I think that is honestly my biggest issue in the game is gen repair speed. Nothing like having 3 or 4 gens pop before you spot the first survivor.

The Clown DLC is coming out for the consoles, they are just waiting for Microsoft and Sony to certify the patch. Also, please turn off the caps lock and maybe try paragraphs.

Sales taxes in the US are state by state so it varies. The state I am in has a 7.5% sales tax. Also, I was just asking if the price was including VAT. If it included VAT, I could understand, if it didnt, that just sucks.

@MineAntoiya Its sadly the only thing we have over pc. I think the only time I actually get worked up is when my wife is playing and someone sends a particularly nasty message. Beyond that, I let it go or block the person.

Lets be honest, most people who are toxic do not consider themselves toxic. Also from what I have seen, most who post here do not support the toxic behavior. I do not think you are going to get the responses you are seeking.

The FPS issue honestly is a bigger issue for killers than survivors but it does cause some major headaches for survivors. My opinion, the vaulting is probably the biggest issue FPS causes survivors. I could go through a laundry list of issues the FPS causes killers.

@Asssthetic One of the points of having different killer styles is for survivors to have to adept and overcome each type of killer. The Doctor being anti-stealth, trying to play a stealth game against him is not going to work. If someone pallet loops me while I am playing the Doctor, I walk away. Good ol Herman is just horrible with looping. I wont waste my time with a looper against him. So no, I do not get mad if a survivor tries to loop when I play the Doctor. I expect it and adjust accordingly. When playing against the Doctor, you will not be stealthy, expect it and adjust accordingly.

I think if there was a way to help increase the tension in game, make it feel like escape is more uncertain, it would help the horror feel. Instead of heartbeat, perhaps something creepy and unique for each killer, that gets louder the closer they get. Some killer like the Doctor or Leatherface, increase the terror radius. Other killers like the Wraith, Myers or the Huntress, greatly decrease or remove the terror radius. Make the games more unpredictable.

That has nothing to do with console though, you are describing lagg (maybe try connecting your console via LAN)
That specific issue does sound like lag, but there is a known framerate issue on the consoles and it does cause the vault to be a bit glitchy.

That is why I dont watch any streams until the DLC is released on console. I want to figure it out on my own. I love the learning curve. That is why I have not watched any of the PTB streams. The only one I watched was for the cosmetic shop, no gameplay.

The biggest issue with both consoles at this time is frame rate. This causes huge issues with vaulting, pallet drops, hit boxes, 360s and other things.
As for wait times, I have seen no issue with wait times for me. My wife is a survivor main and the longest she waits is maybe 5 minutes to get into a lobby and this is on the PS4. I cannot speak for Xbone.

I am a killer main. Looping will not be removed from the game just like camping will not. It is a viable tactic just as camping is. Both suck for the opposing player. This is just me personally but I have no issue with a looper. I see a survivor beginning a loop, I walk off and find someone else to terrorize.I just do not take the bait. It is rather funny how often a looper will try to bait you into a loop after you ignore them and make a mistake and bam, down they go.

None of those sadly would ever occur but damn, that would be amazing if they did. It would certainly change the dynamics of the game greatly

I think it depends on how you approach the game. I do not play it competitively anymore, and since I went to a more casual play-style, the terror in the game as increased. I would say its certainly more of a horror game than other similar titles

Its an anonymous forum for a video game. People are going to over react and say stupid things from time to time. It occurs. Your posts in this thread has made it seem that all this forum is is a raging pit of hatred and anger. One post leads to a swarm of venom. It isnt and not even close to it.

@Fre_Shavacado0 Probably because not everyone is hostile, nor is every thread hostile. There are several threads that do get a bit testy to borderline fist fight, but that is far from the common.
You did kinda spew crazy stuff. For the most part, this forum is very chill, esp considering it is for a game and how downright vile the steam and reddit communities for DBD are. The mod staff has kept things pretty controlled and honestly, the members of this forum has done a decent job policing themselves and keeping things calm. Some of us actually take pride in the fact we do not behave like they do in the steam and reddit communities.

I cant say the emblem system is a failure or not for a very simple reason, I do not care. I figured out a while ago in various games, rankings tell two stories, how good you are and how much you play. I have a bad habit of being ultra competitive when a game first comes out and play a lot and get up in rank. Then I realize how much time I spend, slow down my play time, and my rankings drop dramatically. I did the same with DBD. I know solely play to enjoy myself, and have fun.

This forum is for the most part, actually rather positive for a gaming forum. Outside of a few exceptions, most arguments have been somewhat civil, though very heated. It is still so much better than steam or reddit.

Being a die hard Halloween fan (we shall not speak of the abomination Rob Zombie created), I love this trailer and it has me extremely excited for the new film. I love the fact they made it a direct sequel of the first. They closed all the plot holes the sequels created. Highly looking forward to it.

I never saw the shack as anything close to an infinite loop. Its perfect for mind games. I personally love getting someone in the shack because to me, its one of the few places on the map where I can control the action as compared to the survivor. It forces them with options to make and you can force them to choose the option you want.

No matter the rank honestly, in the end it depends on the mistakes of the survivor. If they play smart, they typically survive. If they make stupid mistakes, they die. I was extremely competitive when I first started, constantly within the top 5 ranks each month. Then the grind of the lack of balance started to get to me. I went to a more casual game style (also my wife killer does not help out my pips). I think in the last 3 months, the highest rank I hit was 9. The balance was killing my desire to be competitive, now I just play and enjoy. That is honestly rather sad.

There are a lot of games that release patches and DLCs on pc before console. This is nothing new and its not a slap in the face. While many games will hold off pc release until they get console cert, does not mean they have to or should. I see no problems with PC getting the release first.

Honestly, the rankings mean very little. Best to practice against a variety of opponents, realize you will lose more than you win and enjoy the ride.

I would say for patrolling, Hillbilly, Trapper and Hag. For the traditional camping, Leatherface with insideous and Wraith.

I have used a similiar tactic before, though I switched to treatment mode with one gen left. I usually get a 3k at least running this way with at least 1k before they to the last gen.

Depending on the DLC price, I will probably buy it. I do not mind buying the DLCs. The cosmetics, yeah that is going to be purely in game

I think this little bump would be helpful for the Doctor, though I would rather see a 5% bump and leave the add ons as they are.
Side note, running the Doctor with no add ons while a bit of a pain is also extremely amusing. Survivors are expecting range extension add ons, madness add ons. When there is nothing being ran, they tend to get confused. it is as if they know they are supposed to have all these effects hit them but nothing is happening. Almost as entertaining as running with add ons. Just my experience
