These are solid ideas
Thanks!

didnt gun do TCM? why didnt dbd lose the licence to bubba?
Because the license owners decided to not give it solely to them and allowed both to coexist. A good call, since, you know...

I'm saving up for Vee.

Unironically twink Sable would go hard. Male characters that arent big hunky dudes are a criminally underexplored market in this game.
Are they? Looks over at Renato...
-
Ghoul has very little counterplay, true.
Krasue on the other hand can be looped infinitely on certain decently long loops with a predropped pallet.
As her vault takes a long time, you can get to the other side of the loop rather quickly.
-
I've had a similar idea.
You gain a token every time a survivor in a 12/24/36 meter radius of you gets injured or downed, up to 6.
Every time you stun the killer by any means, the stun is extended by 0,5 seconds and a token is consumed.
-
Now, neither Hellraiser or Halloween left the game because of BHVR.
Hellraiser had licensing problems with the ownership changing.
And Halloween is being pulled because of the new game made by Gun.
-
Honestly....
With how impossible it is to make Haddonfield balanced I think I will not miss it.

WDYM unhelpful? They are clearly visible AND if you get crows level 3, killer gets direct notification. What's wrong with this system?
The thing that's wrong is that they stitched together 3 mechanics, causing them to drag eachother down.
-
Ironic how Gun thinks that if they will be the only ones with access to Myers, then they will profit more and get Myers enjoyers to play their game.
As if they won't just abandon the game after a year "because the project became too big" (they got the profit they wanted and no longer care to balance the game).
Even if DbD would die, I will not buy their game. I remembered TCM. I remembered FT13.
-
Rework Shattered Hope to be able to close opened Exit Gates, regressing them back to 60%.
Rework Spine Chill so it warns you only when the killer sees your aura.

I'll be in the cold hard ground before I recognize WTL 😆
Same with me and the new names for every perk made general. I will call Gift of Pain by it's rightful name.
Also I do not recognize the blue rarity.
-
So... we should remove the mechanic.... the game was built on... for what reason exactly?
There are AFK crows in place for this exact thing. Granted, they are very unhelpful, but still.

It's gonna be back once the Halloween game is gonna flop. Most of the people are tired of Illfonic and gun media, especially since they stopped supporting TCM and throw it into corner like nothing
I bet that Gun had the license pulled from here to not have any competition. Jokes on them, they will destroy the game without any outside interference.
-
Soo... nerf the perk for normal people and buff it for the screaming Steagulls?
-
I thank you for your service.
-
Funny how the bans work here....
-
I agree.
-
I wish that BHVR would implement a super large Bloodweb as a reward for p100.
Basically you would get a really big bloodweb with many nodes and possibly a slower entity blocker.
-
Can't killers just hit the survivor when they are that close?
Why implement a whole new mechanic for this one specific thing?
-
Same reason Franklin's got nerfed. Or Streetwise changes.
There was a slight change that had a miniscule impact on the perk (Map, Key and Fog Vial update, new Furtive Chase), so the solution was to destroy the old perk.
My tinfoil hat theory is that it was nerfed in anticipation of the anti-tunnel changes.
Because the Haste was changed to Bloodlust, people were able to get a stronger Furtive Chase after each hook. That meant the change to Furtive Chase which could halve your TR. So that meant Monitor was too good apparently.
Even tho the changes never came, so it got nerfed for the funnies I guess.

even for high terror radius killers like doctor and wesker is a nerf.
Yes, the function that makes it bigger is worse.
The function that makes it smaller is more effective on them, tho.
Still, it is a stupid nerf to a fine perk.

The non dash part of the power in this case literally being "M1 killer but with stat buffs," something which should never exist
I would hardly say that dash = 100% healthy design, but I already know your exact opinion on this topic.

