Bug fixes, lots of map balancing, killer buffs, low use killer perks and survivor perks need a buff and just something fresh for the game as it’s getting stale.
-
I believe they fixed the lunge speed bug but her phasing sound is still showing up when someone is being chased and also you can’t hear people sometimes when phasing even with stridor.
-
Killer queue’s are about 10 to 15 seconds, survivor queues’s are 15 minutes to 30 minutes.
-
The music is fine apart from the actual chase music itself it reminds me of a 5 year old violently strumming at a guitar.

Decisive strike is incredibly easy to hit no chance in missing it.

Hi!
Just wanted to address one common concern I've seen from the community. "They nerfed Ruin so it wouldn't be hard for new Survivors."
That's not quite what the intention was. This is subtle, but bear with me.
New Ruin is in fact really brutal for new Survivors... because it is insidious. They have no idea what's happening, and they struggle to get gens done at all. That little zap effect when you take your hands off a gen? Barely noticable to a new player who's panicing because of the L3 Terror Radius they are hearing. It's not even noticable that the gen is regressing twice as fast as if the Killer had damaged it.
What we wanted to do was not "make it easy for new players" but "make it less frustrating for new players". In playtests with newer Survivor players, it was 4k with 4 or 5 gens up almost every time. But they didn't hate their time in the game as much because those red skill checks weren't in their faces.
I'm looking forward to playing on the PTB with some of you tomorrow; see you in the Fog!
Or they could just learn how to do a skill check like everyone else has the gen speeds are super quick at red ranks ruin was pretty much the only thing that helped with that besides PGTW but even then you have to know what gen they’re working on and have to hook someone first.
You say its frustrating what about keys they’re frustrating to go against what about DS that’s frustrating too when survivors abuse it when you aren’t tunneling them ? Gens going to fast then getting teabagged at the gates that’s frustrating too or what about the god loops and huge maps like iron works or Crotus prenn, Cornfield or Wrecked shop that’s frustrating to play on too when are they gonna be dealt with.
Even the broken matchmaking that you decided to sweep under the rug by removing the ability to see what ranks people are so people stop complaining about it, your idea of frustration is very strange.

We know that the playerbase hasn't been growing for 1,5 years. But new survivors are also not going to stay with the game when they have to wait 10 minutes for a lobby. And veterans might also leave.
Exactly

I don't use Ruin, so this doesn't affect me. I am however looking forward to my instant queue times as killer becoming supersonic if this nerf goes through. It's so much more fun to go around doing nothing but teabagging as Ghostface if the queue times are nonexistent; having to wait to meme around puts a damper on things.
What build do you run as ghostface may I ask ?

Killers have already been using ruin BECAUSE of how BADLY this game is balanced around gen speeds and "map pressure". killers NEEDED the time that ruin bought. and with this current version of ruin? it is garbage. now more than likely by the time you hook 1 person, GARUNTEE, whether they are able to hit greats or not. 1 gen will pop when you hook a survivor with a 2nd gen close to popping if not already popped. AND YOU ONLY HAVE GOTTEN 1 HOOK. Q times for survivors in red ranks was already bad. but now? I firmly believe that the amount of red rank killers that will actually keep playing after this change will only be in the double didgets.
if someone asked me "what is THE WORST thing BHVR could do to this game balance wise?" my answer would be to nerf ruin. and BOY did they not just NERF IT, THEY LEGIONED IT
I’ll be joining you on the train to leaving if it goes live I already get stressed out enough running into swfs that gen rush you while the others run around broken loops then teabag you at the exit gates, ruins rework is hard countered by them tapping the gen for 0.01 seconds changing ruin to this is just going to encourage that.
-
Killer isn’t fun anymore as soon as you hit rank 10 you just get toxic red rank swf’s that gen rush you and abuse the broken god loops in the game then teabag you at the exit gates so no it’s not in good shape and if they don’t do something about the maps there won’t be anymore killers playing so the game will die.

