    Bruh, stop it.

I'm just suggesting something it can always be changed and updated. It's an idea and an opinion. You need to chill out

I didn't see people making ######### suggestions about the Mori nerf like "hey maybe have the killer keep M1 pressed on top of the downed survivor for 30 seconds!". They outright wanted it gone. But when it comes to keys you have the baby survivors crying for a key buff. You even asked for a noise notification so the killer can watch as he gets t-bagged at the hatch.

I said 30 seconds, not 10. So that will give time for the killer to get there and defend it better

Also, why are you having an aneurysm on a suggestion post?

    • So that will give time for the killer to get there and defend it better

That gives the killer nothing. The hatch can spawn anywhere. You try getting from one corner of the map to the other as Trickster to stop someone opening the hatch. People can't even handle the 20 seconds gate if they are far away and you want just 30 seconds for a hidden magic door in the ground?

    • why are you having an aneurysm on a suggestion post?

Because it shows how ######### people here are. Throwing a party when Mori gets nerfed over and over to the point its useless but when the nerf for keys come they hope it's actually a buff and let's them open exit gates too. You have zero respect for killer players and the balance of the game.

  • Lol what's with all this "there is no counter, if they tunnel you you're dead, DEAD!". I've had people I tunneled hard for being toxic and bringing a key still escape. They just need to know how to hide and a good team.

Use stealth perks + ds, lockers are your friends, but for some reason people prefer to play ring around the roses around a pallet rather than have your scratchmarks lead to one place when you walked the other way and got inside a locker.

You can continue creating a separate thread but I guess you won't because you say "nothing you can say will change my mind" lol ,so what's your point in this discussion?

Responding to the comment, Killers have nerfs too. DS now it is a more balanced and fair advantage, now if it meets the goal of it's an anti-tunneling only perk.

Hitboxes sucks, I'm not going to deny that.

"NOED allows endgame destruction to killers who show no active skill during the match"

The same could be said of DH, it can be activated simply with a button and does not require any skills.

Devour Hope is a problem? Do more bones.

    Have a good day. ^^

    • Do more bones.

Survivors cry when people call them out on gen rushing and say "we don't have any other objective" but as soon as a perk or killer power gives them another objective, like having to do bones, or take off the pig trap, etc they start crying like crazy.

  • @mrcdean97 said:

All the killers here acting like the game is so one sided lol. It is. For the killer. Survivors get crazy nerfs all the time and the game is already set up for the killer to win. Maybe try taking responsibility for your own short comings and either play a different killer or play better perks. BHVR favors the killer community and nothing you can say will change my mind. All I have to say is DS

    • Guys us survivors are opressed because now DS disables if I start working on a gen! it's so unfair I can't make the killer grab me off a gen and get him stunned!

2021, hell, half way 2021. Keys still haven't been nerfed. Can't say the same about Moris.

When the killer has a magical item or a magic mechanic that gives him a win without having to do anything, you tell me. Right now survivors can just let their team die and escape through a magic door in the floor while t-bagging the killer.

  • Is that seriously the nerf people want for keys? Just 10 seconds pressing M1 on the hatch?

You guys are happy that Moris are completly useless right now yet you want the most OP item in game, which you can even find in chests, to just have a "press M1 for 10 seconds"? You even want it to make it MORE powerful and make it open exit gates faster?

Survivor players are so bad they can't win fair and square and need to cheat with OP items?

Keys need to be made completly useless AND NOT be found in chests. They shouldn't allow several people to escape, hell, they shouldn't even be allowed to escape if they didn't complete their objective. Just make it so keys open chests immediatly and are still useful for aura reading. Not some "we're noobs and we are stuck with a 3 gen, but I still feel entitled to winning so let's use a magic item that opens a magic door that gives us a magic win and the killer a magic ENTITY DISAPPOINTED".

    • When the hatch is open it creates a loud noise notification that the killer can see

So the killer gets t-bagged at the hatch? If it's already open, he already lost and he can't do anything about it. Why do you want the killer to have a defeat rubbed in his face that the survivors earned by doing nothing but having teammates die.

How is 99ing gates different from slugging to prevent DS, for example? You contradicted yourself in your response, clearly survivors do play around killer perks. Leaving early is a way of playing around NOED even if you don’t like it.

