Typical of this entitled generation, do a quarter of the work but expect the same pay as the person doing 4 times your output.
-
I'll have to skip all the Singularity challenges, Biopods are always EMPed before I get a chance to use them.
-
Don't take any notice of all the Survivor's long-winded versions of "get good". Go to a corner, put a weight on your W key and go get a snack and a drink, let the bully SWF play with themselves.
-
Toshio from The Grudge series.
-
Do you use a controller? Is that causing it?
-
Oh, you must mean the plus symbols! No idea, I don't have them. That is a bit weird, it's going to bug me now too.
-
The left screen has the Offering box highlighted so it's showing Offerings, you have perks selected so it's showing perks. Is that the difference you're asking about?
-
I've had it done to me as a few times as Killer and the Survivors get to play gen sim for the rest of the match.
-
SWF escapes trial! More news at 11.

-
And now you know, bots are a punishment for Killer's forcing Survivors to DC, it''s never the Survivor's fault for DCing.

clarifying and re-clarifying that SM players aren't bad people just that the killer sucks
And yet, every time I play as Skull Merchant I get abuse in end game chat. Every time. It doesn't matter that I play SM as a Stealth Killer and my games are over in 10-15 minutes, the hive mind has decided that SM players are evil and the Killer should be deleted..

Solo queue definitely needs improving. Has BHVR ever shown any statistics for how solo queue performs vs SWF? I'm genuinely curious how much of a gap there is between the two.
BVHR doesn't see a gap.
On the old forums: Peanits, September 16 2022: "To clarify something here, the difference in escape rates for SWF groups can be as much as +/- 15%, but this is at the most extreme end of the spectrum. In reality, very few players are actually in this range. The distribution of people across all ratings is like a bell curve. Most people are somewhere near the middle, very few are on either end (high or low skill). The average SWF group, which makes up the vast majority of SWF groups, has little to no discernable difference compared to solo players (within a few %)."

According to this thread Skull Merchant is the best Killer in the game, can beat any team, right?
-
BHVR balances for an overall 40% escape across everyone, not per individual. ie. for every 4 escape by a swf, 6 solos must die. Sucks to be the 6 but, hey, that's balanced on BHVR's spreadsheet..
-
Ah ok, that explains it. Except the player wasn't playing back then. Oh well, the player already has multiple steam game bans, one more won't hurt.

Shop Smart, Shop S-Mart.
-
'cause baby Surviors need their hands held.

No penaties will vastly escalate the number of DCs, this is with penalties and cake!

Somewhat underwhelming.

It is fine that Killers will get a trade against single or uncoordinated Survivors. It will at least not be an advantage like before where you had one Survivor still on the hook and the other in the Dying State.
Yeah, can't have Killers get an advantage by outplaying the poor Survivors.

Someone else just reported the same issue and received the response:
"Declined · Last Updated 8:14PM
This looks like a technical issue, if you still require assistance please ask other forum users in the Ask the Community sub section as we do not offer technical support on this forum."
@drSpockwa said:
Server crashed towards the end of the match. No points :( lost my item and add-ons :( Lost progress toward tome challenge. Sucks.
-
Same issue, but apparently we have to Ask the Community how BHVR can fix their servers.
-
-
BHVR's matchmaker doesn't work, apparently the only way to get fair matches is to train as though DBD is your job so you can beat anyone.

The performance/win rate difference is upwards of 15% per the devs. You may not consider that noticeable when it comes to the survivor win rate but I’m sure if it applied as something like, say, a subtraction to the kill rate you’d feel it.

NO hooks the entire game and you say ggwp, how did you think that would go?

@Seraphor said:
Did you already claim and then use an invitation power? I found that there seemed to be some kind of invisible cooldown to claiming them.
No, that was the first shrine I had spotted.
-
Same issue was it here on Groaning Storehouse?
-
The DBD community writ large. Wesker mains have the Anniversary event ruined for them and some of the community responses :
"i like not seeing Wesker"
"Yay! So thankful for this!"
"I'm happy"
"Good."
-
Click, not hold, gotcha thanks.
-
Sometimes you have to do what you have to do.
-
It's probably just business, AoT licence costs BHVR X per year, the numbers say they will make less than X in AoT skin sales for the next year, save that money for another new licence that will make money.
-
Got told this one the other day, not sure what they have against taxi drivers.
-
It's time to accept that the Challenges are designed by someone who does not play the game and their sidekick who only plays SWF.
-
Dark Devotion got it for me, hit the Obsession and run away from them, wait a little bit for them to find a teammate and zap them, if nothing else you hit the Obsession for one stack.
-
Awesome, only 230 days to wait!
-
"40% escape chance was the desired ratio right? Well, during my last 2 weeks i have not escaped once thanks to tunneling."
The 40% escape rate is not per player, it's across all players, for every swf team that gets all 4 escaping, 6 solos have to die. That's balance BHVR style.
-
Thanks for the pics, it looks good.
-
Waiting inside the exit gate is never nice.
-
Every time I play as SM I get comments like ew, cringe, Dull Merchant after the match.
I don't think Survivors realise that by admitting SM is annoying I just want to play her more.
-
Let me guess: the long term solution is a bar on each Gen that fills up if the Killer is within 16 metres of it and the gen is completed when the bar is full.
Close?
-
What is that Survivors say all the time? Oh yeah:
"It’s not an issue. Don’t play a game for adults and not be able to take it"
"If you can't handle it, go cry in a corner."
"Grow a thicker skin."
"f it makes you angry, the problem is yours"
"you are doing something that encourages BM towards you."
"I never understood why you should mald over someone pressing a button"
"its literally just pixels on a screen going up and down. idk why it gets people so butthurt"
-
On a scale of pointless annoying changes, it's right up there.
-
"killer mains in favour of removing them"
Right, "killer" mains.
-
It's just banter they said.
-
Matchmaking. Games are all stomp or be stomped, it's super rare to think after the game "that could have gone either way".
-
I'm leaning towards SM being one of my mains, she makes Hexes viable again and having Survivors DC or give up early is a nice side bonus.
-
If you want to see less of Killer A, you need to support buffs to Killer B.
