  • Because I Love Rock And Roll.

Also, when I was really little I sucked at drawing faces, so I only drew people with helmets or masks, mostly knights because drawing a pot helmet is really easy (it's basically just a cylinder with a line and some dots). As a result I started to like knights and think they were cool.

Not very interesting, but that's my story.

I laughed way harder than I should have at this.

If you haven't already seen them, I'd recommend Puppers or Dat360NoScope.

Puppers is really chill and goofy while playing and Dat360NoScope does no commentary videos. Could be what you're looking for?

  • I run Small Game virtually all the time when I play Survivor, in order to counter NOED, and I would absolutely love this change.

  • We've gotten a lot of complex Killers recently.

Spirit, Plague, and Legion all have fairly obtuse base powers that only change when using one of a handful of add-ons (and even then not very much). As a result every Plague, Spirit, and Legion is virtually the same to face and play, with any variation coming primarily from the individual Killer player or their perks.

I'd prefer more future Killers to be like Myers, Hag, or Wraith: their add-ons can actually change their power and it's purpose, rather than just giving them statistical increases. These Killers force Survivors to stay on their toes and give the Killer player multiple ways to play while still using the same Killer, because these Killers' powers can change from match to match.

I don't know, at the end of The Last of Us Joel brutally murders a hospital full of people who are trying to save humanity, in order to save Ellie because HE wants her alive.

One person he kills is someone he has tortured and is no longer a threat to him. Another one of those people he slaughters is a doctor who is only armed with a scalpel, is not posing a serious threat to him, and is begging for him not to come any closer (it's up to the player if they kill the other surgeons/nurses in the room or not, but you are REQUIRED to kill him). Joel then ends his rampage by murdering someone who is crawling on the ground, begging for their life.

This is in addition to the many unnecessarily brutal murders he commits throughout the course of the game.

I honestly don't think he'd have any compunctions about snapping an innocent person's neck if it meant he would be able to survive.

I’d like to see Freddy’s 50% action debuff effectively immediately during dream transition. I think it’s fair that survivors still have the opportunity to use the strategy of trying to fail a SC to wake themselves up before pulled into the dream world, but immediate action penalty might get more survivors off gens that are near completion.

During the Dream Transition, Survivors should just flat out stop progression AND not be able to Wake Up each other. People shouldn't be able to finish gens in Freddy's face, break hexes while he has to wait around, or heal themselves from Injured while he waits for them to fall asleep.

Just that single change would go a LONG way to fixing Freddy IMO.

    Joel as a survivor?

    His perks would be:

Listen Mode: You have keen ears and are able to listen for sounds of danger.

Killer Auras are revealed to you when you are crouching and in the terror radius. You can see killer auras for five seconds. There is a 30/20 cooldown. (Third tier has no cooldown.)

Scavenger: You can find parts no other person can.

When searching a chest, there is a slightly/moderately/considerably increased chance you find a toolbox with a 0/0/75% chance of having either charge affecting add ons attached.

(I don't know what his third perk should be. A shiv would make people angry, and Diversion already exists.)

The killer could be a Clicker or something.

Honestly I feel like a young Ellie would be better for a The Last of Us Survivor. If Joel was in the trials as a Survivor, assuming that he couldn't murder the Killer, he would probably just kill the other Survivors so he could get the Hatch...

Hey, I think I've found your 3rd perk.

    Endure and Survive

If there are 3/3/2 generators or more remaining, and only one other Survivor remains alive besides you, gain the ability to approach and Kill the Survivor if they are in the Hooked/Dying/Healthy state.

"And just so we're clear about back there... It was either him or me." - Joel

Toxic AF, but I think it fits him.

  • I'm not gonna lie, I'm super upset that the first Killer we get after Legion also has their power basically hard countered by No Mither.

I totally agree about the random downsides. I just wish we could get Killers with less complicated powers.

I really hope the next chapter has a Killer whose power is all bonus, even if it's a tiny bonus, rather than a bonus + random downsides tacked on to make it balanced.

  • Undecided. But probably a 4 or 3 unless she gets a buff.

