He is fun overall but such a pain to play as against red ranks who knows how to loop and juke his power, which honestly, most player can do (around my rank). His lunge definitely needs tweaks, and perhaps the bounce and fov a bit (though not necessary). Otherwise a good addition to the game (and perhaps a new favourite of mine).
-
I like his power. It is really cool, But currently it seems to me that his camera height is too low and his rush hit box is too unforgiving. Honestly fix these 2 problems I think he is fine the way he is. At least give him time to find his place in the meta. Also his perks are best I have seen within this year's content so I am pretty excited for him to be live.
-
maybe stick a black paper covering the left hand part whenever you play the killer
Honestly I have zero idea what happens if you mess with character files, but I think it is quite risky to modify the files
-
He just needs to lower the cooldown base kit and reduce the effects of the add-ons
-
Yes but not how they end up right now.
-
It could be just for PTB as I feel like this PTB is rushed out

He isn't really much worse but enjoyment from playing him dropped significantly. Just like with Nurse, they didn't over nerf him, just made him far less fun to the point that many won't continue on playing him.
I hope they'll tone CDs down after PTB ends otherwise his play rate will be the same as nurse.
Yeah I agree nurse is still very strong yet unfun to learn and play

I agree.
Calm sounds good right about now.
The community can be so volatile sometimes, often for the most minor of "offenses" or reasons.
Yeah literally the whole forum is full of killers saying they're quitting

I just picked him up 2 weeks ago. I was really liking him.
I'll adjust, but man...I can't even think about the dedicated Billy players that have been playing him religiously for 4 years.
it doesn't change steering it just requires more decisioning (in my opinjon)
-
I remember they saying they're not gonna do it as the files are deleted permanently.
But I'll have to agree that the old Freddy's power was fun and unique. Wish they did a doctor style rework instead of the full rework.
-
If they add cooldown to Billy might as well add a 300 second cooldown to hooking survivors, breaking pallets and vaulting as a killer.
-
Do you get notifications when someone is rescued in a cage?
-
I mean I am fine with lower add on power and actually a steong base power. I'd prefer all killers to be able to play add-on less while not overpowered with add-ons.
-
Oh come on only the cage changing position is needed. Removing aura is completely overkill
-
This game seriously needs an Operation Health, or its gonna take another 3 years to at least make all perks viable.
-
New bugs are appearing at a faster rate than the devs can fix. The game still needs a ton of quality of life updates to smoothen and balance gameplay. Also they have to create new chapter every 3 months. And they are currently working at home. Not sure what they can do at this point.
-
Only Legion has 2 for Frank and Julie. All others (non licensed) characters have one.
-
They would have to make another model so... Probally not gonna happen soon.
-
Iri head is a problem, but that doesn't justify sending hate message to a person using it because they are simply playing what's in the game. Same thing goes for keys and moris.
-
Survivors and Killers' Bloodpoint difference has always been a problem and something BHVR are improving by adding more actions that can award bloodpoints.
-
Well considering they have much more others things planned to do and even more bugs to fix, this might take a long time until its being looked at.
-
Might also increase reload time but that might be a little bit too awkward to use.
-
Yeah if it is one shot only it would be better and actually change the playstyle, which is what iridescent addons should do.
-
The problem I have with TrueTalent is that
1) Most of his titles are clickbaits
2) The games he shows when claiming something is good are usually the games where survivors are rank 1 potatoes or messed up hugely.
3) Sometimes when he messed up or his bild didn't work he would give the impression like "thats just how unbalanced the game is".
4) He often talk as if he knows a lot when he is actually quite not familiar with certain things
5) His videos are purely effortless (without any edits) and sometimes even pointless. Not educational, just a part of his stream with a click bait title.
I don't hate him, I just don't like how he acts.
-
The old DS also only affected survivors so it's not something new