I can only speak for myself but when I play survivor I’m mindful not to heal in killer terror radius, not to open the gates too early, to hide my aura to avoid BBQ (unless I want to be spotted), to run and work on that gen that just went yellow, to do totems, not to tap a regressing gen when the killer just hooked someone, and so on. Playing around your opponent’s perks is part of the game for both sides.

    • How is 99ing gates different from slugging to prevent DS, for example?

Uhh because the survivor can get picked up or use unbreakable meanwhile the killer can't use perks or do anything against a 99% gate?

How do you compare a stun for the killer that can ruin his entire match and punishes him for killing to an exploit?

And no, people don't play around NOED. As I said, they don't care about NOED. The killer has to assume the survivor has all 4 meta perks, even if they don't. Not picking up someone who doesn't have DS but the killer thinks he has DS can ruin the killer's match. Meanwhile Survivors don't go around doing dull totems to prevent NOED because survivors have the luxury of not having to worry about perks the killer doesn't have.

    • Playing around your opponent’s perks is part of the game for both sides.

Right, when you have survivors not rely on windows because of fear of bamboozle like how killers can't afford to slug 2 people over fear of unbreakable, or when you have people not rely on lockers because the killer might have Iron Maiden like how you have killers have to wait before hitting someone over fear of dead hard, etc you tell me how survivors play around the killer's perks.

  • Well, played 3 games as survivor in Solo Q today, all 3 had trolls.

    1. A nancy who got mad I failed a skill check at the beginning so she started to troll, throw pallets around and when the killer noticed he was trolling and left him dying on the ground the team went to rescue her, only for her to press shift so they couldn't heal her and they all died
    2. A david who DCd when he was the first one killed and then a Nea who got hooked, unhooked by a Yui with no Borrowed time so he got mad he got unhooked without borrowed time and got us all killed when we tried to pick her up because she refused to heal (the cherry on top was her and the killer himself trash talking and telling us to kill ourselves for "unhooking her in front of the killer", I had borrowed time and I wasn't even the one who unhooked)
    3. A Laurie who brought a key and hatch offering and was planning on letting all other 3 of us die while doing nothing so she could escape with the key, I reavealed her location to the killer, which made the killer real mad (guess he likes having people escape with keys) and left me to die on the floor for the full 4 minutes and then called me a troll and started making xenophobic comments in the chat

Weird day for survivor and it honestly baffles me how people cry so much about campers and tunnelers when teammates are the real killers.

  • @xenotimebong said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2194815#Comment_2194815

Borrowed Time is just as easily countered as NOED, even more easily in fact. You don’t have to do anything except chase one of the other 3 survivors, which is what you probably should be doing anyway. It’s countered by standard killer gameplay.

If you’re not sure where to go after a hook then I can recommend BBQ or Thrilling Tremors to point you to your next chase.

It's funny how killers have to always assume survivors are running meta perks so we have to bait dead hards, not hit unhooked people, not pick up someone who was hooked within a minute and not slug.

But survivors don't have to give a ######### about killer perks. They don't do bones to counter NOED since they will just abandon whoever gets hit by it, they 99% the gate so blood warden is useless, they don't give a ######### about BBQ because by the time the killer gets to them they can finish 5 gens and run to a safe loop, etc etc.

having a lot of fun with this dude. i was having fun with plague but i got kinda bored, so i'm gonna play trapper for a little while.

so far, basically, i've found that trapping the basement is super effective. but it's getting old kinda quick, even though most times in the postgame chat has a good laugh about it. i'm wondering what i can do to up my trapper game so that i'm not just basically relying entirely on agitation and iron grasp to carry me to the basement and then trapping the everloving 💩 out of it.

i see streamers do some amazing mindgames and zoning to push survivors into traps but i feel like if i don't trap the hook a bunch then i don't snowball the way they do. this is probably entirely down to trap placement, so i guess a big question i'm asking is... what even is good trap placement?

additionally i'm very inexperienced with territorial killers. all the killers i've played so far have been plague, doctor, ghostface, very hyper aggro killers that hunt and engage a whole lot. so general advice on the mindset for territorial play would help out a bunch too. hag mains, if you're out there...

oh, if it helps. i typically play without addons. i know that's basically unheard of with trapper in particular but, like... i'm ugly 🤡🤡

Don't listen to anyone telling you to worry about defending a 3 gen. Every time survivors find themsleves in a 3 gen situation they will just find a key and leave since the develoeprs refuse to nerf an item that gives them an instant undeserved win. So just camp.

