Last match 2 DC's right ta the start. Match before that, one DC. This ######### is ruining the game and the devs just refuse to touch it.

DCing is its own department to deal with, reports have nothing to do with people DCing in matches and reporting them because of DCing doesn't do anything because they already have logs to see it themselves.
It requires a threshold to even be banned for DCing as some people DC on mistake all the time, that's why people who do it on purpose know not to do it multiple times in a row.
I know, he just said that. My question is, if they ARE dealing with DCs themselves without the need for reports, then why is it still a problem? Truth is, they're ignoring it. They won't punish people DCing because that would mean punishing survivor mains and making them unhappy.

There's no need to report that. We track DCs automatically through our backend. You can make an in-game report if you'd like, but it will not change the outcome.
Then why are there still so many people DC'ing from every single match?

Since deep wounds now pause inside of the terror radius, the killer would be able to tell if they were near the survivor by watching the deep wounds timer. This is basically like a built in whispers and wasn't something we wanted at this time.
Did you forget that the Doctor exists?

Survs just dc for a boatload of reasons. Mostly because they just get down but dedicated servers are coming and punishments are coming
People keep saying this but I don't have as much confidence. Punishing DC's would mean upsetting survivors, which the devs would absolutely not allow.
-
Because the devs encourage this behavior by rewarding them with killer nerfs and no punishment for DC'ers.

@Perelie: Just try to imagine how the game would work if survivor wouldnt have any of these perks. If you can do this you will be enlighted to understand that this would be total nonsense of gameplay.
I don't have to imagine because I played the game before they were ever added...

It was tested by console players in kyf. It takes time to gather feedback and decide what to do with these things.
I hope you're making a joke..

Chase the unhooker? I mean I tunnel but I don’t complain when I’m punished for it.
You seem to have a very narrow view of what I'm talking about. I'm talking about a range of perks with this problem and how they overall affect the game.

Pebble is good. Pebble is life.
I'll be out there in this corner checking for small pebbles while you get hooked.
I'll throw a Pebble to lure the killer away after saving you.
Wait... why are you running back to the killer... don't!
Welp, that was a loss of a good Pebble
Also:
''I have 3000 hours in the game and I never get bamboozled by a Pebble''

I'm pretty sure not_Queen likes Pebble. :)
Oh cool, devs ignoring serious threads about game-ruining balance and feedback from players but they have time for off-topic shitposting. That's epic.
-
By "don't tunnel" you mean "don't bother trying to hit them"
-
They can fix it by removing it, along with all the other baby crutch perks the devs keep giving survivors.
-
Deadhard and Borrowed Time. With all these combined you get survivors who can loop indefinitely and none of your hits matter.
It's not fun, it's frustrating and feels completely unfair.

it counts toward my stbfl so I’m ok with it personally.
This isn't just about MoM, this about the mountain of free escape perks that unfairly negate killers hits. If I hit a survivor, it should count.
-
With the dev's survivor bias, I wouldn't at all be surprised to see him nerfed..

It's not quite that simple. If you just add a punishment to anyone playing in Survive With Friends, there would be nothing stopping people from queuing up at the same time and leaving the lobby if they don't get matched with their friends. Doing that, they would be able to completely avoid the penalty. On top of that, not all SWF groups are great. The vast majority are just a couple friends playing together and chatting in the background. Punishing them the same as a group that's trying as hard as possible wouldn't really make sense.

Although it's not quite a haiku, it was a noble attempt and I do approve.
Punishing survivors isn't fair, so let's punish killers even more instead. 👍️
-
They literally only play survivor, which makes a lot of sense considering the balance of the game.
-
They should but they wont. I have no idea why they absolutely refuse to fix such a game-breaking bug that prevents people from loading in.
