  • There are 84 killer and 84 survivor perks in this game. Each perk has 3 levels which sums in 252 perks to unlock on each character.

You can only get 2 perks per level, so you need 126 blood webs. You need about 50 k bps on higher level P3 per blood web. That means you need about 6 millions blood points to unlock all perks on one single character. But to achieve P3 you have to spend about 1.5 million each for P0, P1 and P2 first which results in additional 4,5 millions per character.

All in all you have to calculate with 10 millions blood points for each character if you want him to be P3 and full perk.

There are 25 survivors and 22 killers in this game.

So you have to earn 470-500 millions of blood points 😁

    -----------------------------------------

Playing a good killer with barbecue results in about 50 k bps per game.

An average game as survivor results in 20 k bps.

That means you need about 25.000 games as survivor or 10.000 games as killer.

Considering queue times you can have about 4 to 6 games per hour.

If we take 5 on average it results in about 2000 hours playing killer or 5000 hours playing survivor. πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ

  • There is no such thing as gen rush if killers achieve a kill rate of 68% on average.

The only persons complaining about gen speed are crying killer mains focussing on 4 k every match and poor guys doing killer adepts with killers without any slow down perks.

The same way 4 survivors can finish 5 gens in 3 minutes a good killer can snowball a whole team in 2 minutes or even less.

Saving teammates with pallet stuns. That was so hard to do without a coordinated team.

    Edit: I am a solo q survivor.

    Power struggle build will help.

  • I have all 173 achievements but the hardest is L4D for sure. Got it somehow luckily before I have even started the achievement hunting.

  • Go and play solo queue for some days.

You will see that wraiths 4 k most of the time. I even see more Spirits ending with 0 or just 1 k than Wraith.

  • Not just on indoor maps. Wraith' high mobility and his uncloak lunge makes him literally unbeatable on shelter woods too.

The game still can't even handle his speed boost. Its always like a lag and the next frame I got hit already. This is dumb.

  • Wraith is on the same level of pre-nerfed Freddy now. Noone considered Freddy an S-tier killer unlike Nurse or Spirit, but on average Freddy had a much higher kill rate than any other killer in the game just because he was braindead easy to play and had a variety of advantages at the same time i.e. teleporting for high mobility, map pressure and gen protection and anti looping snares or fake pallets.

New wraith is literally the same. He has one of the highest mobility among all killers and his uncloak lunge with 1.25 seconds of 150% movement speed makes almost all pallets unsafe. Combined with stealth abilites and a very low skill ceiling makes him one of the best killers against average survivor teams.

I'm pretty sure his kill rate is above of nurse and spirit now.

  • Because every second pallet in The Game is actually a dead end.

  • Dead Hard should be nerfed. Immidiately after the urgent Bamboozle nerf.

  • There is absolutely no problem with keys because of their unsignificant impact on average gameplay. You see a key user like every four or five games and even then this person gets hardcore tunneled most of the time. So bringing a key is actually more of a risk than benefit for survivor.

Also changing the hatch to just another door mechanic with just another progress bar would make this game more boring, too predictable and less diverse.

I did not say they are weak but also not strong enough, max B-Tier.

Dowsey achieved a 4 k streak of what? 200? with twins. They are pretty much A tier. Beside Trickster all recent killers released were decent: Blight, Twins, Deatshslinger are all strong and even Trickster with Pyramide Head arent really weak.

Victor hasn't been able to do that for a long time, the killer needs to be quite a far bit away to release victor to the point that I don't think killer instinct can reach the hook

Just release Vicor first, swtch back and hook a person nearby. Thats what twins usually do now.

That's exactly what I'm saying. And listed reasons why killer is harder. So yes.

Its harder in process, not the outcome.

Otherwise most killers wouldnt achieve about 60% kill rate on average.

Its even more easy to play killer today compared to older dbd.

    • no infinites / god windows
    • no instant heals
    • nerfed toolboxes
    • shrinked map sizes
    • ds nerf
    • balanced landing nerf
    • exhaustion cooldown
    • and much much more

You should have played killer before 2020. THAT was stressful (and the reason why moris were so popular)

Only if there's a significant skill difference between the 2 sides which then it's not the ruin carrying anyway. Ruin isn't free regression, it requires skill with creating high map pressure otherwise it does nothing. Most games ruin is found early anyway.

