want to know why crouching doesnt make you invincible to the alien? because it isnt nemesis. quit using other killers power counters on other killers expecting it to work
-

Bruh xeno needs a buff to runner mode not a nerf considering how strong the counterplay is against him. If they end up nerfing him goodbye to him indeed
he will, I can't tell you how many survivors iv seen complain about him because hes able to hit fast and over things lol

Trade you an alien balance for MFT balance.
alien is balanced, mft isnt lmao
-
its a bug with many killers AND survivors. they cannot Killswitch anything since its basically everywhere. its just something they have to fix fast

Yet we see people complaining about it. BHVR themselves said they do not want to punish killers for the survivors' mistakes but here we are with another post that demands 3 gens get nerfed.
theyre changing 3 gens and they also added a perk that punishes the killer for the survivor's mistake (made for this.) Whoever said that either lied or got fired lmao
-
thats what iv been saying. there has been no devlog and im not sure why. I personally think there just is no big changes (or changes at all other than what was in ptb) worth a devlog
-
unfortunately, no. you can sit afk though and theyll rush gens and leave unlike actual players who'll sit there trying to bother you for 15 minutes straight.
-
for me its early in the morning. survivors are hard sweating at this time.
-
yes. either make it into a basekit mechanic or perk. they should also add something thatll block the exit if the survivor stays inside of the gate for more than 20 seconds. thatll fix the "watch me leave" mentality survivors have
-
personally, his emps are fine. But his cameras are so jank (sometimes they wont shoot onto something or they wont even track anyone even though youre looking at them), it takes a bit to track/teleport to someone, and his overclock runs out too fast. this makes him miserable to play as
-
personally gens. i wish there were more objectives to escape. that or totems since totems aren't impactful by themselves.
-
yes. imo the devs should either add a base kit mechanic or perk that'll block the exit if the survivor stays near it for maybe more than 20 seconds.

I highly recommend taking advantage of the fact you do have the option to run 3 different loadouts on one killer to at least give yourself a quick swap where you can dump the perk you're in love with the least for Lightborn.
If you see a team with 3 or 4 flashlights and walk into that without it, you kind of deserve what you get at this point. It's clear they're never going to take away the Epilepsy Gun so just work with what you've got.
how do I "deserve what i get" when survivors can switch to a whole bully loadout at last second? I cannot tell if a survivor squad is planning on doing that and since its 1 second you physically cannot switch fast enough. if I just sit on my loadout 2 button I still won't know if they're going to do it. if i try to just predict it beforehand I might as well just be making a new loadout once I join the lobby
-
but survivors are able to switch to their best loadout at last second so it kind of contradicts itself
-
made for this is more balanced than old dh and current made for this is hardcore broken lol
-
it won't destroy dbd. itll be popular for about a week or so and then go back to normal when the alien chapter comes out
-
its dbd, majority of survivors in this game are babies because bhvr pampered them for the past few years lol it mainly started when the meta shakeup patch went out and they buffed killers
-
its not op
-
the fast vaults arent "matching," people are getting invincible half way through the vault and being slung half a meter out. people are getting fast vaults from the dumbest angles and speeds, so they do NOT need this
-
i hope not
-
yes they should. they need to revert the window buff, nerf windows of opportunity, nerf mft, and make it so haste perks in general do not stack
-
@Pulsar said:
That's called ping
so ping lets you unhook while doing different actions now got it
-
do yall STILL not know how the mmr works? it does not care how long youve played. what matters is a rating which we cannot see and changes every match
-
just say you want to go flying half a meter for pressing a button
-
yes. mft should be nerfed first
-
later today. normally this stuff goes live around 10am - 12pm. I can't promise anything since this is a big chapter.
-
im not surprised. overbuffed vaults, mft (a broken perk) and multiple other perks that just continue to give survivors endurance.