I have been playing Five Nights at Freddys on Xbox and was thinking, is it possible for a fnaf chapter? I have also seen videos of people wanting certain killers in the game but have never seen anyone mention Five Nights at Freddys. So I wanted to ask the community. Is it possible for a fnaf chapter or paragraph?
This was a fan made image of a FNAF concept on reddit credit goes to u/freddy_fazsack

The iridescent king has all four effects of the carter notes but doesn’t carry the increased terror radius etc when you zap someone there is a random chance you’ll get one of the following afflictions illusionary pallets etc
-
I 100% agree with you I’m a killer main myself and I’m getting really stressed out with the higher ranks like I don’t mind if people beat me fair call but when they spam fast vaults to get me to come over to them so they can teabag me at the gates is just frustrating me so much to the point where I’ve stopped playing killer completely and started playing survivor.

how does she have this perk if I did not purchase it?
Borrowed time was originally a perk that be obtained on every killer like small game, dark senses etc until they changed BT,left behind and unbreakable to be put on a specific character (Bill) if you unlocked BT or the other perks before the change was made you’ll still have the perk and not have it unlocked.

Oh, and Oni is absolutely not C tier, even without his flick. He's at the very least B. Just because he's not disgusting like he was in the PTB anymore it doesn't mean he's bad. He has map pressure AND an instadown in his power, that's more than half the cast already.
Yes but Oni is a m1 killer till he gets his power, you could get looped for ages and not manage to get your power with good survivors also survivors can just run around a cluttered areas where it’s easy to smack a object and not the survivor.
-
Decisive strike can be abused for example a survivor is hooked then another survivor runs at you then you down them pick them up they have DS from when you just hooked them, you get stunned they unhook there friend and repeat, a perk shouldn’t make you invincible to being hooked when you aren’t tunnelling the survivor the perk should be deactivated when another survivor is hooked.

You are already on a 3v1. Do you really need all Perks at this point?
I did think about that but a strong 3 man swf can be difficult even at least from my experience anyways.

I heard rumors about dbd in console. I'm a PC player so I dunno if that's true. So PS4 and Xbox players pls answer this question; Is playing killer on console that bad?
If my information is accurate the killer wait times are 2 seconds and the survivor's is 10 minutes (completely opposite from PC BTW) and u have 89% chance to be against swf. Can someone please verify this information? I would appreciate it.
Yes 99%of the games I play as killer are SWF and I can get games instantly on killer but survivor it takes ages.
i frequently have stutters when I’m chasing people and it has thrown me off a couple of times also when you start up DBD your console sounds like it’s a bout to explode.

If you have those slow down perks on and STILL can't get at least two people then it's not the game, it's your lack of being able to apply pressure. What killer did you run? How many kills do you typically get?
I’ve been playing Ghostface, Legion and Spirit it’s just because I can’t catch the survivors because all I get are SWF groups that know all the god loops and can loop me forever while all the others 3 man gen rush me if I switch to the next person they just do the same thing.
-
Okay so I just did a little testing, I played legion on Hawkins because I know that map is smaller and there is a lot less windows and safe pallets, they got my ruin within the first few minutes of the game but I managed to down them and apply enough pressure that they were down to 2 gens and I 4k’d them and got all iridescents so it seems to be the maps that are the problem not the gens.
-
Alright no so from what I’ve gathered is that gens aren’t the problem it’s the maps being too large, too many safe loops and killers not being able to apply enough pressure.

I just don't get it. Killers are overpowered anyway so I am pretty sure anyone could get more bloodpoints when hunting survivors instead of camping. Unless people try to save that one doomed person. Then the killer accidentally gets more bloodpoints.
Killers aren’t overpowered my dude
-
- Rework gen speeds and ruin
- Redesign maps making it more balanced for killers and survivors eliminating god windows and lessening safe pallets
- Rework Legion currently the worst killer in the game right now.
- Nerf keys and mori’s
- Allow is to mix and match cosmetics before buying them.
-
Franklins Demise is my favourite purely because it deals with those pesky flashlights and keys etc.
-
@ZoneDymo said:
ermm how have you not been able to?
Like all killers, everything works fine if you care for what that perk does.
An obvious POTENTIALLY (depends on the player) perk for Spirit is Stridor, to hear survivors better when phasing, but it might throw you off as well.
I was thinking maybe Ruin, franklins, PGTW and BBQ
-
The Nurse will always be the best killer purely because she can stop loops very easily if you can play her properly, Nurse on console in my opinion is a lot harder than PC because you can’t ‘flick’ as good on console.
For Console Spirit is who I have to go with and who I have been playing for a long time now even with the prayer beads nerf and no collision during haunting (It was pretty broken) she still is able to mind game a lot and personally is my favourite killer to play.
-
It’s been awhile but I absolutely agree with you here Crotus Prenn Asylum is my most hated map purely because the centre building has 4 safe pallets and 2 windows either side that can be looped for basically the entire game.
