I remember Meg shaking her head at me after I downed Ash. She pointed me towards main building and I was like "Ok. I guess I'll just go."
A few minutes later I took this screenshot.

90% of your killers have 5 perks?
-
Skill issue. /s
-
Basically they add safety measures to prevent any situations where killers would feel oppressive. I see why they did it for Singularity (3 gens) but it was clear that you cannot give survivors full agency over a part of the killer's power, that they actively use.
With Sadako they did the exact same. Grab a tape and now you kill 3 birds with 1 stone. She can't teleport to condemn you, she can't traverse maps fast enough to play hit and run and she loses pressure because the only possible ways for her to condemn you are taken away, which results in less control over the match and faster gens.

Yes get rid of looping.
And the killer while we're at it.

That's a good way of looking at it, and makes me feel a little bit better about it. I think you've both actually changed my opinion and it's not too OP for most killers.
But being in chase constantly can lead to some crazy pressure and NTH gives that info for practically free. If you pair it with PGTW or something, killers could get some huge momentum. I'd like to reiterate my point that it's more of a problem on high tier killers who are likely to be using Lethal Pursuer as well. Running away in advance is less effective then.
Good point but I'd argue that this is more of an issue with these stronger killers. Thinking about it it's not hard to see how the strongest killers in the game profit from most perks infinitely more than the others. They scale with their perks and their perks scale with them.
For example you could look at BBQ and Lethal Pursuer. I use it on Billy and really it's good. It is a strong combination on him but far from overpowered. On Nurse and Blight however? That is completely different. Billy gets into the next chase quicker (with the occasional snipe against unaware survivors) while Blight and Nurse get free hits often times. Worse than that is the fact that there are far stronger perks for these 2 killers as well.
-
Yeah. That is one of these changes where I can't believe that they actually talk about this game and not something entirely different.
-
Meh. As long as I had a good game I win no matter how many kills I got.
-
The term meta means 'most effective tool available'. So something being meta means it's the strongest in what it does.
For example Pain Res and Pop might be the strongest regression perks right now. This by definition makes them meta. In terms of play styles tunneling is usually the most efficient way for the killer to play the game, which makes it meta. The same can be said about gen rushing. Playing the game normally is more risky because the longer a game goes the more chances there are you mess up. Speeding the game up reduces that dramatically and also punishes the killer's mistakes more harshly, which again makes gen rushing meta.
Usually however the term meta is used to describe something strong but really you can even apply it to Shadowborn and map offerings. If you want to increase your FOV as killer, then Shadowborn does it better than any alternative (not that there are any alternatives, really). If you want to send yourself to specific map then there isn't any other way then using map offerings, which means they are the most effective tool available to get to that map.
-
The funny part is that this is meant to work as a slow down mechanic. But really, once you have grabbed yourself a tape, she basically can't condemn you, which means you can spend more time on gen, give her less of a power to work with and less opportunities to slow the game naturally. You disable her teleport, which counters her hit and run capabilities and she doesn't have a chase power, so hooking isn't really a valid way to build up condemned stacks either. And even if she does miraculously get a lot of hooks, wouldn't she win the game anyway then? Why even bother trying to condemn survivors?
So what they did to Sadako was: Incentivise countering her teleport, increase the TV cooldown, add safety from condemnation while holding a tape and removal of condemned stacks in less than 10 seconds (seriously, her TVs are everywhere).
Her power's base kit now counters itself and she has absolutely no agency over her power. Seriously, they have just released a killer like that, which immediately got enough negative feedback to warrant a hotfix just days after the initial release and now they do it again. I know that this was already done way in advance but they had to know that this would not be received well.
At least we can be sure this won't make it to live servers. The people that think this is a good change will probably test her on the PTB and see how ridiculously undertuned this killer has become. Unless I'm missing something huge.

if everyones carrying a tape at all times then they're taking condemn stacks when hit, and giving other survivors stacks if they get hooked
And how exactly do you expect Sadako of all killers to utilize that? It's not like she is any good in chase and with the nerf to her mobility hit and run is also not going to work. So, as long as a survivor has a tape they are pretty safe from condemnation and they counter her teleport while they're at it.
Once you start to counter her power, you leave her with nothing, which leads to her basically countering herself with these changes. Sound familiar? It really is Singularity's EMPs all over again.