There's middle ground between nightfall being a joke and being painful.
Okay the second something gets media attention or starts trending on social media they spring into action. And just last patch the motion sickness claims caused Bhvr to immediately revert a bug fix
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3505395#Comment_3505395
Yeah if it's physically painful it should be adjusted. Not sure why this is controversial. They can buff Dredge in other ways that don't literally give you a headache.
so you literally just want to see through a killer's main power simply because its "painful"
-
the dredges power is literally to obstruct vision lol you want the devs to just add an option in the settings so you can see through it?
-
personally, recommend Sadako, play with your food, nemesis, and game afoot.
Sadako because she can ignore bodyblockers
play with your food because sadako can end chases with her power (even though you're still in a chase) which will give a stack on play with your food (you can use this up to 3 times so youll be moving at an extra 15 speed)
game afoot so you get 5+ haste every time you break a pallet
and nemesis so your obsession will be whoever stuns you.
if you tunnel your obsession, you should have 10+ speed every time. looping and body blockers wont be a problem.
the 4th perk I recommend gridlock to stall everyone, but I use shadowborn because I can't play without it lol
-
i love when the survivor is basically invincible to m1 half way through a fast vault

Minor correction, but they've *convinced themselves* that MfT is hurting their wins. Sprint burst and lithe are objectively better, and anyone arguing otherwise has to ignore every base kit killer ability and bloodlust over 30+ second chases to try and 'prove' otherwise.
It's the same thing as prove thyself, before the recent nerf. Some killers were absolutely convinced that a perk that saves roughly 7 seconds when optimally used is losing them games.
It isn't. They can 100% improve in chase, run loops tighter, or, entity forbid, do anything other than follow the survivor's exact pathing and kick every pallet on cooldown.
Anyone complaining this much about MfT is somewhere between 'inefficient' to 'incapable of using the base killer kit', including bloodlust and nearly every killer power. At best, they have room to improve, at worst they need to not play the game with their feet and expect the devs to nerf literally everything for them. Either way it's not a perk issue.
bloodlust is almost useless with this perk because since the game is not balanced with survivors moving like this the game considers the chase done with even though you're still looping which will disable bloodlust.

If only killers that run at reduced speeds had some reason they moved slower - like, I don't know, some sort of ranged attack or blink ability that makes movement speed less of an issue in the first place?
good luck trying to even get line of sight to throw something lol

If the advice “Chase someone else if you don’t want to go up against MFT” holds true, then perhaps Killers should be notified if the Survivor has MFT? If the Killer is going to figure it out eventually anyway then letting the Killer know beforehand wouldn’t change much.
chasing someone else doesnt do much. like old dead hard when people said chase someone else. if I leave one person because of it and someone else has it you want me to leave them too? then if someone else has it what about them? plus if the survivor sees you're avoiding the chase with them too much theyll get cocky and intentionally try to make your life hell. I don't see how notifying could help the killer in anyway other than for them to know the survivor is being carried by MFT
-
@RpTheHotrod said:
The community let them know with a lot of feedback that this was a broken perk on the PTB, but it ended up going live unchanged. I seriously don't think BHVR is that incompetent, so I'm thinking their balance team is on summer vacation and a B team is in place. It seriously is a blatant issue for m1 killers. It causes infinites, and some loops break enough LOS to stop chases, so bloodlust isn't occuring.
they are listening. they replied to someone on twitter saying "they have a change for it just in case it is a problem in live release" theyre just blatantly not wanting to touch it
-
bascially now unless you're a ranged killer and they fast vault just know they're invincible halfway through it lol i think the devs should revert this until they fix fast vaults in general (people are getting fast vaults at the dumbest angles, speed, and while theyre kissing the vault)
-
because survivors dont run the game like they used to so their solution is to quit.

sorry but everything you say is immediately invalidated when you start with "all the content creators/fog whisperers are saying x!"
- not all of them are saying this
- what's your point?
this game isn't like an FPS where we would want to listen to the feedback of pros. this game doesn't even have pros. it's an RNG party game.
I said numerous not all

