Thrill gives a notification when the totem is first started. And like I'm saying no notification makes it near impossible to hit the skill checks (run a full hex build heart attack, ruin, lulluby and thrill trust me no one will ever get anything)
-
Huntress lulluby at 5 tokens gives no indication of a skill check making you more likely to miss making you injured or even dying this is only exasperated by thrill causing you to wait for a notification protecting your totems and not the gens since the gens can't physically get done since there is no notification stacked onto losing health with a notification on the totems.

You should check out my scarecrow killer then.Divinitye9 said:Not a fan of a pitchfork. For some reason when I think of scarecrows and horror movies, I think of a scythe. Either the large scythe or the one handed sickle, either one would be quite cool on a killer like this.

Idk if Heart attack was used with huntress lulluby if could become a potentially op comboCashelP14 said:
Maybe but I think it isn't as bad as it sounds. Not a lot survivors miss skill checks in this game, unless they are low ranks. I feel also if you know the killer has the totem then it will stop survivors from working on generators. If it notified survivors that there was a totem when a skill check was hit then survivors can decide whether to risk it or not.Steamtastic_Vagabond said:I will say that Heart Attack sounds WAY too powerful even as a Hex Perk. Though it sounds like a good foundation for a killer power.
I've played survivor enough and dealt with ruin at rank 1 on a daily basis but I normally power through the first gen or two anyway. If the killer had this totem then I'd go looking for the totem, which would slow the game down for the killer.
What do you feel about the other perks? Also would it help if Hex: Heart Attack lowered the chance of getting a skill check? -

Nea probably has fun with the less than homicidal legion members, and Jeff. Nordic metal with band names that look like a pile of blood point wreaths.
Huntress and Clown practice throws by having regular snowball fights at Ormond.
Meg joins in now and then.
Everyone else is too scared because of the killer pitching arms.
Doc, nurse, and Claudette keep everyone healthy for the next runs. Jeff helps some there.

Sumpsausage said:Hey there TrueKn1ghtmar3
I came from my own scarecrow post that you replied on.
I like the idea of brother rivalry, I did find the story a bit hard to follow with characters intentions and stuff. I did how ever just wake up so I possibly have morning brain.
The idea of having dummies across that map is good, dont get me wrong, but I just have a question. Is that ability too similar to either "The Hag" or The Trapper". That was the reason why I kept away from the decoy idea (although I do like it), but what do you think?
Solid effort my dude, you put alot of time into this and you should proud
When i was writing the story I was looking at it from a psychological point of veiw, older brother having had time with the mother wanting to protect the younger from the father allowing the younger to grow in ignorant bliss, while the older brother (still knowing why he does it) grows to slightly despise his younger while growing close and changing his father into the role modle he wanted. This causes the older brother to build a bond with the father that grow as the years pass, the younger brother still ignorant of the whole situation all he knows is how close his brother and father is and he yearns for that. fast forward to the raid (the night they disappear) the dad called the older brother outside (he some how gained knowledge of this event). The father knowing his uncertain fate in jail (having killed his wife and countless towns folk), he wanted one last bit of control in the end as most sociopaths do. He demanded his son (his prodigee for years) to kill him and hide his body among the scarecrows. At this point his younger brother (determining they are most likely asleep) left the house to go to his star gazing spot in the barn (where his father and brother where plotting the demise of the former). The younger brother draws closer to the barn he hears something about his dead mother (who he mostlikely doesn't remember, yet would love to know) this draws him to the window where he sees his older brother brutally murdering his father, this fills him with terror that his brother has gone crazy or something. Switch sides and rewind a bit. The older brother would be very hesitant about killing his father, firstly he doesn't want to become his father, secondly he has grown to love his father. But on the other hand he still feels the need to protect his younger brother as he is not too certain that his father has changed he still kills. The tipping point is what his father says knowing it would tip his son to murder, bringing up his dead mother who's murder was mystery to neither, the one pivotal role modle in his life. This fills him with rage causing him to brutally hack at his father. Upon hearing an unknown noise out side he gained pursuit in a mix of fear (of being discovered) rage (being made to murder his father for a multitude of reasons), and bloodlust (his first taste of blood links him further to his father bringing out a truely sadistic side). -
thanks for the suggestions and and critique, the power isn't ment to help all too much in a chase other than using a body to occasionally block an area or path off, or to see an aura (when switching) so you can start chases.BillyBoiMain said:

