As a legion main, neither of the two boon perks really affect me.
I do feel for people who main low mobility killers though, CoH can definitely be OP against them.

It's because Twitter told you they're bad for the environment, right?
I don't use Twitter.

I own him but don't play him because of the NFT stuff. Sadly I can't get a refund.

I don't get how you get recoil from throwing, especially if it's your job/trick. I get it if the knives go lower or don't go as far as your muscles get tired but not like Deathslinger firing his gun where your body jerks up (which has less recoil)...
Yeah, I agree. Bloom alone makes more sense than recoil and would make him much nicer to play.

I just want more original characters.
We've seen what BHVR will do just to get a license and we've also seen that licenses can leave. I'd rather more original content that doesn't fund NFTs or leaves the game.
-
It's definitely bad.
Side note- I hate how the recoil goes up, if you're throwing something you should gradually be throwing lower and lower, right?
-
It's basically the same as the old system but it doesn't go down every month.

the main advantage I think PC players have is being able to stretch their screen, adjust brightness, and that flick thing where they can direct their camera towards you in milliseconds
Nah, the main advantage they have is that the game doesn't turn into a slideshow everytime something happens.

BHVR should've added a console-only crossplay option by now. We've been asking for it since crossplay was first announced, and the prevalence of hackers has only made it more necessary, but they've completely ignored both issues.
This! They should've had it like that from the beginning, PC players have way too many advantages given the state of the game on console.

Honestly it's not really much of an event. Gens look different, hooks look different and pumpkins exist... Cool.
The bloodpoint gift was the best part, would've preferred a bloodhunt though.

My stance on this is pretty much Park Avenue was greedy scumbags cause they know there losing the rights to Clive Barker in 2 months so they made the NFT as a last resort to squeeze money before they lose the rights. BHVR was either oblivious or was forced into making this NFT with the deal being no NFT no Pinhead in DBD and you know how much they wanted Pinhead in DBD so they did it without waiting but they should have waited till December for the rights to come back.
I don't think BHVR were forced, they knew about it and likely just wanted to put Pinhead in the game, not caring about the NFT.

Win: don't spend money on the game
Loss: spend money on the game

Dead by Daylight makes Cyberpunk 2077 look stable.

I've been playing many other games and got back into art.
Stranded deep is a gem of a survival game, even though I keep getting injured because I want to watch the sharks
-
I uninstalled the game. NFTs? More like No [Bad Word] Thanks.
-
It doesn't work like that. You can only see the killer's aura if they can see yours.
-
Yeah, can we not get angry with the mods. If some developers were blindsided by this news, I highly doubt the forum mods were part of these shady dealings.

We can stop demanding license content and support more original chapters.
For real. Aside from some recent cases (Twins, most notably) I've found that original content is much higher quality, especially in the terms of maps.
Every licensed map has been bad, that's a hill I'm willing to die on.
-
They might not sell them but they (at least the people making the decisions) knowingly made a deal that involved adapting content for use as an NFT.
We need to keep the pressure on them and keep threads like this relevant.

Getting the "Blood on your face" trophy.
I was playing as the pig with devour hope (I didn't bring a Mori offering), managed to get two RBT kills and two devour moris. I don't think I've ever felt so powerful as the killer since then.
-
A shame, really. I've been playing DbD since it was given out via PS+ (not too long before Spirit's release) but I only made this account for the forums yesterday.
I was really excited for today's patch and taking part in all the discussions here but now..? I don't even know how I feel, I just know that I don't plan on playing the game anymore.

A coordinated team can work around M1s. One hit down killers, Hag, and Pyramid Head are a totally different story.
So if we're honest, it would be a buff to SWF, a nerf to killers overall and barely a difference to solo Q.

I advocate for this as well, as it's the most simple fix for camping. But you'll be hard pressed to find reasonable people who agree on these forums.
It doesn't fix it at all though. Yeah, Bubba wouldn't be able to chainsaw camp but most camping killers do it with their M1 anyway.
-
Roberta from Black Lagoon could be pretty cool. I don't know how well anime characters would translate to DbD's art style though.
-
No map offerings means more bloody party streamers and one less thing for SWF or Killers to rig in their favour.

How is being able to be M1’d or grabbed safe? It just prevents it being a safe zone for the killer to ruin the match for everyone.
A good survivor will be able to avoid the M1. I'm not necessarily talking about a survivor going for an unhook here. A survivor could run the killer to a hooked survivor and exploit the fact that the killer can't use their power at all.
Many hooks have a loop nearby, some maps (such as Haddonfield) could become extremely oppressive depending on the killer if they can't use their power in certain areas because of a hooked survivor.
I agree that camping is annoying, I just don't think this is the solution to it.
-
There is a reason.
It would create a relative safe zone for survivors to exploit. The radius would need to be extremely small, at which point it would be a pointless mechanic especially against Trickster (the current king of camping) and other ranged killers.