My god... its like watching a political debate.. The republicans are wrong.. no the democrats are wrong.. those dems/reps always get favors... Jeez. The devs do not favor the survivors and MFT is not that strong. 3% is barely anything, but its fun as a survivor to think you are moving a bit faster. 10% with hope at end of game... well then they would have needed to have HOPE, which is 7% by itself... I think you'd be complaining about these survivors with HOPE, whether or not they had MFT.
Anyways, I know this is a one-sided thread and you won't like my input here. Feel free to ignore it, except for the fact that the devs don't favor survivors and this argument needs to stop. The devs make countless mistakes on both sides every time they do updates. This happens for both sides. Feel free to play another game, maybe that would show 'em.
hope only activates at endgame. not the entire match
-
i actually like it tbh
-
imo the singularity should teleport a bit faster and have more overclock. his overclock lasts a bit too short rn

@sanees said:
remember that thanatophobia got a 2% buff. But the crying of the survivors, and perk that encouraged active play and not camping was destroyed from 5.5 per hit, to 2% per hit
the perk that encourages good playstyle as an killer was destroyed in 1 week
the completely broken mft that requires nothing and combines with other attrition perks has no nerfs for months
the devs survivor bias will be the death of the game.
-
@Seraphor said:
Jesus, the melodrama over this perk.
I main Ghostface and Pig, and I don't have a problem with MFT. It's no better than Sprint Burst, and I have more trouble with Sprint Burst as a non-chase power killer.
You can make as many threads as you like, they can't acknowledge a problem that doesn't exist.
sprint burst isnt borderline permanent.

I think its pretty wild that when Survivors get agitated by a perk, its nerfed swiftly within months. But if Killers are agitated by a perk its held off or ignored for years before its even approached for a fix. You would think as the sole person responsible for the gameplay for 4 people every match, the Killer would have a sweeter deal in this game. But no, bHVR is always squeezing those lemons sour.
If how the players on the receiving end think of them is even up for discussion, then Where is the Killer perks that are as agitating to Survivors as MFT are to Killers? Cause I don't see them and this game should treat both sides fairly right?
The least idd like to hear from bHVR is why the latest Killer perks has not entered the meta, like all the Survivor perks that have entered the meta like uhm... huh... hum... well, the last Killer Meta Perk was from Knight, I hope we get lucky from Alien then, jeez.
im just saying last time survivors complained about a killer perk it was nerfed at the next big patch I believe (overcharge and call of brine.) but the devs are saying they dont see anything wrong with made for this and its been almost a whole chapter now with alot of people complaining about it. survivors have complained about tunneling, camping and 3 gens so theyre getting basekit gameplay changes yet when killers ask for a beginning game collapse to help with gens it gets discarded and called "boring" by the devs.
-
@NerfThis said:
Correct, in fact they really nerfed Sadako, since Nerfs>Buffs, and we have to see all the add ons since devs said they're gonna rework them.
well a killer shouldnt have to rely on addons to be good.. especially Sadako. i dont know what the devs are thinking

Okay, so it's a desync issue instead of a hitbox issue. Why does that matter?
because they need to fix their servers and desync issues. not attempt to mess with a whole hitbox
-
a more important question is how come the killer can still be stunned even if the survivor is fully out of the locker
-
@Hex_Llama said:
Yeah, I had this happen to me the other day and it does feel kind of BS to fully jump through the window and then somehow teleport back through the window and get slammed into it. I don't know if it's a hitbox issue or something else but, regardless of what the cause is, it's not good.
its a desync issue, its the same issue where survivors will get hit by regular killers after they vault. its not a hitbox issue
-
@HugTheHag said:
I don't mind getting grabbed while vaulting.
I mind when I'm fully, two feet on the ground, at least a meter away from the window
And somehow get teleported back to get slammed on the window that I vaulted a full second before
A lunge would not have gotten that, but Wesker did
ping/desync issue. iv seen survivors get hit past the vault from lunges aswell. on the killer screen it shows the survivor way closer to the window most of the time
-
no because it doesnt matter. its a game of made up killers and survivors. that should be the least of yours and bhvrs worries
