PC, When playing as killer (i’m not sure if it’s just pinhead or not since i’ve only been playing him) you can’t hear any reverb for any sfx. Like on the game map where there’s supposed to be reverb, you can’t hear it. This is only on the killer side. To reproduce just play as killer (maybe specifically pinhead) on any map. I'm not gonna ######### on the devs and tell them that their game is terrible, but the game itself just doesn't feel like a horror game anymore. The maps are too bright, and they care more about competitiveness instead of actual scare factor. Make the maps darker, add some fog, add creepy sfx, add more blood/gore, anything to make the game scarier and not just sweaty and competitive.88 comments 1,612 views last activity

Back in 2018 the sound proximity in dbd was so much better. Everything such as hook sounds, downed sounds, and killer powers sounded realistically distant, now everything such as hook screams are at maximum volume. If a survivor is getting hooked across the map, it would be more realistic for the hook sound to be distant and echoed. Plus it sounds creepier in general. Can we talk about how unrealistic distant sounds are in dbd right now? For example, downed sounds and hook screams. If someone is getting hooked a mile away, why do you hear their scream as if they're right next to your ear? The old survivor hook screams, where their voices sounded very distant and echoey were SO much better. They used to give off a much more erie and sinister vibe. They also sounded much more realistic since their voices are obviously going to sound distant if they are getting hooked meters away.
