If they tunnel the hook then why don't you blame your teammates for not farming with BT?
Re-read carefully.
-
I love how this rando just offered feedback about kicking me out of the game completely.
What solo survivor hurt you so bad?
I didn't know I was so OP lmao
-
Only bad killers resort to playing Pig.
Ah yes let me use my skill-less RNG guess-work trap. Sorry bud. No one is going to rework a map around a broken character like Pig
-
Noed is either a wheelchair for noobs or a morbidly unfair domination against a killer who is already doing well.
But I don't have an issue with the perk abilities more so the effort it takes to counter them.
It can require a whole perk or items slot
It can require time FINDING
and time CLEANSING
And its a complete GUESS if any of that is worth it because the killer might not even have Noed.
So a big 'F-you' to solo que players I guess
-
I listed 4 examples. You're more than welcome to re-read it
-
It seems like ridiculous oversight that this isn't included.
Why aren't the names above the character's head while running in the end game lobby? So you can see the customized Meg over default Meg.
Maybe you have a match with 4 Megs. How do you tell them apart??
-
I really hate all visual impairments in this game. I get why they exist but its still really frustrating to deal with.
-
Ruin and Undying is fine. I think Tinker is OP but fortunately most killers don't even use it.
-
I agree with this primarily because the game is grindy as fu#$
-
Right now the issue I'm having against Wraiths (Almost 100% which is crazy) is that they tunnel unhooks so bad. And I believe its because of how fast they can travel the map. Ever since the buff almost every wraith will leave their current chase to go tunnel the unhook.
I just want to see players use Wraith in unique ways but they all play eerily similar. Now that I said it I bet a lot of you will start to notice this too.
-
And like I've said before. I've had matches where we've cleansed all totems. But the team was utterly destroyed by Devour, Haunted, Ruin, Thrill, that finishing whatever gens left was impossible.
You guys act like I'm asking for changes to ruin and devour. Nope. Just the imbalance Thrill creates with full Hex loadouts. Get some perspective and stop being so dramatic.
-
Undying was problematic for completely different reasons as it was unfair to BOTH survivor and killer.
Any heavy RNG mechanic greatly imbalances the game like kobe, hatch escapes, pig head trap, etc
I know this build. I've put every fiber of my being into proving myself wrong. I was a rank 1 for every match I've posted here with full red lobbies.
You guys sit there and complain like I don't know how to play. I'm simply bringing you the statistics. You can't argue against facts.
So you can talk crap all you want. The devs have what they need. I'm just here to point out that the imbalance lies within Thrill of the Hunt.
Guard your own totems weakling. What do you want an AI to do the killing for you?
-
What didgeridoo are you guys smoking? My friend and I got our charms the first 2 matches we got to end game collapse back to back.
Why on Earth is your butthole SO clenched for a simple challenge??? Why are you taking the match SO seriously?????
My friend and I went into the match prepared to die by the entity just to have a fun scavenger hunt.
I cannot believe some of the people that get so butthurt about this game that they feel the need to go to feedback forum to say something as trivial as this.
Miserable people man... lighten up
-
It should be added back. You can't argue that camping and tunneling are strategies but then deny dying on hook as a strategy to spawn hatch.
Also you no longer earn points from struggle state. Which makes the game even more grindy than it is.
All in all, it needs to be in the oven a little longer.
-
Nah man you didn't think this through. Because a tunneled survivor should still be able to use their flashlight while being chased. Seeing as DS is an anti-tunnel perk why would it deactivate for other anti-chase actions? That's like saying dropping a pallet should deactivate DS.
And like Zagrid said. You have 2 people not doing gens so what's your complaint? You want them on the gens instead?
Just look up smarty.
-
You're right it should be allowed. Doesn't mean were gonna stop bullying them for being a puthay
LMAO
-
Went against this build on a wraith today. Again a 4k.
You guys don't understand. Ruin is never the most urgent problem until we have 1 gen left. But by then Devour has kicked in and we've been hooked several times because of Thrill. The killers leave whatever chase, gen, hook to protect their hexes. Several of my team were phenomenal loopers including me but as soon as someone touches the hex the killer leaves to interrupt the cleanse. Thrill of the Hunt is ALERTING them for free protection.
They have NO FEAR of gens because they know the power of the hexes will carry them more than the gens.
So far the statistics speak for themselves. You guys can sit and judge from the outside looking in. But I have presented NUMEROUS of the trials that have so far been 100% 4K with Full Red lobbies.
-
I am back AGAIN to say that I've faced this build against a Trickster. A ######### Trickster! Full red lobby. And they got a 4K.
When I said this build is unwinnalbe, it looks like I was right. Hexes should NOT protect other hexes. These perks are powerful on their own and should require the killer to use skill to defend them.
-
Camper alert
-
I think after keys and hatch get nerfed the key should be buffed by opening chests instantly. Doesn't that make more sense for their use?
-
@Pepaman said:
do you guys think these mismatches are based on SWF groups?
Sometimes yes, But that doesn't explain why as a rank 1 I am getting a lobby of 3 people in brown ranks? If 1 other person in their party was my rank then it would make sense. I'm getting lobbies of people who just installed the game while I have thousands of hours

I mean, it literally removes a consequence of being hurt, and a major aspect of the gameplay. No limits at all. Imagine if enduring removed the pallet stun instead of reducing it. Survivors would have a stroke, yet this is the equivalent.
From the great words of Judge Judy:
"Don't be dramatic"
A perk is a perk. It doesn't make them invisible or invincible. You're just a baby. Killers have stealth. Survivors have stealth. Get over it.
-
HELLO?????
-
Dead Hard is fine and will always exist. Survivors have to go against killers like Spirit and Nurse. You can't complain that it has no counterplay when survivors have to deal with them.
Killers have been getting 4Ks for years against Dead Hard. It's not going to change for 1 noob honestly. I've never once had an issue versing against it. It doesn't bother me. Props to the survivor if they route well and use it to get away

