I can't wait until these changes makes it to the PTB then live! I feel like trapper will be in the upper-mid tier and the hag will be in the mid tier, CAN'T WAIT!

This is supposed to make you laugh

@OxyReap Okay, now I understand where your coming fromOxyReap said:@Nickenzie Not trying to say anything, just taking average players opinions.
Billy and Huntress are kinda okay to the average player, they can destroy survivors but overall they are okay to the AVERAGE player. Nurse, oh Nurse... She'll feel weak to the average player not because she's weak, it's because the average player won't usually have enough practice with her.
I used to be great with Huntress but I quit playing her due to my FPS drop when I try to throw a hatchet. I'm starting to pick up Nurse but I still have long ways to go before I become a good Nurse, I mean long ways. -
@OxyReap I don't understand what your trying to say. I'll just say this, Huntress, Billy, and especially Nurse are powerful should be what the developers look at when they want to make a strong killer.OxyReap said:We all know all other killers are underpowered. But for you, this 3 killers are balanced and fair or underpowered like the others ? -
@Kamikaze_Rose Okay, thank you for being so kind about it all because I know legacy is a difficult topic, thanks for hearing me outKamikaze_Rose said:I'm all for certain cosmetics, just not legacy. Only problem is, the licensed characters will likely never get them, so it's kind of pointless.

Freddy:
Survivors can't see each other if one survivor is in a different world. (Awake survivors can't see sleeping survivors and vice versa)
Remove Freddy's aura reading ability if a survivor is outside his terror radius and tremendously decrease the action penalty for survivors in his dream realm. (Basically survivors suffer a 10% action penalty when in the dream realm instead of 50%)
Survivors can't progress any actions when in the sleep transition. (This includes, opening the exit gates, repairing generators, healing, unhooking, and etc. Survivors can still use pallets, vaults, and lockers)
Skill checks no longer wake up survivors.
Done, Freddy is viable now

Okay, I understand your point and where your coming from. You don't want other players to have legacy because then it would mean nothing to have legacy. Okay so I have an idea, would you at least be cool with legacy being a reward for completing your bloodweb after 300/600/900 times after P3 lvl 50 for each piece? It's not going to make legacy any easier to get, in fact it would be harder to obtain it because your practically doing double than what you had to do before the bloodweb patch to get legacy. This will still make legacy very very hard to obtain and will still be something you can show off, kinda like bloody clothes when you prestige. Even if everyone obtained legacy this way, it would still be quite an accomplishment to show how much you spent on your killer/survivor. Please, @Kamikaze_Rose just think about it. Is there anyway that you would add legacy back in while being a big, and I mean BIG accomplishment to show off?Kamikaze_Rose said:No, I don't want console to have legacy. It's not needed. Legacy was for players who had to deal with a massive bloodweb, but since the bloodweb has been nerfed, there's no need for legacy. What would be the point of them bringing it back? Then the PC players who don't have legacy will complain because technically, like console players, they never got a chance to obtain the legacy, either. Too many legacies and the clothes themselves will be meaningless. It's not fair to those who went through the more difficult bloodweb.

Survivors are saying that killer's always complain about everything a survivors have. However we do complain a lot because it's not just one thing that makes a survivor OP, it's multiple things! For example, let's demonstrate with a survivor with 1000+ hours with DS, SB, Adrenaline, and SC. First that survivor SB away when you find that survivor, then looped you for around 3 minutes, then DS, then another 3 minutes of loop town, then Adrenaline, then that survivor leaves. If you leave that survivor then that survivor will SC which if you ever decide to chase that survivor later, that survivor is now fully healed. That was an demonstration if you was going against 1 survivor with +1000 hours and with those perks. Notice how there's multiple things that made that 1 survivor OP?
1.) Pallets
2.) EASY "Get out of jail cards"
-DS
-SB
-SC (Sometimes)
3.) One survivor has too much power. Don't get me started on how much power 4 survivors have.
New mechanic for healing:
Any progress you made to you healing one health state will be regressed by 3% every second.
I'm not talking about DS because no one listens to my suggestion about that.
Sprint Burst needs a 3 second running animation to activate.
Developers are taking a great step in the right direction for pallets.

They said dedicated servers would take too long to implement to the game. If they did implement dedicated servers, they said they could have had 1 to 2 chapters already out.Acnologia said:Or they just do dedicated servers lol . But yea the idea of kicking is not bad but they could also do some setting (that u can turn off) where u get as a killer only survivors with yellow ping or below.

