Buff nurse please. Give her another blink, remove the recharge mechanic (make it so one recharge gives u max blinks), remove her fatigue or increase her base speed to 4.4

Old and new doctor, and Hillbilly.
Also, buff nurse please. Give her another blink, remove the recharge mechanic (make it so one recharge gives u max blinks), remove her fatigue or increase her base speed to 4.4

I used to play her and her only, for a long time. The change made her feel horrible to play. She is still easily the strongest killer in the game and I don't find her that much harder to play, but god she is so unfun now.
I agree with you she is the hardest killer to master, but you are either smoking something or ignoring the facts if you still think she is anywhere near the top tier as she is now. Even after putting over 300 hrs of play just on her, she is medium tier at best. She has the hardest learning curve and one of the lowest kill rates across the board. She needs to be buffed or reworked by doing something, Ive even give some ideas:
a) increase her base speed to 4.2-4.4 just like hag/spirit/huntress.
b) give her 3-4 blinks as opposed to 2.
c) Make one recharge bar recharge blinks to maximum (ie. one recharge bar gives you the 2 blinks at once)
d) remove the fatigue and leave the recharges as they are.
Any one of these changes would put her back in a very good spot without being as OP as she was.
-
Devs stated the 2 most used perks on survivor side, by far, are self care and lithe. If they get needed it would have to be either longer time to self heal or you can only self heal a certain amount of times per match. For lithe I don’t see how to nerd it except maybe make it 2 sec instead if 3 but then SB would be clearly better I guess.
DS/DH/Adrenaline are fine as they are.
-
Well I'm a good nurse, and I agree with you. She needs to be fixed. She needed a nerf but she was way over nerfed. Now she has one of the lowest kill rates of any killer for both experienced and new players alike. They need to either
a)remove or lower the cooldown for blink.
b) Remove fatigue and leave everything else as is.
c) increase her base speed to 4.2-4.4 like hag/huntress/spirit or
d) give her 3-4 blinks and leave everything else as is.
Any ONE of these would put her back at the top or near the top tier without making her as OP as she once was.

Maybe the weakest killer at your rank, but experienced players can still get her to kick ass.
Ohh and by this logic, then all killers, maps, addons and perks don't need to be changed or reworked because "Experienced players can still get it to kick ass"...
-
She has one of the lowest kill rate of any other killer both overall and on red ranks.
-
This is exactly what I’m talking about. Show some proof, we have.
At my rank? Lol. I’m rank 1 3 months in a row, probably the player with most hours played on my console.
-
She is now the weakest killer at any rank. The only pple who still say she’s Op are talking without proof. She needs buffed base speed, or remove the blink c/d, or remove the fatigue. As she is now her kill rate is the lowest of all killers. It’s not fun to play as her or against her.

Eww I could never play killer without bbq. Hag and nurse come to mind as good killers perkless.
Nurse without add ons? Please... she’s at the bottom even with addons.
-
Look at que times for survivors. Of course a lot of killers have stopped playing or swapped to survivor. 100% agree that Nurse needs a buff.
-
Nurse needs to be re-buffed
-
Except I HAVE put in the time, 500+ hrs on her, rank 1 3 months in a row and she is NOT the strongest killer. Numbers support it. If someone says she is still the strongest killer they are either trolling, uninformed or simply ignorant. We've provided multiple numbers showing she is the weakest killer overall and I have not seen a SINGLE proof that she is "the strongest" other than word of mouth.

You are basically measuring strength by how well a killer does under optimal conditions.
With current Nurse, Huntress actually does better under optimal conditions. On maps like Blodlodge a Huntress could theoretically land 5 hits in 20 seconds if she had a 100% accuracy. You could not say the same about Nurse, since she has a cooldown now. Even with cooldown add-ons she lands hits slower, especially since she travels slower than Huntress' hatchets.
A Hag can deal more damage per time, if her web gets triggered really fast.
Bubba can basically down the entire team in one charge.
Billly can do so as well, but with more flexibility.
Trapper could do, if his traps work out all at the same time.
Are all of those killers stronger than Nurse now?
Absolutely they are, and so is spirit and almost all other killers without even have to wry about the exponential learning curve. Warcrafter hit the nail on the head: Should there be a killer who can only be realistically played by the top 10 players in the world to begin with?
-
Even then with more reason she is not a strong killer. Her nerf was too big and now even if you know how to use her and have put in the time, she is one of the weakest options.