I know she has potential, but either I'm missing something or she loses a lot of pressure when using Vile Purge instead of just smacking someone. And doing both is just a major waste of your time unless you've already taken the time to make them Broken.

I also haven't been able to safety pip with her for the life of me, but I'm not sure if that's because I suck at playing her, if her power sucks, or if the new emblem system for Killers sucks.

  • I would be very sad (it took me a while to learn how to play him, and I'm more than halfway done with getting him to P3), but I always have Myers, Huntress, Wraith, and Leatherface to enjoy playing, and the rest of the Killers aren't terrible either.

However, more than being sad, I'd be upset Freddy got nerfed AGAIN (even if it would just be a nerf to his fun factor).

    1) This could be said for most of the killers in the game. Why heal against wraith? I can just loop. Why heal against Billy? I can just loop. Why heal against Myers? I can just loop.

    2) It doesn't take you more than a few seconds to throw some vomit on a survivor. Then they have to go run and find a fountain and cleanse. This takes them more time than it takes you to throw chunks. On top of thag once they do this they grant you one of the most powerful attacks in the entire game - corrupted purge.

Plague is a 2 part killer. I'm starting to understand this now. Phase 1 is childs play. Easy injury on a survivor and a little bit of time wasting mechanics. Phase 2....yeah you hit the deck when that ######### comes out, just like Myers in tier 3.

And I'm pretty sure a lot of Survivors do just that. I know I prioritize gens over healing, since Adrenaline is a thing and since gens HAVE to get done to Escape.

I'm pretty sure OP's issue isn't that "Survivors are doing gens while injured!" it's "Survivors are totally ignoring The Plague's power to do gens!"

While Myers and Hillbilly can punish people who just stay on generators through the use of their powers (stalking and chainsawing from across the map and at a generator), The Plague's initial power provides her no benefit against injured Survivors who focus on generators and her secondary power, while fairly strong, only comes into play if Survivors let it.

Personally my only major issue with her is that, just like Legion, her power is pretty much hard-countered by running No Mither.

  • You mean like how someone did on this reddit post?
Or are we more talking just Dwight with a knife?

  • I once got Groaning Storehouse SIX TIMES IN A ROW.

    I support this change.

  • Well I have a couple...

    1. Freddy isn't the weakest the Killer in the game, his power can screw him over, but when you use it right, he can be extremely powerful.
    2. The Pig is the weakest Killer in the game because her powers are stealth and RNG based; yes her Dash can be used at SOME loops, but in general it's hard-countered by Sprint Burst, Spine Chill, and Premonition. Her add-ons are also mostly garbage and she needs a buff/rework more than Freddy does. (Freddy still needs one, and he needs one before 2020 goshdangit.)
    3. Killer is in a good place right now, with every Killer being both viable and, IMO, fun to play and face. (Except Legion, who desperately needs to be reworked by virtue of being boring.)
    4. Legion is the most disappointing thing to be added to this game. Ever. (And I have earned Kate's Free Spirit top and purchased the NOES DLC.)
    5. Huntress should have another Ultra-Rare. (And it shouldn't be as ridiculously powerful as Iridescent Heads are.)
    6. .
    7. Hillbilly's movement speed while revving his Chainsaw should be reduced and Leatherface's should be increased.
    8. Leatherface is weak and he isn't just for camping, he's actually a decently powerful Killer but very few people know how to play him. Like how Hag was before her buff.
    9. Nea isn't ugly and while Quentin is, he looks better than Laurie does.
    10. Spirit's Prayer Beads are ludicrous and need some sort of downside or nerf.
    11. Dull and Skeleton Keys are overpowered and unbalanced.
    12. Ivory and Ebony Moris are still overpowered and unbalanced.
    13. Most of the Spirit's cosmetics are really lame and she needs love.
    14. David King's void when you combine his shirtless top with his tight punk pants should stay in the game.
    15. Hex: Ruin isn't necessary to play Killer at high ranks.
    16. The Locker buff was a good idea, but adding it at the same time as Distortion wasn't.

Sorry for the lengthy comment...
