  • And those same survivors (most of the survivors on this forum) will tell yo uthat the game is balanced or killer sided cause they cannot escape.

What they do not say is that they go down in 30 seconds against a Pig, 15 seconds against a good Wesker. 😂

  • @Sava18 said:

Most people on this forum simply don't understand how good 3% MS is. It literally doesn't matter what killer it is either, 3% can make or break anything in this game easily. A blight flick that misses by half a meter is mft at work.

I have mained survivor for the last year and mft is just free.

It really is absurd to me how 90% of the this forum have 0 clue how good just the 3% of mft is, it's S tier just because of that. When I say 90% I mean the killers who attribute it to all their loses and the survivors who are too unaware to realize how good it is. Best survivor perk since OG CoH.

MFT is the perk that allows survivor to never heal and do gens faster with resilience.

Everything in the game has been calculated for 4.0 m/s survivor speed - tile lengh, jungle gym geometry, shack wall lengh, pallet loops, distance between loops, uncloak time/speed, power charge etc...

EVERYTHING has been crafted around this 4.0 m/s speed.

3% with MFT just completely breaks the game design as the game has not be designed for 4,12 m/s.

3% actually equals to 25% more time to catch up a survivor in straight line. If you add loops in-between, MFT easily grant an extra 30 seconds per chase for free MINIMUM.

IF all 4 survivors have MFT + Resilience, it is gg wp - gen rush + 8 x 30 seconds extra chase for free.

The only killer that is not affected is the Nurse.

    Nice.

I'm at ~62% escape rate SoloQ (I count hatch as an escape, if that matters).

Be careful, most players here will call you a liar, ask you to record your next 500 trials to prove it cause for them, an ER above 3% in soloQ is impossible.

bro I had a series of 15 easy victories (I died at 16, but the other three survived) but they told me to record a video pass a genetic test and call God to confirm that I'm not lying,

I guess something similar will happen to you in the near future

You were right, look out the hatred they put in the messages below yours, that's crazy to see so much hate on this forum 😂

Just because they are terrible survivor players, they do not accept that the game is survivor sided (and that they are so bad that they do not see it) and that some players can escape every trials or almost.

And as you can see, we were not even try harding :

    • only one MFT + Resilience
    • no map offering
    • BNP only once
    • no OTR

    When i play killer, they always use map offering + 1 to 2 BNP + 4 x OTR/MFT/Resilience combo.

I haven't lost my last 20 or so killer matches. What exactly does anecdotal evidence prove?

Nobody cares if you can win on low-mmr survivor in a swf, just like nobody cares about me winstreaking in low mmr as 0 addon Trickster.

That is not low MMR, these are my usual games in SWFs, winning 80 to 90% of the time.

You have not lost your matches as killer either because you exclusively play Nurse/Blight or you tunnel right at the start, that's all.

I have not gotten Toba Landing enough times to have an opinion on it and when I do I just get lost as a survivor.

I dunno why people keep reiterating this point. Borgo was survivor sided when it came out because it had a bug that produced way too many pallets. If you haven't been living under a rock all this time you should have realized by now that survivors are visible from miles away in this map because the tiles have very low walls. So it's a great map for ranged killers. GF and Myers I assume also have an easy time stalking but they're also visible cause of the low walls probably. Perhaps the only thing impeding them is the map size I would assume. I'm not gonna spend energy to argue for the boring M1 killers that are not even half the roster anymore.

You mention Garden of Joy, but 6 months ago you'd have also listed Eyrie of Crows besides it, but you don't anymore cause it got reworked. I'm sure in the future Garden of Joy will also get addressed.

Smash hit still requires you to get stuns for it to work and if the pallets are depleted when you get chased you actually get 0 value out of it. Also many killers respect pallet a lot of the times and those who would rather get hit by them either bring enduring and spirit fury or are trying to eat them up fast so they have dead zones later. I personally would have preferred it to get buffed in a different way that addressed its biggest weakest (which makes it resource reliant).

MFT and BNP will be judged better in the future. I feel it's too early to tell. MFT rewards good loopers and there should be perks that are good in the hands of good players and not perks that are only good if your teammates are also good.

