You could always take one for the team and test your theories with your account. ;)
But, seriously, I don't think anyone will be able to tell you the specifics unless they work for BHVR, and I don't think they are going to want to give out too many specifics.
As the commenters above me implied, the whole point is to get you to stop DCing. They don't want you to be a rules lawyer and figure out exactly how many games you can safely dodge…

There are challenges in the tome besides "Throw a snowball at someone" and "Build a snowman". Some require us to actually try to kill the survivors.

Yeah, before the Skull Merchant nerfs, these forums were full of survivors with balanced, fair takes
-
You only had one sore winner. The others that said anything were just whining because they died. Take the W and ignore them.
I get that teabaggers can be annoying, but the game right before "Now annoyed" didn't even have that! You just lost. Then you played a series of games that were sweaty (by your own admission!) but when the players (that you just dominated) point that out, it gets under your skin?
Also, if I had a SWF kill themselves for the memes, I would just laugh and take the BP. I'm not saying your annoyance was "wrong" but different people react to memes differently. For example, you tunneled 1 guy out and he got mad. But in a later match, you took 1k for your pip and they were cool with it.
If you don't think that first guy had any right to complain, despite the fact that he died, then I would argue when the SWF does it to you (memes, but throws in the end) you have EVEN LESS right to complain, given you won 100%. How were they supposed to know they weren't facing ME, who would have laughed along with it?
If you care about outcomes, then take the 4k. If you care more about civility, then stop taking 1k for your pips.
If you want to split the difference, that's cool, but don't act surprised when survivors didn't get the memo that you had changed builds/strats.

Someone on the forums: "Thrill isn't a problem"
*Otz and Hens, with 10s of thousands of hours between them saying it's busted, exist*

now the question is: are these problems with the game or problems with the players?
Game
They keep releasing perks that are more and more powerful (because why would they charge for perks that are WEAKER than what's already in the game?) and killers that are more powerful (Dracula is just Spirit with 2 extra powers) so you either go full meta or get stomped.
If they were creative and could think of NEW powers for killers to have, or NEW things for perks to modify, this wouldn't be a problem. But every perk is just more aura reading, more gen regression, faster vaults, etc…
-
a tunneling killer does'nt stop tunneling just because you're still injured or healthy.
Wait, you said healing doesn't change hook states. Neither do DS and OTR. A tunneling killer doesn't stop tunneling just because you DSed them or because you are quiet for 80s.
-
every match were draws and losses bar 3
It's weird that you're losing enough to complain, but you're still facing "strong efficient survivors". You don't get to that point by losing. The survivor complaints are justified, just not by those "cream of the crop" players. They're justified by the 75%+ 4ks (see Scott Jund's latest video) that you had to get to this point.
-
I'd like to see kill rates broken down by MMR and number of players in parties, on a per-Killer basis. And I'd like to see disconnects factored in (since they absolutely count when it comes to player enjoyment).
In fact, I'd like to see disconnect rates broken down the same way. Also, tell us how many generators were completed per 3-4K.
I don't think anyone from BHVR is flat out lying, but I guarantee they won't share stats that make them look bad…
-
Because if we wait for BHVR to address the "Survivor sucks" issue, the game will die from frustrated players quitting. The assumption is that someone playing Killer cares more about the survival of the game than the devs seem to, and they will be somewhat sympathetic.
That might be a bad assumption, but do you want them to play a different game??
-
Franklin's Demise
At LEAST let White Ward prevent the item loss upon death.
Or give survivors a perk to deactivate Killer's add-ons or cancel out Black Ward
-
when you’re at high mmr
…then you're clearly not losing enough to complain.
-
I'll be sure to run this broken combo in all the extra perk slots I have left after being forced to bring 3+ perks because I don't have comms.
Another issue where solo q gets #########
-
The problem is: A killer could alternate between 2Ks and 3Ks and have an "acceptable" 62.5% killrate, never once suffering a major loss.
But if you die as Survivor, it feels like like a 20-0 blowout, and in this "acceptable" scenario, that's happening for the MAJORITY of the playerbase.

I'll be on the lookout for killers running 25 perks
You have to play around the perks as if the killer has them, because you can't see their loadout. hth

This is amazing! Thank you so much!
-
This will help SWFs more than solo queue. Hard pass.

>Deaf people are essentially playing with 5 stacks of Huntress Lullaby at all times
>You can't "abuse" an accessibility feature that doesn't give you new information.
I like how every time someone suggests a change, we have to spend the entire first page correcting people who chime in without understanding the issue.
-
That sounds really sketch, ngl
-
It wouldn't be SO bad if you could walk away, get a drink, and come back to the Main Menu.
Instead, you come back to "Press any button" but THEN you have to wait for it to load even more AND remember to press a button AGAIN to skip the seizure warning AND AGAIN to skip the cinematic.
And then it loads more, and then you have to wait for the menu animation to finish…
-
I'd prefer you throw and let us win every time.
Why do you care what the other team thinks?

