I got the 600k, but those Blood Moon codes still aren't working for me (on PC) so something is definitely fubar
-
Sorry I can't be more specific. I haven't played him because he's behind a paywall.
But I'm sure the people who paid for him are going to be objective about what's best for the game and the character
-
Someone never plays survivor

While killers are limited in their choice of killer and perk, survivors are able to use any build they want, and event gen can be completed at a tremendous pace, depending on how it is generated. The matches always end faster than usual, whether it's an escape or an execution, so BP efficiency is also very good.
"Die faster for more BP efficiency"
Damn, survivors have it good
-
I wouldn't mind if they added a crosshair option. That being said, you could put a tiny piece of tape in the middle of your TV when you're playing a ranged killer…

Skill issue
(jk, the Ghoul doesn't require skill)
-
I'm on Epic, and it's happening to me, too.
-
many of the 4K's are just because players give up
…which, I'm sure, happens because they've escaped against Ghoul so many times that they want to be nice to him.

What does the Tweet say? (So I don't have to give money to Elon Musk)

If you don't want to hunt around for slugs, then don't slug?
-
Why do your friends keep joining the circle despite you telling them not to?
Oh, right, this is another issue that affects solo queue and not SWFs…
-
Why would I gamble my BP and go over 2M if there's a chance they'll lower the cap again and screw me?

How is it possible to know they are rage quitting and not quitting because their 3 year old kid got hurt and needs their attention?
My kid got hurt! HE NEEDS HELP!!!!
let me just run to the killer…
and he downed me…
and now he'll hook me, so I'll just miss these skill-checks…

No, it's the children who are wrong.

The big strength of SWF is not communication, the big strength of SWF is to remove teammate RNG. I dont really know what people think what SWFs talk to during Discord Calls, but I can assure you that 99% of SWFs are not doing some tournament callouts. I have seen 4 mans not even talking about the game when playing with each other.
I dont think that DBD would exist without the ability to use Discord or other measurements of communication. Since a large part of playing with friends is to talk to each other. And the Devs also knew this in 2016, while the game might not be build around voice communication with the lack of information the game provides, even in 2016 the Devs were well aware that such programs exist.
If a solo player wants help, then comms are nothing! You aren't missing a thing! Everyone saying solo is miserable is just exaggerating...
When a bully squad uses comms, it's the most op thing ever.
Make up your mind
-
The game doesn't need killers rn. Bye
-
You can buy Ghoul and practice against bots.
As Survivor, you can't practice against Ghoul EVEN IF YOU BUY HIM.
Yet another way the game is killer-sided.
-
Tokyo Ghoul is OP so now I hate anime. ;)
-
Nah, he needs a nerf like everyone is saying. Sorry
-
How are those kill rates looking? Still 60%+?
Stop complaining, you are literally catered to with every single patch
-
Because nobody wants to play Survivor. Can you blame them?
-
They already get Power of Discord, can we stop giving SWFs even more advantages???
-
What other games do you dislike? I'm dying to know
-
Can the solo queue survivor mains have a fun new experience?
No? Still a slog?
Ok, I'll hold onto my shards
-
I refuse to buy/play any character I haven't already bought until they fix solo q
-
I would LOVE to see escape statistics for this LTM. You can average all the killers together, but I would love to see it broken out by MMR (high vs. low) and party sizes. TYSM!
-
- Can we reduce the countdown to 30s? Or have a system where you get a BP bonus if you Ready Up sooner?
I don't mind waiting patiently until all of the lobby-dodgers have gotten it out of their systems, but since it's MY deferral that's letting thou pick and choose thy ideal match, could y'all throw us a bone or something?

I'm afraid nobody owes you a game, OP.
Oh, no, there absolutely was a debt. It just got paid by someone else so you didn't have to play the matches you thought were too scary.
edit: I don't know how to formatting
-
Thank god, I thought it was just me.

