See,pallet validation USED to exist. Around 5.1.0 when they added it,it was PERFECT. There was visual feeedback, that the killers did get mad about, but it was,in fact, perfect. Nowadays you can get reversed and get hits that dont connect even on your end as KILLER!
I dont know what they tuned about it,but it's just non-existent anymore. General hit valdation was also something they said they added many, many times, but killers with 400 ms ping still hitting you from Mars speaks to the contrary.
Yup, they have been lying about it.
Same when they shadow nerf/buff things. In DbD, it is usual...

Have played this since almost day one, split 50/50 survivor and killer, have been playing killer main past couple of years and it has had its ups and downs, killer now I feel is unplayable and pardon the pun wil kill this game, fewer people are playing killer despite what the devs may tell you with “their algorithms”.When all the decent killers go I ask what’s the sound of one hand clapping…….
Fun is dead and buried for both sides.
Even with my SWF, we do not have fun and barely play 1h without feeling the need to close that trash game.
Survivor's games are camp/tunnel 99% of the time.
Killer's games are either too easy either impossible to win.
Both sides, mostly totally unskilled are just cheasing their victory with broken way of playing - killers are hard camping/tunneling; survivors are using busted items/add-ons and all 4 are stacking the same META perks.
That is how DbD has become in 2023. It is an extremely bad game now - everything is bad about it - maps' design, powers' design, 3 gen strategy, camping/tunneling strategy, gen rush strategy i mean honestly, everything is completely off.
Those devs have succeeded where everyone else has failed - making a multiplayer videogame extremely bad for both sides.
No wonder why everyone is starting to leave : no one plays Alien anymore, half the killer roster is never played, 80 to 90% of the trials are unfun, matchmaking is one of the worst i have seen, hit validation is trash...
Well, i was playing 30h per week at the start of 2023, i'm now barely playing 3h a week. Playing since 2017, have just seen that games becoming worst and worst every updates since the globale perks overall.
-
Hit validation has been shadow removed. They have said nothing about it but seeing the amount of terrible hits i get, it is obviously not enabled.
Today i was behind an injured teammate to get a protection hit, the killer hit me (i was right behind my mate) and it is my mate that went down....
That killer gave so many 400 ping hits in this game, i do not even know how it is possible that BHVR allow those players to play on EU servers.

A 50% win rate is fine. It's the "why" that I get very frustrated with. Most losses on solo survivor feel very contrived to me. They don't feel like the result of an organic relative skill vs relative skill 4v1. More often than not, the skill difference between 4 survivors is massive in my lobbies. And I find myself narrating out loud how the game is about to be thrown like some sort of solo queue Nostradamus.
"Hey Jake, you can't be there. Save or don't, but you can't just hang out there. You're going to get found and slugged under the hook." (Immediately gets found and slugged under the hook as the hooked person reaches struggle state)
"Claud, you need to stop and heal. You got found out of position and went down immediately the last time you tried to do a gen injured." (Immediately goes down again as soon as the chase indicator starts) "Ok."
If i play soloQ, i know how the trial will end BEFORE the trial starts, just by checking the profile in steam, sometimes, only the nicknames used are enough to know how bad a survivor will be.

Spaghetti code is not the only possible reason for any bug happening, and as you just said you do not have any idea what caused the bug…
When something (flashlight) is not linked to lockers in any given way (no interaction at all), only spaghetti can explain such a bug.
-
Spaghetti does such weird things 😂
Honestly, who would think that using the flashlight while going to a locker would do this ? How is it even possible ? Lockers and flashlights have no interaction at all
-
The problem with soloQ is that most survivors do nothing. Try it for yourself, check how long it takes for the other 3 survivors to touch a gen.
I have had many games (most of them) where the other 3 survivors do absolutely nothing for more than 5 minutes. Nothing, they do not do chest, do not do gens, do not do totems.
Sometimes one of them is in chase, i do a gen and the 2 others do nothing at all for minutes.
THAT's the main problem with the game. The matchmaking doesn't help as it gathers trash survivors with extremely good survivors... giving a terrible experience for all players, killers included.