Myers was different from other killers purely because of how stupidly basic he was. Unique =/= good, and guess what, he still is unique for being the only dash killer with variable distance based on charge time

Well I'm happy for you being satisfied with current Myers, but you won't convince people of him losing his identity of stalker and traded for being 15th dash killer in the game.
Dash killers - Nurse, Blight, Wraith, Billy, Myers, Pig, Spirit, Legion, Demogorgon, Twins, Wesker, Chucky, Houndmaster, Ghoul, Chucky. So he become 15th dash killer along with being 23rd zoning killer.
This is exactly why I am suggesting a split power, instead of a revert.
The dash has some good parts, and is definitely nice to use after the first batch of buffs. (The free camera was a bit much tho)
On the other hand the synergies with M1 perks and being able to use your attacks freely with no resrictions feels good too.
I simply want variety.
-
I don't see a reason not to.
-
Now, I hate this perk with a passion.
But, if I wanted to change it, I would do this change, extend the stun to 5 seconds, maybe slightly buff the range, and most importantly, change the trigger condition to being on death hook instead of lingering around the TR.

Do people really run Leverage while hard tunnelling?
I feel like that's kinda self-defeating, isn't it? I mean, you're already returning to the hook, they're already probably not going to be healed unless they have something like Resurgence which Leverage doesn't even really help against.
Still, I think playing whack-a-mole with the perks killers who hard tunnel use is a waste of time, hard tunnelling just needs dealing with outright.
I agree, using Leverage in a tunnel build is pointless.
-
I would like them to for starters:
- Remove the cooldown after dropping a drone.
- Return full stealth mode, with 2 slowly spinning scan lines, that don't cause lock on initially, but only after one is tripped, a 360° scan is done with both of them, which does give Lock On stacks. (Idea from @UndeddJester)
- Further increase the Undetectable duration after recalling a drone.
- Rework Loose Screw so it allows you to cause a drone to blow up, dealing damage.
- Rework Infrared Upgrade to allow the drones to scan through walls, or give it to her basekit.
-
It does feel a bit too easy to get there.
I would increase the stalk needed to 6 points (from 5), and return the old stalk system.
-
It's either that or everyone ignoring the event completely.
-
Left Behind is a perfect perk to avoid.
No matter what scenario, there is no real use of this outside of rats.
Sole Survivor, Self-preservation, even Low Profile can have niche uses outside this. Not Left Behind.
-
@UndeddJester said:
There are a lot of scenarios this is real cheap and super easy... there are other scenarios this takes a lot of skill and very accurate aim control to pull off.
I'd be happier with it if his first injury wasn't free via the auto lock being removed, for the reasons that:
- If you're in a map with big dead zones and/or very few resources, you have 0 counterplay basically can't do anything in certain locations within the map.
- If you're a Kaneki player, accidentally grabbing a player while trying to make high skill lunge plays is a constant pain.
- Juking the grab would be actually rewarding at times, instead of just this annoying "just hit me already" interaction.
- Getting hit through a window and having him vault after you is fair enough cause he actually had to aim it instead of grab you for free, and functions basically like a Huntress hatchet, Alien tail, PH punishment or Nemmy Whip.
Heck, if they made his tentacles a skillshot, I'd be happy to buff him in return by giving him enraged mode on his m1s as well.... but this free grab is just ass.
Hmm. I would like to see how Ghoul would function without the autolock. Would it be like Wesker with him having to collide with the survivor, or would it be like it was before except the game doesn't help you with aiming?
-
I've had a hide and seek mode idea in mind for a while, here it is:
• Salvage the old Lights Out, with the darkness, the fog, the lack of information, ect. Make it into a pure hide and seek gamemode, without gens. All survivors can be moried after a single down.
• There is a timer slowly ticking down. Survivors can progress it by searching chests for Candelabras/Lanterns and bringing them to dedicated spots on the map, shortening the timer at the cost of revealing themselves.

It's not the point. Myers was different from other killers. There are so many dash killers - Chucky, Pig, Wesker, Krasue, Blight, Kaneki,… he just lost identity to become one of them but much better. Tell me why would you play Chucky over Myers? Or Pig? Now all his stalk is just to stare at someone for 10s to become instadown 60s dash killer that shreds through pallet, which again there are many pallet shredding killers - Demo, Nemo, Blight… but none of them have instadown, which again is just powercreeping after powercreeping.
Good point. There is no reason to pick Chucky over Myers. Pig is debatable because party hats, but in the dash category Myers is much better.
The main issue with this rework was that we took a killer that sure, was basic, but had his own charm and great build variety and we made him the dash killer no. 15.