  • @BrokenSouI said:

My definition IS how you play hag properly though . Especially against good players. I'm sure hook camping hag with traps placed in a small area around it beats newbs just fine though

I get 4k on hag every match and all I do is hook someone in the basement and trap all around either the shack or main building. People love going for the rescue and you can hit them once before they go down the basement stairs and then again.

Camping hags are OP. Not as good as Trapper though.

  • @BrokenSouI said:

I mean that's a bad hag player lol. If they're not leaving the hook and placing 6 traps close to it. But they have the general idea. A good hag sets up a web of traps around an area..Usually the strongest 3 gen. And as soon as you go down in the web..It's basically impossible to get the rescue and your team will get slugged

I can assure you the camping hag with 6 traps next to the hook wins more times than whatever definition of good hag you have.

You clearly didn't read what I said. I said they look more visually interesting. And wanna know something shocking? I can say they're more interesting! Wanna know why?

    Opinions!

    Are!

    Subjective!

God, people like you make me hate the internet sometimes. I personally do not like Lady Dimitrescu. I personally find her very boring. I PERSONALLY would rather either Nemesis or Mr. X because I think they have more visually neat looks.

These are all a matter of MY OPINION.

    1. You didn't state it like an opinion, you stated it like a fact. You didn't say "I think she's boring" or "I don't like her". You outright made the claim that she's boring.
    2. Stop taking everything like a personal attack, me telling you she's not boring doesn't mean you have to make a rant attacikng me with some pathetic "people like you make me hate the internet", I don't care if you have a ######### life and anger issues, don't take it out on me.
  • @NomiNomad said:

As a non Resident Evil fan who has really only watched people play RE7 and RE8.

Lady D is so, so boring. There's nothing special about her. She's tall. She's hot (debatable). She has claws. Her personality is incredibly generic. Cool? I don't know anything about the older Resi Evil games, but I sincerely hope they choose Mr. X or Nemesis because they at least look more visually interesting. Keep in mind, this is all subjective. If you like Lady Dimtestricu, more power to you. Opinions are opinions. I personally thought she was a huge disappointment from all the hype, and continues to be.

I also sincerely doubt it will be Lady D. The 'teaser' when Resi Evil announced it on their livestream had a male survivor (Felix, in specific) and a bunch of generic zombie sounds, and an Umbrella charm. Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I've seen Lady D has little to nothing to do with generic zombies or Umbrella.

Sounds like you really want Lady D, and that's fine. But there is little to no evidence other than hearsay to say it will be Lady D.

You can't seriously say Mr X and Nemesis are more interesting than an actual being. They are just mindless mute bioweapons. All they have going is being ugly and defeated by a rookie cop or a woman. At least Dimitrescu has a backstory, motivations, an actual character design that is not "Bald tall man in trash bag"

  • Because survivors love hiding so they can let their teammates die and escape through the hatch and the doctor completly ruins their plan.

  • @BlueFang said:

You wrote a whole wall of text around the whole "Skill =/ Luck"

Yes. and if "danced" around the issue you too also danced around mine even going back around to "ha, survivor bad because one guy said this" all the while making the same dumb comparisons they do. Ultimately you just end up spinning in the mud with the same "Yeah, I'm cursed with burdens while they dance around and frolic nothing has ever changed for the game"

The goal of survivors is to get to the end-game and that's why the perk selection matters. Hexs are hard to equivalent to survivor perks because they are rather unique

If a survivor didn't get to use Haste or Adrenaline, he sucked.

Here you again show-off the bias you have against survivors by saying the other guy sucked if he didn't make it. I get the comparison you are trying to make, but you keep selectively choosing examples and words to make your argument seem more credible and solid. Implying the other guy had to suck because he didn't make it removes all the minute that goes on in a match and whether intentional or not feeds into the "Killers are always the under-dogs that only win because survivors were bad" (This community has way too much of an inferiority complex)