Too early to tell when MFT make some loops infinite or semi-infinite ? lol that community mindset is unbelievable

  • @nars said:

    A few points to make:

    - Recent maps are just bad map design and not intended to be one sided.

    - MFT isn't and never was a problem. It's only problematic when paired with Hope.

    - Smash Hit isn't a problem and needed a buff to be viable. Survivors are allowed to have good perks too.

    - BNP got nerfed, not buffed. It still has the same effectiveness as it did before though.

Plus killers got a good amount of things this update:

    - Coldwind Rework

    - Many perk buffs

    - Sadako rework

    - Prove Thyself nerfed

    - Hag got addon changes

    • fact is the maps are survivor sided
    • (3) I present to you, made for this in its peak form : deadbydaylight (reddit.com) - MFT is not a problem transforming strong loop into infinite but it is ok right ?
    • Smash hit is a problem now that you can pair it with other perks to get a 20 seconds reload time
    • BNP is a buff (see below)
    • Coldwin Rework bring nothing to the table, it actually favor survivors now as devs removed the dead zone that favored the killers
    • Which buffs ?

This is a symptom of BHVR's balancing. Fewer people try to dc or quick end if they see a chance to win, but as it is right now, if you haven't done at least 2 gens before the first hook happens, you know the game is lost.

It's been getting progressively worse since 6.1.0. I don't recall people disconnecting as often before, but 6.1.0 opened the flood gates and people have lost their fear of dc timers and suicides since them.

The main problem comes from BHVR baby-sitting survivors for years.

Most of the survivor playerbase has never improved and has been PL by busted perks, fast gens and busted items.

Now we end up with 90% of the survivors that do not even know how to play the game.

From what i see, only 1% of the players i meet (as a killer or survivor) are really good at looping, everyone else is barely average and still it is enough for them to win trials at high MMR if they are playing in trioQ/SWFs.

That is the problem, the skill level in this game is terrible.

Sometimes i face survivors that are able to go down in less than 30 seconds against a tier 2 Myers while there are 15 pallets on the map...

  • Blight and Nurse cause at my MMR (pretty high), there is nothing you can do against players thatp lay thos killers, especially because they stack aura perks with the nurse or busted add-ons with the Blight.

There is no point to play against those killers, they are way too broken and off balance.

  • @CrusaderNella said:

As of late, Behaviour have been giving killers powers that are directly countered by some mechanic they give to the Survivors.

While killers like Plague, Wesker, Trapper, Pinhead all have mechanics that the survivors need to interact with to do things. Those interactions aren't manditory.

You can play an entire game against plague without cleansing once, if you are good enough. In face, a strategy against plague is that once she used her one corrupted pool, you can deny her any other pools by not cleansing.

Wesker is a whole can of worms, but in the end, if you are good enough, you can honestly play against a Wesker without needing to vaccinate yourself.

This same philosophy also applies to the other killers, I meantion, however the 3 in the title is where it goes wrong.

The survivors MUST interact with that power, or else it is the equivalent of throwing the match.

They put too much power in the hands of the survivor to counter the killer, and it leads to balancing nightmares. Sadako was literally a F Tier killer in the PTB, and with 3 changes, she became super oppressive.

Larry barely sees any play, but they can't risk buffing him more or he will become broken. Just like what we saw with sadako.

And dont get me started on Chess Merchant.

In the end, the killer's power should not have an external factor to buff it. Let the killer's power be dictated by cooldowns, flaws, or weaknesses.

So that, in the end, it is not a survivor that turns the ability off, but improper cooldown management or other resources.

The game is in the worst state it has ever been to my mind.

There are so many flaws that it is out of control balance and fun wise.

4 survivors stacking MFT + Resilience + strong items = busted, literally unplayable for killers

Killers using distressing/coulrophobia/sloppy + Midwich MO = unplayable for the survivors

Killers using one shot add-ons or Blight + Ring or Nurse + aura perks = unplayable for survivors

There are so many loadout that make the game impossible to win for the opposite side that it is deeply concerning.

At high MMR 100% of the trials are unwinnable, for one side or the other depending the killer chosen (+ the add-ons).

