I hope she gets addressed because honestly you want to know the one good thing I got out of playing her for so many hrs?
It gave me patience and made me a better killer with any other killer. With her I most never win, but I grab any other killer and I destroy survivors at any rank.
-
Thank You.
-
Exactly.
-
Slower killers? Learn to loop and use pallets. Anti invisibility/heartbeat? Spine chill or premonition anti-hook camping? Death strike/Death hard. The game is already survivor sided.
-
Killer can see the survivor with OoO, and Wraith/GF/Mikey/Pig counter OoO completely; I think its perfectly ok where it is.
-
Ahh got it. Thank you for the reply.
raven9 I disagree with you, and so does the majority of console players. You are entitled to your opinion but so am I. She is broken when compared to any other killer on console. She might be ok on pc but on console she is not.
-
I disagree she is top tier, or even medium tier.
I'm rank 1, now 4 months in a row on both sides survivor and killer and like Ive explained before, I own nurses when I play survivor, the very few I encounter, and I get owned when I play nurse, and I've played her for abut 100+ hrs. Most the time I get owned. Simple fact is she sucks on console against any half brain survivors.

I think it would be helpful for people who have success with the nurse to share ideas. I think some people approach the game with such high expectations that failure is broadly defined. If you manage to kill 2 survivors with the nurse, you probably had a decent game. I use the blink to scatter survivors and always try to blink just ahead of where the player is running. You will almost always generate a trail to follow bc they have to run. You don't need to blink, just make an appearance and make people have an "oh crap" moment then just walk them down. Another is that you always take a swing coming out of blink no matter what, whether first or additional blinks. Another is establish a personal threshold if you miss for determing whether you will blink again, like if the player is "x" distance, you automatically blink to close. Another is that you don't blink through two walls unless you are sure the survivor is there--don't blind blink with blind hope. Lastly, if you have tons of trouble, just do proximity facecamping and use hooked survivors as bait. That's my 5 cents. I think the challenge of playing well with the nurse is a lot of fun. It's great to come out of blink right on top of a person being healed too and downing them.
There isn't because very few if any are good with her on console. The only people that say she is still "top tier" are those who watch pre-nerf videos, a fixed match or maybe, maybe some 500+ hrs nurses on pc. She has one of the lowest pick rates and kill rates in the game. Please change something.
-
How do I know when they see my post? Do I get a notification?
-
Thanks; I just keep using her until I get frustrated enough and then swap to a more efficient killer for me. I only have ~104 hrs playing her, 1300 hrs playing killer/survivor. Eventually I'll get decent with her or I'll just do what almost everyone else has, just don't use her. Its a shame really.
-
No because I already had it but thank you for replying. I don't think there is much to do, she is too broken. She needed a nerf but they str8 up broke her knew caps, lol.
-
Me likely. Sounds really good.
-
Yep. Worst map for her. Almost guaranteed loss against any decent survivors
-
Wait for it... here comes the “well a god nurse always gets 4ks” statement... she needs to be fixed somehow. She has one of the lowest pick rates, lowest kill rates, and highest frustration coefficients in the game.
-
Or addons. But to answer your question, I really liked the music.
-
I rather they fix some of her dead zones, bugs or cooldowns
-
Nurse
-
I’m sure they are aware about it, they just have other priorities. They only have so much manpower, And they are looking at the maps and perks etc
-
Right? I mean we’re not asking to make her Op again, just remove the cooldown, or make the c/d only apply when in a chase, or make 1 c/d reset both blinks but please change something because the majority of players, including the majority of new players find her frustrating to play as she is right now.

well, i have to disagree with you completly...
I do know a Nurse Main Killer which does every Game, doesnt matter what happens a 4k ...
I cant even compare that "strongness" to any other Killer if im Honest.
So "basically" she is more then good actually, even if you dont agree with his changes.
And we keep asking for proof and you guys keep evading.
Even if what you are saying is true, I’m sure the top 1% of any killer can do really well with them too. That’s like saying the top 1% survivors could always hit ruin so it was balanced.
just because the top 1% of players can “always get a 4K” (which is highly unlikely btw) doesn’t mean she doesn’t need to be looked at.

play some surv. play a different killer. mix up your perks. basically, take a few games where you dont take it super serious.
we didnt start playing this game cause we wanted to sweat. we started playing to have fun. i do my best work when im enjoying myself :)
Also play your best killer with ebony Mori or whatever toxic build u want; or play a rank 20 account for a couple of games, or take a break and play something else.
-
First of all, I agree with you and I hope they do something so people can’t d/c at will, or at least get penalized for it, or maybe even a fix where if someone dcs the game brings a new player in. No idea how that would work but I get screwed at least once a day by some survivor dcing on first or second down, screwing the rest of the team over.
Now that said, each person paid for the game and have the liberty of playing when and how they want. I just wish it didn’t affect the rest of the players in the match.
-
I never played her omega blink build, and I still have issues with her. We are not asking to make her OP again, just a little buff so she is more fun to play as and both her pick rate and kill rate go up a bit.
-
I agree w legion on this one. Pallets and vaults while in chase are the places where you can actually get hits with her.
-
Or we can keep asking and hopefully someone will listen and fix her.