If someone pauses the game and leaves the game from there, that would be 1 strike. 10 strikes will result in getting suspended from DbD for 30 minutes. Your strikes will reset every week back to 0 strikes. If you randomly DC without pausing the game and leaving, you'll get a half of a strike.ACEvHEARTS said:But on console, accidental disconnects are super frequent. So how could you distinguish intentional DCs from non?
Intentionally DC'ing: Leave purposely 10 times within a week for a 30 minute suspension.
Accidentally DC'ing: Leave accidentally 20 times within a week for a 30 minute suspension.
When you are 1 strike or less away from getting a 30 minute suspension, you'll be warned when you select "Play as survivor", "SWF", and "Play as killer".
Demonstration:
If you want to play survivor and you already have 9 strikes, when you select "Play as survivor", you'll get this message.
Message:
Are you sure?
-Yes- -No-
Currently you've 9 strikes for disconnecting, reaching 10 or more strikes will result in a 30 minute suspension. (Survivor Only) It's important as a player that you support your teammates by participating in the trial without leaving.
-
@naim109 I don't think that would be a good idea in my opinion because it feels rather cheap to take perks away from players. I do think if you leave, let's say around 5 times within a week. You'll be suspended from Dead by Daylight for 30 minutes every time you leave after 5.naim109 said:Iv seen the problem both sides, when I mention penalty they always "lol",
I think a de-rank that removes perks at random will do something to curb this at least1 (5 or more within a week) - 1 perk tier set back i,e DS lvl 3 becomes DS lvl 2
2 (10 or more within a week) - 2 perk tier set back i,e DS lvl 3 becomes DS lvl 1
3 (15 or more within a week) - perk removed until unlocked again -
@Kamikaze_Rose Okay, I really don't understand where your coming from. Are you against console having a opportunity at getting legacy or are you not in favor of that? If you are not then give me your reasoning why you think that.Kamikaze_Rose said:Clearly that's different. You actually had legacy before, so of course you deserve to have it returned to you. My problem is with people whining to get legacy when they joined the game AFTER it already came out. They lost out, period.

@ThePloopz My thinking process was that if repairing generators was more fun then players wouldn't mind repairing the generator longer durations. I specifically targeted skill checks because skill checks are just boring... they're repetitive and stale in general. I want a variety of skill skills because when I play survivor, it's like I'm playing Dead by Generator. That's why I love going against the pig because you have something else to do when you have a RBT on you. Same for the Doctor (Sometimes) because when your in madness 3, you have something else to do. I just want our objectives to be extremely fun while slowing down the game for the killer. I don't want generators to take longer without something to make them fun to repair is my goal and this community's goal. The last thing I want to happen to generators is for them to take longer while still being boring.ThePloopz said:I’m of the option there should just be a second objective because I just don’t see a way doing a gen can be made fun. I don’t think anyone wants to do the 80+ gen time we have now. I just personally don’t think adding more time and more buttons to press while doing the same task will make it better -
You should never DC, even if your heated or if your just unlucky. If anything you should've played through the entire game then take a break from the game.
Note: Guys I know he DC'd but try to also give him some life advice to help him out with future frustrating games. -
@GT_Legend2
Hello! I'm both a survivor/killer main and I agree with everything you've stated about Decisive Strike. The perk offers outstanding value for just being a perk and it's just in general, would be considered a OP perk.
I have a rework idea for the perk Decisive Strike and I want to your thoughts.
Decisive Strike:
Once per trial, when in the killer's grasp and you've at least wiggled to a total of 200/185/160% during the trial. Succeed a skill check to automatically fill the rest of the wiggle meter. Increases your chances of becoming the killer's obsession.
Of course the numbers can always be changed but what my rework specifically targets the obsession. The obsession won't get a instant "Get our of jail card" and other survivors that use Decisive Strike won't have a disadvantage when they're not the killer's obsession. However it's much harder to use Decisive Strike and sometimes survivors won't be able to use it if your always close to a hook.
-
@Hexyl I wouldn't mind having distressing on my nurse because the nurse makes up for the side effects of distressing. Can also be useful on wrath, Myers, hag, and pig since the negative side of the perk can be nullified by these killer's.Hexyl said:Im just curious because i just recently started using it on billy just to mess around and get more points before the clown comes out and i have to say i actually like it.
Also the reason i put except for doc is because i know its pretty decent on doc im just curious about other killers like billy trapper etc
-
Developers have stated this before to not attempt this but I'm guessing you wasn't there when they've mentioned that. If I was you since this is a technical problem, I'd probably go-to support.deadbydaylight.com and get some help on getting you a refund, hopefully!Voot_Lejin said:Anyone know if there is an Auric Cell Refund or some thing?
Got a bit excited and bought the new Killer with cells before realizing that it wasn't the entire DLC.