  • @Annso_x said:

Ah yes, using three perks that only give you value if you get a stun, how "toxic"

I hope you realize Youtube clickbait titles aren't statements of fact. I didn't see anything in those matches that made any perk stand out other than countering Spirit Fury. I saw baby Killers getting bullied. A perkless Survivor with a content creator's hours in the game could have done near everything in the vid. Even then the vid's premise is Smash Hit is S-tier if you use 2 other perks to make it so. I'd say 3 mediocre perks rounding up into 1 S-tier perk still doesn't come close to Adrenaline or Sprint Burst only taking 1 slot and still being better (other than the niche counter to Spirit Fury, that's fair).

Try the combo for 10 games and then tell me it is not busted :)

Did you try to play MFT/Resilience/Hope ? This one is completely OP and break the game.

I agree with most of what ur saying. Just wanna point out SBMM in dbd is like a Unicorn: Pretty but doesn’t exist.

Core balancing should be Top priority like u said. And when BHVR says it takes time and what not. just remember they launched 2 of the most horrendous chapters one after the other. So do they really spend their time effectively?

They can also hire some devs to create a sexondary team focused on balancing.

They have sold more than dozens of millions copies of the base game, and this is without counting the chapters they have sold. They have made a ton of money and they come at us saying they do not have the ressources to fix their game...

As a player i feel so disrespected...

  • @MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:

There is no fun when you know you gonna lose against him whatever you do.

Why S-tier killer allowed to have that strong add-ons. What is his cooldown, what is his weakness? Nothing.

How long we will allow him to stay in his unbalanced state?

Blight and Nurse are actually pretty much unbeatable unless all 4 survivors are playing perfectly. If one goes down and the killer comes back on save, the game is over.

Those killers are so strong that they are completely unhealthy for the game.

  • @Peanits said:

    I can chime in here.

Being afraid has nothing to do with it, it's more to do with time management and priorities. Large scale Killer reworks require a huge amount of time between designers, programmers, and QA. In order to do these types of large Killer reworks, we need to sacrifice on other things such as new features, perk balancing, etc. In a perfect world where we could squeeze as much as we want into a single update, these sorts of reworks would probably be more common, but sadly that is just not possible. Everything comes with a tradeoff.

As for why these sorts of reworks aren't the highest priority, this is where it gets a bit more complex. First off, we're at the point where there are 32 Killers in the game and counting. Even assuming that each Killer is played exactly equally, this would mean that each Killer is only seen in a little over 3% of all matches. Spending a significant amount of time on an update that only affects ~3% of matches is harder to justify when it means sacrificing new highly requested features or a bunch of perk updates which could impact all matches.

Beyond that, there is only so much we can do to make a Killer appealing to everyone. Different Killers focus on different playstyles. Some may be focused on setting traps, others on keeping Survivors busy, some on chases, and so on. These different playstyles can help fill different niches. A newer player who's having a hard time finding Survivors might be drawn to The Doctor, for example. Naturally, certain playstyles become more successful in high end matches and others fall out of favour. Experienced Survivors, for example, are less likely to stumble into a trap because they know what to look out for and can predict where the Killer may have placed them. Each power also has a different skill ceiling, so while some allow you to continue improving almost endlessly, others have an upper limit by virtue of their design.

Making each Killer equally strong at the highest skill levels is not the goal. Dead by Daylight is for everyone, not just the few at the very top. Often times these Killers are already doing pretty well in the vast majority of matches even if they fall out of favour in higher end matches. In these cases, buffing these Killers to the point where they are competitive in a high end match would cause them to be far too strong in the majority of matches. This is a net-negative change. While yes, it may be better for you, it makes things worse for the majority of players. Everyone's experience matters, not just those with more skill. In reality, it is not possible for every Killer to be equally viable at all skill levels.

Something else that we need to consider are the players who already enjoy these Killers the way they are. Legion is a perfect example of this. There's no shortage of suggestions to rework The Legion's power to make them stronger. Yet in spite of this, The Legion is consistently one of the most played Killers. While they might not be the strongest in high end matches, there is still a large crowd who enjoy them as is. That raises the question, is it worth reworking a Killer that many people already love to play just to make the people who don't play them happy?