I mean I've commented on Nurse probably once in the past two months so I hope you're not including me in that 3-4 people, lol. I disagree completely that "most people" agree she is too weak. In no way is Nurse weak. A killer that can ignore pallets, loops and windows cannot ever be weak.
Yes she can ignore pallets, the problem are the dowuble cooldowns on her 2 blinks+fatigue+slower movement speed. Almost any other killer can get downs easier and faster than she can, without having to put in 500+ hrs into a single killer.
-
There's a reason she is one of the least played killers and has one of the lowest kill rates. We are not asking for her to be as good as she was before, we are asking to make her fun and viable again. No one wants to be stunned/fatigued half the match.

Yeah, generally a nerf should mean you are less capable. She was way too strong.
Bhvr isn't responsible for your anger problems. The best Nurses are still deadly with her. People that depended on how OP she was aren't. Seems fair to me.
She was way too strong, now she is way too weak for her skill cap. I keep hearing the same 3-4 players post that "she is still top tier" or "She is still deadly you just need to put in the time" but everyone else agrees she is too weak. Yes she can be viable, barely, once you have the right addons (fatigue and reduced cooldown), AND once you have invested 500+ hrs on her, not to mention even then she still has all places she cant blink trough, slower than survivor speed AND 2 cooldowns.
-
Not to mention, that you simply cannot catch a survivor running around a staircase or statues, or through pride rocks Because you could not blink through those, and the survivor moves faster than you
-
Sure it’s different When you add the individual cool downs for each blink and a walking speed slower then survivors movement speed.
-
Yes please.
-
She’s broken and needs a buff or a rework.

What stats do you have to prove this ?
None, that’s how many he has. He’s one of those few people who say she is still “top tier” with no data to back it up even all data suggests the contrary.
-
Even after putting over 300 hrs of play just on her, she is medium tier at best. She has the hardest learning curve and one of the lowest kill rates across the board. She needs to be buffed or reworked by doing something, Ive even give some ideas:
a) increase her base speed to 4.2-4.4 just like hag/spirit/huntress.
b) give her 3-4 blinks as opposed to 2.
c) Make one recharge bar recharge blinks to maximum (ie. one recharge bar gives you the 2 blinks at once)
d) remove the fatigue and leave the recharges as they are.
e) remove the blink c/ds while not in a chase, that way you start every chase w 2 blinks.
Any one of these changes would put her back in a very good spot without being as OP as she was.
-
New doctor with distressing+pgtw +unnerving+choulphobia
-
She is one of the least played killers with the lowest kill rate. Yes she needs to be looked at and something changed.
-
Peanits was right, just put your survivor down and chase that guy, now a third survivor must stop doing gens to heal the downed survivor and you can down the toxic survivor in the meantime.
-
I would love to see some numbers or videos showing these “strongest nurses” playing, I’ve literally found 2 videos online of her after her nerf and the survivors in them were not playing anywhere near good.
Some people think she’s boring, too hard to learn, or not worth the time, the fact is she needs a rework or at least a buff of some sort.
I gave some constructive ideas, and actually I liked one given by someone else too, base kit nurse when not in chase. They can implement any of this, or come up with their own. The fact remains. Something should be done, please.
-
Let me explain myself since you think I'm being sarcastic.
“Do you think that she has the lowest kill rate because she has the highest skill cap and hardly anyone plays her, therefore hardly anyone practices her? Or do you always look at data at face value?”
First off, there’s a reason nobody players her other than her high skill cap, its her reward is not worth the time put into it, you get better results with spirit or hillbilly, hell even new doctor. I’m not looking at data at face value, I’m looking at the facts. By that logic then ruin didn’t need a nerf either because with hundreds of hours of practice anyone can hit great skillchecks…
“All of your suggestions just make her broken again. Like I said before, her power is game breaking by design, so she needs a massive cool down.”
Actually they do not. I am not saying all of those, I’m suggesting ONE of those, or even something else. She was nerfed for having a ridiculous number of blinks with no downside. Now she has up to 2 which she must use by the way to move because of her base speed being slower than survivors but I’m sure you knew that already.
“A) the whole reason the cool down was increased is because a good Nurse would never let you escape as she would always be all over you with next to no rest.”
True but they went from 5-6 blinks w no cooldown, to a max of 2 with individual c/ds because the 3 blink addon is a joke. Now you use your blinks to find a survivor, wait for 2 blink cooldowns to come
back while the survivor makes ground, then you have 2 blinks to catch the survivor and get a single hit, after which you must wait again for 2 c/ds and repeat (btw how much time has elapsed?), and that’s not counting DH, purple addon med kit, and assuming you guessed correctly what the survivor was going to do, if you miss any of your blinks you are done. The reason people don’t play her is not just she is hard to learn; she was just as hard to learn before. The reason people don’t play her now its because it’s not worth it.
“C) increasing her base speed would defeat the whole purpose of her design. She's supposed to be a killer that can bypass walls, pallets and windows, but as a trade for that power her base speed is slow. Increasing her base speed would just make her ridiculously OP (not sure if you're trolling)”
Except there’s plenty of things she can’t “bypass”, and the cooldown between blinks and fatigue make it nearly impossible for players to use her with exception of your “top tier nurses” which I have yet to see.
D) not sure if you're trolling with this one either but 3/4 blinks is stupid and I'm sure everyone unanimously agrees with that (except you for some weird reason).
3 or 4 blinks would not make her OP because the individual cooldowns and the fatigue would still be there. They could even make it that you can only blink twice in a row but you have up to four blinks in reserve.