@Kamikaze_Rose Your misunderstanding my statement, I just want a way to obtain it while being as difficult as before. Yes, we DID miss our time to get it, I'll let you have that one but that wasn't our fault at all! @Kamikaze_Rose This is where you'll need to hear me out because again...Kamikaze_Rose said:Ya'll PLEASE give up Legacy negotiations. It's not going to happen. Those who have it deserve it because of the insanely hard blood web they had to grind through. Making different color legacy and alternative ways to get it just waters down legacy in general. Personally, I don't want every other player running around with legacy, because then it means nothing. Complaining about not getting legacy is like complaining about not getting Black Friday deals -- you weren't in the right place at the right time and someone else was. Plain and simple.
Now @Kamikaze_Rose , if everyone had an equal opportunity to obtain a legacy skin, there would be no problem! Absolutely nothing! However this wasn't the case, I can guarantee you that if everyone had a chance to get a legacy skin, then you wouldn't be seeing people complaining! Look at it in this perspective, let's use a real world example to demonstrate, let's say your about 5 years of age and your not old enough to get on a ride. However everyone else did go on that ride but the moment you've gotten old enough to get on that ride... they close it down PERMANENTLY. Now I'll ask again, was that fair thatNickenzie said:However since I play console, I had no chance of obtaining a legacy skin and in my opinion, I think it's unfair that newer players or people who used different platforms didn't have a chance to reach P3, lvl 50 before the patch.
I'll let you think twice about that question ::chuffed:Kamikaze_Rose said:you weren't in the right place at the right time and someone else was?

@CaretakerCaretaker said:The patch where nothing changed. I'm so glad the game is now finally balanced. Oh boy, the vacuum is gone! Glad I still have 20+ pallets to munch through as they Sprint Burst away multiple times. Good thing I have Bamboozle to stop this loop...and they sprinted to another jungle gym. Hmm.
Hello!
The developers have mentioned their being a balanced changes in the mid-patch update!
I'll give you some things they've said so far
Note that these are being tested and can always change!
Freddy:
-Dream transition reduced to 4 seconds (was 7).
-Selfcare doesn't cause survivors to wake up during a failed skill check.
-Dream world effects will be decreased for both sides (and I'm assuming the slowness and aura revealing).
Trapper:
-Traps auto-regenerate when sabotaged.
-Starts with 2 traps in hand.
-More add-ons to make sabotaging traps harder.
-Aimation of placing a trap will be faster.
General:
-Killer's power will be less reliant on their add-ons (Example: Nurse blink doesn't need anything to make her power reliable).
-Killer's power will be faster in general.
Hopefully this will make you more happy and make you look forward to the balance mid-patch!
If you want to see my source, go-to "Q&A sessions" and then check out the "June 4" Red dot Q&A session!
Have a great time in the fog! -
Better than nothing, I'd at least have a 4% chance to get a legacy skin. I play DbD on console so everyone who plays DbD on console had no chance to earn it, which is unfair, I'm not saying people who already earn it didn't deserve it. I just want SOME way to obtain it with it being as difficult as the way before the patch.Mister_xD said:what about this: when a player got 1 million points, he/she can then spend these points for one lottery ticket. the ticket has a 4% chance to give you a legacy skind (a random one). if you get a legacy you already own, you get 500.000 BP instead.
This way it would still be super rare and you would actually be able to get it. its like a high risk, high reward, cause if you failed, you'll loose 1 million BP, but if you won, you've earned a legacy
Thank you for the suggestion @Mister_xD -
@Runiver Okay I'm going to do a magic trick and it involves teleporting! I'm going to teleport to the other side of this pallet with the power of magic!Runiver said:The update is the 12th.
And yes, it doesn't include the hatch, but it includes some loop reworks, as well as the vacuum removal.Once you play without the vacuum, and get it back on live, you wonder how this ######### has been here for so long without getting checked or nerfed.

