Why is everyone so sensitive these days? It's unbelievable.
Just because the skin color of Claudette is black/dark, it's racist when you use it on Bubba?
I guess nothing is safe against cancel culture these days, even a game. Sad.
People are just getting more crazy everyday by calling everything with a different color racist. I don't think that's a world I want to live in, tbh. Just treat eachother with respect, regarding the skin color of someone. Acts matter, not your skin color.

Oh, I forgot to mention that they made a whole new offering for the event, so all my old halloween offerings are completely useless and are left to never be used again. I have like 150 across all my characters from last year. So many wasted BP I can't use for something else.

What I like is:
- Extra rift that gives also progress towards the main rift
- Pumpkins with a trick or treat
What I don't like is:
- Hooks are getting sabotaged
- No bonus BP for you when another survivor does the event gen (why even remove that in the first place?)
- Event gens and hooks are really lackluster, they don't get your attention instantly (like, wow, this is an event gen)
- Event rift requires a certain perk, which isnt in the shrine so you need to pump out 9k shards or real money to get that challenge...
- No bloodhunt or community goal towards a bloodhunt (get x amount of pumpkins/treats from pumpkins to unlock a special event)
For me, is this is the way towards events, it feels really lazy tbh. They removed events to get a great event during anniversary and halloween and this is what we got? Might as well remove the events altogether and get some log in bonusses.
And yes, I'm entitled maybe. But they promised they would go out of their way with the 2 main events and all we got is a recycled anniversary and this event.

I noticed too some freezes when unhooking. I played one game, so don't know how the rest goes.

Only when there is a ttv in the lobby or when they play an indoor map offering (when I'm killer). Can't stand indoor maps.

They do these surveys to give you an idea you get to have some input in the game. I almost never see any changes made because of those surveys so I don't even bother filling them. Waste of time.

I think only support can help you with that. Maybe Xbox can refund you the purchase you made through their store, but other than that, you have to wait till support helps you again.
Maybe Mandytalk can help you getting your ticket, but I don't know that for a fact.

It's a'ight. It's nothing special, especially for those of us who were around last year as it's basically last years event but we're kicking pumpkins instead of poking weird flower things.
I'm not using it because of the infinite loading bug (or at least loading for a very long time).
I like the event but also don't. The pumpkins are really fun and I like that there is a special rift for the event.
What I don't like is that there is a completely new offering, making my 61 petals useless on Kate from the past events. Thats like 180k BP I gave out and can't use. And I have petals on other killers/survivors as well.
And the fact you don't get any bonus BP when someone else completes a special gen, I don't understand that decision.
Survivors can also just sabo your event hooks again, which is dumb.

I wish we could have them the whole year, but when an event is in, they change for something else. I like the chance of the haste effect, gives something else to do.

Do you go straight to killer when trying to play? Because when I do that, I get the infinite loading screen.
When I play a round of survivor and then killer, for me the infinite loading screen is gone.

I think you're right.
Tbh, since some time, I just lowered my expectations. I just go for BP and I don't go for hooks unless I get them. A kill is great, if not, so be it.

I think I found something, don't know if it is already said.
When I start up the game, and go straight to killer, I have the infinite loading screen.
When I start up the game, play a round of survivor and then switch to killer, I don't have the infinite loading screens and my match will start.
On survivor I don't have the infinite loading screen.
People used different offerings and on different maps. Items didn't matter too. Crossplay also not.
Maybe the survivors also get the infinite loading screen when the killer is playing his first match of the day (going straight to killer when starting), but that's a theory.

I'll end this by saying I appreciate the time and committment put forward by the Giggles, Patrick and Justin. I enjoyed the stream overall even if I am incredibly disappointed by this. I know literally every question can't be answered it's impossible but if the issue of boon totems can be quickly addressed like they were, so can the issue of cheaters.
Tbh, they always dodge the hot subjects. Like console optimisation promise, when people call them out on it, they just go radio silent. It's the same every time with these devs.

They should make it so you can keep your event cakes and event items during prestige, and I will prestige most of my survivors or killers instantly.

So in theory... If you make an alt account and play on that, stomp killers with your 5k hour knowledge (so chase for 5 gens) and you let yourself die on purpose during EGC... you can stomp newbs for the eternity?
And they worked 2 years for that?!

I can understand your frustration.
What I do in situations like that, where the genrush is just stupid and I don't stand any chance, I just let them rush their gens and let them escape. No need to bother with those teams. Take a small bathroom break, get some snacks or drinks, make yourself comfortable. Hell, maybe exercise in the mean time.
I just did the laundry when I got 0 hooks with 1 gen left because the genrush was abysmal. (before MMR). I just go afk, let them get their easy win and move on. In the meantime my household stuff was done and I was way more relaxed. I also just focus on other challenges or dailies when playing killer. I don't expect anything anymore with this game in terms of kills with all the second chance perks.
Hopefully you can find a way for yourself to enjoy killer more. This game can be really fun, if you can manage to make it fun for yourself or takes small breaks when the survivors are just there for an easy win (and want to cry because they don't get any pips because you didn't participate in the game anymore since they didn't care for your fun).

