May I ask what it meant to be a “trusted” user? Never understood it
-
The first time I ever found a skeleton key in a chest, I hid in the basement the entire game because I thought it was super rare and I didn’t wanna lose it LOL, I didn’t even know how to use it, I saw pink and went “woooow!”
-
Yep! The people who complain either aren’t too good yet, or they want 4Ks handed to them without effort.
Now, there is a different between good players and toxic. I am referring to skilled survivors. Wanna make that clear. I enjoy a good challenge

Totally agree. Wish cross play had an option for consoles only since looking for PlayStation matches exclusively is near impossible now
Edit: I would also argue that last gen consoles are at the biggest disadvantage. After switching from ps4 to ps5 I’ve realized ps4 was comparably unplayable (not literally but it’s very hard)

He’s more than good.

The problem with what you are suggesting is that by seeing the Killers profile you can work out a lot about the player in advance. For example from a Steam profile with their achievements you can usually work out which killer they're the most likely to play and change your build accordingly.
It used to be that you can see the Killers profile a long time ago (on Steam), and this led to players being effectively "blacklisted" because they were known for being a fantastic Nurse player for example, so they were dodged. That led to a lot of queue hopping, which affects matchmaking as well as players waiting an extraordinary long time for a match, just because they chose to play a character or that they were good at that character. So it was removed for very good reasons.
Why can they see survivor names then? The same issues happens on both sides. I, and people I know have been unfairly targeted and for example face camped, slapped on hook since the killer recognized us from a previous game, I’ve had this happen for simply escaping a player previously. Unlike PC, console players cannot freely change their username without a cost so that isn’t a sustainable option.

I hate playing against him mainly because his knives hitting just are annoying I couldn’t explain why LOL. Also don’t like his aesthetic.
I am guilty of playing him since they updated him, I have gotten all 3-4Ks since playing him. (So far 2 prestige’s) He’s a solid killer and don’t see how people find him weak
-
Follow the blood injured survivors leave behind :) There are worst things to complain about than iron will
-
I do this this is how balancing should be determined so I’m not upset, that being said I hope they don’t go overboard when it comes to the nerfs
-
This is an online multiplayer game. People want to play with their friends. Get over it.

Best / Easiest way for killers to get kills now, with all the nerfs and survivor buffs. It is only going to increase.
They have been generous to killers the past year. You’re clearly a newer player. Never been an easier time to play killer than now
-
I’m currently in the process of P3 him and I’ve gotten all 4Ks out of 10-15 games so far lol and I play on PS5
-
Mad grit, iron grasp, agitation, starstruck
-
A lot of pvp games feel this way. It just means you are going against a better team. Sometimes they add toxicity, some don’t. I sometimes feel this way playing killer, survivor, guess my other example outside dbd would be the newer cods. People love spraying bodies, especially if you’re killing them a lot. Remember it’s just a game, if you’re not enjoying it leave or go afk till its done. Not worth getting upset over.
-
I seriously thought his only issue was his terror radius. Not sure what warranted so many changes
-
I don’t mean this in a negative way, but I’d be interested to see how new players react to the older versions of this game. Game is very killer friendly now. Anyone who has been around long enough knows they’ve been treating killers well the past year or two

Deathslinger

I personally feel like it’s always been oddly popular. Didn’t the devs confirm it’s the most used exhaustion perk with stats or something?
-
No way people are suggesting solo queue is possibly op

I know which you’re talking about because when I came back to safari I still had it opened, refreshed and it said it didn’t exist

Freddy

Are we gonna ignore how loud the boons are? They’re so easy to find

Trickster

Nemesis players by far

Really? cause it seem every freddy I get seem real toxic, legions/clowns/plagues /myers with him seem to be the top most immature killers, hitting you on hooks none stop, mind you am not even a toxi as a survivor main and I dont use clicky clicky cause even as a survivor main when other survivors clicks a flash light on me it turns me off.
Surprises me too but that’s been my experience! Most toxic for me I’d say are nemesis, huntress, legion and clowns. They show by far the most bm lately
-
A lot of young teenagers, 20-30 year olds
-
Freddy (of course post nerf). I feel like the Freddy player base has changed, not as toxic. Honestly, they’re the least toxic killers I’ve run into the past few months. Didn’t think I’d ever say something like that.

I fail to see how this is a problem. If anything, I would advocate for survivors also being able to see the killer's name before the match (but not who they're playing, obviously.) Being able to recognize and dodge known toxic players or hackers is a good thing and survivors deserve that grace as well.
If you don't want people to see your hours or your wall of -reps, private your profile. If you're paranoid that people are recognizing you and dodging you, change your name periodically. It's not like you don't have the tools to circumvent a bad reputation if so you choose.
I agree with all of that tbh. If we aren’t gonna hide survivor names, let us see the killer too. This is an old post, I have my friend requests and messages off now lol. I change my name every few months still but I play mostly killer so it doesn’t matter much now.
-
Why are people replying to this old post lol. My stance still stands I guess but I’m a killer main now
-
I started maining killer again because I got sick of solo queue. I actually have a more enjoyable time playing killer, I have control in each match. I know when I lose it’s probably my fault. When I play survivor losing feels extra annoying when you have bad teammates because there is literally nothing you can do about that.
-
Yep. No longer activates if you are unhooked
-
Open it yourself pal
-
4k for killer, killer doesn’t 4k for survivor
-
Well they’ve obviously already started going in the direction of passive abilities with nemesis and pinhead.
-
At the very least it should be spawned when the last gen is done. Even then it wouldn’t be useful since the gates are available.
-
Curly hair representation
-
Exactly! Do bones
-
Yep, hatch was one of the main ways for me to escape solo queue, I’ve died 9/10 games since then. Running bond does nothing but shows how randoms tend to just crouch behind things. Cant do anything about that.
-
I think they just did because crashed on Thompson house and had no penalty
-
bozo definitely just got a 0k
-
There were three boons active, but we were inside a zone of two

DS is fine, nerf Unbreakable, Dead Hard, and Borrowed Time instead
How on earth do you think unbreakable should be nerfed? It’s literally a one time use
-
Sounds like you need more practice. If you think this game isn’t killer sided now you’re delusional, especially after this update.
-
If you’ve watched the movies, you can soften him up if you’re nice
-
Usually the others have it on, so I replace it with bond
-
Some of you guys take this game way to seriously.
-
You’ve gotta be joking… they’ve been kissing killers a**es lately
-
I’ve had a killer call me trash for having borrowed time on… This was before the buff