Well the main reason she was OP in the first place was because of Omega 3-blink nurse, and a 5 blink nurse.
The old base kit nurse actually required a high amount of hours to learn her power throughout, and was balanced.
The current God Nurses and the actually good nurses had to spend hundreds of hours mastering her power.
The main reason survivors cried Nurse was Op was just because of the Add ons, not the base kit itself. The ones who cried OP at old basekit nurse where ones who couldn't or refused to learn how to play against her (which was LOS breakers and jukes), and ones that just want every killer to be looped.
The current Nurse is in a bad spot, she is add on dependent in order to not be easily countered. Survivors can outrun the current basekit Nurse in a straight line. Also add on Dedicated servers, as well as the amount of bugs that hurt the Nurse.
This, current nurse needs a buff. I've provided 4 viable options that would put her back in a good killer status without making her OP:
a)Get back 3-4 blinks and leave everything else as is. b) Have her base speed increased to 4.2-4.4 just like hag or huntress and leave the rest as is, c) remove the fatigue, or d) remove the c/d between blinks.
Any ONE of these changes would buff her back to the top tier while maintaining her very high skill cap and without putting her anywhere near as powerful as she was before.

Because only a god tier Nurse can do really well with her, that's why. She gets punished far too hard for not perfectly hitting every blink. Guess what? There are so many things that mess with your blinks, terrain wise, that it's already difficult.
So when you add how hard you're punished for missing blinks into survivors who maintain distance and constantly break LoS, you will have far too extended chases.
She's absolute garbage against good survivors.
This.
-
You say nurse is "Insane in the right hands and pretty bad in the wrong ones." but the fact is that even when you put in the time and master her she is still at the bottom tier right now.
-
Because even when you learn her she is still at the bottom of the tiers.
-
The fact is that even when you "master" her, she is still at the bottom of the tiers.
-
I play both killer and survivor, rank 1 3 months in a row with both and as the majority of survivors have said, we love going against nurse because she is the weakest killer atm, and the numbers prove it.
-
You are just talking with no proof man. I play her, with over 500 hrs and I still seldom get 4 kills and I'm not alone. She is too weak compared to other killers, even when you finally "master" her. All proof shows she is at the bottom of the tiers now.
-
@Fibijean said:
Basically, it's because most people tend to go for the option that provides maximum payoff for minimum effort. Even though Nurse, played to mastery, is still the strongest killer in the game, there are several others who are almost as strong that are much easier to master, and most people care more about winning the game than they do about mastering it. The only reason to learn Nurse is for the personal satisfaction of having mastered the strongest and most difficult killer in the game, and/or just because you find her gameplay so enjoyable that you don't mind the learning curve.
She s NOT at the strongest anymore that is our point. You think she's at top? Give some proof because all facts and numbers point to the contrary.
-
She needs to either: a)Get back 3-4 blinks and leave everything else as is. b) Have her base speed increased to 4.2-4.4 just like hag or huntress and leave the rest as is, c) remove the fatigue, or d) remove the c/d between blinks.
Any ONE of these changes would buff her back to the top tier while maintaining her very high skill cap and without putting her anywhere near as powerful as she was before.
-
Those same statistics where used as an excuse to nerf her...which yes was needed but whoever says she is still the best killer is just delusional or trolling. You think she's at top? Give some proof because all facts and numbers point to the contrary.
-
I play her tol have fun depipping from rank 1 back to rank 6-7. Its not even her blinks, I land most of the blinks where I want to, its the swing after the blink, its the c/d on top of the fatigue, its the 97% movement speed, etc. She is literally my worst killer by far and I have over 500 hrs just on her and 3 months str8 rank 1 killer.
-
I'd like to see some proof that "nurse is still the best killer in the game" because so far all the proof has been to the contrary. The only people that still say she's "OP" are either trolling or speaking with no proof. Again I am not saying its impossible to get a 4k; I've gotten them, but compared to any other killer she is at the bottom, and I do have over 500 hrs of playing her.
-
Are you saying that going from 6 blinks to 2 blinks+ a c/d on the blinks was appropriate? Although I agree with you that those stats dont account for how much time a given layer has used her, they still show that she has one of the lowest kill rates overall and at red rank.
-
I cant wait to see the new ones so all those people that say she's still "OP" eat their words. She was nerfed too much and now needs a buff, that's a fact.
-
??? I hope you are being sarcastic, those reasons you quoted are more reasons why she is broken and gets stumped by any good survivor, on top of the ones I mentioned.
-
lol. Thanks Elegant. Like someone else said before:
Limiting to 2-3 blinks? Ok
Adding recharge mechanic? Ok
Combine both of these+stun+c/d on blink+can get stunned at blink+maintain 97% movement speed?
She is no longer on top tier, in fact her kill rate is lower than most killers if not the lowest.
-
I’d like to see her kill rate across the board and at red ranks. I bet it’s lower than most killers even at red rank Because like I said, any good survivor can run her foBecause like I said, any good survivor can run her for a very long time because they not only needed her base kit, they also limit her blinks to two + stun + c/d for next blink.
-
@Elegant said:
People got mad they raised her skill ceiling and bought into the "nurse is awful now" bs that people kept spewing. However, she has never been a popular killer in terms of people's favorite killer to play. There was a poll not too long ago about who everyone's favorite killer was and she had the least number of votes for both favorite to play as and favorite to play vs. The reason her playrate likely went down is because of the perception that she's no longer absurdly overpowered like she was before. She's definitely still overpowered and should get reworked at some point, but she's more tolerable to play vs now. Her design isn't fun to play but people would play her because she was overpowered and her skill ceiling was really low. People had fun with easier wins, not the actual killer herself. Now that the ceiling has been raised, that aspect is gone.
She is not overpowered right now what are you talking about? Like everybody else has already said here, she definitely needed a Nerf yes, but she was nursed so hard that she is now not even average. Maybe on pc, I don’t know there, but on console, she is at the bottom of the pile against any survivor who can play good.
-
She’s like third tier now assuming you are great with her, if you are not she’s the worst killer. I would not be surprised if her kill rate is under 40%.
-
She needs her base speed increased, the cool down on the blinks removed, or the stun removed.
-
She needs either her base kit back (no c/d between blinks) or her base speed increased. She needed a nerf but the fact is she is now broken in the opposite direction and has the lowest kill rate of any killer (at least on switch).
-

