A clown that runs both invigoration addons + PWYF is essentially putting all his eggs in one basket, and it's a meme build. That Clown would do much better running cigar box + garish makeup kit or bleach + chloroform with slowdown perks.

Played 2 games against killer running them game was literally over before at 4 and 5 gens. The already good buffs to huntress are now way more noticable.
Do you think you would have won if she had different addons? Sounds like you got guys got rocked by a good Huntress.

And so they introduced finisher mori, the very thing that ACTUALLY stops ONE and ONLY situation where "unneeded" slugging happen.
But for some reason people complained like madmen, as if they have no tomorrow, despite that system not having any, literally ANY logical reason to remove.
Well I could be convinced to believe BHVR just couldn't make it look any better so they scrapped it, but if they seriously backed it because of "feedback" that was plain nonsense, it'd be most illogical decision ever.
FR I did not get the issue whatsoever, I loved it

-50% for four hooks until all scourage are gone and then another -30 just for a hook -200% total when all all scourage and then -240% for the pops after all pain res tokens are used that’s a total 4 gens worth of regression I didn’t know having to do 9 gens per match as a survivor was healthy but go off sis 🥰
You say this like the killer just presses a button and the perks activate. It's the survivor's fault if the killer gets maximum value out of pop/pain res, it requires multiple people to be going down rapidly in chase.
-
It could be 10 seconds idc, as long as it's not like in 2019 when those crutch-lords paired it with UB and did generators in my face.
-
What exactly do you want beyond what exists?
-
Take away the killer's free will, unbind WASD if they don't hook every survivor sequentially
-
A casual blight and a pop/pain res/DMS/tinkerer blight are two very different creatures

Old DH justed need you to be injured to work. Hooks had nothing to do with it. If it was like that now, the first chase would last longer, and there would be a lot less tunneled martyrs. Its probably more of a personal want, but dammit, I want it lol.
But that doesn't prevent tunneling, that just means every single survivor is harder to catch
-
@Spare_Them_Mori_Me said:
I'd bring back old DH to combat the tunneling meta atm. It can revert back to the miserable husk we have now after. It wouldnt stop it ofc, but it's make getting tunneled less painful lol
How would it combat tunneling if you haven't been hooked yet? That just makes early game harder on killer for no reason.

Demogorgon
He is one of the wacky fun killers along with Nemmy and Hux, but I haven't seen a Demo in over a month
-
I think the problem with buffing it back would be the fact that some killers (Nurse, Alien, Knight) are OP in chase and their winrates would be artificially boosted by having such a long grace period.
This is one of the penalties of designing killers with such a huge power gap. C-tiers can't have good stuff because the S and A tiers would be able to abuse it.

Just.... Don't try to use breakout on Oni for like a week? Why killswitch him?

Your whole thread has just been rageposting start to finish
-
As a Clown main, I hesitate to ask for Clown buffs because it would just look like I'm salt-posting, but years ago someone had the thought of letting Clown bust bottles on generators to make them repair slower and/or have Huntress Lullaby on them. I thought that would be a good way to give Clown mild map pressure while he chases a survivor.

Extremely poorly thought out

When was the last time you saw a Myers that wasn't running Tombstone or scratched mirror? He sucks so bad default that you have to use his wacky stuff.

Has someone had ransomeware installed on their PC thus far?

Twins
I am permanently scarred by release twins and all the bugs of that disasterous update
-
What do you want the killer to do to bring the game back when they're losing?
-
That is a one-in-a-million occurrence that you will probably never experience again
-
Same reason you would pick Nemesis over Pyramid Head. He's there if you want a more versatile but less impactful power.
-
This actually means nothing and does not dissuade a single argument in favor of nerfing Ultimate Weapon.

The thing is, with Dissolution they have to decide if they want to vault the Pallet (and trigger Dissolution) or not vaulting the Pallet, which might result in a Hit.
More attention should be given to Brutal. Could be a good perk for the m1 killers if it was even 35%, but as it stands, the difference is almost imperceptible.
-
"Skill expression" is not a warrant for a redesign. Legion has tons of fans and he has one of the lowest skill ceilings in the game. Balance problems are what actually warrants redesigns.

This post is an example of what I was about to say which is that quick switching typically triggers the killers who bring their egos into the game. To them, your quick switch basically tells them that you’re a challenge that must be destroyed, or that you’ve somehow insulted or mocked them and therefore they have to put you in your place by tunneling you out or BMing you. It’s usually ego based.
Whats funny is so many people mock survivors about the “survivor rule book” when killers have just as many rules they expect survivors to follow. Only difference is if you don’t follow them, the killers actually have the power to lash out and ruin the game for you for not complying. 🤣
You can play 100 games as killer, and every single time someone last-second switches, it will be a taunting flexer that wants to ruin your day. You would know that if you played killer. My reasoning is not unfounded.
-
I quit Bubba because he relies too much on the survivor f-ing up. Would rather play Clown or Nemesis for quick chases on my own terms. He def needs a couple % faster move speed when sweeping.
-
I would kill to see an Oni in my games, I haven't had an Oni in ages.
-
I generally take a last-second switch as the survivor flexing their pecs at me and will make a point to try and kill them first
-
@GolbezGarlandGabrant said:
Is 1 person quick switching all that bad? I'm a Solo player and I spend that 60+ seconds spending BP and try to quickly switch before I get locked in a survivor I wasn't intending on playing.
If I go to a generator and I see two survivors, one of them troll-switched and one didn't, I'm going for the switcher.
-
Hook suicides contribute what % to the kill rate? Because they happen every day all the time for extremely petty reasons.