Decisive Strike:
Once per trial, when in the killer's grasp, wiggle to 200/175/150% total during the trial then succeed a skill to fill the rest of the wiggle meter.
This would be a huge nerf but your talking about a perk that gives the survivor huge value. Thoughts? -
Overall survivors shouldn't complain when a killer is camping for multiple reasons, especially when they're SWF:
Killer Feels Threaten:
-He knows a survivor is nearby waiting for the unhook (AKA: BBQ doesn't reveal any survivors or the killer has seen a survivor in the general area of where the survivor is hooked at).
Generator Rush Penalty:
-Exit gates are powered on within the first 5 minutes, so the killer camps to secure a kill/pip rather than letting that survivor get unhooked and escape.
BM (Bad Manners):
-Tea-bagging or any form of insult that offends the killer will make you more likely to be camped.
Inexperienced/New to DbD:
-Killer doesn't know that camping is usually ineffective but at lower ranks, camping works due survivors being inexperienced so the killer will continue to do this until he starts to get punished by higher ranked survivors. -
I always wondered why didn't already implemented this into the perk when it was released.Brady said:Similar to when Make your Choice activates, it should show the red-cooldown on the perk to indicate how much time you have until the survivors can then go through the exit gates after hooking someone. This would allow killers to know exactly when the 60s is up.

@Okuu46 This new idea would definitely be interesting and I would be very excited if the DbD team chooses to make this a killer in the game. Way to go @Okuu46Okuu46 said:Although i don't think of much for new killers or licensed killers ideas; in general, but i think it would be interesting if we got a killer/licensed killer, that was similar to like Sadako (The ring)
Sadako's normal base attack could be her hair, which acts like some sort of whip; her power could be; During the beginning of the match, Random television sets are placed around the map, they are hidden from survivors; if a survivor gets near one of the sets, the television will turn on, turning from black to white, when this happens, Sadako will get a warning that a survivor is within range of that specific television set; she then can manipulate that set, as long as she is in range; allowing her too make two choices; she could either teleport towards that television set or she can place some sort of hair trap on it, which will shoot out of the tv and keeps the survivor in place, until she gets them or they break free from it by struggling; when a television set has been used, that set will be destroyed; survivors can also sometimes sabotage the sets and a new set will appear on the map every 10 seconds if its destroyed either way; this will keep the duration of the match interesting and that way her ability wouldn't feel totally useless.
Kayako (The Grudge)
Unlike sadako, Kayako on the other hand; wouldn't be standing upright like her; she would be crawling on all fours, making her attack some sort of jump forward motion, kinda like a frog. Kayakos power will allow her to clone herself as one of the survivor's, reducing her terror radius completely and acting like all the other survivors during the match, when she attacks a nearby survivor, she instantaneously becomes distorted, causing the survivors to trip and fall; stunning any survivor within her radius for 2 seconds, addons can also increase this time; however if she is spotted by one of her clones, that survivor will be put into a sort of panic state, making them unable to vault, pull down pallets, heal and do gens for 5 seconds, addons can increase this amount of time as well.
What do you guys think?
+1 -
I'll list my top 3 fun killer's to play as

1.) Nurse- Because her blinks are fun and you can do some sexy stuff with her like blink grab a survivor from a hook safe.
2.) Pig- It's really funny seeing survivors panic to remove the RBT and basically getting a free sacrifice by doing absolutely nothing.
3.) Leather Face- Once you get a survivor in the basement, it's basically gonna be a fun game and quite relaxing game when you down 1-3 survivors going for a hook save lol. -
Here's my favorite ones for both sides:
Survivor: *Gets a 4k as nurse* "Smells like you have cancer." And I replied "Salty by Daylight"
Killer: "I'm reporting you for exploiting" <-- I was in a spot where he didn't know how to get to me but any killer can reach that spot, he just didn't know how to get to me which made him think that I was exploiting. Don't worry we talked it out and we're all cool now

Basically I walked on the edges of the ramp and stood on the hay bail I circled, like I said, any killer can reach me so it isn't a cheating/exploiting. He just didn't know how to reach me. -
@The_Manlet Hopefully Freddy will get something because currently he's just a joke and a laughing stock to high ranked survivors. I just have one question, do you think my rework would make him slightly better?

