Hawkins wants a word with you.
At least hawkins has two rooms with double pallets, and the two upstairs gens are very hard to defend, but yes it is also very killer sided

Also the lag and fps drops might play a role with the player count drop aswell.
I gave up after about two hours, the fact that there is a memory leak causing the fps drops whenever someone plays the Trickster makes it a miserable experience.

To be fair, you're playing Oni on one of the smallest maps in the game. On top of that every loop on the Saloon is dogshit, so I really don't know why you're complaining.
Indeed this is by far the most killer sided map in the game, very easy to three gen
-
Add-on less trapper with no gen regression perks

If you played Wraith without add-ons you would understand

30 FPS are only in the Lobby (it is capped at 30 FPS for whatever reason).
The Memory Leak happens when playing against the new Killer. I always started at 60 and during the match, it went down to 20ish. Really enjoyable /s
Hopefully it is fixed for Live Release.
Yeah why would they think capping the menus to 30 fps is a good idea?
Good to know that it wasn't just me and there is an actual fps problem on the PTB.
-
What's even worse is I know that even if you get them banned they have multiple accounts ready to go anyways so nothing really changes regardless. The anti-cheat in this game just needs to be better.
-
After the last chapter, cough twins cough, this is light years better, however in regards to gameplay design and aesthetic I feel he is pretty meh overall

When i saw the original rework video for him i thought he was getting a Damage Bottle but we didnt.I do like Speed Bottle but their is very little use for them,so the point of this is to make him more Unique & More fun.
The Rework
The Clown has 4 Special Bottles:
Afterpiece Tonic,Afterpiece Antidote,Afterpiece Molotov,& Afterpiece Tar
Afterpiece Molotov:After throwing a Molotov a fire will appear on the Floor,if the survivor stays on the fire for 5 seconds they would be injured.
Afterpiece Tar:After throwing the Tar a Black Smoke will appear,if the survivor goes through it they can only see up to 8 Meters infront of them for the next 6 seconds.
The Clown can now hold 6 Bottles but those Bottles are now specified & the Clown reloads faster when he has More Bottles(For Missing bottle is 0.5s to reload)
2 Afterpiece Tonic
2 Afterpiece Antidote
1 Afterpiece Molotov
1 Afterpiece Tar
The Botlles can be combined to do interesting effects(Note they must thrown over on top of each other to combine)
Tonic+Antidote:Cancels Each other
Tonic+Molotov:Creates a of Fire,if a healthy survivor goes through it they will become injured & gain deep wound.(This cannot down),if the killer walks through it they gain 15% movement speed decrease for 3 seconds.
Tonic+Tar:A black Tar will be spilled on the floor & if any survivor or killer walks over it they gain 50% Movement speed decrease.
Antidote+Molotov:When the yellow gas is out & it make contact with a molotov it will cause a Explosion dealing a health state & if the killer is too close they will be stunned.
Molotov+Tar:Survivor will catch fire & if any pallet they drop will be destroyed within 5 seconds of it being dropped & they vault things 5% slower.
I like this idea, however considering Clown gets very few bottles to begin with, maybe make them add-ons like Freddy's dream pallets? That way you can choose which ones to bring into a match with you.

Mandy has been posting saying it's not out of the realm of possibility that chapters without maps will be revisited.
-
I also would like to know

I doubt that cause its working fine early in the day (I get red rank mates) but later on it just doesn't work at all (rainbow rank mates)
I noticed recently that when I play killers I don't normally play as I end up with bad survivors, but maybe thats just a coincidence
-
Couldn't agree more, however I believe they went with that look simply because they went with the K-Pop aesthetic in the first place
-
Its been speculated that MMR has been turned back on in the background

Your right but you do understand how this perk works. I'm a survivor main and this perk annoys me. Doesn't matter how toxic you are, everyone must understand that this perk benefits of the killer trying to win, it isn't an extremely strong perk but it's an OP concept.
You just said it yourself, it isn't an extremely strong perk, im not sure why this bothers you so much.
-
I have a feeling once they finish remaking the current maps, they will go back and give maps to the chapters that did not include one for ie this chapter, twins, and blight.
Mandy replied right as I posted so I definitely feel that way now lol

