  • been affected by this for almost 2 years and still no update, no comment these devs hate their players. Their greed knows no ends, they have your money and now they dont care if you can play or not.

  • Every killer has a weakness, the only one who didnt was nurse that's why it was un balanced. I love nurse playing as and against but I can see she needed the change. None the less it was warranted. And more than likely she will be brought back in line with old her or close to old her in future patches.

Lol. No, she is not balanced. She went from a bit too powerful to complete garbage.

Because the devs forgot that Blinking was not only for attacking, but also how she got across the map!

Now she moves slower than a WALKING Survivor AND cannot Blink for 90% of her playtime.

If they were going to nerf, yes NERF, her Blink into unusability, they should have given her a movespeed to actually be able to chase Survivors.

This nerf was either the result of a complete lack of understanding of how Nurse works, or done to cater to Survivors who did not want to learn to counter her.

When a killer excels at everything they need to be weak at somthing, her map mobility is the weakness now.

She had less mobility, actually. But everything else was better.

Nurse was the only killer capable of dealing with coordinated survivors, swf or not. If they stayed seperate on gens, basically 80% of the killer roster would lose instantly. You can try to slug, be the best player ever, but they're survivors. They get way more second chances and loads more to work with than you do. So they can genrush regardless of the situation if they're good. Nurse stood a chance vs this, now? She's really map dependent. And very server dependent.

All I'm seeing is you making every excuse in the book to not adapt and learn because you got to attached to, blink blink blink hit blink down. Okay now I can do this over and over with no repercussion, you are crying cause you have to actually think about when and how to use your blink like every other killer. Every killer has weak maps every killer has hard points to get over. I play 70% killer 30% survivor. I understand its bullshit sometimes but that being said nurse needed the slight nerf. Was it a little overkill maybe, is it bad for the game not in the slightest.

It doesn't matter Nurse mains have tried. And they're not even whining about the fact she's weaker now. It's because she's significantly weaker to the point you straight up stare at a power bar half the game because that's fun.

Nurse had plenty of feedback for survs to work with, as survivor I never had any issues facing a Nurse unless she had Omega or 3 blinks. Her basekit was fair, and devs said they wouldn't nerf it. But survs cried and banded together by dcing a bunch til she finally got nerfed.

Strange cause nurse no addons and no perks still dominated rank one. She needed the nerf because she had map pressure, mobility, speed, ignoring terrain, and little to no cooldown on her ability to negate everything anyone can do. 2 blink nurse had more mobility and utility than billy does.

  • You can break los from legion. Your point? Oh wait nurse can go through walls weird.

Legion was genuinely too strong in some areas with no counterplay, that's why they got changed. Legion was a bad killer even before the nerfs.

Nurse is not healthier for the game now. She's living proof that swf and survs get the majority vote, likely because of cosmetic spending. She is horrible to play, wasn't fixed, and is awful on loads of maps now.

She had the same amount of counterplay legion had, try and juke. Guess what legion was gutted, nurse got a slap and now she is still top tier, you arnt punished for using your ability, you still can down but instead of blink hit 2sec fatigue blink hit. It's not blink hit 2 sec fatigue 2 sec cd blink hit.

  • But she is balanced now and better for the game.. same argument legions players suffered and are still reaching out for help about.

  • Legion cosmetics and overall game stability changes

  • Hurr durr I didnt want to do bones and now fane is dying. Dude just do totems and noed is literally useless like holy cow can people be any more entitled.

They are nerfing Nurse. But she also can't M1 brute Force her way through a chase like Legion can.

They changed legion to be this way they made him an m1 killer to satiate the people

This much I cannot say. The only thing that we've announced will be happening for sure so far is an update to the pin add-ons. They will not require someone to have deep wounds in order to apply the status effect. Anything else is still up in the air.

Thankyou for taking Time out of your day to respond, honestly the only big change that I'll ask for is either vault speed increase or receding the nerf on the cd addons. But even for those who havnt said so thankyou for all yall do.

So what? A killer can sit in a corner and NOED will still activate if survivors don't cleanse totems. Just as survivors can sit in a corner and Adrenaline doesn't activate because apparently you didn't sop 3 people doing 5 gens. That's still not a good basis to whine about a perk "Well you can POTENTIALLY do nothing therefore its an unfair perk" That's ridiculous.

And no, i do not dislike NOED. The ecuses for both are just getting real thin.

