I personally liked pretty much all the skins and recolors tbh. Would rather have any other character than Jonah, Blight and Nurse tho.

they have been missing longer than Maurice to me at this point

they couldn't really change much " in the beginning of the years of DBD" cause you know, you can't always know if a thing is ok or broken in a game without testing and seeing it working out in game (which takes time of course). Sure 6 years might have been long (maybe too long) for changing things but well, better late than never.
Saying they "completely nerfed all perks to garbage" is also such a untrue statement. There were nerfs, buffs and some tweaks as well. Also I think it is pretty dumb to be upset with the idea of getting used to new perks if you realize that we have new perks every chapter as well.
When you have a game that exists for 6 years with constant updates, it sounds quite ridiculous as well to have the playerbase running the same perks for 2 years also, like, you know, what's the need for multiple options if it all comes down to 1-3 ctrl C + ctrl V builds?
In regards of the last claim, they addressed the camping/tunneling aspect of the game. You know, the endurance wasn't always there by default, no way you would say even this was a frustrating change for survivors (if so I can't think of what would satisfy you at all at this rate). The issue with those aspects is not by any means eradicated though, especially with the reduced DS stun + killer boosts on cooldown, but hopefully this may come to a better change in the future.
Over all I agree that having some disappointments with some things is totally valid (not everything pleases everyone, nor displeases everyone as well), but crying about things changing at all to the point of not playing again sounds just stupid to me.
-
while I don't really see it as a massive issue, I think the idea of a percentage system like you suggested is the best for a change in this (if needed at all) when compared to the other suggestions I've heard before (like the gates instantly reseting like totems or being able to regress to 0).
-
I wish we could get some medieval styled cosmetics for the characters, like jesters, templars, clerics and of course some armors! It'd make for a pretty cool collection I imagine

Lol, imagine waking up in such a nightmare and additionally to all the ######### you have to endure during a trial you have to carry around a backpack and paddles or ski blades or whatever on your back that you can’t lay off
just imagine Clown, at a moment, chasing someone as the literal god of the underworld, then after a split second he just finds himself inside a pink elephant suit
-
I went against a damn Blight yesterday who was running Pain Res + Dead Man and honestly I can't agree with having this perk give the notification anymore. He could quickly check the gen, regardless if there was someone or not, then just go back to chasing someone else, and as a high mobility and lethality killer, he was getting Pain Res to trigger multiple times in a ridiculous spam of time, while also destroying the solos who kept going back to gens which he would check to guarantee the Dead Man for more 45 seconds. It was stupid and annoying as hell, and I get it that not every killer is a meta Blight with speed or a meta Nurse with range, but still, I couldn't be happier with the current changes considering how much this perk already delivers on its own.
-
god I loved playing him since he was released, that was when I started playing killer more and oh how it was great. Even after his rework I still love playing him, I ADORE practicing his flicks and it is so satisfying to land those through wall hits. And just as great as it is playing as him, after using him so many times I came to know how to play against him better and thus the matches as survivor against him are always my favorites. I love the gambling whenever he puts down his sword, should I go ahead, turn back, get distance? Such a satisfying killer, I can't say I love him enough. Wish we played at the same servers so we could have the chance to get in the same match, I love going against survivors who can enjoy playing against him.
-
whenever she's not flickering or fading out of screen.
seriously tho, not very often but I do get to play against one every 30-40 matches I'd say. I have seen more Sadakos than Doctors and Hags strangely enough tho.
-
in my headcanon the outfits are all from other variants of the survivors from other dimensions/universes, since it is confirmed through in game lore that there are multiple universes and versions of the characters, and also by judging how some item descriptions feel like they would not match the personality/lore of the character as we know them. I guess they just kind of wake up after dying/escaping a trial and find themselves wearing something randomly chosen by The Entity and just go along with it.
-
I clicked this to see if it was bait lol
-
sometimes, yea
-
I would eat my own shirt just to never have to see a Blight ever again. But honestly this would be a pretty bad mechanic for the game really
-
just look at Myers shadow whenever you play him, trust me

My favorite film but i dont think it would work in dbd. The only thing that I can think of that would work is to make it so that the killer converts survivors to the other side, but swf or altruistic survivors can ruin that. Unless they turn into ai.
yeah I see it mostly coming as a Paragraph with only the survivor, a killer would be quite tricky imo to get not only because of the gimmick but also since in the movie itself it's not like the monster has a specific appearence to use as base (like we have Pinhead, Freddy, Sadako and others).
-
making my Clown fart when getting stuned, saying "SIKE" when closing the hatch, shouting "BABABOOEY" when hitting a survivor and saying "I came" when mori'ng them

The Thing would be great. The original "Snake" and a snowy Outpost map.
I'd be so glad for having MacReady in game as well, he would absolutely be my new main and also my first male main, that's how much I love the guy
-
oh no no, he was just quoting an old horror movie called The Thing, and the artwork he chose also gives a bit of a callback for the scene!
-
this one made me smile for real, just a silly refference to The Thing, but it was so nice seeing it. I could go nuts and say this is a hint that it would be coming soon to the game, but honestly I like the idea of it being just this, a refference made by a fan. It is just nice seeing someone in the team also being a fan of The Thing. God I hope Justin is just as much as a fan boy as I am and keeps telling the other members of the staff "hey guys, hear me out, this movie here would be GREAT to add to the game!!!"
-
I go full "whatever happens happens" mode and just don't sweat even a little. If she's good? I just die quickly and move on. If she's avarege? I get to earn some points and fool around a bit. She's bad? I'm getting all the bones and chests I see and maybe just leave with some new stuff as a reminder.
-
lol
-
just tuned in, lol