Yeah I've said before that I'm starting to think the poor matchmaking is intentional. They want killrates at around 60% and the matchmaking is just one aspect that helps that.
Exactly. My take is that the gen regression perks nerf and the new MFT META has significantly deacrease the killrate.
1 month+ ago, my soloQ games were really good and i had a 70% escape rate (in solo). My teammates were good to really good. Then the matchmaking has been changed, it is really obvious, just to keep the 60% kill rate.
But what the devs do not understand is that winning or loosing does not equal fun and using the kill rate as the only metric that is important is a bad idea.
All my games as a soloQ/duoQ survivor and as a killer are extremely unfun today. Stomping survivors is not fun, even though my kill rate is 70% and being stomped by killers because my teammates are bad, not because the killers are good is not fun at all.
The fun is 4 survivors of the same skill level vs a killer of the same skill level.
Well, with the current state of the MM, i think DbD will slowly die now, there is no way the soloQ/duoQ players will continue to play as pretty much every trials are bad.
And for killers, players that want a challenge will also stop to play, most of them have already stopped and only hard camper/tunneler are left.
-
@Nazzzak said:
I can't speak for everyone but I go into every match expecting to die. Inadvertently, that might make me play less than optimal sometimes. To me, there's no point in sweating or going all out when the game is designed for solo queue to lose more than they win. It's almost like clockwork at this point whereby I know when to bring BPS and escape cake because I know I'm due for an easier game/s and when to not bother wasting my offerings because I'm due for a more difficult one. There's no in-between.
Fact is 4 good survivors in soloQ can win 80% of their games.
The problem comes from the matchmaking that mix ppl of highly different skill level.
In my games, i have survivors that do not do gens, really, they don't. Sometimes i finish 2 gens while they ahve barely touch a single one.
And most of all, those same survivors go down in 10 seconds against any killer...
2 months ago i did not have those players in my games and i was escaping a lot in soloQ.
In my today's game, there is always 2 gens left and i have done 2 or 3 out of the 3 that has been done... those devs honestly are really bringing DbD in the worst direction they can,
I'm wondering if it is on purpose, or because they do not care at all or if they honestly have no clue about it...
-
Survivors so trash that they are able to not touch a single gen for 5 minutes and for real, it is not a joke...
-
soloQ was not that bad 1 or 2 months ago.
Devs have tweaked the matchmaking and all my games went from being good in soloQ to totally trash with extremely awful survivors.

wdym only manageable in SWFs? It's an interaction between 1 survivor and the killer, just learn chases as a survivor lol.
Ye, cause in soloQ you are responsible of the skill level and behavior of the other survivors whil you can't even communicate with them right ?
Same if survivors do not do gens, it is your own fault right ?
-
@Crowman said:
Because it's not meant to be an anti-camping mechanic.
It's an anti-facecamping mechanic. Killers are still allowed to defend hooks, they just won't be able to park themselves in front of the hook doing nothing else.
Ye, tell me the game will never improve without telling me it will never improve.
DbD has never been in such a disgusting state. Pretty much all the fun has been removed from it. Time for this game to get the playerbase it deserves.
-
@Bran said:
I mean, killers can't just down someone. That takes time if your good enough to loop. A genuine almost 30 seconds of guaranteed looping. That's no fun to the killer.
Of course different players. A really good killer could down someone very early, but even still.
The killer being able to knock the same guy is fair and shouldn't be punished or changed.
The fact that you can loop a killer for 1 minute is a bad game design also.
But forcing chases to end in 15 seconds would also be a bad design.
The problem with DbD is that the overall game objectives + mechanics are terrible. The global game design is terrible. And i believe huge asymmetrical games (4vs1) are garbage by design.
Mindgame and outplaying the opposite team should be rewarding and requires teamplay, skill etc... In DbD, the only way to outplay the opposite teams are boring, unfun and stale ways to play.

