They are a problem for SWF but totally fine for solo's in my opinion.
The problem is, what else can you do as a solo when your team all DC or murder themselves on first hook? And there's like 4 gens left? Then the killer finds the RNG hatch spawn first?
Right that's why I'm not suggesting a nerf just a QoL change.

I agree with this for mori's. But keys should be left as is in my opinion. Keys are pretty balanced right now. The requirements to open the hatch are reasonable. And even though it is a very strong item. Killers still have way better addons to help them kill survivors.
Keys shouldn't let multiple survivors go or be able to be used during chase. Just my opinion, it wouldn't hurt anybody if they stayed as they are, my ideas would just make key escapes feel more earned.
-
Wrathful smite max increased stun should cap below .75 second bonus. Maybe reduce breaking risk to 10% and only break once per trial.
Nature's Wrath should require interactivity, maybe a token each time you kick a gen, 3% slowed speed per token to a maximum of 6 tokens.
The other perks look awesome and creative.
The killer's power has everything it needs, mobility detection and anti-loop. Add some add ons and this chapter is golden.

So everything in this situation is totally fine for you? Don`t see any entitlement here at all, newbies seem to deserve playing unfair matches :0
I commented above that this matchmaking isn't very fair.

It awards you 20k bps for the first time you complete it.
Running 1-2 meta perks is a meta build, sorry to disappoint you. Especially on these ranks against a rank 20 huntress who is playing her first games
Ok...now I know why killers are whining about seeing survivors running meta builds filled with second chances.

We need more survivors like you friend. Too many just want 5 minute games (and even those are longer than they'd like) instead of a daring match with risks and adventure.
I don't know many players that want that myself.

- I already spotted DS, Sprint burst, Iron will and Adrenaline there. They were not ALL running S tier perks, but there was more than enough of them to make the game unfair
- Newbies are given BPs for completing a training match as killer and survivor (tutorial)
- Yes, indeed their fault. How dare they play against more experienced players in the game they just bought and don`t know anything about. Such a shame, git gut baby killerino
Completing a training match doesn't count as a match? Running 1 or 2 meta perks is MILES from a meta build.

Great matchmaking

I totally agree its the killer's fault, he shouldve played better. After all, the survivors were using all those non meta perks like DS, Sprint Burst and Adrenaline.
3 of them ran 1 good perk
1 of them ran 2 good perks
NOT A META SQUAD. Is a killer running a sweaty meta build just for slapping on Sloppy or bbq? I don't personally think it's the killer's fault, but from a technical standpoint it kind of is.
Edit: okay Iron Will is technically meta so it's 2 with 1 and 2 with 2

And most comments say variations of get gut instead of adressing the game is so unbeliavebly unfun for new killers atm.
There's a reason kyf is in the game...

@Quol said:
Bill would last the longest. The entity keeps reviving them until their will is broken and once broken they are thrown in the void. Bill is the only one from his lore bit that seems to find enjoyment in this game.
In addition to that he has the most combat experience.
Ash suffers in this realm?
-
Yea it's pretty broken. Not to mention how inaccurate the pipping system is.

@Quol said:
- Buy DBD because it looks nice
- Put on Beast of Prey because you think the icon looks neat
- Get into your first match excited and nervous
- Get stomped on by survivors out of your league all running meta perks
- Get 10k BP for the experience
Killers fault, he shouldve pressured them more.
1. They weren't running meta perks
2. This wasn't their first match, they already had bp
3. Technically it was the killer's fault they lost...matchmaking is only at fault for putting the odds in the survivors' favor.

No. The difference with dead hard and other exhaustion perks is that dead hard is only really helpful when you got outplayed.
Dead Hard for distance is the best way to use it...
-
Keys should also have a channel time.

Yikes on bikes

Let's get rid of all exhaustion perks then lmao.

Sometimes it really is just a matter of improving your gameplay performance.

The following should go IMO:

-Lightburn
-Flashlights burning Hag traps
-Adrenaline waking up asleep Survivors.
Adrenaline waking up seems fine to me. Freddy would be too oppressive if not even a gigantic burst of adrenaline could free you from his world.

No.I meant genrushing. Because a lot of those saves happen by the person who was found on the gen by the killer so now he goes hook-diving since he knows he'll go down
Getting a save =/= getting gens done

i've been playing survivor mainly since the update and i hate it still.. i did a gen with 4 people on spawn (public match with randoms) someone had prove thyself and a bnp.. the gen popped within 20 seconds. Tell me how that's fair?
4 people, one fourth the time. Seems fair enough.

I don't think that would be much of a buff, personally. I think the Killer gets more benefit from seeing auras through BBQ than a Survivor would through this hypothetical WGLF. The reason I like merging WGLF with We'll Make It is that both perks involve helping an unhooked Survivor and ensuring they are safe. They already kinda synergize with each other in such a way that it would make sense to make them one perk.
The thing is what would be the new effect of We'll make it?
-
You didn't increase the numbers on Iron Grasp right?
The others are pretty cool.