He lost his mother at 8 when his father found his new hobby making scarecrows, one by one the town saw tragedy after tragedy each one marked with a new scarecrow from his father, his father was a severe drunkard, and severely outwardly violent. He watched his mother beaten daily for little to no reason, it wasn't long after her disappearance that the ball was in his court, each passing day feeling like 5 NFL games run back to back. Alastor was a very bright child despite being given little chance for education, he quickly deduced his father had a role in his mother's disapearance, and that of the town's folk, and he knew aslong as he appeased the man the ball would never fall to his younger brother Asher, who was but 4 at the time of their mothers disapearance. He worked, gained his father's confidence, slowly but surely working his way into his father's hidden life of drink and murder. He was 19 by the time he got his Jon to stop drinking by then the count of scare crows on their farm were nearly 7 but only because the older ones had weathered and rotted away, or were picked clean by crows. It took 2 more years of Alastor leading victims to his dad for the safety of him and his brother, all the while trying to pull his father away from his bloodlust. He had actually grown to love the man, but peace was broken in the dead of night his father woke him up brought him to the barn, he told his son he either faced life in prison to die when they told him to, or the only thing he cared for in life could give him the death he wanted when he wanted, to be hung among his scarecrows and by his son's hands. Torch from father to son, he gave Alastor the sickle, his sickle. Stirring in side Alastor thought "if I end this now, if I kill my only parent, does it truly save me and my brother? Or does it make me the man I tried to change?" His father continuing to beg his son for the redemption only he could give as his father said "for me... And your mother" something ferocious stirred in him anger, he quickly and without hesitation drew the sickle across his father's chest continuing to slash and stab untill he heard a noise outside grabbed the scyth from the wall and ran to see what it was. The mist thickened around him and he quickly lost his way and was never seen again.ABILITY: Crowe's redemption.•Power gauge takes 7 seconds to fill, once full channeling for 2 second moves your conciousness to the "scarecrow" body who's aura you are looking at. This grew into somewhat of a one sided rivalry against Alastor. Him taking up creative ways to gain attention like wood whittling, his father always told him, long, steady strokes, cut away all the unused tissue, that is how you carve." Alastor always appearing right at the end to end the rendezvous. "Funny" he always thought thinking back to when Alastor said "you get it right Asher? We Crowe's have each other's backs". He continued to grow in the seemingly insurmountable shadow of his older brother. Asher drew to other hobbies that gave him time to hiself like star gazing, and he had the perfect spot for it in the barn. His favorite spot to watch from was the loft you could lean against the hay and watch stars all night, and wake up with a clean blanket in the morning. One night his father seemed extra irritated so he decided to sneak out later that night. The clock struck midnight, and he was sure noone was awake he hadn't heard a sound for almost an hour. He quickly climed out his window, and pressed on for the barn, he drew closer and heard talking but couldn't make it out. He drew closer and thought he heard his father say "for me and your mother", he quickly rushed to the window to see his brother wildly chopping at their father. He ran for it, tripping but quickly getting up hearing Alastor startle in the barn. The (house) basement has a pasage going from behind the stairs that leads to the barn, and hidden meat freezer.• The Barn has 2 levels one entrance through the big doors in front, stairs at the back (partially hidden by stacks of hay) lead to the top floor where there is a vault down through the front and a window vault leading you on to a tin roof. one of 6 horse stalls will serve as one if the basement spawns, also in the back hidden by it's stairs gowing up is the other entrance to the under ground tunnel.
Crow Hunt: A bit underpowered and quite similar to Spies From The Shadows.
Hamophobia: Good idea but how would the hooked survivors not know that your camping and if you had insidious on would you still have 100% terror raidus or 0 terror raidus? I’m nitpicking but still good idea!
Hex: Confusion: A hex/obsession perk? Maybe if it wasn’t a hex but instead every time you hook your obsession, lose all tokens? It would be a lot stronger there.
For the survivor perks:
Birds of a feather: Like a better aftercare, good perk!
Wood Carver: Again balanced, fair and a great idea overall, nice ideas man!
Sibling Rivalry: This if it was used correctly would be a god perk, but maybe if you begin the match with all five tokens and no way of getting tokens might make it slightly more balanced.
Your ideas are really good, I can tell you put a lot of thought into this perks, abilities and characters. I really want to see both killer and survivor in game. Good Chapter!