We can't really every know if MFT did decrease kill rates, but the ######### up matchmaking is definitely partially at fault for games feeling incredibly bad.
Well i'm sure that the matchmaking does everything to keep the stats where the devs want them to be - 60% kill rate
One month+ ago i did many soloQ testing and quality of my trials was mostly great with survivors and killers of the same skill level.
After that i have only played with my SWF, winning 80% of the trials.
Now, it has been two weeks i'm starting again to play soloQ from time to time, my MMR is supposed to be exactly the same than during my previous testing.
The quality of my trials have decreased by a lot. I end up playing with survivors that have 500h and the killers can have from 200h to 8000 hours.
I'm pretty sure the stats have been messed up with the gen regress perks + MFT and the devs have been forced to change the MM to keep the kr at 60%.
That's what i believe and that is the only reason that comes to my mind. There is no reason that the MM was working great 1 month+ ago and now it is messed up.
-
Give me one killer that actually requires skill to go against ?
As a survivor, it is either a safe loop you can drop the pallet and go away with it, either it is an unsafe loop or a window vault and it is a guessing games.
80% of the DbD core chase gameplay revolves around guessing. There is no skill involved at all as a survivor.
-
Games quality has decreased, A LOT.
Honestly i had way better games with the old rank system. Today, most trials are a mess in soloQ. It was not the case 1 month ago, the MM was working great for me but i think the devs have tweaked the parameters.
I'm pretty sure it went as this :
- devs have nerfed gen regress
- devs have created a new META with MFT
- devs have seen a huge decrease in kill rate
- they have tweaked the MM settings to inflate the kill rate artificially
That is the way they are working for 2 years now. Instead of fixing the game, they change the MM algorithm to keep the kill rate around 60%.
That is why you get 3 impossible to win trials with a total of 4 kills (4 out of 12 = 33%) and then you get 2 extremely easy trials with 4 kills each (8 out of 8 = 100%) and it is magic, yo uget a 60% kill rate even though all 5 trials were trash.

I can understand the frustration, but at least one good drawback of the stronger Survivor perks is being gated behind Exhaustion. That means you can only bring 1 (or 2 in specific scenarios) at a time. At the same time a Killer can bring Pop/Eruption/PR all together. Now in a sense it does kind of balance itself, because the Killer's lack of intel and lethality will bite them mid match, but if 1 Survivor doesn't play against 4 slowdown correctly the map will be devoid of pallets and the Killer will win through attrition alone.
As Ghosty, no other Endurance perk makes me happier than MfT, because that means they can't have Sprint Burst instead, and stealth skips chase when done correctly (healthy or injured). That mutually exclusive nature makes Killer fun in a rock paper scissors kind of way.
There are 4 survivors, usually they all bring the perks listed above so you have to deal with multiple MFT/SB/DH etc... it is extremely frustrating.
-
No OP perks for killers but a ton that are really boring to play against :
- Pop
- POR
- Jolt
- Eruption
- Petimento
- Sloppy
Those perks are just boring, removing the progress you have made threw the trials is just an awful game design choice. Sloppy transforming healing into a pain in the ass.
Same for survivors, all the perks that increase artificially the chases duration are terrible design choices :
- DH
- MFT
- SB
- Lithe
In fact, everything impacting gen speed, healing speed, running speed is a result of trash game design.
Devs should have balanced the game around maps' layouts, number of pallets/windows, killers' power etc...
They should have never created perks that are changing the action/interactions speed at all. There is nothing more frustrating than repairing a gen to 90% to see it goes down back to 65% or to see that you need ages to heal one health state.
As a killer, there is nothing more frustrating than facing 20 pallets on a game or heavily survivor sided maps' layouts or being forced to deal with MFT/Lithe/Hope/SB.