The only way Hex Perks can avoid being instantly removed from the game is if their effects are weakened severely through a rework. All the QOL changes I've suggested are just that, QOL improvements because you can never entirely remove the risk no matter how much you try and mitigate them. You could make it so that totems have better spawns, don't show as lit until a timer has past, (Survs will just cleanse them anyway) or whatever but there's always going to be the time it gets instantly removed, that's just the law of probabilities in action. If you use a perk that has a physical place on the map you have to accept its going to be found and destroyed eventually. Its why killers that have the ability to trap, travel long distances or exert control have good synergy with these perks. QOL changes are the only thing Hex-Perks need imo, because anything else would result in them being gutted or opening a whole can of worms in changing a mechanic that can be better helped with just QOL changes since at its core Hex perks are solid

if the effects Hex perks have weren't good or strong enough to justify their gamble to so many killer player, nobody would use them. The fact we are arguing about them now is proof of their efficacy

    • "Killers are always the under-dogs that only win because survivors were bad"

It's the truth though. And it's an awful thing. A killer should have fun and be good on its own, we shouldn't depend on the survivor's mistakes. Oh 3 survivors came for the rescue when I'm an insidious basement camper Bubba guess that means I won the game because of my skill and not because the survivors are bad.

There are very few situation in which a Huntress' hatch hitting you is because she's good and not because you were bad and couldn't dodge it, specially because of how the map is tailored to have survivors survive.

Tell me how a 4 man SWF with balanced landing in haddonfield can lose without making mistakes? Exploiting the roof + windows makes it impossible for the survivors to get caught.

What kind of game has one side ONLY be able to win because the other one was bad?

    • The only way Hex Perks can avoid being instantly removed from the game is if their effects are weakened severely through a rework.

Or, you know, they could let the killer defend it? Have it spawn next to the killer instead of next to a survivor so when the first thing I do is go check on it when the match begins and on my way it gets destroyed.

Survivors should LOOK for the hex, not have it spawn next to a gen. I can assure you most of the time an hex is destroyed is because the survivor accidentaly stumbled upon it and not because they looked for it. That shouldn't be a thing.

"Wahh I can't help but gen rush! i don't have any other objectives!" but when a killer suggest survivors be given another objective they immediatly get defensive and tell the killer losing the hex was his fault for picking it. I wish they had that ######### mentality when they get caught and facecamped by Bubba and said "if you didn't wanna get camped, don't get caught" like how they go "if you didn't want your hex destroyed, don't pick an hex perk".

I'm talking about when survivors are not toxic, I never t-bag in front of the killer and I refuse to use flashlights and keys unless I find them in a chest.

I can't help it if gens get done fast, that's my objective, nothing else for me to do.

Well what should the killer be doing? If he managed to catch just you and 3 gens popped immediatly, should he just go into a corner and cry? should he become a super pro and tryhard despite 60% of the match already being gone and in 80 more seconds the two final gens can pop?

You're taking him hitting you as a personal attack when it can be just the killer killing time, or being stressed because of the match so he just presses M1 while facecamping you. I've had people tell me t-bagging is not toxic and "they are just pressing ctrl!!!!". Well, the killer is just pressing M1.

If it happens to you so often then you're either toxic or extremely good at looping to the point him not being able to caught you the whole game made him lose the match or whatever. Did you ever ask the killer who hit you on hook why he did it?

Maybe you're just not as good as killer as you think if you typically lose most gens before your first hook?

I didn't say I'm a good killer, I play this game for fun, unlike you I have a life that I don't spend "getting gud" at videogames or posting 4000 times on a forum. And I can tell you I don't have fun having 80% of the match be over in the first minute because I didn't feel like tryharding and getting 4 kills in 20 seconds.

  • @ProfoundEnding said:

Just curious because this happens to me a lot.

Why do survivors t-bag and click their flashlight? If the survivor wasn't toxic then they are probably doing it just to annoy and mock.

Then again, depends on what people consider toxic. If I get my first hook and I hear 3 gens pop. I'm sure as hell gonna camp and start hitting the guy on hook out of spite. You just did 60% of the game, 2 more gens and I'm out of the game with an Entity Displeased, a derank, barely any Bloodpoints and getting t-bagged at the gate.

Same as how lots of survivors justify themselves when they t-bag because "wahh the killer was mean he camped/tunneled/whatever" then I'm gonna do the "equivalent" (hitting the hooked survivor will never be the same as t-bagging, specially not culturally) and hit on hook when they gen rush, or constantly body block me and follow me around sabotaging hooks and trying to blind me, etc.