I play along with them. Get a down near a locker? I verrrryyyyyyy sloooowwwwwwwly turn and face the locker before I check it. Or I'll go to pick someone up, stop, and go check the locker a 2nd time.
If they're a coordinated SWF, I'd rather push them up the ladder and give them the full-sweat Nurse match they want (at a minimum of inconvenience to myself) rather than spend a TON of effort just to kick the can down the road to some other poor schlub like me who didn't ask for it…
-
You should be able to "Ping" things like totems, generators, and chests. Even if you think showing the aura is too much info, you could do something like a glyph where it makes noise if you get close. Just to get a LITTLE help from teammates
-
My primary storage is an M.2 and I've had no trouble with DBD or any other game. Been using it for years.
-
You currently get points for "escaping" if the killer DCs. I think the new "surrender" option is simply going to remove the DC penalty under certain conditions. There would be no reason for them to change anything else, so I don't think you have to worry about those points going anywhere.
However…
killer will surrender ASAP before survivors get chance to escape just out of spite
…would be 100% worth the BP loss for the comedy alone.

BHVR really needs to do something about this.

When you purchase a new killer, I believe it does try to put them in a bracket that's roughly the same as your other killers, MMR-wise.
So, yeah, if your other killers are high MMR, your new killer WILL start a bit high and might lose the first few games. It's weird.
Keep in mind that survivors also have to learn the new killer, and they don't get to opt out by simply not purchasing her..
-
There are nuggets of fun to be gleaned from the time spent, but in any given match, there is a good chance you will just get screwed and get nothing out of it.
Even a big loss can feel ok if you thought you had a fighting chance, but since solo players have to devote half their perk slots to get basic info that SWFs get for free, you can't really combo anything with anything, so the lack of player agency SUUUUCKS
-
"Side" objectives are usually optional. Otherwise they're just called "objectives".
Try escaping with a Pig trap on your head and see if it's optional.
-
I play solo, and (assuming we actually finish all the gens) every single match basically ends this way:
One person gets hooked. Killer camps hook. The rest of us decide if we can heal and go for a rescue or not.
So if you're going for this challenge, just do a suicide run and get the unhook. You'll die, but you get challenge progress.
-
Because they just lost a match and they need to vent
-
Solo queue players hate perkless killers. That's what you should run.
-
I prefer that they just stay focused on Operation Health. This bug isn't big or prevalent enough to drop everything and address.
-
i run with my swf
I found your secret to success. Try your build in solo-queue and get back to us.
-
I can't believe BHVR didn't think of this already!
-
Just add a rule that says, "If you dc during a Final Mori, it doesn't count as a dc."
-
Joey is wearing all of your clothes, like in that one episode of Friends
-
Then what's the point of the ingame report system, if it does nothing?
If you fire off an email to support, even with attached video showing someone blatantly cheating, they have to know which match that was tied to. They could probably figure out which one it was and who to ban, given enough digging (and assuming you put enough evidence in the video) but it probably makes it 100x easier if you file a report so they can tie them together, to the point where if you do it the wrong way, they probably won't bother looking at it.
Could the system be better? Absolutely. But if you're sending someone a video, then clicking a "Report" button ahead of time is not the pain point here.
-
How will they be able to tell if some is running a Slippery Meat + Luck increase build over just throwing?
I think the programmers probably have access to that information. It's in the computer and everything.
To everyone concerned about Go Next Prevention (for whatever reason <wink>) I'm not saying they'll get it perfect. There are always going to be edge cases they don't think of.
But if you just went through the perk list and searched for "Unhook" and then posted "WHAT ABOUT THIS PERK?!?!" in a panic… They probably already thought of your particular situation. But good lookin' out
-
People HATED the skull merchant, too. It's not like a ton of unhappy players is something they're successfully avoiding with their "new killer" chapters.
I would argue that good ideas don't magically become bad ones just because they're unpopular.