The Trapper is also a special case. He's the poster boy, front and center on all the artwork. He's the Killer you'll face and play as during the tutorials, and he's unlocked by default. This is all very intentional; new players are naturally going to gravitate towards him. His power is very simple and easy to understand, and it tends to be fairly balanced in matches between newer players. He serves a special role of being a stepping stone toward learning the game. Because of this, his power is intentionally kept as simple and intuitive as possible (pick up a trap, set a trap), and he is intended to be fairly balanced in these sorts of games.

All this said, that doesn't mean we'll completely ignore these Killers. We do make smaller balance changes on a regular basis, and larger reworks are still planned to release from time to time. But we do need to keep everyone in mind when making these decisions and consider the role they currently fill in the game, as well as whether or not our time would be better spent on balance changes that could affect all players rather than a select few matches. It would be a different story if there were only a handful of Killers to choose from, but the roster is fairly big at this point. The goal isn't so much to make every last one of them perfect for everyone, but to make sure that there's at last few options that appeal to everyone, regardless of how they play.

Here are my 2 cents, i do not want to be rude so everything here is meant to be constructive even though my english is not perfect, it might sound badly.

    • we do not want perks balancing, the priority should be around core balancing, the game is broken, perks have an impact way too big on the outcome of the trial. Regarding the resources needed to fix the game, BHVR has decided to accumulate perks and killers without adressing the core issue. Now you end up with 32 killers and hundreds of perks to balance/rework. We, the players, have never asked for all this and we have complained about the balance of the game since day

    • We request that the game is balanced and playable for every killers in the roster, that is actually not the case. Again, that is the priorities you have chosen, not the community.

    • So why are we forced to play with a SBMM if some killers have an upper limit regarding the result they can expect ? And why do i end up, with tier C/D killers, against SWFs S.W.A.T squads ?

    • Reworking a killer does not necessarily mean to tweak all its power...

    • Okay so the trapper is meant to play against new survivors. Give the community the information regarding which player is able to compete at high level, like this next time, good player will know they should not buy that new killer cause it is tier C.

    • The whole community has complained about the balance of the game, it should be top 1 in your priorities, it looks like it is not. For a game where the devs crew say it is a ompetitive game, this information you have just given us fall short.

Just make killers have a bigger skillceiling, the toughest killer main with legion cant win against a pro swf, no matter how good is he. but if would legion have some advanced mechanic that requires months to master then he could stand a chance if he has the skill. also dont know what features you speaking of, no new gamemechanic, gamemode nothing, the lastest was boons and endgame collapse... you mentioned perkbalancing, you guys just endlessly "balancing" perks and those ending up with colse to useless or some other being overpowerd, you guys some what fix something and then 2 other problems appear. plus half the killers are oboslete, yeah they look good on paper sure, but they cant compete on higher mmr lobbies, they need rework or buff, thats why i asked for higher skill ceiling and reworks. and not to mention that the game has countless issues as well that are not even a huge problems to solve but we often wait YEARS to you guys fix it, like maps, perks, basic game features, like searchbar, match history, profile, statistics, some perk changes that only needs small tweaking like lowering some numbers or raising on some perks. some killers need inclined shots like demo or doc..etc.. a could endlessly talk about those. and the favorite of mine is when statistics and community feedbacks are telling that something needs to chanage and the dev team just ignores it and buff or nerf some not problematic aspects. and yeah still a lot of players still playing legion beacuse they love something about the killer, but in terms of strenght is weak, but we must play what you guys put on the table, ppl even eat poop if they love something on a killer, that dosent mean that killer is good. i personally love doctor but he sucks ass, but im completly likeing his art design and madness, but he has so many issues man, some times i dont even know why i play him, we dont need new killers and maps, just fix the game! im sorry but what are you guys even doing there.

    Cause they fix nothing.

BHVR have used perks as band aid to balance a game that is totally unbalanced at its core.

    • tons of pallets/windows
    • loops that are way too strong espeially if survivors combine/connects loops together
    • gens are too fast

Only tunneling/camping is working with most killers at high level and yet, if the survivors use OTR, you are doomed. 3-gening is a boring strategy.

