Yeah, it can be frustrating seeing that gold esp when you get a challenge requiring devout iri and it gives you gold.
The wording of the text is misleading and omites a critical detail, which is sacrificing all 4 survs. In addition to 9+ hooks you need to also secure the 4k.
Cheryl escaping through hatch was what secured the gold.
In essence, do what you did but don't risk hatch on last surv and you'll be good to go.

My ancient AM3 Gaming Build been running for 10 years of non-stop use…it told me it's ready to retire. Sad to see my C5FZ bite the dust…she was a fine mobo.
Definitely taking this opportunity to upgrade to a more powerful system that's current gen AM5/LG1700. Luckily found a good deal on parts. Already got my new Mobo and Ram…just waiting on CPU. 😱 Salvage what I can from the old system. Might build another AM3 workhorse with these parts that can't go into the new rig.
The first game I will test on my new setup is Elden Ring.

When they compared the old vs new ones I think the old ones has that old DBD gritty style and the new ones look so "commercial" and too "modern" looking if you will. Even tho the game has lost the horror aspect pretty heavily nowadays, having the old ones would still feel good I think and would suit the game better.
I'll have to check it out, thanks for the link. They've definitely had some portraits that have gone from threatning and scary to goofy, cornball, and meme territory.

I think the anniversary gave me brain rot. There was a moment I was playing and I clearly remember saying to myself… Ok keep the remote hook and pallet break feature for killers, but revert DS to it's original pre-conspicuous action state and see how it goes. 🤪🤑

I once tried to bodyblock for this Nancy that was getting tunneled and I sandbagged her so bad, worse than I ever accidentally sandbagged anyone before, by completely blocking the exit of the structure she was at, and I kept doing that thing where in real life you walk the same direction to get out of the incoming persons way, then you both move the same direction again.When nemesis came out, the first match I had a Leon give me his flash bang. Me thinking it was the vaccine gave it to a teammate to use cause he was infected, as I ran away, I saw the flash bang detonate and him blinded and they dc’ed.

The Nancy story gave me a good laugh to start my day :).
Flashbang can lead to some pretty funny moments. I tend to throw mine accidently and blind either myself, or a group of us and I can't help but crack up when it happens. I'll be trying to save my teammate and I barely miss the window on the animation and blind everyone in the area while frantically hauling ass away.

Wow, you have not seen Pig in 2 months? That is bonkers. 😲 I can almost predict at least 1 when I play surv. Which is great cause our shining heroine Amanda has inspired so many new followers with her recent buffs (which we of course hit the bullseye with our analysis). But I also come across new recruits who do not want boops. No fun 😪😝
It makes me even that much more dedicated to doing my part for the cause of keeping snoot boops alive.

Considering the lifespan of this game is finite, I'd like to see them spend as much time and resources as they can getting strictly horror ips. It's not discussed much, but we all can identify which crossovers stick out like a sore thumb and i'd go out on a limb and say many of us have similar feelings about them. There are still a lot of well-known modern and older horror icons left for both sides to possibly get in-game before they shut down the servers for good. As much as I'd love for the game to go on forever, it's already approaching a decade.
Part of me believes Lara and Cage are just softening us up for the inevitable… FNAF. I mean, it made both lists…

Have you finished it?
The last boss I had to fight took me well over 70 tries and around 3 hours. It genuinely felt impossible.
Mimic tear didn't help either. Died in literally under a minute...
I'd love to know how you guys tackled that boss.
All around truly a 11/10. Pig seal of approval.
Im now gonna try to go for 100% exploration, finding all items.
Then when I found everything, I'm gonna go ng+2.
All bosses (except that one boss) felt a bit too easy after the patch buffed the fragments.

No I still haven't bought the DLC. This month I spent my DLC money on D4 Vessel of Hatred instead and got the upgraded edition…Jungle cat go brrrr.
Hopefully I will get a chance to play it soon. Good reason to dust off the old Unga Bunga str build and run through The Lands Between again before I get my hooves on the DLC and dive right into it.