Why are you talking about keys? That has nothing to do with this topic

Because people can't talk about how killers are strong in late game while there is an item that completly negates the end game and nobody cares about it, and instead are desperate to throw money at whatever new unbalanced chapter BHVR will throw at them next.

If people are gonna acknolwedge the state of the game then they need to do it as a whole.

  • @Grandpa_Crack_Pipe said:

The beginning of the match is when the killer is at their weakest.

The end of the match is when the killer is at their strongest.

RNG exacerbates this, but that's how it always is.

Funny how people are so confident and sure about this statement but don't find any problem with keys, which completly negate said "end of the match when the killer is at their strongest".

    • How is this fair?

It's not, and it's why survivors love it, it's the only way they can win. In their head there is no issue with being able to do 80% of the game in 80 seconds.

I just give up and start camping, it happens in every match. Even as Legion I can manage to injure everyone as soon as the game begins, have Hex:ruin screw their progress and they will still have 2/3 gens pop by the time I get my first hook. Even if it took me just 20 seconds to down someone.

But shhh, "there is no gen rush we're just doing our objective! so what if all 4 of us spawned on a different gen on the other side of the map and by the time you found your first survivor 3 gens popped! ApPLy PrEsSUrE".

  • @Firellius said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2190503#Comment_2190503

I can understand keys being considered a problem, but if you have an issue with the hatch itself, you should not be playing DBD, it's not good for you.

Eh, I think people who are not able to win fair and square and need a mechanic that rewards them because of luck instead of skill are the ones who shouldn't be playing DbD, or any game for the matter.

  • There is no game breaking bug right now like how last month Breakdown would destroy hooks forever and all chests would give survivors a free win since they gave skeleton keys 24/7. So it's not in a "bad state".

It's still not balanced though since they care more about the money the RE chapter will bring than about nerfing stuff they promised would nerf, like keys.

  • @BlueFang said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2190738#Comment_2190738

Yes, yes I did. Because while the perk strengths are different they do rely upon similar conditions. No matter how you may want it there's no way Hex: Ruin can become a permanent perk without said perk being utterly gutted, or ruining any form of perk variety for Killers and making the game obnoxious for survivors. It has to have the ability to be destroyed for it to stay as it is, and yeah both Killers and Survivors get bad RNG sometimes killers get hit with god tier loop placements that allow the survivors to have a great deal of leniency and other times killers get lucky and survivors have to deal with dead-zones, survs can get nothing from all the chests in four different lobbies, but in the next round get an ultra rare item on the first chest

That is the thing you have to accept when you play this game, because the maps change, the tiles change, generator, killer, and survivor spawn placements change, its all stuff that both sides have to deal with and what both sides benefit and suffer from. Yeah it sucks when a Hex gets destroyed, I know I've used Devour with grounds and watched devour go bloop while haunted grounds remained entirely untouched for the whole game, oftentimes its just out of our control. Now could the spawn placements be improved, of course. Survs shouldn't spawn right next to them nor should hexes spawn out in the open on a mountain. Changes such as that would be all fair and dandy to me

And as for you, you once again show the bias you have in this argument. You complain about Survs being "entitled, short-sighted, relying on luck" but then go on and say survs are so terrible "They can only win through luck" any arguments you have even those founded and valid are diminished when you come at it from the wrong stance. When that happens all you become is a knee-jerk reactionary, because the way you see problems is essential to creating a lasting solution, (I.e finding the root of it and accounting for the ripples caused by the change). For an (exaggerated) example, if you think the Earth is not flat you would be correct, but if you believe the world is a square you are wrong even though you were right about the one thing.

You wrote a whole wall of text to dance around the whole "Skill =/ Luck" and insists if a survivor gets to the endgame it's because of "loop placement" and that somehow is equal to a survivor spawning right next to an hex?

If a survivor gets to the end game, they were good or the killer was bad. It wasn't because of luck, it was because of the actual skill of the players. You don't complete generators because of luck and you don't say alive because of luck. You need to know how to loop, hide, etc. And boom, Adrenaline is on. They put work on staying alive and were rewarded for it.

The killer meanwhile puts a perk on and, with no way for him to stop the survivors, it gets destroyed in the very first 12 seconds of the match.

If a survivor didn't get to use Haste or Adrenaline, he sucked.

If a killer didn't get to use Hex Ruin, his "luck" sucked.