Read the whole discussion, my point is that they're equal in the fact that they're end game perks and have a power curve as such. The only difference one can be completely negated by taking time to do so. They're is literally no point in trying to nerf noed anymore than there is trying to nerf adrenaline because they're balanced.

  • @Hoodied said:

Actually the Auto ended lunges are cause, from what I have seen, survivors spinning slightly in front of the killer during the start of the lunge animation, the cone system in place will cause the killer to follow through and end the animation early on its own, and I also do medium lunges because of this

What you're seeing are whiffs due to 360's and aimassist. Short lunges counter this.

  • @altruistic said:

Adrenaline rewards a player for completing their objective, Surviving until all the generators are powered.

NOED rewards a player for not completing their objective, sacrificing.

    The two do not equate.

But IF I even play the game now, I 100% run Small Game. If Small Game became a meta perk, you would quite literally never see NOED.

If I kill 3 of you and close the hatch you get rewarded for doing nothing. They're both end game perks they literally have the same requirement to active but one can be stopped by doing bones.

  • @Hoodied said:

@undeadmauler You don't know about the game auto ended lunges do you?

And PC has higher sensitivity than console, so hitting the survivor is not too hard there, while on Xbox for example, with the sensitivity as slow as it is, instead of following through with the survivors spin and not abruptly ending can result easily with a whiff and make you go through the chase

Auto ended lunges are caused by not going through the whole animation without letting go of the attack. You can cancel the animation early and get a shorter lunge by just tapping, the biggest counter to big spins is getting on them waiting for the spin then short lunge, nlanything else is a greedy swing and if you miss it's not the movement it was your poor judgement of distance.

  • @Hoodied said:

@undeadmauler yes, but on PC frenzy is harder to spin out, console is easier as of many issues, like slow af sensitivity and its at max

Spinning frenzy isnt hard on either, it's just movement the biggest cause of misses is either lag or someone getting greedy

  • @Hoodied said:

I have been doing the same since the rework, even better really, and yes DW actually speeds up the chase more if you play legion properly, and I play on console

Console vs pc is a different beast, legion is just a m1 killer now, using their power to "slow the game down" requires the survivors to be absolute potato's

You cannot play all matches with a map. Items and addons are limited. Same could be said about old DS it was fine because Enduring, yet it got changed.

Not every killer runs noed, if your gonna talk ifs and buts then bring detectives hunch, or small game. You have the tools but people dknt want to change their playstyle to do it. Also ds got changed but so did enduring. Ds wasn't an issue comparing noed to adrenaline would make more sense but the only counter to adrenaline is noed or plague.

Old ds was fine because you could just dribble, and your right you cant, but not every killer brings noed. If you want to complain about ifs and buts then assume every killer has noed and bring a map or detectives hunch. You have the tools to counter this almost useless perk but people dont want to give up their playstyle to do so.

People who solo que are the ones who suffer the most from NOED. To them this perk is very unfair as they have no way of knowing how many totems are left uncleansed. SWF have no rights to even complain about NOED. That is the main problem - how to bridge the gap between solo que and SWF when it comes to NOED.

Bring a map, with the red twine and you'll know if you've covered the map once where and if any totems are left. People have the tools, I mainly solo que as survivor and if noed pops I dont get butthurt cause it was preventable.

nope. Because all those perks you listed REWARDS us for good gameplay. Not like NOED.

NOED rewards bad gameplay on the killer side (because you failed to prevent gens from popping Hey, it happens).

Decisive Strike + Borrowed Time: Anti- tunneling perks. Just don’t tunnel. Simple.

Adrenaline: Doing the objective and succeeding!

    Your thoughts?

Hurr durr I didnt do the totems like a smart player hurt durr nerf a perk that literally can be removed with 70 seconds of time spent doing totems grrr killers op. Also I made a mistake and got caught better have 3 second chance perks hurt durr. Dude noed is balanced just like the survivor perks are everything is fine and stop complaining about a perk you can literally stop by taking time to do so. Just like how killers can stop ds and bt by taking time to ignore you.

Maybe it does sound a little crazy I'll admit, but it's for the health of the game. I mean, look, you see many people get turned off by many things in this game such as gen-rush, tunneling, camping, insta-heals, and so on; I can list many more things if you want me to.

Sure, my idea isn't perfect, nothing is perfect, but I feel like this would make the game more enjoyable. Survivors and killers have their own problems, I feel like it would in our best interest to make both sides enjoyable. Survivors don't want to get camped a lot, which is understandable because it does prevent you from doing anything. However, at the end of the day, we should be encouraging the killer to go out there and find some new blood, ya know?