And this one thing leads you to the conclusion, the devs wouldnt care about a part of the playerbase? A bit overreacting for me.
Actually the fast vault has always been long enough to avoid a hit. I dunno where you have seen that old fast vault were as the ones we get today cause it was not the case at all.

They do not exist at all now, the hit validation being back to killer sided. I have played against 100+ ping killers and all the hits are bs, clearly validated on their side and not by the server.
-
Everything becomes broken in this game.
Being hit while vaulting a pallet, when you are on the other side of the pallet, is bs.
All vault window hits are bs.
Being hit while dropping a pallet is bs.
Being hit byt the Alien's tail while it is 3 meters on the side of your charater is bs.
Devs are breaking eveyrthing, making the core gameplay totally unfair BECAUSE they are unable to balance the game properly.

So like 3% of the player base??? Oh nice
97% of the playerbase would loose against a barely average Myers without pink add-ons so...
And there are way more SWFs than what you think, playing soloQ/duoQ is so miserable right now, i refuse to believe that many players are still playing this way...
-
The SBMM* does not help at all for 2 reasons :
- the SBMM is way to loose so there is no real high MMR pool. In soloQ you will be mixed with barely average players even though you are top 1%
- the devs refuse to balance the game for high skill players
So you end up with kill rate statistics that are completely unreliable as top 5% survivors will face many new killer players. Top 5% killers will also face many squad of soloQ players with bad to really good players mixed together.
All those trials of extremely low quality (the majority of the trials we play today) will give you flawed statistics.
Devs are using those unreliable statistics to balance the game around the above average skill level.
It doesn't work cause they do not approach balancing with a scientist methodology (relying on unreliable numbers with a flawed matchmaking). With those 2 aspects of the system, there is no way they have the informations needed to do a proper balance patch... and balancing around the average skill level will always be terrible for high level and low level players.
However, low and average skill level players can improve, high level players are already at the top...
-
If all your team is setting up turrets, it is pretty easy to loop the killer :
- set turrets in order for them to be behind the killer when you will loop the tile
- when chased, go to the loop with the turret
- when the turret starts firing, the killer will have to turn around to destroy it -> hold W and change tile, you can also pre-drop the pallet if needed to gain more time
- repeat
The most important thing to do is to set all the turrets availalbe, without turrets the killer is extremely strong but turrets are a really good counter to Alien.
Also you can dodge the tail hits at pallet and windows as you would dodge Nemesis' tentacle or Wesker's power.
-
Plot Twist : Alien is a tier B killer totally powerless against good SWFs

That data wouldn't be particularly relevant, new perks are always likely to get used more. It's how it affects gameplay over time that's more important to see. Sometimes it's apparent immediately with win rates etc, some times that takes time to ascertain.
It means we won't see any changes about MFT for at least 3 to 6 months, great... it is not as if the community had said this perk was busted during the PTB...
Also the broken FTP + BU combo will stay around for months as well...
Be ready for killers deserting the game, next week will be full of BU + FTP combo, it is wide spread on youtube, content creators have abused this combo for the last couple days, enjoy your tourment killers, you are the victims of the trials now 😂
Soon survivors will have a perk to hook the killer and offer it to the entity.