before they released Trickster I had all characters except Clown, which I was not even close to wanting to get, BUT after I finally decided to get him with Iri shards and started playing him for the achievements, I just fell in love with him. He's one of my favorite to the day and I always find myself having at least some kind of fun when playing him
-
I sincerely see your point but still just rather go for Dark Devotion for really no logic reason at all other than liking it a bit more. I think it is one of my comfort perks.
DD with insta down killers + Knock Out also is kinda funny sometimes
-
Wraith or Hag, but I think Hag could get it earlier considering the swamp map still hasn't been reworked, so it could be a good idea to launch both her new chase music and her map rework together.
-
as long as you're truly caring about anything at all, hardly
but if you just don't care and want to go nuts, run whatever you want, play however you want, never for a single second care or expect anything from the other side, then maybe, just maybe, sometimes yea it can be fun
-
I don't mind much about those that take a bit longer in ammount of items (like do X gens, heal X times), but I do have a huge problem with those stupidly designed like "in a SINGLE match stay hidden within 10 meters of the killer for 60 seconds", "unhook someone who unhooked you 4 times", "escape using only 1 specific perk". Some of these are ridiculous because there's no way of tracking if you're even making progress at a match, and also you can't tell if you already reached the goal before deciding to play normally and ignore the challenge. Others are just not well thought in terms of how many times you can do a certain thing in a match, and how many players could even do the same thing/challenge at the same time.
-
if we got a knight of some kind he could even be riding Maurice! Maybe that's why our favorite horsy is missing :O I hope so
-
he 100% let you win and you know it

I'd think Bill or Meg

With things like this we tried to do a mixture to give thanks to the people that were in the Stream and were donating. We did BP codes that are available to everyone and yes whilst we had to limit the cosmetic codes, we made it as fair as possible and also did console specific codes. It's unfortunate that we have to do a first come first served and it's always sad when people lose out.
I think it would be less frustrating to most people if these types of donated rewards were done in a sort of raffle, like, I'm almost sure Twitch offers the tools to do so (I've seen it done before but not sure if it was something done through Twitch or a third party "random picker"), but anyways, free stuff is free stuff, I don't think it's worth arguing at all about it since sometimes you get lucky and sometimes someone else does, but that's just a suggestion anyway :)
-
I now have in my headcanon, as a Clown main, that Clown will 100% rebel and demand that the Entity punishes the Dredge for what it did, which won't happen since the Entity won't really care enough, and thus we enter the age that Clown will prove his superiority by crushing down the killer that can be considered sort of a god.
Just imagine John Wick but Clown is the main guy and instead of his dog they killed his horse.
-
good
-
maybe they're too sensitive to watch the animation till the end, I couldn't handle seeing my poor Zarina being stabbed to death, it would break my heart 😫
-
I think both this and the double locker flashlight save are the two things I find most disgusting on both sides and that should really be looked onto by the devs.
-
The first time I tried and got Meciless it didn't trigger and as some people pointed it seemed that maybe the addon colors could have something to do with it (I was using a Yellow and a yellow and a brown one at this attempt, also had a yellow offering).
Tried it again now with only green addons and also a green offering and got it. Could either have something to do with the colors as it seemed OR they have come to fix it by the time I tried again with green stuff only (not with the perks tho, these were 2 greens and 1 purple)

Are you talking about rift fragments? The double XP event only gave a boost to getting shards, not fragments
I know I know, but with that in point, I end up playing more games and consequently getting more fragments. But also, maybe I just didn't notice before, but I've been getting like 3 fragments per match (sometimes even 4 no joke), which is like 1500 xp for the rift (I never realised it gave this much before, even after they changed the values), that felt kinda insane compared to how it felt in previous matches and rifts. Not arguing tho
-
the thing I'm most excited is to finally claim the bloodpoints I've been storing at the tome to invest on the new characters. Also a bit anxious because by my math I had enough shards ready for claiming to finish the rift precisely, but with the double XP oddly enough I've passed the threshold by a good bit. It is silly but I can't not feel awkward knowing that I will have too many extra shards by the time I decide to get 'em, but I also couldn't refuse taking part on the double XP boost so😅
-
also the animations
-
my ex's new boyfriend.
-
I am 100% going to get them both as I'm obsessed with having all perks and going for all achievements. I might try getting the chapter in giveaways but I feel like I won't be able to wait for much long, so if I don't get it this way at an early time, I'll most likely just use the shards I have to get them. I really look forward to playing as the Dredge more and see how its power will look at release.
-
I have a similar relationship with the Clown's Lord of the Underworld skin, I enjoyed both farming the shards for it and then getting into the theme. I use a full Hex build with it as if he was some kind of god of curses, feels really fun and satisfying
-
OP
-
Wraith announces his presence with the bell before striking because deep inside he doesn't truly want to kill the survivors, thus he tries to warn them so they have a better chance at surviving.
Bill treats David and Ace as his grandsons.
Jeff has a crush on Kate.
The Oni only "respects Pyramid Head, and maybe recognizes the Huntress as a capable warrior.
Sadako and Spirit are besties.
Zarina and Jane are pretty close friends.
Meg and Julie have a feud.
The Trickster and Danny could have a pretty solid relationship, if they both didn't have such a big ego.
-
why not both?
-
this is absolutely one of the worst and most poorly designed challenges by far
-
I did play SH3 when I was way younger on PS2 but never got to finish it, then years later I played SH2 fully, really liked it.
-
if you play killer I'd suggest getting the addons you like for them.