The thing is, you've probably encountered hundreds of bad dead hards. You only remember the ones that get away.
I will tell you. I have missed and ######### up my dead hards maybe 50% of the time. But when it works it works.
It does require skill and if you're losing to dead hard its probably because the survivor was already looping stronger than you.
-
I think its fine as long as they untie it from terror radius and make it x amount meters.
I had nurse who exposed us all around the map using a large terror radius at the pale rose
We would run to get far away from the carry but then BBQ revealed us.
She would be there within seconds. Having to run an insta down nurse with still a lot left on the timer. Rough...
Just make it meters so its the same for every killer.
-
WHY????????
-
What the F**K is wrong with this game?????
-
I guess this is just how the game is now for me
-
Again
-
I think 2 hits is fine. I tried a challenge that requires you to take 2 protection hits. Its actually very difficult.
You have to be near an injured survivor which often means losing another perk to run Empathy. Obviously you have to be healthy. It requires a player to be off of gens following chase. All for something that may or may not come in useful.
I think 2 protection hits would still be a challenge and I welcome a new survivor perk being used.
-
TODAYS MATCHES
-
THIS GAME IS BROKEN. EVERY MATCH.
-
WHY ARE THEY MAKING A SKILL BASED MATCH MAKING?
EVER THOUGHT ABOUT MAKING THE RANK SYSTEM YOU HAD JUST WORK?
-
HELP IT WONT STOP
-
She truly does. I think the whole trapping hooks is probably what most people are concerned with. It becomes problematic when you crouch save but the hag still returns to hook forcing you to run but triggering the trap. It's kinda like well were ######### either way.
I also hate how the screen auto aims when you set off a trap. I've had this ######### up easy saves. Sometimes I purposefully want to set off the trap and vault away but the auto-aim snaps you away. As if the hag bursting out of the ground isn't obvious enough.
-
Went against the build again today. This was the first match we were able to cleanse all hexes. As you can see it is still unwinnable. We had 3 gens left. Thrill of the Hunt is a HUGE issue to the balance. I will continue to provide evidence. So far 100% of the matches with this build has resulted in a 4K
-
To me its just an ABSURD perk. Especially since its FREE to any killer. I also feel like newcomers probably leave the game out of frustration. BHVR is without a doubt LOSING customers because of it. I mean how can you learn a game, understand looping, evading, saving and doing gens but then you get slapped with noed?
Like you're finally getting the hang of surviving only to be utterly destroyed because you only found and cleansed 1,2,3,4 totems. Why would someone play that game?
Every time I think about this perk I thank god I had friends introduce me to the game and help me counter it. I would have never played this game as long as I have without them.
Noed doesn't need a nerf or rework. It needs to be completely removed. It's by far the most unhealthy perk in the game.
It requires time finding all 5 totems
It requires time cleansing all 5 totems
It gives the player insta-downs on everyone (at the end of the game when the players are already weak)
It gives the killer a speed boost
That's too much bullshit honestly. Imagine if survivors had a 1 perk that required all that?
-
But then there's problems of items that are completely useless. Like why does a jar of salty lips cost so much?? Why are there so many items dedicated to saboing?
-
Good luck being a casual player. You guys are F*cked
-
Dead Hard is needed to counter killers like Spirit, Nurse, Deathslinger
It wont be changed
-
The devs have a weird mentality
If the map is easy to navigate the totems are easy to find = double negative for killers
If the map is hard to navigate the totems are even MORE hard to find = double negative for survivors
You think it would be the other way around.
Like why are the totems hidden so well on Lery's? The map itself is difficult to traverse. Sometimes I see a lit totem while in chase but can never find it again.
-
I guess we can also talk about how useless some offerings are. Like spawning your team together.
Or a Jar of Salty Lips... why does it cost so much?? It's literally worthless.
Trim the fat

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/245241/why-new-characters-and-perks-but-not-new-items
The 'Sprint Burst' syringe was actually the Blight Serum event item not too long ago.
Mostly though -- the item grind is far too much as it is now; making bloodwebs ENTIRELY too grindy. We need items trimmed/pruned not more added to the RNG taking up slots. Otherwise - sure add more items, and cut all Bloodweb costs in half.
It's funny you mention that because I just posted elsewhere that they should raise the max earnable points per match to 10K each category for a maximum of 40K a trial.
But despite the grind I would like to continue the ideas if anyone has any.
-
I think lower rank players have trouble with the snares bc they don't understand the benefit to waking up.
As a rank 1, I know to always seek out an alarm clock. I also know to step on his traps when he's not around to get rid of them before I wake up.
But as a rank 1 survivor I have nothing to counter his gen teleport. And it only gets more difficult when there's 1 gen left. Now imagine that but some of your team is dead.
While I do think the match will be more feasible without the add-ons and the anti-loop limit, I think they are still going to see a very high kill rate.
-
I do think they should raise the limit of earnable blood points in a match.
10K for each category so a total of 40K can be earned.
It just doesn't make sense that I've put over 1K hours into this game and still don't have all the teachables yet.
Its rather insane when you put it that way. 1,000 hours...
-
You also cant say "Yun-jin"

just say GG and move on. don’t need to have a whole conversation in the chat about the game.
You logic is so arrogant considering it's called a chat. I've met cool people post-game and even friends that way. I don't want my team to think I'm swearing at them when I'm using normal and in-game terminology.
It's even more bizarre that you read the examples that people posted above and still wasted your breath saying something so trivial and useless to this forum. but okay you do you I guess... Weirdo...
-
You cant say Jake Park which is a character's name