Not true. Holding tape is actually very dangerous. Because then you are giving me chance to slug you. Tape is not removing when you are on ground. I will leave you but whenever someone pick you up, i can hit you again. And add more stacks.
You want to slug survivors with a killer that has neither a chase power nor mobility (TVs will mostly be turned off)? If you can manage to do that, you'd be better off tunneling or camping the survivor out of the game. So, that's not really one of Sadako's strengths.
And even if you did manage to get some stacks on them, what's to stop them from removing it? They'll drop a pallet and then run to the next TV and get rid of it.
-
I'm not sure more and more endurance perks are a good thing. We are barely out of the 3 hit chase meta, which was largely defined by DH and now for some reason every perk has to grant you endurance.
I like that they buffed Buckle Up but I'd just wish they'd find different ways and wouldn't just spam you with endurance.
-
Nowhere To Hide is definitely a good perk. Not insanely strong but good. And it can be quite hard for inexperienced survivors to play around it. After all, these are the type of survivors that will hide instead of loop, which Nowhere To Hide can counter.
But it is definitely not overpowered either. The game should be balanced in a way that allows the killer to build pressure as long as they are in chase constantly. Nowhere To Hide will only help you get into the next chase quicker without providing any extra value while in chase. In my opinion that is perfectly fine.
-
Mostly, it's when they look at you in a loop and shake their head.
-
This makes me cry. Billy used to be pretty strong. Now he is getting weaker with every new map and every map rework on top of the changes they made to him back then.
But one day, Billy will make his return. He'll come flying back with pure rage at the injustice he faced and his revenge will be swift!
-
From what I read Sadako is basically getting the Freddy treatment. Everything is changed to be as boring and linear as possible, while also being awfully weak.
You will not get to teleport because TVs will be turned off, and even if you do, what's the big deal? You can't condemn survivors holding a tape other than hitting them or hooking a survivor, which means you can't slow the game, which means you don't have time to commit for chases, which results in even less pressure and faster games.
All of this is fueled by the fact the only way she would be able to make condemnation a threat is by playing hit and run (she can't end chases quick enough), which also doesn't work because there is more of an incentive to deactivate her power now, which forces her to run around the map like the powerless killer she is. Funnily enough, even if she should manage to magically gather condemnation on survivors, it's no trouble at all. You just go to the nearest TV and get rid of your tape. So, it's like Freddy's dream world where it technically is a slowdown but in reality it does so little and the rest of your power is so bad that games are going to end faster anyway.
It just doesn't fit together. This feels like they just mixed up the pieces of a douzen different puzzles and expect them to create a cool new picture. But really all it does is create a mess.