Okay, I would like to rework our low tier killer and would like some feedback on my suggestion.
Freddy's Power: Dream Demon
Awake Survivors:
-Survivor's cannot see Freddy.
-A lullaby is played when a survivor is in 32m of Freddy.
-Survivor's cannot see pallets.
-Survivors cannot see other survivors that are in the dream realm, but can see where the sleeping survivor has fallen asleep at if you are not in the dream realm.
-Survivors can see auras of where the sleeping survivor has fallen asleep at in the real world.
Sleeping Translation:
-Survivor's will have 7 seconds before entering the dream realm.
-During the sleeping transition, survivors will randomly see glimpses of Freddy.
-Survivors can now see pallets.
-Survivors cannot start or continue channelled actions (I.E Repairing generators, unhooking, opening the exit gates, seaching chest, and etc. Survivors can still interact with pallets, windows, and lockers during the transition)
-Survivors can no longer see auras of where the sleeping survivor has fallen asleep at in the real world.
-You can no longer see awake survivors.
Once in the dream realm:
-Survivors can now start channelled actions again.
-Survivors suffer a 10% decrease in all channelled actions.
-Freddy's terror radius will be 16m in the dream realm.
-Freddy will receive tokens for every survivor asleep. Each token will reduce Freddy's successful attack cool down by 5% and increase his lunge by 5%.
-If a survivor wakes up, Freddy will lose a token.
-Sleeping survivors can be woken up by awake survivors by finding where the sleeping survivor has fallen asleep at in the real world and perform the wake up action. Sleeping survivors can also be woken up by being hooked and wherever the survivor has fallen asleep at in the real world will be automatically teleported to the hook. Survivors can also be woken up by being healed to the injured state from the dying state.
-The wake up action will take 25 seconds.
-You cannot be woken up when in the killer's direct contact (I.E When your on the killer's shoulder).
-Freddy can see auras of where the sleeping survivor has fallen asleep at in the real world.
This change aims at making Freddy more reliable with his power and adds more benefits to attempting to sleep multiple survivors. The down side to this change is when your chasing a survivor and he gets woken up by a awake survivor then teleports to where that survivor has fell asleep at in the real world. Nevertheless this is a buff overall and I want to hear your opinions about this! -
I made a fan made post about a new military killer if you are interested! It's called "New Chapter: The Last War" and I think you should check it out if your interested in a military killer
-
I feel like iron grasp and Boil Over needs a buff in my opinion to make them more effective in general but it won't be much, we'll have to see how these changes might affect the perk. Maybe iron grasp reduces struggle effects by 100% at tier 3 and Boil Over increases struggle effects by 100% at tier 3. Dance With Me should make mind games easier and activate when you enter a chase to add confusion. Maybe Dance With Me has an increased duration but I'll leave that to you guys to decide that. Windows of Opportunity is fine as it is because it can help new or inexperienced survivors learn loops and pallet positions.