I have over 3,000 hours in the game, 1.5k hours in killer with almost every single one prestiged 3 times if not more. So now that I've met your requirements for speaking about balance...
Nic Cage was released 2 weeks ago, not 1 year ago. Before his release, survivor queues were fine and even after his release, queue times aren't even that bad.
Yes, some killers are worse against SWFs, but all killers have successfully competed in tournaments with positive outcomes, including Trapper.
Not to mention, killers have a 60% kill-rate, across the board, on average.
Again, how does it make sense to balance the entire game against the 4% of players who play 4-man SWFs. The game wasn't even designed with SWFs in mind. The developers will never balance the game so that only 4% of players in 4-man SWFs because that would mean 96% of players would always lose.
Is that what you are asking for, 96% of players to lose 100% of that killers can win 60% of the time against 4% of the player base? That is what it sounds like you are saying?
- Survivor queues were fine cause there was the event and it was way easier to unlock everything with the killers :)
- All killers have successfully competed in tournament where there are perks and items restrictions which is not the case in pub games
- Once again, kill rate means nothing and you force with this while i have explained you 2 times already that 0k against a SWF + 1x3k and 1x4k against trash survivors = 60%, the game against the SWF was still unbalanced.
- We do not know the rate at which killers face SWFs, higher the MMR higher the number of SWFs, also 4 really good soloQ will also win most of their trials, i have proved it many times here, with screenshots and VOD.
- There is a MMR, average killers will face average survivors and bad killers will face bad survivors, everything should work fine if the game is balanced - devs can also changes the parameters depending the MMR you play on. I ask 50% win rate for killers at high MMR. WIN RATE not kill rate.
Bad players can improve and get better, good killers have to deal with impossible trials half the time.

I want fair games where the best killer players playing a low tier killer can outplay the best SWFs without exploiting tunneling/camping.
"I want best soloQ to be able to win against best S+ tier killer without exploiting meta builds and splitting on gens or genrushing - if this is not possible, the game is not balanced".
Sounds stupid right? You need to compare same stuff to same stuff. Still - low-tier killer still has it better then average soloQ. Or on the other hand - best killers with best addons should have about 50% kill rate against most sweaty team-seal SWF group.
That's what I call fair - and comparing apples to apples, instead of weakest on one side vs strongest on other side. Next you are going to compare perkless addonless trapper that just installed the game vs full-tryhard Hen's group without any limitations and call the game survivor sided. So disingenuous!
You want survivors that play terribly and unoptimally to be able to win agaisnt the best killer, that is not what balance is called, sry.
Why do you always bring soloQ on the table ? That is a 4 survivors vs 1 killer game.
For Overwatch, do you ask that the balance is made around 5 soloQ vs 1 team ? No so why do you do it on DbD ? This community has really a casual players problem, if you want a casual gameplay, go play Battlefield or PvE games.
-
When you get tunneled 1 out of 3 games, you cry right ? It is not a big deal though, seeing how you do not care about the overall health of the game.
Funny enough that you are all focusin on Blast mine while it is not the main subject of the thread. I will assume you all agree on MFT + Resilience - BU + FTP are OP combos and that all those perks need a huge nerf :)

Nic Cage's release = long queue times.
No, 60% kill-rate is not balanced, 50% kill-rate is balanced. Killers have an extra 10% kills and you are asking for way more. Solo-queue would be at a 100% kill-rate if the game was balanced around the 4% of 4-man SWFs. That's absolutely not balanced.
So, what do you want, that is reasonable?
Will you use the N. Cage release for 1 year ? There is barely any N. Cage survivor in lobby now.
The problem comes from the gen regression perk nerf and the new busted survivors perks.
Go play killer for 1000h and then come back to talk about the balance.
If killers cannot get 50% wins against strong SWFs, the game is unbalanced and the game is survivor sided, period, there is nothing more to discuss here.
Balance game = 50% wins for a good Myers against a good SWFs.
The MM is artificially giving 60% kill rate. If the killer looses one game with 0k, the next two games will be against terrible survivors just to inflate the kill rate and keep it at 60%.
Balance of a game is not studied through multiple games but through a single trial. How are the odds that a good Myers/Trapper/Wraith wins against a good SWFs ? Barely 10%.
Let's take anotehr exemple that you understand clearly. You are a tennis player, you loose against Djokovic and then i give you a game against two 6 years old child and you win both matches. Your win rate is 66%, was the match against Djokovic balanced ?