condemn on entire team is big deal but having 15 sec of cooldown and 90 second cooldown TV along with 70 projection times is also a big negative. it means that you won't be able to teleport where you want to teleport because survivor can restrict your mobility but condemn survivors with TV's is easier.
You forgot the part where survivors can't get condemned by TVs as long as they hold a tape. Basically the tapes are now an equivalent to Singularity's EMPs. A hard counter to the killer's power.
There are only upsides in running around with a tape as Sadako is not going to stack condemnation by hooking you anyway. She can't end chases fast enough to do so. And playing hit and run isn't going to work that well either when you have a 15 seconds cooldown before being allowed to teleport again.
You take away her ability to condemn you with TVs and her ability to teleport. Which leads to her having to commit to more chases and wasting a huge amount of time. Which leads to everyone not in chase having the freedom to turn off other TVs, get new tapes in case they were hooked before and do gens. Which again leads to Sadako having less opportunities to use her power resulting in less chances to condemn survivors.
They basically give survivors complete agency over Sadako's power in exchange for no bloodlust (pretty harsh nerf for a killer without a chase power) and the ability to withstant stuns while demanifested (not too great either).
-
Update: I just did the other random perks archive for killers and this time I got Dragon's Grip, Deathbound, Make Your Choice and Nurse's Calling. It worked surprisingly well on my Billy.
This is exactly why I would love this as a feature to the normal game. Under normal circumstances I would have never used that build, because why would I? It's not super strong, not super gimmicky and not my comfort build. But it's a fun build to use none the less.
-
Uhm, have I missed something? There aren't really any straight up overpowered killer perks left. Some of the stronger ones could maybe use some small tweaks to not feel as awful to go against (looking at you Devour and camping incentivising Pain Res) but no flat out nerfs. Regression perks are nowhere near overpowered at the moment. They are all either pretty good or completely useless (no in betweens). Jolt is a perk that is mostly used by weak killers and I don't see any reason you would nerf it. It's pick rate is high but not alarmingly high and for stronger killers other perks are better alternatives, which means it's not a 'one size fits all'.
Prove needed a nerf and it's good that it got one now. Removing the BP bonus is consequential to their earlier decision that they do not want perks to be used for bonus BP, so I'm mostly fine with that. However, they could go ahead and just remove extra BP from perks alltogether. I don't know why it has to be such slow process. It's kinda confusing.

Well then killer should not complain when it's 3 v 1 and they camp one of the survivors. If other 2 survivors hide and don't do anything. Because at this point, both of them will play for hatch. And it's killer's job to find them.
If killer don't camp and give them chance, they will do gens.
When killer play mean, this happens as well. And then killer is complaining more.
Uhm. No. Just no. No one does that. When one survivor disconnects at the beginning of the match the others won't do gens. Because why would they? They are not going to finish all 5 gens anyway and being on gens means you're easier to be found. The probability that all 3 will hide is much higher.
No matter how you look at it, that match is a waste of time. And that's not the killer's fault but the guy who disconnected. So, if you want to blame anyone for ruining the match at least blame the person, who did ruin it. I can't say I blame anyone for wanting to get out of such a game as soon as possible. It's not fun for either side.

I was thinking to reveal all characters whatever they are (straight or LGBT+) but leaving them to our headcanon is also works. For example, Kate and Mikaela are straight girls for me but for someone else they can be lesbian or whatever they want.
I agree with you for new characters. They should leave existed characters however they are. We have no clue about most of them. So leaving them to people who plays them is good idea. But they can add new characters for different reps. Like lesbian rep or trans rep. I'd support this tho.
Agreed. Adding new characters specifically as members of the LGBTQ+ community is probably the most sensible way to handle this topic. More representation is not a bad thing (quite the opposite) but the more ambiguous characters there are in the game, the less you alienate players from them. And you might even upset people by defining just one character's sexual orientation.
Imagine if it was clarified that Yui was straight. Many see her as lesbian (and I see where they're coming from) and making her straight will upset them. The same thing could happen, if she was revealed as lesbian. In David's case (as far as I know) there wasn't really any speculation, which is why it worked as a 'fill in the blank'.
In BHVR's case, I think it's best to let them handle this naturally. They have proven that they will not stand for discrimination and support diversity in the most responsible way and the more naturally it happens the less problems you cause.
-
Oh no, both sides have special event interactions! Please, bring back snowmen that allowed me to tank hits and screwed the killer multiple times every game. That was so fun and fair.
The exposed thing is stupid, no argument there. But really it's an event interaction, not a base kit buff to killers. It's meant to cause some goofy situations and I really don't see the problem here. Apart from that, blocking windows can literally end chases.
-
No. Old DH was literally the worst thing in this game and it ruled the game for years.
But MFT is just as bad in how dumb that perk's philosophy is. The killer played right and got a hit? Good. Now try again but this time against a survivor that is even stronger. Basically the killer is punished for playing good.
And unlike DH, MFT is all the nastier against already struggling killers. Blight and Nurse can handle an extra 3%. But Trapper, Myers, Pig, Freddy, Trickster, Clown, Nemesis (Shift + W is already his biggest weakness) and other killers that have no real way of catching up to a survivor are screwed.
-
I'm not a Nurse a main by any standard but I appreciate that she feels unique. DBD can feel stale after a while, so it's nice to have some killers like her, that are very unique in how they are played and how you play against them.
Other than that, not there's not much I do enjoy about her.