@ZarStocher Yeah, I wanted an area control killer that's not as easy to counter like the trapper while being scary to go against like the nurse. I always pee my pants when I see I'm facing a Nurse because I'm like "please don't be a god nurse!" but any other killer I'm like meh.ZarStocher said:You have put a lot of effort in this one. Q: If a survivor is hit by a bullet, will he be injured directly or will he enter the injured state after the timer has ended?ZarStocher said:- I don't understand the way the bleedout timer works. If a survivor is hit by a bullet, will he be injured directly or will he enter the injured state after the timer has ended?
- Will a turret see survivors who are hiding in grass?
- What happens if you mine the exit gates with the turrets?
- Can Survivors sabotage the turrets?
Suggestions
Some addons, especially the Sniper Turret, seem to be too strong. It increases it's range and inflicts the dying state. This one should also have a downside. Maybe the increased range should be completely removed and maybe an additional penalty e.g. a delayed shot.
@ZarStocher A: When a survivor is hit by a bullet, the survivor will enter a 60 second bleed out timer. If the bleed out timer expires, the survivor will lose one health state and the bleed out timer will disappear.
Q: Will a turret see survivors who are hiding in grass?
@ZarStocher A: If the survivor is in LOS of the turret then yes but as a reminder, the turret only last for 1 minute or until the turret has used all ammunition. Zach only has 3 turrets without any addons so once all the turrets are gone, he's just a m1 killer, his turrets are his backbone. Once they're all gone, the game will become much easier for the survivor's.
Q: What happens if you mine the exit gates with the turrets?
@ZarStocher A: The turret will disappear from the trial when the 1 minute activation timer expires or when all of the turret's ammunition is used. Using more than 1 turret at an exit gate is inefficient for a killer because Zach would've been unable to use any in the early-mid game due to his 3 turret limit.
Q: Can Survivors sabotage the turrets?
@ZarStocher A: No, even if there was such an option, the survivor would've been seen and take heavy damage from the turret.
Concerns: Some addons, especially the Sniper Turret, seem to be too strong. It increases it's range and inflicts the dying state.
Sniper Turret (Ultra Rare): Increases the range of the turret by 12m, reduces the turret ammo capacity to 1, and will now inflict the dying status on any survivor. (If the survivor is in dying state and the turret has the "Tampered Turret" addon. The turret will decrease the survivor's bleed out timer by 25 seconds while in dying state.)
@ZarStocher Remember that the turret has 1 bullet and a 1 minute activation timer and that's it. Once that bullet is used, done, turret has done it's job by punishing the survivor for entering the LOS area. Any addon that would increase the ammunition would be considered useless because the ammunition would be reduced to 1, nothing can change the ammunition for the sniper turret or that would be considered OP. Delayed shot, I've considered this but if the survivor walks in the LOS area of the sniper turret, the survivor has likely not seen the turret which adding delay shot would just slow the inevitable. I wanted fun addons for Zach while not making them powerful with other strong addons if you see where I'm going with this.
Concerns: That seems to be very strong. And with the addons, it seems to be even stronger and maybe too strong, because the better addons don't seem to have a downside to them.
@ZarStocher I wanted the stronger addons to feel strong and not just a joke. Some killer's have weak Very Rare and Ultra Rare addons, such as the pig, I could argue the nurse, but I didn't want Zach to have lame Very Rare and Ultra Rare addons so I wanted them to be something as survivor that you would fear. It's like a EWIII Myers with a tombstone, you'll never know and it adds that scare factor which you don't see much of. To balance his very strong addons, I made it were they're not effective when pair with another very strong addon such as "Sniper Turret" and "Tampered Turret". That combo is the only combo that would render the turret useless after the survivor has been downed, which would make tampered turret a useless addon when there's only 1 bullet in a sniper turret. "Sniper Turret" and "Bag/Box of bullets" would also be a useless combo because the ammunition can only be at 1.
I'm okay with the bleed out timer of Last Wish being reduced to 25 seconds if the time of effect lasted slightly longer.
Last Wish: You want the best for your friends when you pass away. For the next 3/4/5 (Was 2/3/4) minutes after your eliminated from the trial any damage that would put any survivor into dying state will instead trigger a 25 second bleed out timer.
"Hopefully something will watch over us."
Thoughts?

Sometimes survivors could be having a bad day in Dead by Daylight, I mean they're humans as well and they've breaking points. Let's use an example to demonstrate what my point is... Okay let's say you are a survivor, you played normally by repairing generators until the killer found you. Eventually you ended up getting downed and hooked... the killer ACTUALLY camps you (Which is okay, I have no problem with camping itself) and you ended up getting sacrificed. Okay, whatever... but the next game it happened again but this time you was tunneled then you was hooked, camped... sacrificed. Next game it happened again, then again, then again until you had enough... which made you DC (I've DC before because I just needed time to cool down from the game and I wasn't going to wait 2 minutes just to be sacrificed). In general, just make losing be more fun which would solve most of the survivors that DC. However using flashlights, BNP, SWF, instant heals, and etc is currently fun... Thus why you see a lot of survivors doing this which makes the killer have a bad time sometimes. Hopefully you understand where I'm coming fromSlipperyFunTime said:My original post was simply that the complaints survivors have are used as justification for disconnecting and acting like babies in the post-game chat. Sure, both sides have their frustrations, but no frustration should justify rage-quitting or throwing a tantrum in the chat, and both of these are common with survivors.
-
Personally I absolutely love Technician because if your very lucky... you can 0 to 100% a generator without hitting any skill checks. This can be okay for ruin but this haven't happened to me yet

-
@Jack11803 I just wanted to point that out just in case they forgot what this Nerf would do. In fact I really want this nerf to happen so I can save my Sprint Burst, no more walking to save someone from a hook or walk back to a generator =P
-
Even with the 2-5 second delay in Sprint Burst, you can now save the perk which was something you couldn't do before if this change makes it to the live severs. You could just quickly release the shift key then quickly hold it again before the required momentum time expires so that you don't waste the perk.
-
@The_Manlet I definitely agree that Ruin is luck based RNG, not only totems but skill checks in general because rarely when I play survivor I can 0 to 100% a generator WITHOUT any skill checks appearing. As a survivor and killer main, I can sometimes hit greats but I don't need to hit greats if no skill checks are present during a repair. Another reason why Ruin should be a flat x/y/z% decrease in repair speed instead of hoping that survivors can't hit greats and hope they get a lot of skill checks.