There's no statistics showing there are less killer players. There are statistics showing killers having a 60% kill-rate and survivors have a 40% escape rate. There is also lot of talk on the forums about survivors suiciding-on-hook and DCing a lot, which indicates that survivors are not having fun at the game. I don't see any chatter on the forums indicating that killers are DCing in epidemic proportions.
Are you not getting a 60% kill rate when you play killer? What are you wanting?
Statistics showing less killer players = queue times
They are longer than a few months back even though the number of players on steam is exactly the same.
I want fair games where the best killer players playing a low tier killer can outplay the best SWFs without exploiting tunneling/camping.
Is it possible ? No, the game is unabalanced.
If the MM gives you 1 game against a SWF that you cannot win at all, you get 0k and then give you 2 games against bad survivors where you get 4k and 3k.
It is 7k for 12k possible, around 60% - is the game balanced because you have had 60% kr ? No it is not, there is still an unbeatable SWFs that gave you a miserable unwinnable game.
Balanced game = both sides can win the trial no matter the killer you have chosen, you just need to be the better team.
In DbD, the good SWFs will win 99% of the time, period, the game is totally unbalanced.
Edit : also i want the nurse and the blight nerfed heavily. There is a 1000 win streak with Blight, something that should not exist in a balanced environement.

People playing this game currently, want it to stay how it currently is and are having fun playing it as it currently is. Asking for changes indicates people might not be playing the right game.
So how do you justify all the changes in the past months/years ?
It is not because Uxoxe like to have ez games as a survivor that the whole community agree on it. Every players playing killer or both roles have the same mind about the current state of the game, it is awful for killers. The perk by itself without any counter is too strong, gueninely overpowered.
It is fine only against killers that have counters to hit - power or addons that counters it.
I still think it's a tad too strong
That's what Scoot Jund has said about the perk. When you want to use streamer's point of view, listen to them carefully before interpreting what they say in the wrong way.

There have been a ton of perks released to counter camping/tunneling : DH, DS, OTR, BT

SB+FTP+Buckle up surpasses any anti-tunnel perk that this game has ever seen. a strong 4 man SWF could legit do all 5 gens with 0 hook states the entire game vs large majority of the cast if they loop well enough with gen efficiency. it is so simple that even strong soloq player can use it with bond/empathy. here's simple steps.
1) 99% sb
2) follow any survivor that get chased while looping until they go down
3) activate SB and activate FTP+Buckle up as killer is in attack recovery
4) Repeat steps 1-3 with a different survivor
5) heal survivor after broken wears off and do gens.
It is like fighting an endless amount of uncounterable dead hard and off the records/old BT's that never end. even decisive strike at its prime where it had no skill-check, activated on every single pick-up with 0 activation requirements and had no conspicuous actions was not this powerful because it only activated once. This just activates an endless amount of times as long at least one survivor has a health-state to trade. playing against this is like playing against 4 man bodyblocking swf the entire game. it is why a lot of player would sometimes use pyramid head's force penance perk to try counter this in comp. luckily killer rarely ever go against this side of the game. there would be no killer players playing if this is all you went against. the most you will get in soloq is someone using this once or twice, so it is not big deal unless team has big coordination.
Even using this once or twice in a trial is more than enough for the survivors to win the trial.
Everytime survivors use it = 30 to 1 minute extra chase, especiall if they use MFT.
So using it twice = 2 minutes extra chase for free for a single hook stage.
2 minutes is enough for the 2 other survivors to do 2 gens.
As the 3 firest gen are usually completed during your first chase, game is over.
That's how powerfull those perks are.
Same for MFT, granting 30 seconds of extra chase for free to any survivor using it = game over ggez as 30 seconds 3 or 4 times during a trial = 2 minutes, again 2 gens.

The window for Survivors has been greatly enhanced in the latest patch, making killers other than nurses much harder to chase depending on the terrain. I'd like to play Killer for the first time in a while, but will there be an update that makes me want to do something?
If the devs do not do anything about MFT and Buckle up + buff back gen regression perks, your killer experience will be awful.