the problem with it disabling if another person is hooked is that its easily manipulated. its not hard to down someone doing a 1 for 1 and hooking the unhooker then rehooking the ds person for free. they were still technically tunneled and therefore would have 0 defense against it
Make it so that the perk will not be deactivated when downed, which also counters slugging against DS
-
If you are perfect with with nurse, she is still unquestionably the strongest.
Yet she is much harder to master and very frustrating and boring to play as, at least for me, due to the cooldown.
They could've just nerfed the range or charge time but no, they had to add a god damn cooldown to make it obnoxious to play.
-
Legion actually got indirectly buffed by smaller map size since survivors will be more clumled up. His power is not the worst but it is the penalties that it has makes it frustrating to use.
-
Well itit's kkinda the same problem woth Spirit. They are both designed in a way that could be frustrating to survivors (no feedback when phasing/ unable to stealth). So it is difficult to change those parts of the killer while keeping the original concept/ identity of the killer.
-
Well the new Freddy definitely requires less skill. I would have loved the old Freddy w/ some tweaks and maybe a secondary power.
-
The duration nerf is not the problem. The fact that this perks requires skillchecks (a random factor) and survivors' skills (hitting only good skillchecks) to be useful is what makes it useless. Also the basic attack condition makes it less useful on some killer. I really don't get why they like to add basic attack condition to every perk possible.
-
They made the math easier and rework the boring add ons.
-
I understand the extra week is to fix bugs
But why nerf gearhead when it is the only mediocre perk in this chapter for killer.
-
maybe the progress should regress to 90% if you don't finish it..? That might be a easier fix.
-
If Bubba's chainsaw is actually good maybe people would stop camping.
-
These are the changes I would want
RBT requires at least 1 search before successfully taking it off.
Terror Radius reduced back to 24~28 meters.
Ambush Roar plays near 70% of the Ambush charging bar.
Increase crouch speed to 105~110% (from 90%)
Make add-ons that rewards for landing Ambush
Ambush dash duration extends to 3~3.5 s (from 2.5 s)
Give us back our END GAME PIGGY since survivors would just 99% gates anyway
Not all the changes above should be implemented. 2 or 3 changes would help the Pig a lot. The Pig is very fun to play. Her dash can be amazing at loops that doesn't has long walls. Before the EGC update the RBTs also allowed different play styles (Slow down Gens/ Pressure in End Game). The smaller radius was great too since it provides synergies with Whisperer (not sure why the devs nerf it).
-Another hopeful Pig main

I mean, for me, its gotta be Freddys revamp.
to me, although the current Freddy is strong, his powers feel boring and requires less skill than the old version. His add-ons are kinda boring too. But I do think it is a good change.
-
Except BP offerings others should be secret.
-
JUST A COINCIDENCE. I am still facing red ranks from green ranks.
-
The only reason you would cleanse totems are due to one single killer perk. Who in BHVR thought that would be fun and interesting. It would be better to add a totem counter + reasons to cleanse totems besides NOED that isn't a perk. It would be like a secondary objective.
-
maybe the more casual players are not playing because deathslinger is delayed till next week. All I've been going up against tofay as rank 10 is sweaty red ranks finishing 3 gens 1st hook, 1 more gen after 2nd hook, and game ended with 3 hooks and 4 chases. I didn't make any mistake that extended a chase, and the survivors did not made mistake either.
It could be the matchmaking system's fault. I am kinda frustrated right now so probably not gonna play more today. I just want to play with survivors at similar skill levels, where I can get around 2 kills without having to tunnel/bring gen perks every game/bring Noed.
-
NOED can be countered, while Exhaustion perks/ Adrenaline/ BT (except for stealth killers and Freddy)/DS have almost no counter play.
There is literally nothing you can do when a survivor Sprint burst/ Lithe away from you. Adrenaline is a free health state + sprint burst when all gens are done, and it will activate 100% of the time as long as you finish 5 gens (which is not that hard). Nothing can be done against BT especially in the end game when the survivors just unhook in your face. DS literally makes it useless downing a survivor that made a mistake after being unhooked for 60 seconds. You either slug and survivors come to heal, or eat the stun and let the survivor get up for free, which is why most killer slug because it wastes a little more of the survivor's time.
-
I would say clown and pig. Pig's dash can be used in some shorter loops. You can almost guarantee a hit if they don't leave the loop. Clown if played really well can be deadly to. Placing his bottles in position where survivors have to get through to go to a loop is really strong.
However, there are some games that I feel powerless when playing these killers. I believe this is mainly due to in the current state of the game, if a killer doesn't have high mobility (applying map pressure), you will have to rely on mistakes that survivors make in order to start the "snowball" and win the game. (while playing almost perfectly as killer)
-
Getting a decent amount of chases
Confusing survivors with Hag
End a game with one Oni blood fury/ tier 3 myers
hitting people in loops with pig dash
head pops with pig
Running a Spirit for 1 minute 30 seconds and escape through hatch
crawl to a hatch
Hit 5 old ruin skill check in a row
I really enjoy the game, and I hope in the 4th year of this game the developers are gonna fix the core problems currently in the game.
-
It could be 30 seconds without getting hit but only activates once per match
-
Object of obsession
Same reasons as the OP.
Decisive Strike
It working when I obviously didn't tunnel.
-
A good thing would be to brighten up some of the darker skins and overall reduce the brightness of all maps, like what they did with Lery's. Also a little more fog would be kind of nice.
-
I would say clown/pig except when I get gen rushed. Spirit is kinda nice too.
-
I mean a good change would be only one survivor can use toolbox on the same generator. But I doubt BHVR would change it.

My big problem with BHVR is that they can't balance gens for #########, but with the new toolboxes games are actually going at a decent pace on the PTB, so if they just keep it like that then I'll come back, I'm not giving these greedy companies money but I'll play the game.
I dont know how the toolboxes changes are gonna effect the game pace since no one plays seriously on PTB so..... We will just have to wait and see.