People can be d*cks. Don't let it get you so angry that you start posting on BHVR's forums.
We're too far gone, but there's still time to save yourself.
-
There's no good reason a survivor shouldn't want a free win every once in awhile.
There's no good reason why a killer shouldn't want additional options.
There is literally no good reason to oppose this suggestion.
-
Addendum:
If you CAN'T come up with anything better, please don't let that prevent you from mouthing off AT ALL.
Do not deny us the comedy
-
I wish I could just "Not a bug" my clients and ignore what they want. Is BHVR hiring? I'm tired of programming "working code" and "satisfying my customers".

These are some hefty assumptions without any data reference.
" This creates an MMR bias where weaker killers will be much less likely to REACH high mmr."
There has never been, at least to my knowledge, any data released about killer distribution over MMR. We don't see MMR either. These are assumptions stacked on assumptions
I'm not sure "weaker killers will have a lower average MMR" is that outrageous of an assumption, but your point about BHVR not being transparent enough with their stats is good
-
This is a good idea, so it won't happen.
Ask yourself: Who asked for the Mori changes? Who asked to nerf SM or Distortion?
Now look at what people ARE asking for. Are they making THOSE changes…? Or ignoring them?
-
It has exactly as many players as it deserves.
-
I'm the weirdo who actually LIKES doing the bloodweb, and I 100% support all of these suggestions
-
Let them know in the survey. I gave them terribly low scores.
-
I'm with you, but "reducing the killrate" to 50% isn't the answer because Killers aren't the problem.
The problem is SWFs. Don't punish the wrong players.
-
I'll be sure to remove the trap I can't see until it's too late.
Or are we supposed to just crouch-walk everywhere, the entire match? She can see you're going for the unhook and will race over there. What's the next step of your plan?
-
It should be like Dead Hard, where you hit E and it activates for, say, 3s. During that window, if your aura is blocked, it stays blocked for the duration of the aura read (assuming it's timed and not a Scratched Mirror or something).
See a hook about to happen, and you think they have BBQ? Burn a token. Killer about to kick a gen, and you think they have NTH? Burn a token.
I would also get rid of the notification that lets you know it worked. That way, it's less useful for SWFs, and it retains the risk/reward aspect of using one "just in case".
It wouldn't work against Nurse's or I'm All Ears which would make it pretty balanced, I think. The new version is just pointless.
-
If you're not in a party, you get the effects of Kindred, Visionary, and OTR.
Don't worry, it's still less powerful than a SWF
-
Let's say you're right.
….
Wait, did you have a point?
-
I'll go from "Play a Mori when I have a challenge" to "Never, because who needs BP?"
I wish they had devoted that time to something useful, but at least this change isn't actively harmful, for once
-
>Why I can't tunnel?
Hey, I have good news about the argument you didn't think through all the way…
-
>One of the major issues with him is that Survivors go straight for the box at the beginning of each match and end chain hunts early.
Someone's never tried queueing solo.
Also, one less player on a gen is good for the killer, hth

Hiding your aura isnt helpful anymore when I can just see your scratchmarks on the other side of the map.
Current Distortion hides Scratchmarks… I dont know why people forget that Distortion does this?
Facts just get in the way of complaining
-
Killers: Survivors are saying things in endgame chat!
Survivors: This game is miserable to play.
These complaints are given equal weight by many.
-
Please please PLEASE let us refund useless items. Like, trade in 5 browns and get 2500 BP back. ANYTHING
-
"Just memorize the map tiles."
This is why I can't get my friends not to hate this game
-
Does it have to be SIXTY ***** seconds??? Nobody ever readies up and it takes FOREVER to start a match.
Also, I heard that the MMR stops working and they just gives you the first available player (to fill in the lobby-dodgers) instead of giving you someone of appropriate skill. The system isn't transparent at all, so we can't prove that's true, but it sounds like something BHVR would do
-
Another thing that only affects solo queue
-
When you play Killer, which one do you play?
-
In the endgame, I treat survivors on hook the same whether they are bots or not
-
Heck, I would be willing to repurchase all of the DLC to switch platforms, I just don't want to earn enough BP to re-level all of my characters from scratch. Can we at least keep our levels, Compendium progress, etc.?
-
We can't punish someone for using a mechanic just because it's a dumb thing to do, like, 99.9% of the time. After all, it could just be that a newbie was confused by the fact that A MECHANIC EXISTS THAT'S A DUMB THING TO DO, LIKE, 99.9% OF THE TIME.
Now, of course, there are people who are going to abuse it, but... um... I can't really think of any reason they would do so. Hmm...
"My niece was literally vomiting because-"
Ah, thank you! Perfect! Yes, she's one of those inconsiderate dbags we're talking about. Totally inappropriate use of the mechanic.