If you wanna say joey is a nickname so is Joe which both are alternate forms of Joseph it is not uncommon for someone to prefer joey over Joe (I know this from experience). Dont chase one one for too long. If a brightly colored flashlight clicker is being annoying, ignore them. It will bait them into following you into a more favorable position for YOU, and not them. I have dragged a fair share of idiots into open fields only to turn the tables.
If you are also so inclined, use a mori and, once again, stab them until they die.
If this all doesn’t work, don’t let it get to you. Even the best killers get made a fool of from time to time. Just take the loss and move forward.
What this guy said swf's tend to BM more than anyone even to the point it puts them at risk, if you think someone is too good at looping you or they get in an infinite just leave find the next survivor and save the loop for last
Smart survivors will just run to different loops.
a.) Get him/her to follow you like the toxic little c**t they are.
B.) There is always going to be a weak link in the swf link elsewhere.
C.) Once you get them down to 2 survs and you hook that last one the toxic roach will come out from his hole to save and then he is most vulnerable.
As Freddy I particularly don't have to worry about the loops as I could just back off until they let their guard down then come back in for a slice and back off again. -

The time it would take to recode a non-human killer and the time it would take to animate all that would be too much just for a single killer.
Lore wise, the entity wants to provide as much as a scare factor as possible and this is accomplished via the "uncanny valley effect" something that at first glance seems normal but something is off this creates an uneasy feeling thus making you more likely to be scared. This... as a freddy main I know all to well how to deal with loops lolthesuicidefox said:You have to get other players to use the pallets or catch these guys in a bad spot. Some pallets you have to break immediately, some you can leave but need to come back and break it, others you can just leave there (though I never leave them bc free points!). If you are getting looped endlessly though chances are you are either being mindgamed enough for them to make distance or you are respecting pallets.
I almost never respect pallets I just go through them, Most of the time you can get a hit by doing that and it makes survivors less likely to do that extra loop when you chase them again. They will cut the loop short by 1 and wait at the pallet, so you swing through the pallet. Now they will be trying to hit you with a pallet so you can start respecting pallets as a way to get them to waste them. If you scare a survivor enough and condition them to drop the pallet early, they will drop it early. Sometimes it you read the drop you can just go around the loop as if you are going right for bloodlust. That scares survivors that drop the pallet because they did it in a panic and if they do that and see you just going right for bloodlust they will panic and mess up more.
Confused survivors are scared survivors. Scared survivors screw up. Survivors that screw up die.

If we want to end some toxic behavior I suggest the devs implement these perks.KILLER PERKBlood Rage- "watching your prey mock you fills you with rage to kill"When a survivor stays within 7m of you (while you are not moving) for 3s you get a token for this perk (max 6)1,2. -/-/move 20% faster3,4.-/perform actions 20/25% faster.5,6.-/-/survivors suffer the broken and hindered status effects.SURVIVOR PERKTransference- "You are willing to help others as much as possible, even if it becomes a detriment to you." spend 10s/5s/instantly heal another survivor one level at the cost of becoming injured (cannot be used if already injured)
-
Up-date added new survivor perk transference, and new killer perk blood rage.

