Steam Zombie gets stuck in this windo wofever Survivor vaults window and zombie stays here forever. This happens until you reset it. The zombie was there for literally 4+ minutes.0 comments 51 views last activity

We're cancelling the nerf to these perks by ~70% right? The healing changes felt "gross" so you're leaving killers with some sort of generator defense - right? Nobody is going to even consider using these perks if you nerf their effectiveness by 70% or more.79 comments 1,574 views last activity

Note the release date of September 7, 2021. If we go look at the DBD wiki archive we can see that Deadlock has been in the shrine ZERO times. Check for yourself. https://deadbydaylight.fandom.com/wiki/Shrines_of_Secrets_Archive#Past_Shrines_of_Secrets19 comments 431 views last activity

This map literally can have an infinite loop. This design is just horrificly bad. You have multiple vault windows leading to pallets leading to multiple vaults. This might be "ok" if the map had been shrunk down to like 8000m². I'm not going to play out any match where someone used an offering for this map or Red Forest.3 comments 51 views last activity

As far as I can tell there is only one : monstrous shrine. How many gen rush perks do we have? It's something like 7 if you consider that some of the perks are to extend or refresh toolboxes. With such perks it's possible to make generators go down to as little as 40 seconds. What if we had the same thing for killers? Maybe killers should have like 7 options to rush survivors to their0 comments 21 views last activity

Somewhere around three years ago DBD had a test where you could only heal about twice per game. After that you played broken. This gave you up to full three health states. This was not a perk from the killer but just a base mechanic that was tested. One of the things VHS got right was that every hit from the killer mattered. Boons and medkits would carry survivors a lot less if you could not hea49 comments 1,202 views last activity

I notice several immediate changes in DBD with the hud changes. 1) Killer bonus is 100% every time I log in. 2) Killer feels miserable to play. Every single game is that much sweatier than the last game. Why? Because everyone knows what to do during the entire match. Why would you give the survivors omniscience? What is a stealth killer supposed to do now? The entire premise is ruined because39 comments 1,321 views last activity

Windows of Opportunity is sitting around a 31% usage rate ( https://nightlight.gg/perks ). Can we give this perk the "iron will" treatment? This perk makes you better in a chase because it tells you where all the pallets are. Exhaustion perks do the same thing. Therefore is it not logical to make it so that this perk doesn't work if you are exhausted?104 comments 3,203 views last activity

Survivors are using Dead Hard against me even when they have Deep wounds. Is this some undocumented change or is it a bug? I suppose they could have been cheating but that is unlikely. I hit survivors and they are in deep wounds They are still able to use Dead Hard This happens every game survivors are using Dead Hard.16 comments 882 views last activity

I understand that the devs want DBD to be a pretty game but this must not come at the cost of good gameplay. There are far too many maps in DBD that are just so big that they are not fair for 90% of the killers. The formula is basically : If the map is big and the loops are very safe then the map is unfair. Eyrie of crows is one of the primary offenders in part because it has a 3 gen that is t19 comments 2,775 views last activity

They refused to do generators and totems. They refused to unhook. The AFK system is far too lenient and needs to force survivors to do generators if there are any left or get afk crows. Why should I keep playing DBD if survivors can hold me hostage by not playing the game as intended because they want hatch in a desperate situation?11 comments 231 views last activity

If you live under a rock here's a video you can watch to learn about DH. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9a9LM-jyro The biggest problem with this perk is the "third health state". This is what killers wanted removed. Dead Hard needs another nerf. There's a super simple fix here that would keep this perk strong but make people not want to use it "all the time". Some people might not know but the Nurse has some super cheese in her kit. As an example: you can loop up before blinking to get a longer blink. Can we delete this please? There is no reason for this tech to stay in the game. She has a default blink range and getting more by looking up is just not fair. They either need to be "default self care speed" or have charges. It's not fun to play against a boon as killer where the survivors can heal faster than it takes to cause an injury. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqsyyEQrCCI31 comments 651 views last activity

Can we talk about how many killers that are "try harding" are running gen regression perks? Is that not a clear symptom something is wrong with the game? Look at the math. The killer has a regression rate that is roughly 1/4th the speed of one survivor. There are four survivors. So the killer has a 1:16 regression rate. Tunneling generators is advantageous for the survivors. Maybe it i1 comments 21 views last activity

Big picture question : Why do I need to tunnel to win and how do we prevent it? The answer is : survivors need to be less efficient at finishing generators & killers need to be less efficient at killing survivors. Mathematically there is nothing wrong with the survivors having two gens done if one survivor has lost two health states. That is a bare minimum that is fair for the killer. Sadako Nemesis Pinhead What do they have in common? They're premium killers with some of the best generator regression from the 6.0 update that are unfairly locked behind a year+ lockout. Pinhead was released on 7 September 2021 Deadlock has appeared in the shrine 0 times since then. Nemesis was released on 15 June 2021 Eruption has appeared in the shrine 0 times since then.27 comments 1,231 views last activity