-
That’s because she got NERFED to the ground, not only did they change her bass kit, they also changed her add-ons. Now unless you are playing in PC, she is a mid tier killer at best even with add-ons and a good player.
they should increase her base speed, or give her back her base kit blinks and leave the add-ons as they are.
-
It’s not even the blinks, I’m to the point, that I can blink where I want to blink. The problem I have is the swing after the blink.
Half the time I predict the survivor, blink to where I want to, swing on top of them and the game says: “mmmm, you missed”. That’s the most frustrating part for me.
-
I play on the switch, and she is by far the least used killer and the hardest to learn. I use her when I want to de pip from red rank back to purple.
I am able to maintain rank 5-6 with her, but it’s extremely hard to beat red rank groups with her on the switch at this time even with add ons. I’ve seen maybe 1-2 decent nurses on switch.
-
I play both killer and survivor, multiple times R1 on both w 1.5k hrs played. The fact of the matter is that now, unless you are playing hillbilly or spirit, any team of decent red rank survivors can finish all gens in a match within six-8 minutes and the killer can do almost nothing about it.
I can get 4 kills if the group has some lower rank survivors or if they are not in comms but if they are in comms as a group or if they are good red rank survivors? good luck.
-
Multiple times rank 1 on console, agree but we dont got Freddy and Nurse is more like C tier with addons, D tier without.
There's maybe, maybe 1 red rank nurse main on switch and maybe 2-3 decent nurses overall counting myself and Snow. Granted our player pool size is super small compared to PC. Hopefully someday they will implement cross platform play.
-
Most often I spend time trying to recreate Scooby-Doo moments and don't take it so seriously."
This is one of the best comments ive read "Scooby-Doo moments" lol. As for the OP, as a killer you have to bring the right perks and addons for certain killers at red ranks because sadly unless you are either hillbilly, spirit, or really good, going against swf is just toxic but most of the time you can get 2-4k if its not a swf w comms. I suggest if you are trying to learn a new killer, either custom matches to learn him, make a second account so you can start at r20, or don't care about rank and get stomped till you learn.
-
Don't look at the killer stats before the nerf, look at them after the nerf. Look at red ranks only (midtier) or overall (bottom tier), nowhere near the top. She needs a buff somewhere.

She’s fine as she is now. She’s still the strongest Killer in the game. Theses changes would make her even stronger than she was pre-rework.
she is NOT the strongest killer in game, in fact, she is the weakest. Look up most recent killer stats released. Now you could argue that you should not look across all ranks due to her high learning curve so, looking only at red ranks, she is still only mid tier. I already posted on discussions but I fully agree with either raising her base speed to 4.2 or at least 4.0, or leave her speed as is but fix something else. She is the hardest killer to master, she should be the most powerful once mastered, or at least high tier.
-
I would agree with that too. I hope they do something. I don't mind her being the hardest killer to master, its good to have a challenge but its only worth it if its rewarding.