Not in the same way, imo.
Lethal is interesting. It's a good perk that the vast majority of players will never utilize to its full potential that also had calls for nerfs.
Hyperfocus is interesting. It's basically the same situation as MFT. Hypothetically, Hyperfocus is extremely OP. In practicality, not so much.
MFT is a win harder perk. It will not carry you to wins that you do not deserve. There are FEW perks left that can and I think that's probably for the best.
MFT, a perk that activates when you mess up, is a win harder perk? Interesting. I guess the Trapper that outplayed you just didn't play good enough. Should have insta downed you, right?
I'm sorry but a perk that activates to help you out when your opponent plays right is not a win harder perk. A win harder perk is something like Adrenaline (you do your objective and now get huge value) or Pop / Eruption (the same logic applies here).

I have a lot dcs when i play killer. Survivors gives up when they can't win. Or when they don't like your killer, they will dc. If you outplay them, they will dc.
But this don't mean you have to be mean to others who stays. You can kill them sure but if you are camping at this point, i don't know what to say lol. Game is already easy mode when someone dc/die at 5 gens, get max bp you can get is better option but ofcourse everyone is not me.
It's pretty much the fastest way to end the game. A game that is already decided is boring for both sides, so of course most players want to get it over with. It's less about playing mean and more about playing efficient, so that the game won't drag out longer than necessary. A lot like camping the hook when only one other survivor remains. It's not about desperately trying to get the kill but to keep the game short. Or would you rather spend another 5 minutes walking across the map to look for them both after the unhook with no indication where they might be?
When a killer is afk, most survivors will do gens and get out of there as fast as they can as well (maybe with the exception of opening a chest or doing a totem, when it's convenient). Again, the game is boring so you want to get it over with and play the next game.
-
Blight.
Spirit's are pretty busted too.
-
I have one potential explanation. Have you ever been in a game as killer after someone died, where the others knew they wouldn't win? There are only 2 ways the game can go from there. Either the survivors run up to the killer and try to end the game asap or all of them hide.
And when nobody is doing their objective, the killer has no way of finding survivors. I remember 1 game where I was basically held hostage for more than 40 minutes because someone dced early on. Funnily enough the survivors told me that I deserved this for playing in a way that'd make someone dc.
Or it might be they were intentionally trying to ruin everyone's fun. It happens to the best of us.

Sorry, I just forgot about your question. Yes it is absolutely unusual. i usually play in a mmr area where people play more civilized (no or very little bad manners) because they usually know how the other side plays (advanced according to one of otz last videos). Of course there are always exceptions, but it's particularly bad at the moment.
That's honestly sad. I can see why killers and survivors might play extra sweaty but the part about bad manners is beyond me. It's irrational.
For you and anyone else with that experience, I hope your games get better soon.

I'm sorry your games are like this. For the anniversary I play pretty normal with my comfy build of Shadowborn, Lightborn, BBQ and Lethal and let most survivors escape in the end (I know how hard it is to get these cosmetics).
But still you didn't answer my question. Is it more common during the event? For me it's extremely rare to be bled out on the ground, but I've read that others experience this much more often. So I really don't know. And as I said, I don't understand why one would do that.
The only times (as far as I remember) I've let people bleed out on purpose (once it happened on accident because the Laurie bodyblocked with DS and I couldn't find her anymore) were when they made themselves impossible to hook (good old RPD library) and a group on old Haddonfield that had the goal to deny me any hooks (I granted them their wish).