So devs are creating perks and add-ons to compensate.

Easiest exemple is Myers that is totally trash but use the instant kill add-ons then he is good enough. And it is like this for most killers.

That game will never be properly balanced.

Back in 2022, BHVR has made an overall of the game, buffing killers and nerfing survivors and still survivors are way too strong...

  • @rvzrvzrvz said:

    • Prove Thyself - dead
    • BNP - dead
    • Gens - longer
    • Self Healing - heavily nerfed
    • Numerous survivor sided maps - heavily reworked to make them less survivor sided

I don't even know what people want anymore. They've addressed almost every killer complaint and people still whine. What is even left other than toolboxes and maybe a few maps? Both of which have been partially addressed with the BNP change and map reworks. At some point it becomes a git gud issue. As killer you can literally dodge an infinite amount of lobbies and shop for an easy match due to how killers are able to see prestiges, hours, etc. The game is as easy as you want it to be as killer.

You're entitled to your own opinion but I think you're intentionally embellishing for dramatic flair.

90% escape rate? Thats very difficult for me to believe. If you're such a DBD survivor savant why even play killer? Show us some gameplay? Talk is cheap.

Going on and on about "meta" perks with survivors is the very definition of using bad logic. A lot of survivors (including myself) never use meta perks. That pretty much shatters all the bad faith arguments constantly being parroted by killer mains .

Solo queue is an abysmal state. And has been for a long time. The myth that hud changes made a significant change to solo queue is demonstrably false. It was a basic QOL feature that shouldn't have taken 7 years to implement.

I cannot speak for SWF and "Seal Team Six" squads that killer mains constantly use as reasons to buff killers for. BHVR's own stats have dis spelled this myth but yet, its used in bad faith as justification for massive changes when killers get smoked by coordinated people who know how to deal with killers that can only hard tunnel and proxy camp for their wins.

Believe it or not, before the game's overall i had an escape rate around 90%. My SWFs was extremely high skilled so it helped a lot.

Today my SWFs is good but not top tier and still i escape 70%+ of the time and we get 3E more than often.

You maybe do not use META perks but 99% of the survivors at my MMR use them, i don't see your point here lol...

Why do i play killer ? Cause i like the characters even though the game is totally unbalanced.

SoloQ is abysmal when you do not play META perks and so end up in the ELO hell. If you escape a lot, you reach high MMR and you often have great teammates.

HUD changed a lot the soloQ experience at high level, the extra infos i get help me to decide what to do and when to do it.

BHVR perfectly know good SWFs destroys most killer players adn they should balance the game around high skill level, not to please bad players.

Edit : and to show you i'm objective about the game's state, devs should nerf Blight and Nurse, deeply, those killers are completely broken and unhealthy for the overall design of the game.

The fact that Wesker was able to grab fully infected survivor seems like it was never intended in the first place so at most you should have been just slapping them for a health state. Additionally, your ping is variable especially given that you can't check your ping to the server unless you are survivor so I doubt your ping was just 30 ms.

Everytime i look my ping is 30. There is no variable ping unless you have a terrible internet provider...

Killers don't need anything right now except for maybe changing unfun mechanics or perks.

If you can't win 7 out of 10 matches then it's a you-problem, sorry. Just play efficiently and you should win most games.

There was a time when this game was definitely surv sided and you could load into a solo surv match and have a good chance of winning, right now it's definitely not like that.

If the killer does not camp/tunnel, it won't win against a competent team.

If you cannot win soloQ trials, the problem is actually on your side and you are playing at an average or bad MMR.

  • If you do not do the plaything totem, you 100% counter the petimento :)

SWFs do it pretty well and it is infuriating.

    PTB bug fixes had this

    • "When Wesker performs a Virulent Bound on a fully-infected survivor vaulting a pallet or window, the survivor will no longer incorrectly be grabbed and slammed"

    Okay.

Well they wen too far then. I did not grab a survivor that jsut started the vault animation on a window, he was still on my side, on the ground, just started the animation like 1ms before my power hit and i did not grab him.

Same at a pallet, i started to launch my power when the survivor was on my side of the pallet, my grab was cancelled and i got stunned by the pallet.