Again not really. You can even watch some dbd gods like ZubatLEL struggle with ruin if its not found early.

Regardking the skill level of map pressure: many killers combine ruin with tinkerer but with some experience you will gain nowledge on what survivors are doing and which gens are pushed at any given point.

DH is probably the only hex perk that actually lives up to "high risk/high reward" which is what they're supposed to be.

Almost all the hexes currently are high risk/low-okayish reward. No joke almost 50% of the hexes are even completely ignorable..like if you find them cool, if not, cool.

Not really. There are A LOT of games which are just carried by ruin (undying) and noone of the survivors is able to find that totem.

    Let's see...

Killer has to find people(their objective) and is never in the same area

Survivors usually spawn near theirs at the start and only have so many fixed spawn points on maps

Killer has to process a lot of information and try to know where 4 people are at all times

Survivor has to know where 1 player is. And can run bond if they want to know where their own partners are

Killers objective to down someone can take forever depending on map RNG. 50/50s not going their way, etc etc

Survivors objective literally has set times that it takes to complete

Killer has to try and memorize how many hook states any given player has. And memorize how 4 different people play the game

Survivors are told how many hook states someone has so you can try to spread aggro/hooks. And only have to think about how a killer plays

Killer has to rely on mind games and survivors making mistakes

Survivors can control their own mistakes. And don't really have to mind game. And just have to read the killers mind gameΒ

So yes, yes survivor is very easy compared to killer

Dude, are you really telling me playing killer is hard and survivor easy? Just put 3 slow down perks on every killer and holding W will be sufficient most of the time.

You should really play solo queue for some days to recognize how much coordination a good survivor team actually needs.

The only difference between killer and survivor gameplay is survivors can a bit relax on gens, while killer has to stay concentrated all the time. Thats the reason why I can play survivor for 10 hours and killer only for 3 or 4.

You do realize that crouching near Victor makes the Killer Instinct go away, right?

You do realize that you can just hide Victor behind obstacles nearby, right?

  • @GeneralV said:

Ok, I think I have a solution: Hatch Grabs. Just bring them back.

Yea, we need more of good old 30 minutes hatch stand-offs.

  • Vicor's killer instinct should be deleted. Most twins I play against just hook people in front of Victor hidden nearby and immidiately switch back when someone comes for the unhook to achieve an easy hit and let the person on the hook die or hit struggle.

Where's it say in the hand book again that a killer needs to be -hard- to use ? You realize how inherently hard and skillful killer is compared to survivor right ?

Do you think playing survivor is easy? Just holding m1 and occasionally pressing space?

The game should be balanced around 2k or 50% kill rate but in fact most killers are performing well above that value. If you are a decent killer you will 4 or 3 k 95% of the time.

Thats the reason why BHVR nerfed Freddy and not spirit or nurse.

  • I had a game against a wraith 5 minutes ago. This guy had 40 hours in dbd and was rank 1 killer already.

It shows pretty well how braindead easy playing wraith right now is. Literally the new Freddy.

Well I hope people soon realize that using Charlotte to block a door or chokepoint is a viable strategy and is not abusing the Twin's power.

So is camping hooks with Victor and switch immidiately when someone is trying to unhook. This is totally fine.

  • I think BHVR should buff spirit. I cant play her anymore since they removed the in-phase collision. She actually demands some guessing (and good headphones) now and some spirits in my games even get 0 k only. Thats unacceptable.

  • I said clearly what Ive meant. If the animation looks bs on your screen, it remains bs. I understand your argument, but it doesnt make anything better. You can find tons of videos where Freddy hits survivors who are meters aways from his arm.

You should expect a clear animation where killers weapon actually reaches the survivor texture instead of imagine a Trapper with a huge machete in the place of Freddy when a he is about to hit you.

You can predrop unsafe pallets and vault over them to make Wraith hit the pallet instead. Also, decent loops are common af. LT walls are a great example for that. High-wall loops can be used as well, and especially shack. Wraith sucks at shack loop.

