So I thought that survivors would lose a carried tape if they were hooked but I lost mine after being hit. Was this always intended or did they change it from PTB to live? Also, what happens when a tape is destroyed? Do one of the tvs permanently go off? Technician is supposed to reduce this by 8 meters. The spring clamp is supposed to do the same. But I’m a little confused…. When you’re repairing generators there are certain noises you make although they’re often not even audible because the generator itself is so noisy. I know this isn’t new information but I’m still surprised at just how bad they can be. I had a match where a Yun-Jin dc on first hook and the bot took over. Someone saved her and what does she do? Run around the map - not doing gens, not healing. I was working on a gen and the bot ran up to it then turned around and ran up the hill and off of it and took off into the distance. I understand WHY they do this. I just don’t think they should. If I’m running Boil Over the killer will see it and know not to drop from a great height which negates that part of the perk. If I’m running Dissolution the survivors in my TR will see it and know not to fast vault pallets this defeating it’s purpose. It’s not limited to just these perks either. I got Vittorio during the anniversary but haven’t really worked on leveling or playing him. Today, I took him for a spin. I’m familiar with his perks though I’ve not run them myself so I was a little surprised. When running Fogwise I hit more than a few great skill checks yet I could not see the killer’s aura anywhere. Ok, so I’m trying something new here. Obviously, there are some killers in this game that were inspired by some pretty big names in the world of horror. What I mean by this is how every new tome features the latest survivor and killer rather than a random one. There are some characters that have been waiting for a long time, and I know they said the licensed chapters will have a tome follow that will feature older characters. Had a Ghost Face down me on first hit without marking me and I definitely wasn’t injured. He had no perks that would expose me and even if he had my character didn’t read exposed… I just went down on the first hit. His add ons were standard too… nothing about a first hit down. My question is can you only get the survivor masks by playing survivor and killer masks by playing killer or is the mask you obtain completely random no matter which side you’re playing? I really want to try and get them all but I feel like it might be easier to achieve by playing killer since survivors have to escape to get their mask. I know that healing a dying survivor won’t get you any tokens toward the speed boost as it doesn’t trigger skill checks, BUT I’m wondering if the penalty/bonus applies to healing dying survivors as well?