I have 30ms ping, so it looks like they have given the survivors are tolerance window of 500ms...

What percentage of DbD's playerbase is "good"?

Should those Killers all just be buffed to compete with good players and just have them totally curbstomp average players?

Average players can and must improve. That's not by baby-sitting them that you will invite them to improve their skill level.

  • @Sharby said:

That's how it should be an exactly how we start making the killer take skill.

I do not say the changes are unfair, but they are not in the patch notes.

And well, catching a survivor mid vault should result in a grab, especially if the survivor is still on the killer's side of the vault.

  • @I_CAME said:

People complaining when nearly everything killers have complained about has already been nerfed. It's just trolling at this point

    • Every objective metric shows that the game is slightly killer sided on average. Both third party and official statistics.
    • Dead Hard - dead
    • Decisive Strike - dead
    • Circle of Healing - dead
    • Iron Will - dead

    • New HUD to give more infos to no-SWFs
    • MFT + Hope + Resilience + Arenaline
    • Distorsion
    • New BNP is pretty strong actually

It has never been easier to win as survivor. High MMR survivors have an easy time in soloQ/DuoQ, i personnaly do. Let's not talk about SWFs as on my side we get 3 escapes most of the times.

I dunno how survivor mains can even think that the game is not survivor sided or balanced. It is not balanced and that is why there are less and less killers.

I'm a 50/50 players. I will admit that i escape way less than before the overall of the game, at that time i had above 90% escape rate in SWFs; today it is around 75/70% in SWFs. It is still way too high.

The last changes the devs have brought to the table have just made the game worse gameplay wise, many things are frustrating : long healing, no self heal possible, longer gens. But they have also brought some perks that make the chases extremely easy : MFT and WOO mostly. Resilience stack with those perks perfectly and then use Botany/Distorsion/WWMI/Adrenaline/Hope and you have a perfect META build, unbeatable by most killers if all 4 survivors use it.

The killers kill rate in the stats provided by the devs means nothing as the MMR will give you an impossible to win trial and once you have lost once or twice iwith those parameters, the MM will give you easy games to even out the kill rate around 60%.

If you look in tournament, the kill rate is barely 50% while the survivors have huge restriction on their build (single perk, single&low grade item etc...).

The game is still extremely survivor sided. I do not say that killers cannot win those games, they can but they have to try hard so much compared to survivors that this is not fair at all.

I think crowman gave a more reasonable explanation, would you rather play a new character with goofy voicelines and cool perks or a killer that got nerfed? Its a very predictable outcome.

As i have said, yesterday NC was not released and survivors queue times were really long as well.

Sure, the NC release today adds to the already long queue times...

  • @Crowman said:

Nic Cage literally came out today. I imagine a lot of people are trying to play as Nic Cage and mess with his perks.

Yesterday it was the same and NC was not released yet

  • In soloQ i might be around 40 to 50% escape rate.

    In SWF i'm around 75% i guess.

  • I have been extremely negative towards some decisions the devs have taken the last few months/years but i have to admit that this time, they have listened to the community and the changes are good.

I have to try the killer to see how it goes but on the paper it is way better than the changes in the test build.

    So thanks devs.

They just announced that you now get 2 stacks of condemnation for losing a health state from taking a hit and it breaks the tape. This could be good but survivors can still completely avoid the condemnation all they have to do is grab a tape stop to stop gaining condemnation from teleports. Then once the killer finds them before they get hit and the tape gets destroyed and they gain two stacks. All they gotta do is hop in a locker and boom you just dodge condemnation entirely.

This change only made it so that Sadako can now steamroll over new survivors and survivors who don't understand her power and still don't address the fact that the best of the best can still make you an m1 killer with an okay teleport power.

Make it so that if they are holding a tape and they get hooked they gain at least 2 stacks of condemnation.

Well, doing so is not worth it to my mind. The survivor will be caught after a 5 seconds chase, survivors are loosing entirely the chase time needed to complete gens.

  • @Kius said:

    toolboxes still untouched.

the 10 seconds extra did absolute nothing.

tons of BNP being used before the patch.

Just come up and say that there's barely decent perks that somehow can do decent vs competent survivors.

