Yes, insta mori with an addon that prevents you from getting tier 3 until every last survivor is out of the exit gates. Insta down is strong and can cut down chases(which is the only option for Michael) but he suffers from the same problems that every 115% speed m1 killer does. Additionally, he needs to build up that tier 3, and for that he needs to give up chases early on. So unlike other killers he won't be getting many hits in early game(especially until tier 2). And now you'll ask, well, if Michael is not great, how is Freddy better? Freddy slows down the game tremendously. Many tunnel with Freddy, and that, in my estimation, is a big mistake. Freddy should pull someone in a dream, hit them upon transition(which is almost guaranteed, unless they find a vaulting spot you can't work around) and move on. You break any pellets they dropped and move on. Even if you didn't get a hit but they're running towards the next looping location, you break the chase and move on. You prioritize breaking gens over chasing for a long time as well. You will ask, how is that even remotely better than Michael? At least he can get kills! Freddy has an amazing map control. His power allows him to know exactly where you are after he broke chase, and if you're on a gen - he will know. If someone's waking you up and healing you, that's even better because he pull both of the people straight back into the dream world and get a hit on one. Now it's either two injured people in the dream state or one in a dream state and one hook. If it's the first case, wouldn't the logical thing to be chasing after the injured ones? NO. You turn around and patrol gens, and find the others. You pull them in, get hits, break gens, break pallets. Meanwhile the rest are not working on gens but trying to wake up and heal each other. You probably heard this a lot from Freddys, but I cannot stress it enough how important it is to always pull people into the dream world. You need to walk around and constantly using your power and pull every chance you get. This is the reason range add-ons are a godsend. As the game progresses, you will see less pallets and more opportunities to commit to a chase(be careful with committing though), and therefore will get more hooks. By the time there is one gen left(most of times the game will not reach this point) you need to lead the game into a 3 gen. By this time you will probably have at least one or two survivors sacrificed, but if somehow you got curb stomped and didn't sacrifice anyone you still have a chance to win with a 3 gen strat. Freddy is the best 3 gen killer, better even than the doctor. It is incredibly difficult to win against a competent 3 gen Freddy, and even impossible in some cases(Had a game on Haddonfield when 3 gens were left, 2 in houses right across the road from each other with only ONE access point to both, and one in the middle of the road with three access points). It may take a while to win for Freddy, but it will happen, eventually. In conclusion, Freddy is incredible at slowing the game down to the point where his weaknesses are negated.
P.S. I didn't intend to write nearly as much as I did. I also looked at just how much I wrote here, and realized there is a TON more I can say about playing Freddy... I was planning to write a guide for him at some point, but I am kind of busy right now, and I don't have time to play and get to rank 1. I'll try to get that done in several weeks though, when I don't have as much stuff to do.

Not everything that you dislike is broken, toxic, cheep, or any other go-to word in this community. Maybe you just need to

I think it should be made that if you're within three meters to the survivor, their dying meter doesn't deplete, unless they're the last survivor, in which case they're sacrificed immediately. If you're outside of that range but still within ten meters the dying meter depletes as normal, but get slower the longer you're in that range, and the speed doesn't "refresh" if you walk out of the range and go back in.

I'm not going to try to change your mind, since I get 4k's every game and got to rank 4 before the rank reset just with Freddy. Yes, 4k's every game on purple ranks. I find that people just play Freddy the opposite of how he is supposed to be played, and then complain that he is weak. I also find that other Killers like Trapper, Leatherface, Michael, Clown, and Amanda are weaker than him and have harder time in matches against competent survivors.

I'm getting flashbacks to a post about a month ago (maybe less) asking the same thing. There is one simple reason. If each Survivor had a different ability, if you wanted to play a specific Survivor, if they were seen as worse than any of the others, you would be shouted at by your team to change to someone better, they would purposefully look for you and lead the Killer to you, and if you got hooked, they would not save you. And if they did, it would be to farm you. All because you didn't follow the meta.
My solution to make all Survivors unique: just equip different perks for each one. Problem solved.
Highly doubt that would happen, especially if the bonuses each survivor got were minuscule and pretty much equally useful. For example, one survivor could be doing gens 5% faster(5% of a gen is 4 seconds, or roughly 2 great skill checks), one survivor could run 2% faster, the other could vault 5% faster, etc. Changes like would be pretty much unnoticeable, unless in a very specific situation.

That would be something... Though I had an idea of something similar. An ultra-rare secret offering that would spawn one survivor in the killer's terror radius. It's not too broken, since only one spawns close to the killer, and it will also add another secret offering for killer besides the ones we already have.

Agreed. It makes no sense for it stop working after a player dies + it does need a slight buff.

What do you mean "get lilted"?He means "tilted," it was a typo.
I disagree with your idea of harshness. I think disconnects should be punished because they ruin the game for everyone, and it's entirely fair to give those players a time-out. Taking away bloodpoints will never be implemented because there are too many problems with a system like that( for example not everyone will care/what if they have 0 bloodpoints?/etc.). I do think that you should be able to skip through the long cinematic in the end if you're the one being sacrificed, it would be a nice QoL improvement, though it shouldn't be a top priority change.

Teabagging is NOT different in DBD from other games. Teabagging is a way to bully and humiliate a person in games, so its just as bad as bullying people in real life. Everyone knows that. It's disrespectful, there is no other opinion about that. Maybe survivor can use to each other for communication, but against the opponent is a way to provoke and then to bully and humiliate him. This is its meaning. And this is bad. Teabagging is ban worthy. Devs usually dont ban people for teabagging because they feel they cant ban someone for "crouching", sometimes (sadly) they endorse these kind of behavior. Which is a bad thing. You literally cannot teabag in dbd, because teabagging is crouching on top of the opponent's dead body, first of all. Also, people need to stop being triggered by crap like this, it is pathetic. I don't always use crouching to humiliate, and most of the time I don't. I use it in ways described in the post. But if you're triggered by a survivor pressing the crouch button repeatedly, maybe you need to go play some Civ 5.

Survivors don't have to work together, it's not a requirement. Survivors may chose to work together and should most of the time if their goal is to win, but there are also situations where screwing other players up raises your own chances of winning. Apart from that, if you're being screwed by your teammates - play smart. If they bodyblocked you or sandbagged you on purpose - don't save them/farm them. Get gens done while they're being chased. Stay immersed so the killer doesn't see you. DBD isn't a team game. It can be played like one, but it's not one. Figure out yourself what's best for your own survival and act accordingly.

Laurie Stroke. Best girl, and I really like Halloween.

I wouldn't DC because I never do, but, honestly, this build is straight up cancer and I'm not surprised they DC'd. Iridescent heads are bad enough, but bringing an infantry belt basically removes the disadvantage of bringing the heads. In addition, you brought an ebony mori. If you don't want to make a game at least somewhat fun for survivors - fine, play however you want. But don't be surprised when they DC against you.
-
You can, if you want, no one can tell you how to play the game as long as you're not breaking the rules. Camping is looked down upon, because, against competent survivors, you're basically just forfeiting the game to other three survivors just to make the game unpleasant to the camped one. Looping is okay because it's the only counter play that survivors can use. Looping properly takes actual skill and is usually exhilarating for both sides, but when a killer facecamps it usually makes makes the game unfun for both the camped one and the camper. This is how I look at it.

Dying Light is already a pretty weak perk, that would only nerf it further since you can never get the full 25%, unless you kill all 4 survivors and win the game.
