  • I think she should be able to booby trap limited number of objects (gens, windows, pallets, lockers) and then you have to play a game before you can use them and if unsucesfull you get injured but untrap the object (let's say you get a skill check like the one from Overcharge or Decisive Strike). Cause right now the gameplay I get from facing a Pig is - catch one survivor, put a trap on him, hook him, tunnel him and down him through every single jigsaw box once he's unhooked and injure those who come to save him, let him die, rinse and repeat. That's the only thing I'd change or modify. It would make a good anti-loop and it would force you to think quick and put pressure on you.

And I'd implement the same idea for The Trapper, but he puts barbed wires on objects which he can collect through lockers (again limited number he can carry). The difference would be that with The Pig you get a skill check, but with the Trapper you have to remove the barb wire from the object so you don't get hurt. And also mix the locker items so that one contains barbed wires and the others contain hatchetcs so the Huntress doesn't have access imediatelly to her power and it seems more realistic.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE IMAGINE A GHOSTFACE COSTUME AS THE GAGGLING GREEN GHOST AND CLAUDETTE AND MEG AS VELMA AND DAPHNE PLEASE

I'd have an asthma attack if this happened

And then imagine all killers get a legendary skin by the villians in the series. Doctor gets 10000 volt ghost, Clown is Ghost Clown, Blight is The Creeper, Hag is Which McCoy, Wraith is Ghostly Gondolier, Demogorgon as The Futuristic Monster, Plague as Queen Morbidia , etc.

  • The only rework Freddy currently needs is to brighten up the newly reworked maps. They are too dark. Other than that he's ok-ish. Other killers need waaay more attention. Pig being number 1, Clown and Plague right behind. Ex. Pig should be able to booby trap limited number of objects (gens, pallets, windows) cause it is a SAW chapter and you have to play A GAME, etc.

  • The biggest issues I personally have with Plague is that survivors who are broken and decide to cleanse are fully healed. Let's say you hit a survivor and he's not broken, but gets infected and transitions to the broken status. Once he cleanses he regains full health (without a medkit or healing). Yes, you get vile purge, but the survivor usually cleanses on the other side of the map (it's a pain when it's a really big map) so it's kinda useless and all that infecting at that point gets pointless and it hurts your emblem system. And when you injest coruption, survivors are usually far away and if hit by it they get sprint burst and get even further away and she is not that fast to catch up to them easily. And she is soooooo easy to loop and so difficult to go against SWF + her chanting when you injest coruption is too loud, so you don't hear survivors and can easily escape. And it's a pain that once all pools of devotion are used, ALL pools reset and you are suddenly forced to use vile purge even if you didn't want to (Let's say when you are three gened or in the end game and you want to find out where the survivor is by infecting objects but you can't).

So some of the buffs I'd suggest:

    • if a survivor is broken and cleanses he stays injured (sort of like legion with frenzy)
    • quiet down the chanting while using corrupted purge
    • corrupted purge can infect objects/survivors
    • not all pools of devotion are reset when the last one is used for cleansing, but rather one is used at random, or half of them are reset
    • change one of her IRI addons to consume corrupted purge state tremeandously faster but get instadowns as a balance

And while we´re at it we might add a Scooby Doo chapter ^^

Scooby Doo (circa era 1969-1984) really did have good villians with interesting powers. If nothing else they can use them as inspirations for the upcomming killers. And it kinda would be cool to include them in the DLC chapter. They were detectives and they were investigating crimes in spooky places (even if it was a cartoon). You could add Daphne and have a legendary skin of Velma or vice versa and do the same with Fred and Shaggy. And you could add Scooby as a perk for something useful, and when he sees the killer he rans away but you could call him back with Scooby snacks or find him hiding on the map somewhere. And it could be like taking a hit or sniffing the killer and point out from which direction the killer is coming from, or locating teammates, or finding chests or totems, or leaving scratch marks as a diversion for a certain period of time, but also adds a drawback that you do actions slower if he isn't by your side.

  • I actually wouldn't mind if a Scary Movie chapter would come out. I actually like Cindy and Brenda better than Sidney and Gal + they offer more cosmetics, variety of killers to chose from (sort of like it was with saw and the pig) and I bet the licence is easier to get then the one from Scream.

  • I don't see this being aknowledged and it's getting really annoying to play against Freddy on the new maps.

  • Hag when placing traps at the beggining of the game. You can not place traps on your first 5-6 attempts. The progress bar starts and then exits when you start placing traps. It works later but it gets annoying as hell.

On some instances Spine Chill doesn't activate. This combined with 0 terror radius - practically a free down for any killer.

EDIT: Noticed something simillar today when playing Hillbilly. At the start of the game Jane entered a locker and the Hillbilly couldn't open the locker on the first few attempts and then she used Head On to stun me. The same thing that happened with Hag and placing traps happened with the Hillbilly by opening lockers. So my guess is the bug is that at the beggining of the match any action performed by the Killer (placing traps, opening lockers, breaking pallets, grabbing survivors, teleporting,...) is unsucessful in the first 5-6 attempts.

  • Same happened with me facing Ghostface. He was literally stalking and looking at me and spine chill didn't activate. That combined with 0 terror radius to all the killers, just perfect.

  • I've seen the same issue with Yamaoka estate. I found 2 clips on youtube where it shows just how dark it is:

    Yamaoka playing Freddy:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmuyxRhhSi4&ab_channel=GameVN

    Badham playing Felix:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GzUIfmEJCc&ab_channel=Svensson309

They did advise not to play Freddy on the new maps during the PTB, but I'm quite surprised they didn't fix this in the release of the new chapter.