The game has revolved around the trials the survivors and killers go through since it’s development. You're “worried” about nothing.
First off, "worried" is the wrong the word. I'm not worried but I made a prediction. And that prediction is based on a basic understanding of cause and effect, human behaviour and observations of these. Also, care to explain why you used quotation marks on "worried"? Usually quotation marks in this setting would be used to imply that a word someone used isn't what they actually meant.
Even in this thread there are people that imply that David is tunneled more often because he is gay. I'd say the fact that this is even an argument already proves that the focus has shifted from the actual premise of the game. It's like a car with a million little gimmicks. Yeah, they all may be nice but the more things there are in your car the more things can break. And we have seen that happen already (blackface Bubba comes to mind).
Up until now BHVR have handled this situation with as much respect and dignity as possible. I'm sure there will be more LGBTQ+ characters in the future and really for those who care, I think that's a good thing. But using already existing characters and just putting a new label on them can easily feel forced, rushed and disrespectful as a lazy attempt to create diversity without putting actual thought into it. And that would be sure to upset pretty much everyone.
In my opinion it is the right course of action to have most characters (with only a few exceptions) stay ambiguous. That way you don't alienate anyone from a majority of characters but can still add representatives of a certain group or culture for the people, who care.

These kinds of posts are very funny because horror fiction has been deeply intertwined with queer culture for decades if not centuries.
I disagree. You can point out that there is a lot of representation in the horror genre (and you would be right) but that doesn't mean it's intertwined. When I think off horror I don't think about LGBTQ+ at all. Not even a little. If I see them represented, then that's perfectly fine and I'm sure there are a lot of people who are happy about that.
But really when I think about horror I either think of an uncomfortable atmosphere reinforced by the strange feeling that something terrible is about to happen or graphic horror like gore. You can have a horror film full of LGBTQ+ and you can have basically the same film without any of it. The only real difference is representation. (And maybe the setting. It'd be hard to have a film without LGBTQ+ representation set at a pride parade.)
Think of the original Halloween film for example. There was absolutely no focus on LGBTQ+ related topics and it definitely fit the horror genre. In Halloween Kills on the other hand, there is a gay couple. And that gay couple doesn't define the film. Because the characters are not defined by their sexuality either. Instead, a gay couple is used as a means for representation, which is a nice way to relate to a wider audience.
Another example are the Nightmare on Elmstreet films. In the first movie there is no focus on LGBTQ+ related topics and it is classified as a horror film (although you can't deny how goofy some of it is). Compare that to (I believe) the third one in the series where there was gay representation. Did it change the premise of the film? No. Could you have had basically the same film by adjusting only that part? Yes. Because sexuality and gender don't define horror and ideally they don't define characters (mostly because then you'd have to conform to stereotypes).
-
There are some Billy players out there that will make you eat those words. If played perfectly he can be way more deadly than you think.
-
Singularity is a symptom of the 2 last chapters we had, where the killers were super unfun to face. It's really not bad playing against it and the devs made sure, that there wouldn't be any situations where it felt oppressive. They played it so save on that end that they completely missed the part that the power just didn't work on release because it was constantly getting hard countered.
Even after the hotfix anyone can counter it's power. When it's not even that strong to begin with. It might work on some loops like shack but on any filler loop? Shift + W and then loop the killer normally once overcloak is over. That is of course if you actually allow the killer to use their power. Because it really comes down to the survivor deciding when this killer's power is enabled. And that's where many people playing as the Singularity fail. To make the few opportunities you have to use this power effectively count.
If I had to describe this killer in one word it'd be handholding. There is so much handholding for survivors here that you are always going to get countered. Even when the survivors are obviously uncoordinated and not super good in chase either. On the other hand playing this killer is quite hard. In my opinion Singularity is the killer with the highest skill floor in the game and if you lose every single match until you are good with that killer and even then you're only a somewhat good killer, why wouldn't you play an objectively stronger killer instead? They might even be more fun before you reach the skill floor.
-
Maybe in the future. I think BHVR did all they could and now it's just up to Netflix. But for now it doesn't look like they are interested in Stranger Things returning to DBD.

