Without fail, for the past 2 weeks, every single day that I started a new session of Dead by Daylight as Killer, the first two maps would always be Badham and one of the Swamp maps. Really gets you in the mood for playing Killer -.-4 comments 91 views last activity

I think that Survivors should not be able to push the Killers around simply by running into them or outright blocking them. The other day, I was chasing after an injured Survivor, beelining for them, then I suddenly get pushed to my right even though I "counter-steered" and saw another Survivor come into my FOV who was running straight ahead into me. I was absolutely furious because it felt16 comments 241 views last activity

Both are Perks that reward bad play from the user, which is something I find despicable in a game that is supposed to be based on skill. DS rewards the user by screwing up a chase and getting caught. It completely resets any progress the Killers has worked towards in that chase and can oftentimes make the difference between a kill or not, especially end-game. NOED rewards the user for not b22 comments 1,101 views last activity

In light of the devs' plans to change the Add-on scheme to 4/5/5/4/2 in terms of Rarities for all Killers, I decided to go through all Killers that don't fall into that scheme yet and try to rework their Add-ons and come up with new ones, based on the experience of 1.8k+ hours playing this game on both sides of the Campfire and maintaining its Wiki. Suggestions are welcome. The Hillbilly (39 comments 61 views last activity

This is a big list of many Survivor and Killer Perks and how I would change their numbers, based on more than 1.8k hours of experience on both sides of the Campfire. Originally (back in 2016), most Perks had very low values, making their effects barely noticeably and many Perks retained those low values. Currently, we seem to move to Perks with much greater effects that are also much more noti10 comments 52 views last activity

If you "somewhat" make signs that you want to farm with the Survivors, but then still chase them down and hook them. Do you honestly expect any Survivor to trust your motive? I'm asking this because the last Killer got unbelievably mad at us for not farming with him (he played a Bloody Party Streamer) after he did just that. I'm generally wary of such Killers and ignore them, seems my team16 comments 171 views last activity

The poor state of the game over the last year has driven away many of the decent players and the majority of what's left are are Survivors that thrive on toxicity and Killers that thanks to that have become utterly toxic as well. It doesn't matter anymore whether you play Killer or Survivor. As long as you don't play SWF, you suffer in this game and it's absolutely sad. EDIT: Apparently, it41 comments 711 views last activity

For the past 2 weeks, I have played no map more often than Grim Pantry. I often get it 2-3 times in a row (no Offerings) and certainly several times in a game session of 2-3 hours. I'm so unbelievably sick of seeing that blasted map and would like for the map chooser algorithm to take into account how often one has played a particular map in the past couple of games and give them a lower chance t2 comments 1 views last activity

Let new players know in a scenario that they can both heal other Survivors AND also be healed by them. I just had a game with someone brand new that practically killed himself by refusing stay still even a moment to get healed, afterwards revealing in the chat that he didn't know about that ability.1 comments 22 views last activity

I've shown in a previous thread how the removed grab vacuum can be potentially exploitable: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/1836/why-removing-the-grab-vacuum-is-a-considerable-killer-nerf/p1 Inspired by that and some suggestions I've read, I would like to suggest to add a second way of how a Killer can pick a Survivor up and onto their shoulder. Make it so, that the Killer0 comments 11 views last activity

Namely Decisive Strike and Hex: No One Escapes Death Both Perks reward their user for a bad play on their own part. DS for being unable to outjuke and lose a Killer, NOED for being unable to put pressure on the Survivors and preventing Generator repair. Whereas some might argue that the former is far worse than the latter, both have a similar result: they outright deny the receiving part24 comments 151 views last activity

See title. The devs have promised that people who still buy the Characters would receive a unique cosmetic with it.20 comments 1,461 views last activity

I know that's called Broken for a reason, but it not being able to open the Hatch should be enough. Please give this key at least a very basic aura-reading function. It's the only Item that is 100% useless if you find it in a Chest and don't have Ace in the Hole equipped.0 comments 121 views last activity

I always preferred levelling all Characters equally instead of putting all my Bloodpoints into the same one, which resulted in me generally being reluctant to prestige a Character back in the day. Now I have several Characters that I would like to prestige, but don't really want to simply because I've levelled them way past Level 50, anywhere from 20 to 60 Levels above, regarding the Perk count,0 comments 21 views last activity

Why? Because some people are absolutely unreasonable maniacs in the pre-game chat and shouldn't be playing this game. I joined a lobby as the 3rd Survivor. Shortly after me, a Claudette wielding a flashlight joined as the last one and then texted in the pre-game chat, that "the Killer might dodge", probably because of her flashlight, I suspect. I then answer her, that "a flashlight-wielding5 comments 31 views last activity

A big problem with the new Emblem System and its pip conditions is how Players (mis-)understand them. Players have way too high expectations: expecting Iridescent Emblems and double-pips to be a common occurrence as the old system used to hand out the latter like candy. Under the Emblem System, both are intended to be exclusive to players who have outdone themselves in the trial and performed2 comments 31 views last activity

I'm sorry, but several 100% safe pallets inside the School building with a very long vault loop is NOT needed. It's an utter joke. I tried closing the loops down with traps, but of course they got all disarmed by someone who kept following me around, so that when I actually chased someone through the school, no traps were active.0 comments 11 views last activity

Mainly the Trapper, Wraith and Hillbilly Killers these days are much more animated than the original Killer trio, best comparison is Bubba's moving tongue, while the Hillbilly's is just fixed in place. It would be nice if you could revisit the old Killers and give them some love animations-wise, making them more lively. It's not as bad for the Trapper since his face is hidden behind a mask,1 comments 11 views last activity