There has been little hype outside of what has been said. To paraphrase I also think some people didn't have their expectations tempered after hearing "We have someone who knows how to survive" and see it as violating the arbitrary "strictly horror" rules. Their hype died seeing an "Action/Adventure" and "Horror-adjacent" IP instead of some of the other horror names floating around like Isaac, Jennifer, Sydney Prescott, etc…
The Dead By Fortnite crowd is expecting FNAF soon.

I would have hoped her Ritual to just be placing 4 reverse traps on Survivors.
It doesn't count unless you equip distressing on your build

Several month ago I finally begun to play as different killers (prior to this, I played survivor pretty exclusively). I wasn't very good at the time and I had the bright idea to go for the killer adepts. I was playing the pig on Haddonfield and as soon as the match runs up a survivor runs up to me and crouches up to signify the desire to farm BP. Being a survivor player at the time, I understood the desire to farm BP and have "mess around" matches so usually when I get this request I normally play just to mess around for BP with the intent of letting everyone escape.
Survivor #2 runs up and notices that I'm not attacking #1 and crouches up and down as well. I simply leave them alone and start tracking down the other two survivors. The thing is, I never had any intention of letting them escape (if I could help it). I was able to slowly but surely kill of the other 2. One gave up and died on hook and the other never got saved.
The two that I originally spared were working on gens the whole time and they were down to the final 2. I found them pretty quick and still kept up the charade. I took turns smacking them and then they'd heal each other. They'd even hop off the gen to allow me to damage it for BP. I kept attacking slowly allowing them to heal. Eventually, they stopped healing each other. They were both working ok the gen injured. I finally had my chance! I downed the first one and the second guy came over to heal him (probably assuming this was just for BP gain). I downed him as well. With several hooks around I was easily able to hook them one at a time, completing the match and earning the adept pig achievement. I think about this match a lot.
One point I've made in order to correct things is to play as Vecna. If anyone finds the eye or hand/arm I automatically let them escape hopefully helping them gain the achievement or trophy. Gotta balance out my bad karma with a bit of goodness 😬.

There's a lot to sift through with this one between the violation of Pig conduct codes 1.1 to 1.9.1.z and possibly some things that we at the council need to further review.

I allowed myself to get angry at an EGC. I was called trash by a fellow survivor, and my P78 was called into question. Though I did not angrily retaliate, I asked for details and got none. I had to take a break for a while after. Apparently my stealth playstyle upsets some people, and my willingness to sacrifice myself even moreso.
I hath bodyblocked a teammate accidentally, but cost them a hook nonetheless.I hath become so irritated as a catch and release killer by flashlights, that I began to third hook the survs in an especially annoying game.

Probably my favorite boss in recent Fromsoft history.
The big baddy voodoo daddy Dragonlord Placidusax. Hard to believe I actually missed this sneaky legend on my first playthough and had to go back on NG+ once I learned of its Dragon skill which I needed for all the dragon spells (which sadly was not as epic as I hoped from the fight, but still flashy ntl). As a Kaiju fan, this boss was right up my alley. Really well-done fight.

Yeah, still lots of time left. I think the sweat will settle down after the first week.

I have a friend that does this and I just tell them to let go if the killer is proxy camping the hook for save. Sometimes I feel they expect me to die for them, and sometimes I will, but if you've lived the story enough then you already know how it plays out.
I don't really think it matters ultimately, but for saving time sake it'd make sense for person on hook to die so that hatch spawns and the game ends quicker.

Well, being an event I expect maximum sweat from both sides. So far all my games have been either slugging at 5 gens, tunneling at 5 gens, teammates killing themselves on hook, and trying to sandbag or sell out our team. I'll finish my challenges on Killer and take a break.
I've just sort of stopped playing Surv for this event. I will probably play killer like @Atsuka_Anarchy is doing it and spread hooks to maximize BP profits for everyone. Could care less about winning or losing attached as I just want as much BP as possible per match.
I feel like i've become the older more mellowed, experienced killer that's been there and done it all and now i'm just living on my own terms in my golden years bringing screams and laughs to the fog. Everybody gonna be eatin if i'm in their lobby.