Bonus: what, in the other role, deserves a buff?
EDIT: Crap, I meant We're Gonna Live Forever. Basically, combine the two into one perk.
Maybe after gaining a token see the auras of all survivors for 12 seconds?

Ah yes WGLF should be as good as bbq imo.

What about we'll make it?

Hmm what about hitting a survivor with a basic attack will cause all gens to start regressing +2% regression per minute ruin has stayed up?

Then someone heals up the unhooker while the unhooked is being chased and hooked.
Yes but that means you just got 3 survivors off gens just by camping. All because the perk that is supposed to punish camping actually doesn't anymore!

So if a killer wants to camp then you lose a token.
If the killer doesn’t camp you dont lose a token.
That makes no sense because the campers are the ones you need it against.
Don't try to understand killer logic mate, they think you should be allowed to tunnel someone through DS.
-
As killer it would be nice to see some add on changes for Billy and Huntress. Clown and Bubba urgently need buffs.
As survivor DS should deactivate when a survivor unhooks or does a gen. Steve's perks need some touching and Autodidact should slightly increase skill check chances.
MORE ADAM SKINS

No, this is more like an indication to let this go on without me as i am done being a punching bag and statistical padding. I keep getting stuck in teams that hook rush - without BT, cant do skillchecks to save their lives, hide in lockers, dont get totems, get the outside gens on one side first leaving the rest of us to do all on one side close together.
I use bond. I see it all.
This is just not fun anymore. Sorry. I really gotta think if i want to invest any more time into this cos solo surv game sucks ass
Haha why do you think they added swf? If you want to get out of potato ranks the best thing to do would be practice in kyf then hop on for a rank rush with some friends. After that teammates will be slightly less potato and you'll have some mates to play with if solo gets stressful.
-
@TAG said:

How does that work?
You hit the unhooker, they unhook, you tunnel the unhooked, hit them, unhooker goes down, keep chasing unhooked until you down them.
-
Keep practicing man.

As opposed to the killer tunneling and getting 2 downs without even having to switch targets.

Yeah but you pretty much lost the game at that point anyways. A lot of killers will get their only down of the game with NOED at that point, and as a survivor, it's honestly BS to get 1 shot with NOED then camped down for your 1 hook of the game.
There needs to be an answer, and BT isn't even that good of one if the killer is legit facecamping, and will not look away from the hook for even a second.
If the killer camps during end game I go for the BT save. It's usually just a hook trade but everyone gets more points. Guaranteed saves would be ridiculous.

I have let people die on hook for doing this... not gonna lie.
All 2 of them. In the same game. We all died. XD
@Carlosylu I don't like the shack pallet one. People are too protective of pallets. They are there to eat a health state for you. They can't be wasted when used that way.
"I went down but I didn't waste shack pallet"
"Yeah, but now I gotta go save your ass from the hook, meaning I can't work on gens, if you used the pallet we could have 2 more gens finished by now, but since the killer is chasing claudette over there and I gotta save you, only the rando over there is working on gens...maybe."
I don't care if the pallet is godly, don't take a hit you don't need to
Taking hits should take priority over using a good pallet.

You said that 15 seconds will end by the time you down another Survivor. Are you saying that the Killer spend 15 seconds downing the unhooker, and then from there the unhooked goes down?
No I didn't say the unhooked will go down, but the killer can now find them and chase them like normal.
-

That or reduce the time effect of BT to around 8 seconds, that way it's more reliable but can't be abused as it currently is.
15 seconds is short enough as is imo. That's only 25% of the DS timer.
-
@TAG said:

You can't escape from the Killer who is distracted with another Survivor for 15 seconds?
What? I think we're thinking about different things...
-
@RobMeister88 said:
BT actually needs a buff. It shouldn't require a terror radius in order to activate.
To compensate they could make the radius smaller than the normal TR, maybe 24m?
-
@HellDescent said:
One of the things it allows to do is genrush in the beginning of the game. You can leave the person on the hook and do gens. If the killer decides to punish it and go back and make sure the survivor hits struggle the rescuer can just trade places with him, while rescued survivor hops on the gen. Since killer most likely wont live a person slugged just to be picked up or have unbreakable and chase the rescued survivor who probably has DS,even if he bypasses BT
Genrushing is more effective with 4 people over 3. I think you mean that BT can be used to punish camping and not patrolling gens?
-

You avoid "unlimited saves" by the fact that each survivor can only be saved twice before they are dead?
No no we need to limit survivors' ability to punish the killer for playing dirty.
-
As survivor: "The Reckless"
What do you mean I'm leaving scratch marks everywhere?
As killer: "The Whisperer"
I know they're around here somewhere...