Instead of parroting what I replied last time I'll just add another idea for ya:
cooldown doesn't pause when using power, or charges at a slower speed. Done. Much better and still requires managing but isn't so frustrating and eye gougingly unfun.
Thats another viable idea. I'll added to my list. I just hope someone who can do something about this reads it and agrees with at least 1 of the ideas.
-
She needed a nerf but she was way over nerfed. Now she has one of the lowest kill rates of any killer for both experienced and new players alike.
Ive suggested before that either:
a)remove or lower the cooldown for blink, maybe make the cool down reset both blinks instead of one per cool down.
b) Remove fatigue and leave everything else as is.
c) increase her base speed to 4.2-4.4 like hag/huntress/spirit or
d) give her 3-4 blinks and leave everything else as is.
Any ONE of these would put her back at the top or near the top tier without making her as OP as she once was.
-
I literally just posted this on another thread but since it keeps coming up I hope someone who can do something about this reads it and agrees. The only people that still say she's top tier are either 1% of the actual nurses out there that have put over 1k hrs just in her or people that watch one of those top1% streamers and thinks if he can do it everyone can.
I've put myself ~300 hrs just on her, I'm a pretty good nurse and she is medium tier at best. She needed a nerf but she was way over nerfed. Now she has one of the lowest kill rates of any killer for both experienced and new players alike. Against any decent survivor almost any killer is better than nurse.

Nurse is a perfect example of why this game is unable to be balanced based on the best players (as I would usually advocate). Can you imagine balancing Nurse around average killers? She would be all you see, and she would be destroying every game!
She is a rare exception whereby if you are amazing you will be able to bypass all of the survivors defences and down them within 20/30 seconds. However, if you aren't amazing you'll get stomped.
I personally think she should be left as she is. It's good to have a killer with a high risk and a high reward, otherwise anyone that is moderately decent can pick her up and destroy teams almost effortlessly. Not to mention that it rewards players that are willing to put in the time and effort into learning her.
People suggest silly things like making her base speed faster, or giving her more blinks/less cool down; but they forget that her power by design is game breaking and that this needs to be balanced by making her less powerful in other areas.
To summarise; Nurse is in a good spot at the moment, don't let the fact that people struggle to play her cloud the fact that she is still top 2 (arguably the best killer).
Where? from where do you get this? Because you cant play against her or because you've seen a streamer that has hrs played with her? Because I'll tell you where you haven't seen it, on the game. Ive posted this before but I'll repost it every time someone says she's OP or top tier. Im a good nurse, I play both killer and survivor at red ranks (not that it matters).

Why is no one else talking about the random basement blinks? Lol is it just me? Like go to blink to someone outside a structure, randomly blink to the basement. Go to blink out, won't let you blink out. Have to actually walk out and by that time the survivor is long gone. This happens constantly to me. I could be aiming for the sky and end up in the basement lol then it becomes impossible to pass through again.
That too. Same as stairs. You can blink from stairs down, but you cannot blink up to stairs, not to mention the many rocks/statues and other things you can’t blink through. Even more reasons why she needs a bit of buff love, please.
-
You can, use distressing with him. I’ve played over 50 matches with him after the rework and I’ve lost less than 5 matches that I can think off. I’ve been using PGTW+Distressing+any two other perks.

I'm a very good nurse and I disagree that she is anywhere near top tier.

Have you even played the new doctor? As a doctor main rank 1 four months in a row I can guarantee that it was an improvement overall, and that his kill rate will most certainly go up from before the rework. Oh, and by the way I was against the rework, but they definitely made improvements on him.
-
It’s neither OP nor toxic. It can only be used once, and btw I play both survivor and killer at rank 1.
-
It was bugged so couldn’t be done. I believe it’s supposed to be fixed with the hot fix.
-
Buff nurse please. Give her another blink, remove the recharge mechanic (make it so one recharge gives u max blinks), remove her fatigue or increase her base speed to 4.4