You cant predrop unsafe pallets, because you will get hit there. You usually have to stun a killer on unsafe pallets to have a chance to get to another tile. But while playing against most other killers on unafe pallets is a 50/50, wraith will hit you there regardless just because of the uncloak speed boost and massive lunge so he even hits you through the pallet.

I know that wraith sucks at the shack. But you cant stay at the shack for the entire game. Especially when you have to finish gens at literally death zones to avoid 3genning.

You cannot predrop unsafe pallets, because you wont get away from them without being hit. You usually have to stun killers there to get an escape to another tile. But while most other killers have a 50/50 there, wraith just hits you with the uncloak speed boost and massive lunge 100% of time even through the pallet.

Wraith sucks at shack, I know. But you cant stay at shack the whole game when you have to finish generators. Especially 3gens in other areas.

The fact that you say 'He has a crazier lunge than Freddy' shows you really don't know what you are talking about, no offense.

Freddy does not have a longer than normal lunge. It's that his character model is smaller, so it looks like he's lunging further to cover the same distance as bigger Killers.

Thats what BHVR says. But it doesnt change anything. When Freddys hits look like bs on your screen, they still look like bs. It like the recent "desync argument": Its fine if a killer hits you from 10 meters as long as it looks normally on the killer's side.

I also guess Freddys dream world adds some additional lags to the game, so there is a bigger chance to get dedicated.

  • @glitchboi said:

Anyone who thinks buffed Wraith is overpowered is either bad at the game or just new (no offense). When I was new to the game (late 2018), I thought old Bubba was broken. Yes, old Bubba. Not the one with 3 charges.

Please let this bandwagon die down already, it's actually getting annoying.

This is bs. I have 2400 hours in this game and new wraith is literally annoying the same way Freddy was a few months ago since he doesnt have a high skill cap to achieve great results. I used to play old wraith for some dozens of hours and usually 4keyd with him within purple ranks and only struggled a few times within the red ranks (before the infinite nerf). New wraith is much stronger and receives undeserved free hits consistently.

I still don't understand how people don't know his counterplay, which is to not go in dead zones and to focus on decent loops that makes him vulnerable. He's so easy to counter yet people still don't know it.

LT loops and shack also hinder him.

You have a lot of dead zones. A quarter of iron works behind the main building is usually just a huge dead zone for example and you have to finish some of those gens there since its a typical 3gen area. Decent loops on the other hand are pretty rare and you are forced to drop safe pallets immidiately while you are able to run them for 2 or 3 loops against most other killers. Short pallet loops against the new wraith are just a death sentence, since he can hit you with the speed boost and huge lunge regardless so there is no way to stun him and to get to a better spot. Your advice is kind and technically correct but most of the time quixotic.

Over all wraith is A tier now and Im pretty sure BHVR will notice this very soon after analysing his real game performance.

  • Yes, except Bubba.

Yh i know. But it wouldnt really matter when everyone could loop. Hit and run + creating deadzones would take too long on some maps. But all of this doesnt matter if the majority is not able to loop wraith and i dont think they want to learn.

So i just hope MMR is ready soon and i can see what a good wraith can do against a good team.

Easier said than done considering some maps consisting just of dead zones and unsafe pallets where you will get hit regardless.

Only safe spots against wraith right now are shack, god bus and cracked stuff like stacked TL into a jungle gym window. But we all know you can't find such stuff on any map at any given point of time, so wraith basically just gets free hits with zero counterplay which is very fun and interactive gameplay.

I guess I should just buy a 144 Hz monitor and uncap fps if I don't wanna get hit by a flying wraith 100% of time. Or just git gud with over 2000 hours played already.

Wraith is literally the new Freddy. Demanding only a low skill level to achieve high kill rates.

  • New wraith is so boring to play against, so I just dc and deny the killer his hook stages and barbecue points.

I would rather play against spirit than wraith, because with a spirit there is actually some room for 50/50s on pallets. New wraith just hit you on short loops regardless. His uncloak speed boost and lunge is insane, so he is literally teleporting across my screen with 0 reaction time. Even if I guess the direction right I still get hit through the pallet every single time.

This is just bullshit and the same level of fun like pre-nerf Freddy, slugging twins, facecamping Bubba or silent traps hag.