There is a huge difference between those two and any game that has one side win because of luck is a bad game, and bad games should be fixed. But again, survivors don't want it to be fixed. They don't wanna spend effort searching for the hex, it's better to just spawn right next to it. Hence why so many people cry about NOED and just leave whoever got caught behind instead of looking for the totem.

It's hilarious how when it comes to hexes, survivors immediatly drop the "git gud" they say whenever a killer talks about any other issue, and instead they say "deal with it and let me win".

  • @BlueFang said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2190472#Comment_2190472

Its the gamble you take with a perk that relys on RNG or endgame. If a survivor takes two perks for the end-game they are gambling that they will make it to the end-game and that it will provide enough of a boost to secure the escape. They may end up getting into chases constantly meaning their two other perks meant to help repair become a deficit potentially leaving them with no perks for the situation. Its the same with Killers for every successful Ruin game there's another game where its a complete failure. If you don't want to deal with RNG don't use the perk you'll have better and more consistent games.

Did you seriously compare perks that completly rely on your skill, since it's up to YOU to make it to the endgame, to perks which can be disabled for the entire match in the very first 16 seconds because a survivor spawned right next to it?

Skill and luck are very different things. But looking at survivor players i'm not surprised the only way they have of winning is getting lucky, seems getting good is too much to ask

Firstly, you are needlessly aggressive towards people who disagree with you. Seems to be a trend recently.

    Secondly, your list:

    • Ruin is not even close to the only way to slow the game down. PGTW, Corrupt and Surge can all do the job just fine.
    • Undying's aura reveal is useful, but not extremely good. So, I agree.
    • NOED is definitely good. Instant downs until the totem is broken in the EndGame? Pretty good.
    • Haunted Grounds is 60 seconds of instant downs AND it can protect your other totems, depending on RNG.
    • Huntress Lullaby can absolutely screw with players, and it can force them to play more attention to the gens, ignoring their surroundings.

I removed half the list because those perks did not directly relate to game slowdown. The only Hex perks that are actually bad are Third Seal and Blood Favor.

Just because you have trouble winning games and using perks effectively doesn't mean they are bad :)

    • Firstly, you are needlessly aggressive towards people who disagree with you.
    • Just because you have trouble winning games and using perks effectively doesn't mean they are bad :)

Ah, a survivor main who also loves projecting. How... common.

Ruin is incredibly powerful, why else would you take it :)

Undying is good because other Hex perks are good.

    Devour is good.

    NOED is good.

    Haunted Grounds is good.

    Huntress Lullaby is good.

    • Ruin is incredibly powerful, why else would you take it :)

Literally the only way to slow down the game. I take it because the game is not balanced :).

    • Undying

The aura reveal is pretty meh, the only reason people take it it's because hex spawns are trash.

    • Devour is good.

Only one that's good. And it still gets destroyed immediatly.

    • NOED is good.

    It's trash.

    • Haunted Grounds is good.

It's super trash and there are way better perks that are with you the whole game and not for just 60 seconds WHEN someone decides to destroy it, see Superstar.

    • Huntress Lullaby is good.

    Lol, no.

Love how you had to cut your list by half though because you know all the other ones, like the one that causes blindess or reveals people for 10 seconds when they feel like destroying it are trash.

    60 seconds of Exposed.

    200% gen regression.

    Instant downs and instant mori's.

    Blocking pallets.

    Blocking windows.

    Totem touching info.

    Instant downs and speed boost.

    Aura blindness.

Post-totem cleanse aura reading on everyone

Difficult skill checks and increased penalty

Keeping one of the aforementioned perks alive.

    Those effects.

The only strong one there is Devour Hope, which requires you to hook people and run away from the hook as fast as possible. None of the other ones are "powerful effects". Not that i'm surprised survivor mains finds Hex Ruin such a powerful perk, after all, it ruins their gen repair simulator gameplay.

Hex perks offer extremely powerful effects at the cost of them being temporary.

You know the risk, yet you took it anyway

What powerful effect? Not having the game end in 2 minutes?

  • It's even funnier when BOTH ruin and undying get cleansed and at the same time. Funny how they keep adding perks to help survivors find totems.

    • I-if you don't want 4 gens to pop at once when the game starts use perks to slow down the game!!!!!
    • Oh, oopsie didoopsie haha you picked ruin, you picked an RNG perk so enjoy playing with 3 perks now, not my problem!!