I also understand there are times where you're supposed to camp, that's fine. My idea is supposed to stop unnecessary camping, and encourage a more interactive game. :)

The idea can always be changed later to fit the balance of the game. Since you do seem to have a problem with my idea, which is completely fine, do you have any suggestions to make it better? I can't do anything with, "Bad idea, bad thread" ya know?

Personally as I survivor I wouldn't enjoy being punished even further for a rando getting hooked. It would feel like I'm being punished for literally 0 reason all because the power role did their job so I have to deal with extra bs rather than just already given map pressure and having to save them. This change would be 100% unfair and unjust. Maybe give the killer haste for a few seconds after leaving a hooked survivor within a certain period of time

  • @NMCKE said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/614824#Comment_614824

You know survivors don't have to get off of generators when someone is hooked, they can keep repairing the generator until the hooked survivor is about to progress to the next phase. Also, this doesn't make snowball potential any better because you have to go to a generator in order to get these effects - it doesn't help you take down more survivors.

No it totally doesnt give you more snow ball at all by making it so you have built in PTGW and ruin /s. Dude you're idea is quite literally "give killers 2 free perk slots for doing nothing"

  • @NMCKE said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/614823#Comment_614823

Not really, I can get many hooks and downs just to be gen-blitzkrieg'd because survivors are that efficient with generators. Overall, it's not as bad as you think, we don't even know how it could play out yet. Maybe it needs a nerf? Maybe it needs a buff? Maybe it's perfect? We don't know for sure yet.

Or maybe you didnt apply pressure right and they powered through gens cause you were making small misplays that added up, giving another snowball power buff is just lazy imagine if you said the same thing for survivors giving them free power for doing their objective. The community would turn on its head.

  • @NMCKE said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/614815#Comment_614815

If the killer wants that power, they will need to distance themselves from the hooked survivor, and even then, they won't always have this amount of power. They will lose it over time when there is no survivors hooked. Also, the downsides are rather small, you can tap the generator and power through Ruin like most survivors do nowadays.

The fact killers already gain pressure and map control from one hook is the reward for not camping. You gain more pressure and snowball this is literally an easier step to snowballing

  • @NMCKE said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/614815#Comment_614815

You're not seeing the point, this would be a huge power curve for no trade off. You camp cool free kill, dont camp cool free perk slots. There is no trade off for the play you're just getting rewarded either way.

  • @NMCKE said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/614808#Comment_614808

Actually it's rewarding killers for good plays, which encourages them to go out for some new blood! :)

Camping is annoying, but necessary in the game. We want to reduce as much camping as possible while still giving killers the option to camp when the situation is right (I.E. Exit Gates Opened, Survivors Near Hook)

This change is literally a win/lose. Killers will get a massive buff and survivors who will already be pressured to save and will get nerfed and forced into a loss with just one hook. Itll make ruin obselite and it's just another huge power curve for no reason other than people arnt using the counterplays given to them. You just want more free strength with 0 downsides.

  • Run kindred and boom there ya go information for everyone

  • @NMCKE said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/614802#Comment_614802

I would rather get rewarded for not camping, then to get punished for camping - At least that's what most if the community thinks is the best choice.

That makes no sense. You get rewarded already by map pressure and control of the game if you camp you only get rewarded when people are too altruistic. You're suggestions are just handholding for bad plays

  • Another reward for not camping thread even tho camping is a viable strategy and is countered by doing gens or bt or dstirke how strange

  • @Killermain6116 said:

Why does he say legion have no map pressure he can’t hit multiple survivors any once and not apply a lot ppl are just playing him wrong

Because if people are standing damn near next to each other you wknt get more than one hit. Legion has 0 map pressure.

  • As a man I want shirtless David, you see them hunks mmmm

  • They used to be super fun and super weak. Now their midtier at best and very boring. Play wraith for more fun. Since it's a better version of current legion

  • @Chaotic_Riddle said:

@undeadmauler Yeah, I just want to make sure Legion isn’t seen as ‘dead’ by newer players. They can still be usable, but they’re VERY underwhelming. If people, like me, love them for their design though, it’s nice to try and get some usage out of them. ;D

I'm always gonna miss old legion with their noticable speed and great cd addons. I wish the devs just fixed the exploit on them but oh well, I've made it back to r1 as legion and will continue to do so till they're in a better spot haha

  • As a legion main as well I can agree this works but it Aires on the boring side of gameplay, you're kinda forced to run an even more limited pool of perks to be remotely viable and even then it's sad:/ but this should help new players to legion :D

  • @Peanits said:

This is a bug that will be fixed with the update today. Historically, the stun out of cloak was reduced by Enduring, a bug just popped up in the 3.0.0 update.