When the only way to win for most of the killer roster is to capitalize on survivors' mistakes, there is a huge problem (outside of tunneling).
It just means that if the survivors do not do any mistake or just a few ones, the game is unwinnable and that is how the game is designed right now. The killer is just a clown to entertain survivors at this point.
Too bad there are less and less Nurse/Blight players, would be so nice to have 99% of the games against those killers to bore survivor mains that they understand how unfun it is to play against busted things 99% of the time.

- nerfing DH and DS - adding MFT + Hope + Resilience combo next to it
- nerfing gen speed - buffing BNP
- nerfing syringue - new combo of perks being stronger
- nerfing healing - new NC perk to fully heal

At that point you just stop playing the game for a while. It's okay to take a break. Play something else for a while. I've been playing Risk of Rain 2 and I've been enjoying myself while I wait down this penalty decay because of my goofy ahh internet (when we have bots so a penalty shouldn't exist anymore).
No it is not okay.
I have never experienced this with Evolve or L4D for exemple.
DbD is the only game that often feels unfair on both sides. There is often this feeling that no matter what you do, you cannot win a game not because a lack of skill bu because the game design is broken.
You often do not fight against the opposite team but against the garbage game design.
I dunno why the devs do not fix it, it has been 7 years now...

Never in my life have I seen someone complain about Blast Mine of all things.
BNPs, I can get that.
Hope, so-so.
MFT, 100% understand.
But Blast Mine? Really?
4 survivors using blast mine when you play a pop the weasel build is infuriating.
It is as boring as, when you play survivor, to deal with Jolt - POR - Eruption combo.
Also the problem is not Blast Mine only, it is the synergie the survivors bring in SWFs. They stack boring perks and it feels toxic when you have to deal with a huge amount of impossible things to deal with.

This is unbearable!
Someone said on the forums that majority of SWF are just "cHIlL" friends playing together!
NO,THEY'RE NOT!
They are here to piss off and humiliate the killer!
That's what 90% of SWF are,a freaking challenge for themselves to see who's the worst type of person and get a prize called "Douche"!
Why does every game against SWF have to be a toxic hellscape,a nightmate, pain and humiliation!
Killers are people behind the monitor,it affects us when we have to put up with your crap all day long,so you can get 10 minutes of cheap smirks!
It's unbelivable the developers think the SWF are friends!
I'm sorry, developers, but there are so many more party games that do the fun aspect better, they're not playing DBD to have fun, well not at the expense of someone they aren't!
It has come to me beign afraid to bring a lower tier killer or be suspicious of an already formed 4 survivors in the lobby!
Why does every game, nowdays,be full on sweat and pain!
I haven' had a relaxing game as a killer in a full week
And I'm not even red rank, not like ranks matter anymore...
And I did count more than 3 escapes as a chill,as long as I lost because of my mistakes and not because of infinites and bad map design forced by survivors!
I do not think they intend to piss of the killer but they play for the win and the tools they have for it are so powerfull and annoying that it is really frustrating and toxic for the killer.
The devs have given tools to the survivors that would make rage quit any killer player.
My SWFs have pissed of so many killers just by playing (we did not want to piss the killer player at all) but :
- MFT + Resilience
- 1 or 2 Flashlight/pallet saves
- gen rush perks
- heal rush perks
- buckle up + FTP
- solo-ing all gens
Many killers DC, many rage in end chat... that is normal, the devs choices drive the killer players crazy.
Playing killer is like being a sandbag where one guy beat you while another one piss in your mouth while a 3rd one is putting ######### at under your nose and you cannot do anything about it. That's how playing killer feels today.

I had 2 of those games tonight. They weren't even good survivors. Red Forest map so plenty of pallets for them to prethrow. I was playing Clown. Decided not to tunnel to make it more fun. They did all generators in 5 minutes flat.
Played clown today as well for the event.
4 hooks, 5 gens done. Only one good looper, everyone else was terrible but they had the info i was coming before they could see me so they were able to draw distances with me before the chase.
It was enough for them to gen rush in a few minutes.
Only viable killers : Nurse, Blight, Wesker, Spirit.
Everything else is a pain in the ass against good surv.