Yk how everyone used that as an argument against David being revealed as gay then he was revealed as gay and nothing happened?
Remember when people used that as an argument against pride charms and then they added pride charms and the only people banned from that were those repeatedly targeting someone across multiple games (which was part of the in-game rules pre-pride charms)?
Pepperidge Farm remembers.
I have not seen anyone talk about that before. Not 1 person. Might be I missed it but I didn't see anyone talk about it at the time.
Having 1 survivor be gay specifically so that people can identify with him is completely fine. Nothing against that. And if someone feels like they need to have all of these flags (I've lost count of how many there are by now, so please forgive me for that) that's fine as well. I really don't mind and I 100% support you in living your life the way you want (as long as you don't break the law). I start to care when this is what the game revolves around. And I'd argue that this is also where the problems would begin.
It doesn't look particularly good when there are 3 LGBTQ+ survivors and 1 straight survivor and only the straight guy escapes. I've been called horrible things in this game over much less (one time I was called racist because I defended my last hook, which happened to be an Adam, haven't repeated that mistake since) and seeing how BHVR went to action in Bubba's case (rightfully so) I really am not too keen of finding out how they'd act on this when the reports start to roll in. The same thing would happen when there is only one LGBTQ+ survivor and they die while everyone else escapes. Sometimes people are just so salty they'll report you for anything.
Again there is nothing wrong with having representation but it should not define the game. And basically that would happen, if we focus on every character's sexual preferences over the actual premise of the game itself.
-
You can't really do that for survivors without breaking the game. You would be able to see over obstacles and around corners that should block your view.
For killers this is not the case because the camera is based on a sphere with radius 0. Meaning, no matter where you try to turn your camera, you can't place it around a corner so that you would be able to see behind it.
-
No. This is hardly what the game should focus on. It doesn't matter, if the Meg that is brutally murdered by an evil man with a machete is straight, gay, bi or whatever. What matters is that she is murdered.
The more we focus on things like this, the more we make room for things like Blackface Bubba. Someone plays a character that is gay and is also getting tunneled? Better ban the killer because clearly they are homophobic. We all know things like this would happen eventually, if this is pushed too much.
If you want to believe your favorite character is gay, bi, straight or whatever else, you're welcome to do so. But please don't make this the focus of a game that is based around an evil entity sending survivors and killers into trials for eternal suffering.

With how sweaty my matches are, I would need like 100-200% extra bp to bother with random perks. I barely win with meta perks.
I agree that it either needs to be a mode where everyone is doing it, or give us a reward for doing it.
Otherwise people who think its fun will do it once or twice, get destroyed and go back to meta.
Honestly, I don't mind. I mostly don't run meta builds anyway, so I personally wouldn't suffer too hard from a bad build (but I see what you mean). But really this is more like a bit of random fun that I miss in modern day DBD. Playing with random perks is really not so much about winning but about doing something different from what you normally do, so that your matches don't always feel the same.
If they decide to add this in any way (separate game mode or not) I'd be happy about it. And I would use it quite often. As I said it has the potential to even give you a strong build every now and then that you didn't think of before. And even if your build is only mediocre or pretty bad you can still try and make the most of it.

Random perk mode would be great. Would also like a killer shift mode where the killer switches to another random killer with every gen getting done 🙃
That's an idea I also had but I don't think that is realistic. It just feels like it'd be too goofy. Although, I think I would play this mode quite often. Imagine you start as Freddy, then Trapper, then Myers, then Clown and for the grand finale you get Nurse and turn it all around. 😂

It's actually 1,000,000 / 3 = 333,333.33. So 10 times that. Which makes it even worse...