The Sun and Wind have a bet about who can remove a man's coat. The sun being wiser and older lets the wind go first. The wind huffs up and blows with all his might attempting to tear off the man's coat. But no matter how hard the Wind blows the man clenches his coat tighter as the cold air reaches him. Finally the Wind gives up and gives the Sun its turn. The sun simply smiles and radiates warmt35 comments 531 views last activity

Is it intentional that if Sadako chain teleports to her TVs that you can prevent survivors from picking up a tape? Seems like a gross oversight along the lines of "AFK pig". Should survivors always be able to grab a tape from a TV?1 comments 31 views last activity

Most of the maps are bugged currently - it's not just the new map. Just played a game on Father Campbell's chapel where every potential vault position in the middle building was a vault - making it an infinite. Observation: The reality is that boons can be renewed indefinitely and hexes cannot. You need a perk to remove boons forever but not for hexes. Devour Hope or NOED are clear example of why survivors should not need a perk to be able to remove hexes. That alone should make the developers realize therefore that boons should not need a perk to remove them from the map. At what point did survivors1 comments 31 views last activity

There are 213 perks in DBD. Of these there are 36 general perks that are always unlocked and do not appear in the shrine. No less than 95% of all the games I have played have been on the RPD rework. This is just gross. First let me say the new map is not an exciting rework. It's almost as bad as the old map because instead of narrow paths now there are too many junctions that lead back to previous rooms. What did everyone want? They wanted the map to be about 9000m² and have some nice loops. Instead it's just lame40 comments 1,121 views last activity

When you play Killer vs efficient survivors they tunnel generators. This forces the killer to tunnel survivors. Fundamentally speaking nothing has changed about the situation where survivors have a shorter objective than killers by about 2 minutes - unless the killer gets one player out of the game with the first three hook states. This pushes killers down a path where they only bring perks t3 comments 131 views last activity

There are way too many "decision gates" of where you can go to hide. In addition to this there are way too many vaults/pallets per room. If the strength of an indoor map is that you can hide then there needs to be fewer vaults and pallets because you can hide. Indoor maps with god pallets are just gross. We need to bring back unsafe pallets like we had on Demo's map. Please use t0 comments 11 views last activity

Today I bought a new survivor for 9000 shards instead of buying one perk for 2000+4000+6000 shards. I noticed that I was getting 3 perks per web until level 50 which gave me one web for two perks. This is slower progression and it feels like your entire premise of faster progression was a lie.9 comments 191 views last activity

In this video Otz plays against survivors in the 1v1 Scenario. Most of the people he plays against can make the chase last anywhere from one to three minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ca5XPVfY48 The ability for any one survivor to be able to run a killer like this breaks the game. The basemend in Eyrie of Crows makes the main building be exploitable by survivors. It will create a huge deadzone in either corner on the "short side" of the map where you cannot use the basement. Killers overall feel very good with the new changes. That being said I want to address an elephant that has been lingering in the room for a long time now. All killers need to have a "damage cooldown" whenever they hurt a survivor with the exception of Plague, Trickster and the Trapper's Beartraps (and LF using his chainsaw). Every killer not on this list should go thorugh the "recovery" an8 comments 61 views last activity

I've been playing since 2016 and I remember the first big nerf to survivors (June 29 - 1.02 patch). It's been almost 6 years but you finally came through and decided to make the game fun for killer. SWF is literally the strongest perk in the game. You can get at least 12 perks worth of information per game by talking. How do we nerf SWF in a fun and fair way? It's really simple : change SWF so that no character/perk/item can be repeated. This makes solo queue strong because you can use whatever perk you want. This keeps SWF fun because you can talk to your friends but now you have l8 comments 141 views last activity

Many killer perks can be removed from the game; as an example corrupt goes away after 2 minutes. Hexes can be game changing but also can be found and removed. By design survivors are supposed to have stronger perks - this is a paraphrased quote from Mat Cote in 2016. But when you consider SWF on top of this it just feels like a losing balance to want to play killer. In the case of a SWF you a60 comments 1,012 views last activity

The only reason to hide MMR is because you have something to hide. If you want us to feel good about MMR just let us see our MMR score. If some survivor runs a killer for 5 gens and has a crazy high MMR score we can understand why it happened. Give players the option to hide the end game screen MMR values (just like chat).15 comments 161 views last activity