I have a couple of fireworks for the perk Vigil and I know it my not be much but I'm balancing this for both the killer and survivor point of view.
Vigil: (Rework 1)
You look over your friends even in dire situations. You and your allies within an 8 metres range recover from all debuffs 10/15/20% faster than normal.
Vigil: (Rework 2)
You look over your friends even in dire situations. You and your allies within an 8 metre range recover from all debuffs 10/15/20% faster than normal and extend buffs by 0/5/10% longer than normal.
Vigil: (Rework 3)
You look over your friends even in dire situations. You and your allies within an 16 metre range recover from all debuffs 10/15/20% faster than normal.
Pick the best rework for Vigil and if you find one that you like then comment why you do like that rework the best. -
Well I play both survivor and killer, I'll give the hatch if the survivor deserves it but I'll never give the hatch to someone who is toxic or just made my experience as a killer terrible. On the other hand, if I'm in a swf group (Sometimes in general) and the killer gets destroyed, I would let the killer sacrifice me for his effort of trying but I won't if he makes my time as a survivor terrible (AKA: Repeatedly hitting me on the hook for no reason until I get sacrificed, camping me when there's 5 generators left and it's a 3v1, and etc).

@AlexAnarchy I wouldn't say 2 minutes but rounds end around 5 minutes and sometimes more depending on how effective Ruin is. Nevertheless how would buffing Light Bringer make generator progression faster? Yeah my idea would encourage multiple survivors to work on a generator more but survivors can also do the same thing in the live servers by working on generators together. It's a give or take and my suggestion on Light Bringer doesn't really give that many points for working together. Take some time to think about it, really it's not much of a change. If you want the math again then look at my previous post. -
@NeoGriim As a killer main, I understand your point and where you are coming from. However the nurse is a high skilled cap killer which she can be either a blessing or a bust killer depending on the user. If you want a indicator for the location of the blink then you'd use the Plaid Flannel addon to practice with her blinks (I did heard it's bugged but I'm not completely sure if the information is true or not). Hopefully this will help you with your understanding of her blinks.
Now, the change that you suggested could make the game unstable for both survivors and killer's. If the nurse became easier yet keep her devastating value, you'd see nurse through ranks 20-1 and personality I love to see variety as a survivor. Additionally this would be a tremendous buff to the nurse because even if survivors can see the location of the nurse's blink, survivors will have fractions of a second to dodge the blink. Hopefully this will help you with effects of this buff! However great idea through and through! -
@Brady Can you please, PLEASE just take a look at my suggestion, I really think it would work. Give my suggestion a chance because I took a lot of time into thinking about making the perk fair for both sides.Brady said:@Jack11803 said:
Every one thinking up these big changes. Your idea is good. But honestly...
Just make only obession able to use it. Problem solved. Only one D-strike s game, that won’t effect you that much.
literally what ive been saying

@Peppa_Pigsaw It wouldn't hurt to change the perk to...Peppa_Pigsaw said:Surveillance also needs a buff.
Surveillance:
Unlocks potential in one's aura reading ability. Survivors within a 2/4/6 meter(s) range of a regressing generator will reveal their auras to you as long as the survivor remains within range of the regressing generator. -
@weirdkid5 I really want your opinion (and others) about this idea and please don't be upset if you don't like this method of obtaining a legacy skin. I do have some solutions that DbD developers can do to add legacy back without it taking away the rarity of legacy itself. Legacy was obtained to players that prestiged their survivor/killer to P3 lvl 50 which at the time was extremely difficult due to the bloodweb. Players who did do this 100% deserve the legacy skin but in my opinion, this is unfair to the new players that never had a chance to earn their legacy skin by getting to P3 lvl 50. I think that after X amount of times you complete the bloodweb after P3 lvl 50, you'll earn a legacy skin but it would be a lot of grinding because those players who already had legacy worked a lot to get their legacy skin. Thoughts and please don't destroy me, it's just a thought so go easy on me, I know legacy is a difficult accomplishment.