If we're just talking about average bubba vs hillbilly, then the Average bubba is better. But if we're talking an expert bubba vs a hillbilly then hillbilly wins easily. Experts hillbillies will curve on loops very precisely making them very deathly, only problem is hillbilly is kinda map reliant.
Couldn't agree more, even with the most op add-ons and perks in play I am much more scared of a person who mains Billy than someone who mains Bubba.
-
@REL1_C said:
But it isn't only deaths, it's per hook.
As a solo, if 3 are on death hook which is normally the case, that's 18 tokens. 18% of a gen is actually pretty good, it saves 14.4 seconds. (65.6 second gen).
Not to mention there's toolboxes, resilience and prove thyself.
Not denying that it makes a slight impact but there are just far better perks you could use, I personally wouldn't ever use one of my perk slots for it unless I was coordinating with other people.

What would you say was the last real case of "very different from the others"?
Twins

@VLight said:
It seems like "haha I go fast" and ranged Killers have been pretty common. Would've been nice to see something different, but as long as the Killer is fun, I don't mind. Trickster seems pretty fun based on what I saw on streams.
And when they did that last time we got Twins smh its like we lose either way.
-
@REL1_C said:
This weren't a smart idea but let's put into practice, 8 hooks instead.
So if every swf member is nearly dead (second hook) and they saved there tokens, that would be 88% of 1 gen or 44% on 2 gens.
At that point you better hope you are down to your final gen or that match is most likely already over lol.
-
@REL1_C said:
So meta perks now seem insignificant, compared to the new perk Fast track. Fast track is a perk from a glance quite rubbish right, wrong.
If I'm correct and this perk stacks, this game is now just been destroyed for good.
Perk description:
whenever another survivor is hooked, you main 3 tokens. You consume all tokens after a great skill check on a generator. Each token consumed grants a 1% bonus progression for great skill checks when repairing a generator.
Seems bad right, what if you put this in a team
3 Token x 3 survivors (1 on hook) = 9 tokens.
The max amount of hooks is 11, so 9 tokens x 11 is 99 tokens. so 99% of a gen, I am stupid right, this can't be true...
While what you say is true in theory, this still requires at the very least four people coincidentally running it or a SWF. In your normal run of the mill solo queue match it isn't the best perk to bring.
Also it would be 3 stacks per up to 9 hooks which is 27 tokens so only 27% per person using the perk.
-
How come we get shirtless Trickster before shirtless Myers? :'(
-
I saw someone mention The Idol and I think that fits him quite well.
-
I'm so happy that they finally made Wraith have windstorm base.
-
Not only that but for some reason they gave him recoil too as if DBD is COD.
-
@Chchchcheryl said:

Well, if I had all 27 stacks and a nearly primed gen god knows I'm taking the points and steal thing away
Fair enough, I think it really only could be good if you are in a SWF and everyone runs it and saves the stacks to use on a gen at the end.
-
@Chchchcheryl said:
Fast track tokens stack up to a max of 27 tokens (if all other survivors were three hooked
That's an immediate 27% on a gen
If your teammates get to nine hooks I don't think you are worrying about gens at that point lol.
-
In some solo queue scenarios using his darken traps add-ons I could make the argument Trapper could apply pressure faster, whether that makes him better long term though? Ehhh
-
Definitely not OP. I would put Nurse, Spirit, Hag, Oni and a very good Blight player above him.

I have normally 60 fps in the live version, but when playing against the Trickster the FPS goes down to 40/30
The lobby and main menus being locked to 30fps is also very annoying.

Yeah the PTB is crap as far as FPS, I hope it gets back to current performance, did you see a huge boost on Midwich for 4.5 too? Because that map used to run like shiiit
Yes but the tradeoff is now the map The Game runs like ######### lol

10700k with a 2080S at 1440P and ULTRA settings, you uncapped your fps?
Yeah I run it at 1080p medium so i can use my 165hz monitor. In the public build i get around 130 but not on the PTB.

Depends on your HW this patch 4.5, I've got the biggest FPS boost i've ever got, even Midwich which i used to go 50-60 is now a solid 130FPS...
Hmm what hardware are you using? I have a 9700k and a 2060 and I have been getting constant frame drops.
-
If we are talking strictly without addons i'd have to say Wraith. His kit may have gotten a slight buff recently thanks to the recent patch but with perks like spinechill prevalent in most matches his power just isn't enough.
