  • I'm pretty sure the devs have their attention set on all of these. They have about 150 people give or take working on the game. They care about this game just as much as we do lol

Things will be addressed in due time, faith and patience.

Just watch this... I can tell you don't play killer much.

The New Nurse absolutely needs to use addons to do well, since that recharge time just is not nessisary. Everyone complained about OmegaBlink, not base nurse. These changes will kill her off on console at least.

Basekit nurse had counterplay: Stealth (which survivors don't like to do) or juking (which many weren't good with). I actually learnt to master both, and helped make nurse easier to counter.

XD that video just proved my point entirely, so thank you for that.

First off, he complained about her base cooldown because of the walking speed, saying 'how am I supposed to catch up to survivors?' Not something a nurse main would say. The answer, uhhhh, teleport speed? She's still the fastest killer, and you can go through walls, durp. Not to mention, her cooldown is in effect along side her fatigue animation.

Secondly, he mentioned multiple times that he didn't play her yet, because he made the video before the ptb was even out. Also, underlining tones of 'now I'm upset because she's not a guaranteed 4k, I have to work for it now... sad face'.

  • Killers that main Nurse can do well with no addons anyways, they aren't complaining.

True survivor mains aren't moaning about it, because the changes aren't that drastic. Also, whose ever heard a survivor main complain about a nerf.... 'oh no! I wish old Legion was back...' pfff

The only people that are gonna b*tch about it are those who play her occasionally because she has the best map pressure out of any killer.

It's not an overhaul or overnerf, she's still flying around, get over it.

  • Take the points the killer loses for camping and give them to the person on the hook.

  • Well well, I've been proven correct lol.

This is a well worded poll that shows the majority agree she IS overpowered. Not crazy OP, but nonetheless, unbalanced.

  • The first day dedicated servers went live on pc, I had a consistent 45ms, which I assumed would be the case since one of the server locations is in Oregon and that's where I live.

However, the very next day, I couldn't get a game any less than 110ms. Do you know what's going wrong? I hope bringing it to attention helps letting the right people know, in order to fix the problem.

Also that is for survivors? Meaning all survivors could counter literally all killers. So your perk is overpowered. Spirits ability is limited to 1 player. And that being the Killer themselves.

If everyone could be invisible do you really think anything would get done?

Plus she's a ghost after all... Like come on.

The point I made went a smidge over your head. It was a hypothetical archetype to showcase the absurdity; entirely rhetorical.

Thanks for the input, though :)

  • I'm seeing a lot of comments on here that voted "balanced" and then say 'but here's the thing/things that should be changed because it's kinda OP.....' facepalm

You people clearly don't understand the simplicity of the poll.

  • Looking at the statistics of this poll, we can undeniably conclude The Spirit is overpowered. Not just her addons, but her power as well.

Let me prove it to those who are keeping themselves in the blissful ignorance of thinking she is balanced. Let's say a new survivor perk comes out tomorrow. When the survivor activities this perk, they leave a husk of their payer model, that cannot be hit or walked through, standing in place as they are free to move about completely invisible. It lasts for 4 seconds and has a 30 second cooldown. Good luck killer! :)

New poll, would this survivor perk be overpowered, balanced, or underpowered?

  • Anyone who thinks survivors need to be nerfed has the wrong idea. Half has to do with the map and the other half is how skilled that person is.

Also, most killers don't need a nerf, it's more of some players killing style make it unfair and not a very fun match to play. There are only two killers that need and overhaul, one can teleport through anything and the other is completely and utterly invisible. No distorted outline, no thumping footsteps, absolutely no delay between reappearance and M1, just entirely invisible.

  • Both Nurse and Spirit need to be erased and reworked. Lol

Of course, I know this won't happen, but they both take away the only tool that survivors have at staying alive, running the tiles.

Nurse goes through all, Spirit completely invisible. Enough said.

  • I treat every player with respect until they loose my respect.

As a killer, occasionally I'll get run around by survivors that don't make a lot of mistakes on maps that spawned a lot of strong tiles, I'm fine with this. I understand it's the luck of the map and I wasn't able to put enough pressure on survivors.

If they open the exit gate and run out, cool, but If they sit at the exit gate, being cocky, t-bagging... I'll put their name in my short term memory bank and bring a mori if I see them in the queue.

As a survivor, if a killer is tunneling and or camping and I'm able to make it to the exit gate, I will sit there t-bagging until they walk over and hit me out. To be very clear, I'm not being cocky, I'm shitting on their play style. They can play that way if they choose, but it's taking away someone else's ability to enjoy the game.

  • Are you planning on having a unique event for the Stranger Things DLC? If not, will there be one in the near future?

  • Update: Now I'm even dropping in-game inputs (M1, M2, Space Bar, ect.) at 100% Scale with both Killer and Survivor.

Behavior, please let us know if you are working on this.

  • I knew what was going to happen as soon as I watched the PTB gameplay. He was a weak killer, basically run around and M1, because his power was easily countered.

So I thought "okay, he's gonna get a buff, but it will be too much and survivors will DC, just like they did with old Legion.... He only needed a couple changes, but Behavior did a few to many.

From the PTB release, the changes should have been..

First, Object of Obsession should still be able to see him, but not effect his power.

Second, if he's leaning around a corner, the survivor needs to see his body in order to take him out of his power, not just his face.

Third, (idk if this was the case already but) just add addons that extend the time the survivors need to look at him. Yellow .5 seconds more, green 1 second more, and purple 1.5 seconds more. (or something along those lines)

And that's it. Having to put him in the center of the screen and hold him there in order to take the power down is going to be really buggy and almost impossible to do while in chase, because survivors need to be able to glance forward in order to navigate. So that needs to go.

    Stay safe out there.

I love the concept but Magic Box would depend on whether survivors put offerings to call on more chests which could lessen the chance of the perk activating. And would the killer be able to call on the entity to reduce chests? If you reduce chests by 2, and the perk is 1/2/3 chest affected as you suggest, could be quite unbalanced. I don’t think this perk idea would work, too many variables. But I like the rest a lot, especially curtains closed.

Good point. Yes, the survivors chest offering would bring in a chest that is not affected by the perk, which is a good counter play, but they would need at least +3 chest in order to get a 50/50 odds if the killer has the max perk.

The killer could bring an offering to reduce the chests, but I really don't think anyone that equipped the perk would want to reduce the chances for a survivor to take a hit.

Thank you soo much for the input. Funny enough, I wasn't sure if anyone would like Curtains Closed Lol

  • Just to add, I don't think Magic Box would notify the killer, they would be able to see that a survivor was injured or in the dying state by looking in the bottom left, but the killer wouldn't know where it happened. Unless, of course, they were in the area and heard it.

  • Anyone have any thoughts, input, criticism?

  • Maybe Curtains Closed would be better at 30/40/50 sec.