Maybe something for ALS, for the fog whisperer Puppers (the community of streamers did an event for the ALS for Puppers).

I feel they should only abandon last gen consoles when they're a lot in stock so everyone could get one.

I'm still for the idea that you should get the chance to try out a new killer for a few rounds before making the decision to buy it.
Consoles don't get a PTB, so we can't try out the new killer for ourselves on those platforms.

I don't even bother anymore with reporting. It takes an half a hour to make a report because you need to find people their steam id, and so on.
A report for 2 killers in the game shouldn't take 30 minutes.

They won’t though, since they know lots of those teams(who spend money on cosmetics and show them off in their videos) play this game to bully or humiliate the killer and if killers were actually fairly balanced around them, those players wouldn’t play or stream their bully matches.
Not everyone who plays this game is on comms.

If I can give my honest opinion, BP codes and Charm codes should never expire. That way new players can also get the BP boost and the Charms. Some codes are only active for 24 hours, that's really costumer unfriendly imo.

I think the game is getting stale at this time. Okay, they still develop the game with the map reworks, but the decisions they make are sometimes mind baffling. And that's fine, it's their game. But I don't always get why they change things nobody asked for, like the HUD. Maybe it was for the Pinhead chapter, but did we really need a HUD change for that one hook in the left bottom of the screen?
Also the grind is just getting terrible every patch with content either. Imagine being a new player who wants to prestige a few survivors or killers or just get a lot of teachables. Every 3 months there are 6 or sometimes 9 new perks to get. The BP gain is so abysmal, even with BBQ or WGLF. And they have acknowleged the grind too, but it takes ages to even get a glimpse of a change or suggested change.
I can also imagine you see almost the same killers at high mmr too as survivor or need to play certain killers to even get a chance to get a kill. That's making the game pretty boring as well. Especially when the mmr is just broken like Pulsar is experiencing (playing killers who you never played before and still getting the same survivors in your lobbies).

I'm sorry you feel this way when playing the game.
I don't think you want to hear this, but maybe this game is not exactly for you then. If you got a 7 day matchmaking ban because of anger, that's not healthy.
Other advise, if you really want to continue with the game, is to stop when you feel your anger rise. Just go afk for the rest of the round to avoid the penalty and then just quit for the day,

Maybe you can make a comparison between your main killer account and the alt killer account. If you notice no difference, then there might be something wrong with the mmr altogether.
Like I understood it, your mmr should be high for a killer you play a lot, and really low for a killer you never play.
Example: Your blight is 100, but a killer like trapper (just saying one of course) you never touched, should be 0.
So if a brand new account, after 20 games or something, is not different than your main killer account, then there might be a problem with mmr.
Of course you should play a bit less good then normal, so if there are really new players, you can give them a chance.
My mmr is not that high, so I think I would not see a difference.
I hope my post makes a bit more sense, I'm really tired and can't concentrate too good this moment :)

You can't weaken the voice communication when it's a third party software or imbedded into the console software.

I don't know if you can share games on xbox, but maybe you can try out an alt account to try how that is? I don't say that you should stomp survivors, but seeing your other thread about performance, I think you're the right person to investigate how it can/will affect the gameplay (and also maybe get you some more fun matches in the meantime as killer).
And if you want to play survivor, you switch back to your main account.

If your internet connection is so bad, why do you queue up before looking into that issue? I think you DC way more often (maybe on purpose) than you claim.
My internet was once bad as well and I looked into why before I even started up the game again.

Okay, I've played some matches (about 10-15 games) after I got done with the rdr2 gamepass and the new patch with the new killer.
I have to say, the game runs way smoother for me then before the Pinhead patch. I get way less stutters at this moment. The occasional Bloodlust or Sloppy lag, but not the stutters out of nowhere when nothing is happening.
I have to say, taking a break from this game to wait for this patch, was worth it. I really, really hope they can keep this up. The game is more enjoyable for me now on console. So for once I want to give a positive note haha, I sincerely hope the devs can make the game run better from now on since they performance increased for me on the ps4.

I feel they should give out BP gifts way more often. Not for being entitled, but since they need to take their time for the rework, maybe give this as a temporarly solution. The 500k BP compensation was really nice to get tbh. We didn't have a log in bonus for like 1 or 2 months.
Shards will only get you so far every week and I also want to save some for chapters or cosmetics.

I almost never run slowdown perks, except when it's in the adept kit of the killer. I play killer for fun and points, not to sweat.
Like Clevite says, if the survivors want 3 minute games, so be it. I don't care.
Never been in red ranks and never had the desire anyway to get there as well.
My build is something like this:
BBQ, Enduring, Brutal Strenght and another perk, like Lightborn, Iron Grasp or Agitation. Or if I feel like another perk, I will swap the last one out for something else. With this build I got to high green ranks, which was fine for me. Sometimes I stomped a group, sometimes they stomped me. It's whatever.
I hope the streamers are having a succes, but I doubt it. The boycott failed as well as far as I know, since a lot of people would buy cosmetics anyway. But I admire the try.