  • Same happened with me on PC while playing against the doctor on Pale Rose. I would be repairing a generator alone and the gen would pop for no reason and the Killer wasn't even running the perk Surge.

  • I played as a killer for a while and I started to regret that I ever suggested this "improvement". Too many toxic survivors, they don't deserve buffs. I especially feel sorry for low rank players, because of toxic player they are getting punished A LOT no matter if they are still getting used to the game or not. Better suggestion! For the clickies if they over klick the flashlight in a short period of time the entity should either consume it, drain half or all of it's charges or temporarely disable it so the killer gets one free shot. And for the teabagging, there should be a status called "muscle cramp" where the survivor who starts teabagging should be rewarded with staying in crouch position for 10-15 seconds, so the killer can also get one free shot. Now that's balance right there. 😎

  • Had the same issue. Sometimes my perks don't appear post game as well.

  • I played with the Hag yesterday. Two survivors got stuck on that hill, knocked them both down, went to pick one of them and the hill sucked me in. So basically 2 survivors and 1 killer stuck on the hill. I managed to somehow wiggle out while carrying the survivor. But the answer is yes, you can get stuck on the hill with the Killer. I've also noticed you can rotate and crouch down as a survivor, but you can't point when stuck. The only way to get out is if the Killer knocks you down, picks you up and doesn't end up getting stuck himself. Most of the Killers abuse this so please fix this bug ASAP. The game is basically unplayable at that point, especially when a lit totem spawns there and you can't reach it at all (NOED is very problematic). I'm surprised this hasn't been patched for over 2 weeks now (my guess is all hands on deck are on the new chapter). Played on PC tho, not PS4.

  • I would have searched the threads if the search bar wasn't useless and I don't have the time to look up every single thread to see if it matches my topic.

Yeah, but it's those little things that make a difference. There was always a moment in game where I felt that I needed just a second or two to complete something or do something sucessfully or loop better, so a small buff would have helped there a lot, especially for the new players coming into the game. It could also be proportional to your rank, kinda like lower the rank, bigger the buffs. And it would bring more personality to each of the character and you could connect with them better.

Also it could be tome related. Lets say for a limited time you get a small buff to help you complete a challenge and you could progress through the rift more efficiently. But as the rift closes so to the buffs and it would be harder to complete. And the buffs change for each of the character from tome to tome. And the characters featured would get the biggest buff.

It kinda would create a survivor meta, but it's the same with killers. I rarely go againts The Plague, Legion, Deathslinger, Demogorgon and Hag and often go againts Huntress, Ghostface (too much tbh), Myres, Hillbilly and Spirit. So in a way it could sort of balance itself, force Killer mains to change strategy and try other killers for good counters. I literally hate running Spine Chill every single game cause 60% of the time I get paired with either Ghostface or Myres and I'd love to try other perks, but I always plan my build around Spine Chill cause there aren't many other perks that could sucesfully counter them. If the perks/buffs changed periodically the meta wouldn't be permanent.

  • Same thing happened to me, but not the basement hook. Got hooked by Ghostface on the 1st floor of Coldwin Farmhouse, hook teleported my body to the left so I was levitating in the air next to the porch, when rescued fell to the ground floor (Rescued from the hook, not from in the air). Also while levitating in the air I couldn't see my character.

    Survivor: William "Bill" Overbeck

Perks: Spine chill, Unbreakable, Self care, Borrowed time

Map: MacMillan Estate - Coldvin Farmhouse

    Equipment: None

    Offerings: None

    Platform: PC

  • It's not an in game problem, it's a Windows problem. Same happened to me with my XBox controller. Sometimes restart works, sometimes it doesn't. In Device Manager you have to find the Controller and either Update the Driver or either Uninstall it, let the PC detect it on it's own and reinstall it and it works like a charm again. Happens every now and then. For backup learn how to play with a keyboard when it happens in game.

  • Kinda feels like Legion on an acid trip. I think his perks are a bit OP, but to be honest I'm kinda disappointed. I like his lore, but his powers are kinda a let down because there are a lot of killers that already have a rush attack and this is just another variant of that. And I like the idea of a Mad Man driven away by his addiction but since he was so smart to develop a serum for his own powers I thought it would be better if his powers were a bit more intelligent, sort of madness meets intelligence and not endless madness of pinball play. I even wouldn't mind if this chapter gets postponed for a complete redo of his power, but give us something good. I don't want a mediocre Dr. William Birkin infected with the G virus, I want a unique killer that we can proudly call The Blight.

  • It's actually the chinese finger trap, but this one includes a building. It's not a bug, it's a feature 🤣

Joke on the side, same happened to me.

  • Yeah, same with me. I played against The Trapper, The Huntress, Freddy and Ghostface and couldn't drop the pallet when the killer was standing in it or next to it and he downed me instantly while I was smashing that space bar. This happened on Azarovs Resting Place, Badham Preschool, Pale Rose and Treatment Theater. I could only drop them at a certain angle. I've been losing my mind thinking I've become very rusty, but glad to hear it's a common problem. I'm playing on PC.

    EDIT:

I've also seen this bug happen on Ohmwreckers stream last night on twitch. This can be seen here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/712736185 between 1:03:25 - 1:03:30, but he was lucky to get the "Pull down" button to blink, to me it didn't appear at all untill I moved to a certain angle.