I've seen this argument so many times.
If you want to use this argument you're either misunderstanding how statistics work or arguing in bad faith.
60% kill rate roughly equates to an on average, 2.5 kills per game, meaning that survivors are seeing 1.5 people escape on average.
When looking at this statistically, an above average game for killer would mean that they would receive a 15% increase to their kill rates, landing them at 3 kills on an above average match with 1 survivor escaping.
An above average game from the survivors would land them at a 55% escape rate, meaning that even when survivors play above the average match threshold, they are are only getting 2.2 survivors out on average.
2 Kills, 2 escapes is considered a draw for the killer.
So, even while using this example of not equating kill rate and win rate, a below average game for killer statistically equates to a draw, 2 kills on average.
At this point, what more do you want? Draws are a part of the game, the "win rate" should not be 50% or higher, so many people forget that shooting for a 50% win rate means that the spread would look more like 50% win, 30% loss, 20% draw.
I'm willing to bet that the reason the devs are happy with this statistic is the overwhelming number of survivors that kill themselves as soon as they're hooked the first time, thus boosting the kill rate by probably a good few %
It happens every 2 games for me
-
Because he's an extremely good chase killer, possibly the best, and a sneaky Wesker means unavoidable downs. Honestly they should think like this more and give every killer a unique TR tailored to their power.
-
Tunneling is a common comeback tactic and taking it away just makes more games into one-sided stomps. Plus "tunneling" isn't a perk, it's target choice and to nerf "tunneling" just means taking free will away from the killer.
-
Survivors upset that the killer is using a comeback tactic part 4063746835406743

Legion
You know the phenomenon where blind people's other senses become crazy attuned? The lack of chase power makes me more reliant on mindgames and thus makes me better at them. The frenzy itself just gives me more time to get in chases and play the mindgames.

"Petty", "spiteful". Some mental gymnastics going on in this threads because a survivor did not die in the way the killer preferred for some meaningless steam achievement the survivor might not have known is being attempted. If that even was the case. Better luck next time.
Explain how it isn't petty to sit in a locker for several minutes on a lost game for the sole purpose of denying an achievement
And don't tell me they might not have known, there is no explanation for this behavior that doesn't involve them being aware of the achievement.
-
Why are people suddenly going after the generator damage perks when generator blocking is the meta?
-
Give the survivors basekit bond and windows and alert and kindred and better together and left behind so they can turn their brain off completely
-
Year 3 I'll call my favorite because it contained both my favorite survivor and killer.
5 is my least favorite because of how lazy the Twins update was. ZERO of the perks worked on release, the killer was only good for camping and there was no map. Actually quit playing for a while when that update dropped.

Most of the maps are large and open, which makes this perk useless because you can see a survivor alerting a crow if you look up and there are some maps that don't have crows at all, like midwich and RPD.
There are better information perks too.
Your FOV is not 360 degrees
The perk activates constantly and will reveal hiders in places you never would've thought to look. People immediately dismiss this perk because of the above mentioned condition, but you will find many situations where you wouldn't have been able to spot the crow.
-
I thought about picking up Pig after the buff and then remembered she's still a 32 meter TR lol. Crappiest stealth killer ever.
-
Jeff increases your survival rate by 80% because he is a based gigachad and also very good at the game and handsome irl
-
Don't bother pondering this, there are too many insane people on the internet. Some portion of the survivor team will have a problem with either your killer, your perk, your addon, or your playstyle. If you load into a lobby with 4 flashlights and you equip franklins, you're a toxic troll. If you camp endgame (because there's nothing else to do), you're a boring tryhard. If you found somebody while they were hiding, you're cheating (got called out by a ttv for this a couple days ago)
Remember that MCote told us this game was designed to be frustrating and go with the flow.
-
Considering how big this game has become, the customer service and anti-cheat is abysmal.

1- Doesn't do anything because smart killers just wait 5 seconds out
2- Doesn't do anything in normal games except when the killer is holding a 3-gen on purpose
3- With basekit BT basically hinders the perk useless, and it means you are getting tunneled which is already something really strong that the killer can do basekit
4- DS? I figure this post is a joke now, but let's continue
5- Strong maps? reality: many maps getting nerfed, Coldwind is one, if not, the most killer sided map in the game as of right now
6- The game is pallet city, however, break all pallets and there's what left? Also, any DBD expert will agree The Game is killer sided
7- Bound to be nerfed soon
8- Killer mains are already crying over this perk, I won't be surprised if a nerf is coming
9- A nerf is already coming
10- The only good thing that survivors got for the past couple of years, and it's just a QOL for solo queue
11- Yes please, continue
Hook grabs doesn't change much, you can still down the survivor performing the rescue. If you are too late if Dead Hard hits or if they are running Mettle of Man, well, unlucky
Why are we pretending the anti-3-gen mechanic isn't a huge deal? Do you play killer? Do you run a generator perk like surge, pop, or eruption? If so, then you probably see it every game. Regular kicks combined with Surge downs means you hit the limit a LOT. Survivors are always gonna come back to the gen they made the most progress on, it's not really avoidable.
