It's because those are DBD chara not licensed characters. Any new outfits for License Characters need to be approved by the License Holder and I assume some money has to change hands in some way shape or form....
So I guess I'm not seeing Cheryl in hotpants in my lifetime :(

I mean skins for Cheryl, not another character. It seems that some survivors like Claudette, Meg, Dwight get a new outfit every few months.

For the people who didn't check your screens, this may sound like 1/3 of the killers were campers, which is actually not. One was endgame camping, which is ok in my opinion, 2 of 4 other proxy campers did it occasionally which may be reasonable to apply pressure, especially since they were not tunneling.

Downed Meg while she was vaulting the window on the second floor, and immediately last gen is done and Meg runs away on Adrenaline. Not a tragedy, but I was a newbie and didn't know about this perk, so I looked for her for a straight half minute, while she was healing at the exit gates :(

I have had plenty of games where the killer lets me or one of my team escape. Fact is that if killers let survivors escape the numbers are skewed. If you can't understand that logic then you should go back to school. Ultra rare situations please, I played for a few hours yesterday with some friends and in 4 games the killer let someone escape. It sounds like you are mad, kinda sad to get mad over facts tbh.
Naah, my friend, I understand that you must think that school is enough, but I would recommend you to enter university or at least college, where you will learn some basics of statistics and the law of large numbers.

There have been multiple comments on this thread of people saying that in multiple games they let full groups of survivors escape. Unless these people are lying to troll the post. Letting survivors escape just skews the metrics and puts them in a higher MMR than they probably should be in which could ruin their gaming experience because they are being paired with higher skilled killers.
Yeah, and also there have been multiple comments that weren't written here because people don't give a #########, they just play DBD and do 4k. I played hundreds of games and only in few killers let all survivors escape. How many such games did you have? I'm assuming it's you who is trolling here, because you must understand that these ultra-rare situations when killers let survivors escape don't make the difference.

You can't be serious about the numbers, and if you are - I press F.
The amount of killers that let survivors escape is so small that it can't affect statistics in any way. Through my 650h in-game, where I play 75% as a survivor, I haven't met totally friendly killers, which want to farm or just let anyone escape even 10 times. I played nearly 20 games for the last 2 days and only one killer let the last survivor escape. So the situations where I let survivors escape as a killer, or give the killer free kill are just a statistical error because 99.99% of the playerbase play for the win.

I always let 4 survivors escape if they weren't toxic, so I guess that's because of me killers were buffed, sorry guys :(

Now I play without meta perks, don't control gens, don't camp, don't tunnel, just play for 4 BBQ stacks, doing the challenge, giving max 2 hooks per surv, and then let everyone escape. This is the only way I'm not stressed anymore. And still survs are toxic as hell even when I had a chance to kill them a few times but let them live.

My friend is laggy as hell on PS4. Every time he's unhooked the game freezes for a few seconds and he can't do anything. Also sometimes he doesn't see other players movements including the killer, they just stop when actually moving.

Same. I played for the first time after the chapter release today, I was using yellow medkit with Bandages (8 extra charges) and Butterfly Tape (slightly increases healing speed). Fully depleted the medkit and it was not enough for the second heal, like it was 1 charge missing. It happened at least 5 times in different matches.

look, the lunge was nice, but its not unplayable without the extra 0,25. seriously, i have been playing Wraith since i started playing dbd around the time of the silent hill update, and even then, without true invicibility, the speed nor the extra speed boost, his playstyle was the same. i seriously dont mind this.
You do know Wraith's speed before was 2ms while uncloaking, not 1.6ms, right? And now he's even worse than before.

"The recent buffs to the Wraith have exceeded our expectations, we decided that we may have overtuned him a tiny bit - therefore we're adjusting a problematic addon and reducing his post-uncloak lunge speed to what it was before his last buff. We will continue to monitor him going forward."

Right, overtuned him by reducing his uncloaking speed from 2ms to 1.6ms and thus making his biggest weakness - chase - even bigger.

I'm tired of this matchmaking or MMR or what in the hell it is.
I played 3 games yesterday, I'm rank 8, and guess how many purple ranks I faced during those games? Zero. The first game was against red ranks who destroyed me, the second game was against ranks 16-17 where I destroyed them, and the third game was against red ranks with one rank 13.
The funniest (no) thing about it is that red rank killers are also facing purple rank survivors. Looks like a pretty simple equation to me to pair players properly

Well, just moments ago I was in the lobby where 2 players were SWF for sure, 3rd has 3.3k hours in game, and 4th has 6.5k hours. I have 90 hours. WHY IS PLAYING KILLER MUCH MORE STRESSFUL I DON'T KNOW

I personally enjoy him as a hit'n'run killer. I use BBQ, Sloppy, Nurses, and Bamboozle/Thanatophobia. Sometimes I use "Blind Warrior" instead of Sloppy.
Actually, he has quite a variety of addons that can be combined in different builds. "Shadow Dance" + "The Serpent" + Brutal Strength is so fun.
But his "Coxcombed Clapper" + "All Seeing" - Blood is his strongest combo imo, especially on small maps.

I had the issue with this update. Steam also donwloaded 86.1 mb and stuck, after some time I shut down and relaunch Steam, it figured out to launch the game after ~10 min of unpacking. But then I expirienced error in game as it said that some of my files are corrupted. I cleared Steam download cache and then executed verification of integrity of game files and then Steam downloaded additional 1 gb of content.

How this matchmaking is fine? I believe all these guys were red ranks before rank reset. I have 80 hours and my opponent in that match has 6k. Is this my problem that there are not enough red rank killers at the moment? I want to play with my ranks.