it refunds the bp tax after you complete the bloodweb level or back out of the bloodweb. if you buy the offering for 4000 bp, it will give u 2000 bp back. idk why they did this change, it really triggers my ocd seeing that the halloween event and christmas event items are rare rarity instead of being with the rest of the event items down in common rarity
It does? I didn't know that lol.
-
I feel like they did it to make disarming drones a bit more of a risk.
Also, the old Undetectable was quite spammable, which people did not like.
Anyways, now that the status effect issue of Skully is solved more or less (Haste is almost a non factor, and Undetectable is now a risk to disabling drones, meaning she has no "free" status effects anymore), can we finally start adding good buffs, like stealth mode for instance?
-
This is a plausible solution....
.... that will likely never get put in the game because the flood of complaints would drown us all.
-
I feel like the map is fine.
I especially love it for my stealth killers and trap killers.

Iridescent feather was always a weird one to me. If I remember it still decreases crows by 1 for some reason.
→ Remove downside of losing crow
→ When you damage swarmed survivor, Artist is granted undetectable for 30s
Oh, good point. I forgot about that. I will add that in.

Just so people don't have to look add-ons up to understand what changed:
Severed Tongue basekit: Reduces your Slow-down time by -0.5 seconds after launching Dire Crows.
Choclo Corn: Increases the Timer before idle Dire Crows disintegrate by +2 seconds.
O Grief, O Lover: Swarmed Survivors suffer from the Exhausted Status Effect.
Silver Bell: Swarmed Survivors suffer the Oblivious status effect.
Ink Egg: Increases the number of summonable Dire Crows by +1. Reduces the Timer before idle Dire Crows disintegrate by -2 seconds.
Garden of Rot: Survivors suffer from the Exposed Status Effect for 4 seconds after repelling the Swarm.
Oil paints seems a little good for just a common...
Also is there a replacement iri missing, if Garden of Rot is being made very rare? And on that note, what does a 2m longer flight path mean exactly?
Otherwise sounds good to me!
Sorry! I forgot that. The new iri would be the Severed Hands. It feels like it fits the category much better.
About extending the Flight Path, that means the distance at which crows deal damage without swarming. So with this addon, you can sort of snipe people and not have to deal with the two hits needed problem.
About Oil Paints, I could swap that effect with the one Ink Egg has, as one extra crow is not nearly as big of a thing as one would think.

Yes, but having to use a perk to know if my add-ons got triggered or not is kind of a waste of a slot and bad design.
Yeah, kinda.
-
People exaggerate here... A LOT.
-
Safe zones would not be the greatest idea.
Imagine if a survivor was sitting in a locker the whole game, and could not be pulled out due to Haed On or smth. Infuriating for either side.
Especially since some people playing this game are very petty and stubborn.
-
I would not revert them since they were very abusable, but would like them to be refundable.
If they do not bring you to the map, they are returned to you, with Sacrificial Ward negating this and consuming them anyway.
-
@lettuchia said:
Imagine complaining about a dash power being generic but wanting "m1 with stat buffs" to come back. We don't need a compromise, we need people to stop complaining that Myers finally has a salvageable power design
With all due respect, that is just your opinion.
Mine is that old Myers was more unique than the new one.
And it is quite unlikely either of us will change our opinions.
-
@Elan said:
I never truly enjoyed Myers neither playing against him, but now it feels like playing against Bubba on steroids with extra steps, you have pallet, you survive for moment, you don't, you die. With lucky RNG you can last a while, with some (fe. new Cowshed) you gonna die no matter what.
I have noticed that more people seem to agree with this.
That said, do you think my changes help?
-
I would bet on an addon pass.
-
Now, I don't think BHVR will allow this, but I can offer a semi-alternative.
Overwhelming Presence is quite good for the exact kind of scenario you described.
-
This is... completely wrong data wise?
I don't feel like chacking the wiki rn, but I'd swear that the fastest repair speed with 4 survivors on a gen was around 40 seconds.
Also, 110 second gens would be a bore. I'd rather see buffs to Pain Res.
-
Huntress, Dredge and Demo are too low, and Skull Merchant and Freddy are too high.
Otherwise I agree.