    SB untouched

    Lithe untouched

    Resilience untouched

    We will make it untouched

    WOO untouched

MFT won't be touched for at least 6 months

  • Fact that all killers are using 4 gen slowdown perks means a lot. It means you cannot win at all without them thanks to a bad game design.

If a survivor plays perfectly, most killers cannot catch them in less than 2 minutes - that is the main problem with the game. Killers, beside Nurse/Blight, can only capitalize on survivors' mistakes, they cannot outplay the survivors with skill.

That is why really good survivors can be chased for 2 minutes against really good killers and why streamers (even the Fog Whisperers) have to tunnel right at the start in their trials.

    Delusional take.

    That's completely recency bias talking.

Look at your killers lobbies, look at mine... we do not play at the same skill level so i do not even know who is biased here.

Having thousands of hours on DbD and not understanding that MFT is actually way stronger than the old DH is unbelievable 😂

Turn on crossplay to play against PC players and then we will talk ;)

  • Do the maths, that is all.

Everytime you draw 5 meters with the killer you get 2 extra seconds of chase with MFT. It means that when the killer breaks a pallet or vault a window you get 2s of extra chase with MFT. Those 2 seconds can be used to reach a new loop 90% of the time.

Old DH gave you that extra time only once per chase. With MFT you get those 2 seconds till you get down.

That is pure logic, i do not even udnerstand how you cannot see it.

I loop way longer with MFT than what i was able to do with old DH.

  • @nars said:

play nurse for 5000h full meta hard tunneling every survivor

is what I would say if killer was this absolutely useless role getting crushed every match. Sure 4 man swfs can be difficult but theres virtually no difference between a good 4 swf and 4 great solos. You can beat 4 great solos, you can beat a 4 man swf. Most killers will be able to get a 2k here, maybe not a 4k but tunneling will grant you that 2k.

So the fact that a killer is forced to tunnel right at the start to get a 2k against good survivors is the definition of a balanced game ? 🤡

So if I post screenshots that makes it true?

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/UVO4VFZ3LCX9/funny-items.jpg

Oh no! Two BNPS's and the Survivors still lost. Game must be Killer-sided.

You cannot prove anything from screenshots.

13k during the event with 5 cakes. Also it seems they had restriction on perks usage as every perk is single in the survivor team. Also, you obviously tunneled right at the start.

And survivors do not even stack META perks, your lobbies are far from the ones i get, that is why your killer experience feels better and fairer than mine.

A screenshot gives many informations ;).

  • MFT is better than 1.6.0 DH.

DH gave you a distance boost to reach a single pallet, then you were exhausted and could not use it again to reach another pallet. MFT gives you a constant 3% haste that will allow you to reach multiple pallets in a single chase.

As said before, old DH was visually impressive and frustrating for the killer. Visually, MFT does nothing impressive, you just see a survivor running faster.

But MFT transform some semi unsafe tiles into pretty safe tiles. Also, MFT adds new viable choke points in many tiles and jungle gyms.

It is completely busted. Do the maths and see for yourself.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/382906/all-my-lobbies-as-killer-are-like-this

People who say all they face is SWF are lying. Sure, I get games like this too - but not "all my lobbies are like this".

All lobbies at high MMR are like this. There are many SWFs but not only. You can also face 4 really good survivors.

When i soloQ as a survivor, it is the same, killers cannot do much to be honest.

2 posts above is a game as survivor soloQ. The killer did 1 or 2 hooks only, i do not remember.

  • MFT + Resilience new META has made my survivor's games really easy and well, if you are a decent looper, MFT adds a ton of new choke points that arenot viable without it.

Semi-safe tiles become safe tiles if you know where to place your survivor. Also, after a stun or a vault, i can reach loops i would not be able to reach without it, the killer loosing its bloodlust if it is breaking the pallet...

Well, MFT is busted in the good hands and extend chases far too much, way more than the old DH.

  • Mixed, some changes were needed, some were not.

Devs have nerfed gen regress perks while they should have create an anti-tunnel mechanic isntead.

Also some new perks replaced the old DH/DS and are insanley strong - MFT/Resilience/Hope

Well, the META has changed, the unbalance of the game has not.