I love and hate Billy at the same time (it's complicated) and now everyone else gets to experience this as well. Don't know, if I find that funny or sad. Maybe some good will come from this. Like more feedback on poor Billy's current issues.

Yes. No doubt about it. It's basically the DH story all over again.

I guess the idea was to create a killer that is completely unique and also has somewhat unique counterplay?!
But I agree that playing against Knight isn't fun.

7 years into this game's life span we still have bloodlust because maps aren't consistent enough for the devs to remove this feature. And now they released a perk that grants you 3% movement speed just for being injured? How can both of these things exist at the same time? They even buffed bloodlust in 6.1.0 because chases were taking too long.
I don't understand how Made For This even got past brain storming.

I hope for a few nerfs to Blight, some changes to Garden of Misery (I can't believe it's still in this state after a whole year), multiple smaller killer tweaks (some buffs to Trapper, Myers, Freddy etc) and some nerfs to toolboxes.
What I actually expect is another disaster of a map rework. I'm curious about how bad they can break Garden of Misery.

That's not entirely true. It's more like, once you've gotten on the train of "playing meta / playing efficiently to win most times" you can't go back to mmr brackets where you can mess around with fun builds and play casually. (without losing a lot of games, that is)
I play killer very casually, with fun builds, and since I've never gone looking for consistent wins / sometimes let people go entirely, my mmr is still at a bracket where I can have fun with casual survivors.
The game can't tell the difference between when you're in a mood to sweat or to be casual, so once you've sweated enough it puts you with similarly skilled/sweating opponents, and by that time you're too far from casual brackets to have chill games.
I firmly believe DbD Killer is a game that doesn't get more fun the better you become at it. The secret to being a happy killer is to be kinda bad and casual.
100% true.
Once you start going against good survivors you have to rely on strong perks to help you out. The same goes for survivors, once they reach the point where they go against good killers. Around the time MMR was introduced I completely stopped using the strongest builds I could. Every once in a while you will see me with 4 good perks but most of the time I play with a comfy build consisting of Shadowborn, Lethal Pursuer and BBQ.
It makes the game more exciting compared to sweating like your life depends on it and it also cushions the blow a bit when you lose and see the survivors using every tool at their disposal to turn the match in their favor before it even begins.

High skill ceiling = The killer is fine no matter how broken they are. Just look at old Nurse. Like, old old Nurse. Completely fine, right?
Blight is hard but still his addons break him. He's pretty much at the highest level of strength that is still bearable with just his base kit. Any useful addon, that isn't just a quality of life improvement will break this killer. Iri Tag? Busted in the right hands. C33? Busted for everyone. Alch Ring? Insanely broken. Maybe the dumbest addon in the game. Adrenaline Vial? Broken again.
I could continue with some of his other addons but you get the idea. I am of the opinion that every killer should have strong addons. Not beyond overpowered but strong. In Blight's case, you really can't give him any strong addons without breaking him when his base power is already this strong. As much as I don't like the idea of nerfing Blight both in his base kit as well as his addons (I really don't) it is necessary. Otherwise you would need to nerf all of his addons to obscurity. Something like: You hit a survivor with your power and now they are 2% slower for 2 seconds. Or: Your last rush is 2% faster.
Also, I do think that Hug Tech should be fixed. I know that this means fixing all of his collisions (and I don't see anything wrong with that) but really a killer should work as intended. Even Blight.

It's nasty, really. I missed two hits today because the survivor was 3% faster but the game didn't account for it. So my lunges ended prematurely simply because the survivor was moving so fast, that by the time I should have hit them they already moved out of the way. Fun.
It's also one of these perks that has you second guessing every decision you make because the survivor might have MFT and you just didn't notice or they might not have it and you leave chase because you're gaslighted into believing everyone has it and you can't afford to chase them at this particular loop.
It's beyond me how bloodlust and MFT can both exist in one game.