I just proceed to camp and tunnel when they break my hex, Haunted Grounds shouldn't even be a thing, every survivor who destroys an hex perk should become immediatly exposed for the next 60 seconds. Survivors get perks that stun the killer, ruin his plays and save them from mistakes but killers can't even have a match with 4 perks.

  • I main killer and survivors keep jumpscaring me all the time.

  • That Krampus design wa such a waste, it should have been a kller on its own, not a trapper skin. It doesn't even change the model of the traps.

  • Except every single time they 3 gen themselves they just find a key and leave as a team through the hatch after t-bagging the killer.

There is no counter to gen rush, the fact that the average killer gets his first hook by the time at least 1 gen pops is disgusting, but of course survivors cry about camping and tunneling when they don't even look at why killers do that.

Just had a match as Legion, Hex Ruin + Undying so I constantly traveled all over the map driving everyone off gens and got 1 hook in the first minute. Despite doing that 2 gens popped at the same time. "ApPLy PrEsSuRe" it's such a joke, I had a Dwight literally finish a gen taking more than 10 seconds WHILE HE HAD DEEP WOUNDS on and he still didn't die from it.

Gen Rush doesn't hurt survivors because the game has a magic door on the floor that gives them a free win, and even if they don't need it, for some reason survivors take pleasure in ending a match in 2 minutes and making the killer derank (which makes all the threads about survivors crying they derank because they got camped a lot funnier and sweeter)

  • I do know it, it's 2021 and they are still sending death threats to the RE7 Chris face actor but don't you dare criticize RE3Make new hideous Jill face or you'll get stonned. But this is not RE, people will still buy the DLC because it says RE in the title. Even the people who will cry will spend money on it.

Standing on hatch for several minutes clearly indicates the 4k mentality.

I couldn't care less if someone escaped via a key as I play the G-A-M-E for F-U-N and not to boost my virtual ego.

Who cares if someone escapes via the hatch?

Just play the next match and stop acting like you had to stand on the hatch for several minutes because anything less than a 4k shortens your lifespan.

Not all of us are used to losing like you to the point we take pleasure on it. If you enjoy losing and getting t-bagged at the hatch then, suit yourself. As you said, "whatever floats your boat".

    This sucks for BHVR.

The decision's pretty much out of their hands, but people are still gonna be assmad at them and them specifically if it's RE7/8 or the classic games.

Who's gonna be mad at them? People don't even know who the killer and survivor are and they are already begging for the chapter to be expensive like Stranger things so they get to waste more money.

The DLC will sell fine and people are easy to please.

  • There are lots of perks that are several perks in one but in a weaker version. BBQ requires you to hook someone AND for them to be far away from the hook. Deerstalker is on 24/7, and yes, it's an awful extremely weak perk.

I'll take someone who "copes" by finding something to be happy about even when they lose over someone that can only feel accomplished and content if they win. Not saying people aren't allowed to be happy about winning, but thinking a lost (or even draw) match is all bad is how you get people that can win 20 games in a row and then start seething when they get a single loss.

Or you know, people could just accept they lost. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

It's ok to lose. It's not ok to pretend you won when you didn't win.

  • @ALostPuppy said:

Why are you this perplexed over people being happy about their own personal victories? Or are you here to bestow another "survivor bad" post on us as if we don't seen enough of these posts everyday?

Show me a single "survivor bad" thread besides this one because all I see every day is survivor mains crying about campers, tunnelers, sluggers and Spirit.

    • If you die to her, it's because the player tried and played it well.

Are you seriously saying Spirit and Nurse don't take skill? Because I outright just don't play Nurse anymore because she's extremely difficult and every single match as her I just get t-bagged after missing a blink and being told to kill myself in the chat for being bad

  • @GannTM said:

They did nerf keys this last mid chapter. They’re still extremely annoying but they’re going to do more work on keys some time in the near future.

All they did was make the key that left the hatch open for 30 seconds make it so now it opens for 10.

Not a single match ever had that be relevant. People group up so they can all t-bag and escape together.

    @Yamaoka said:

So you think you deserved the 4k even though you don't even know the basics of the game (i.e. you're losing collision when hitting a survivor) ?

What I deserved was a fair match not some magical item that opens a magic door tha gives the survivor an insta win with no way to stop them.