Ok thanks for the clarification honestly I had another thought on a similar perk called transferenceTheluckyboi said:@TrueKn1ghtmar3 said:

And what killer do you usually main?DemonDaddy said:Pallets & windows can add to the looping but not impossible to deal with on their own. The real problem is the collision with a loops wall. Had a meg loop so well that I could not gain any ground because if I tried following the exact path the wall would snag me. I am all for the designed methods but losing out because killers are just bigger is horrible. Yes breaking chase is an option, but that should be when a survivor gains a lead in chase, not because your able to sustain a lead indefinitely. -
I'm sorry I need some context here what is it you are exactly trying to insinuate?DarkGGhost said:@TrueKn1ghtmar3 said:

I've been playing some Hag games lately and there's this one thing that annoys me: when I'm chasing someone down and he/she runs over my trap, I teleport and don't try to hit because I know he/she is already out of reach. In that time that I don't swing I get this MASSIVE slow that creates even more distance between me and my prey. Why is that even there?! She is already so slow, why even make her slower? Please just get rid of this. TL,DR: remove slow after teleporting with Hag
Why would you teleport in the first place when you've already committed to the chase?
Hag's main things
Firstly: the hags teleport is to close long distances, if you are already close enough and trailing a surv there should be no point to it unless they vault a pallet and you have a trap on the other side.
Using as a mechanic to close short chases is highly inefficient. I was a hag main before buying freddy and still use her every once in a whilehag -> palet->survivor-> trap

It should be that as long as you aren't in struggling you have the chance to get off the hook until you struggle then you can just die. But as @PigNRun said id just sit at the hook until you went into strugglingjustin0115 said:I have tried twice, where I had the deliverance perk activated. but where I was the last survivor standing, but because I was the last, I died instantly when I was hooked. not getting a chance to use the skill. (and this was my first time on the hook)
and in 1 of the cases, the killer didn't seem to know(or maybe knew that I would die by myself) and left me,
so if I had been able to use the skill. then I would have won. because I was close to the open exit,
and the killer ran in the other direction.so it would be nice if this could change. to if someone has a perk and can use it to escape the hook, with the killer not realizing it. then that could give them a chance to win the game
this can also be helpful if 1 or more of your teammates leave the game. and you get 1 or 2 generators done, and can use the hatch to escape.

Lol if Dwight becomes a killer, if Claudette became a killer she could disappear into a shadow and come out of another shadow lolpopoles said:Dark Dwight. -
Really? Cause lately I've heard the oppositeMushwin said:i hear civilisation is nice ^^
Honestly I try to run with killers that don't need to keep the chase, just hit back off let them get to where they are vulnerable and come back in for the down. Note I am a freddy main so this is even easier especially if you run M&A, nurses, or insidious (im running insidious 3 cause i dont have nurses or M&A).ASurvkillivorer said:I am down to rank 5 on Xbox again. Some survivors are so good at running in a loop around something with a pallet. That they seem to create an interesting situation for the killer. Either break the chase, OR keep running in that circle until you DO get hit by that pallet and they run to the next one. These aren't the survivors who stop by pallets or drop them early for a little space. They know exactly when they're going to hit you or if you're going to hit them. They CAN infinitely loop me if they have available pallets....
I am wondering how in the world are you supposed to deal with them in games where they can all do this? Your gens already get ran through so insanely fast. How are you supposed to down let alone kill multiple people when this happens.
Actually my current build on freddy it Remember, whispers, insidious, and bitter -
Lol would you really gift her anything? JsXxAtomicAlfiexX said:@TrueKn1ghtmar3
thats also a fair point. she hunted humans for sport as well. but why hasnt she been gifted by the entity? unless you count the iridescent hatchet heads as a gift.