    Awesome! Thanks for the update!

  • @Peanits said:

This would actually make me not want to use it on the Wraith. Getting stunned out of your cloak while using Spirit Fury saves you from having to uncloak first. If I stayed cloaked when stunned by a pallet, I would have to uncloak afterwards before I could hit them.

You basically would not be able to use Enduring + Spirit Fury on the Wraith at all. To use it, you'd have to uncloak. If you do this away from the pallet, they throw it down, you get no Spirit Fury. If you do this in the pallet, they stun you, you stay cloaked, they have enough time to run to the next one.

At the moment the pallet stun out of cloak isnt affected by enduring, you still suffer the full duration of the stun o.o but I agree this would feel more like a nerf XD

  • They said they arnt going to touch legion for a while. I'm sad as a legion main. I just hope something happens even a small buff to anything would be better than nothing as it is now.

  • Become last survivor, instead of hatch searching sit at one gate with wake up. Enjoy free escape as killer closes hatch.

  • @SmokePotion said:

it isn't really slow. it just feels it.

The old legion went from one of the slowest killers in the game, to one of the fastest. By pushing a button. It felt fast. it felt good.

The new legions speed is only a little slower then his old max, and lasts longer, so it lets him actually use his power to move around the map some. He's actually stronger then he was.

He just doesn't feel as fun. Because old legion felt FAST.

It went from 5.6mps to 5mps. Its literally cut down to bloodlust 1.2 instead of a sprint.

  • Because every braindead survivor and "killer main" said new legion is good. But they're a boring m1 killer who is easier to loop than freddy.

  • This. All of this. But guys!!!! YoU hAvE tO gIvE nEw LeGiOn A cHaNcE it's Better tHeY aRe StRoNgEr.... seriously tho I hate this bland ass m1 rework.

  • Even tho I dislike the changes to legion, I'mstill maimingthem and have found that bbq, 3rdseal, Franklin's, and discordance is a great slug/game slow build. Paired with duration addons cause they're the only useful ones now with allthe nerfs.

  • @Peanits said:

I feel like this would mostly just be used by SWF groups to props each other and get a massive amount of points. Outside of that, I can see people asking each other for props after the match.

We would like to do something more with props in the future, but we don't have any solid plans for them right now. If you've got ideas, we'd love to hear them.

Giving props to a killer (as surv) Grant's BP. Giving props to surv(as surv) maybe just an item chance in bloodweb. Giving to surv(as killer) Grant's bp

  • @Peanits @not_Queen i believe the addon is bugged to not show the heartbeats of those in your "mapwide TR" after you land a first hit.

    Entitled survivor main intensifies

Nurse and hillbilly take alot of skill

actually killer main, trapper main then old legion main(didnt exploit or cheese) and now new wraith and trapper main. 4headfengmin i know what im talking about when it comes to bs cheap lowskipp gap high skill cap killers aka billy/nurse

  • @Peanits said:

You said yourself that the issue with the old Legion is that they had no counterplay. To play Devil's Advocate, what one or two nerfs alone would have fixed that? The terror radius deep wound change covers moonwalking, but what about someone who only repeatedly uses frenzy to down a survivor? Since there is no counterplay there as well, how do you suggest that should have been fixed? With those two changes in mind, would the Legion be good, or would they be weak?

For what it's worth, I've been watching plenty of people playing the Legion since the update and they've been very successful. The less fun aspects may be gone, but in terms of overall power, the Legion does not appear to have taken much of a hit (if any, they actually seem stronger).

Any w+m1 killer will do well. Legion isnt fun anymore we are better off playing wraith with 10x better efficiency. That'sthe issue.

  • @KaoMinerva said:

Billy & Nurse shouldn't be touched... Period

Billy and nurse have 0 downsides and are arguably the easiest to play, I havnt lost a game as nurse and only played her 4 times, all in rank 1. They need balance but because people intentionally potato when it comes to showing "how much skill you need to play them" bs they're too easy with so little counter play especially nurse. "Hurr duee just double back" sure that doesnt work when I look down and blink right on you.

  • With the recent iteration of all of legions nerfs, wouldn't one ot tel ofthe changes fix them as a killer? Why was every change compiled on and reducingthem to another idenityless m1 killer?
