It’s because they don’t like her ninja ways and don’t like that people who use her to be toxic by t bagging them. I use her as my survivor main but I never t bag anyone unless they deserved it. I’m also a doctor main and I usually spare Claudette mains I aim for toxic megs😀.
This is what I don't understand though. Being a ninja is a play style. It's not unique to Claudette.
-
I got news for people who say they hate Claudette because she can be hard to locate. Claudette isn't the only survivor who can stealth.
-
You could probably get it by farming with one or two survivors.

I think 'super' is just an overused word. Others include 'basically' and 'obviously'.
Words such as (almost said it): 'Like'. You engage in conversations and it's "I was like-", "He was like-" usually followed by a weird face or an exaggerated "What?". Very common idiot speech.
But Y'ALL is something different. Whether it's a territorial or a cultural term, it is being used more than ever by a wider range of people. It sounds so forced when somebody suddenly starts using it.
It's more common than ever.
"So wadda Y'ALL think? Do Y'ALL like the new content? Y'ALL leave a comment in the comments section below. I'll be interested to hear what Y'ALL have to say. PEACE!"
Pop Vinyls ahoy.
Stop.
I agree with you on the word "like" being overused.
I've even been conditioning myself not use that word so much when I speak.

Hands down, Nurse with wings. I threw my money at my ######### monitor.
Yep, that one was well-designed and unique.

Why is it a knockoff?
I'm honestly asking, I don't play Legion, I don't care for Legion, I think he's the worse killer this game has ever seen.
I'm just wondering. Thank you.
"Knock off" might have been harsh language on my part. I used that word because both skins feature the same articles of clothing.
I was expecting the devs to pick skins that were totally unique from what we have in the game now. But I guess not.

I'm not gonna keep going, at this point you're just being defensive and ignorant. Oh yeah, the mask and jacket are unique? You mean the two main features of the outfit? Well doesn't that make at least 75% of what the outfit is unique? I can't stand people like you. Grow up. 🤡
You're the one who engaged with me. I expressed perfectly valid criticism.
Maybe keep that in mind before you insult someone.
-
I kinda like Tier 3 Discordance more because I'd rather the noise notification not be as frequent (gets a bit annoying).
Besides, doesn't the perk stay lit up once it activates? That's really all the notification you need.

Voting sounds like a good idea.

I literally pointed out how both skins are different from each other in great detail but, I mean, I guess you can't make the blind see. Maybe you'll get the skin you want next year, bud. 🤡
They are still the same articles of clothing lol. The jacket and mask are somewhat unique I admit.
Still looks similar to his old skin.
Compare the Jar Head Nurse skin to her other skins. I wonder which skin is more unique 🤡
-
I guess shame on us for pointing out the similarities between two skins?

Other people who are in the minority. If you look at the submission page, it has over 9 pages of glowing accolades. The skin is immensely unique and just because it shares a slightly similar color scheme to this:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/FK2OQ3FJ32Y8/image.png
Makes it no way the same as this:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/UTFTY5FL6N7G/image.png
Literally, the only physical detail that the two cosmetics distinctly share is the choice of handle on the knife, which is a karambit. The mask is literally animated as opposed to a cloth bandana type mask, the characters are different (Joey in High-Vis, Frank in NSS), the skin has a backpack full of unique weapons, Frank has a leather jacket and tons of knick-knacks as opposed to Joey's neon-windbreaker. I could even go to the finer details like the printing and weathering of the hood, the use of police tape, the chains, even the SHOES.
C'mon, now. You're just looking silly at this point. Just say you saw the black and teal color scheme of the two cosmetics and went "Oh, they're the same thing, how unoriginal!" without further comparison. They're not similar, stop preaching that they are.
Thanks for providing an easy comparison. And yes, both skins look similar. Same type of clothing and everything.
People like this skin because it's just like his other skin but better lol.
Maybe I'm being unreasonable, but I would have chosen a skin with a totally unique concept. Something completely different than what is already in the game. Perhaps a safari hunter Deathslinger skin or wooden clock Wraith skin. Someone even submitted a Jar Head Nurse cosmetic. Those are unique skins!
-
I don't care so much about the survivor skin (although I was hoping Jeff would get a skin).
I'm more irked that the devs chose a Legion skin that looks very similar to a skin already in the game.

I never said the cosmetic was bad. Just unoriginal.
I can appreciate how much work went into that skin.
Just wish the devs would have chosen a cosmetic that was unique.
We could have had a safari hunter deathslinger or a wooden clock wraith skin (there were many more great skins as well).

Wrong. Other people have expressed displeasure over this event.
It doesn't take a genius to recognize the similarity in appearance between two skins.

Yep, we Southerners like to use the word y'all.

Definitely Ghostface or Pyramid Head
The other killers are a bit lackluster imo.

How unbelivably ungrateful, while I do agree the Claudette cosmetic is generic, the legion one is quite unique, they have no other cosmetic with face changing animation or that looks remotely similar to the one that won.
You can think what you want. Myself and others have agreed that the Legion skin is unoriginal.
While I can respect the amount of work the artist put in creating the skin, it doesn't change my belief that the skin is a knock off.
I would have preferred the devs pick a skin that is totally unique from what we got right now. The Jar Head Nurse cosmetic or Safari Hunter Deathslinger cosmetic were both way better skins. There were several other skins that looked a lot better as well.
-
People had no qualms complaining about pre-nerf Spirit and Nurse.
But as soon as you mention SWF, people act like the problem is non-existent. That, or they say nothing can be done about SWF lol.
Just goes to show you how biased the community is.

I forgot I can no longer comment on it. But it's in the Design your own in game cosmetic page and it's on the second page. It's called "Legion - Frank, Never stop slashing" and had 9 pages of comments. Check it out.
Okay, so that outfit does come with different color schemes and a mask that has an animation effect.
So in other words, it's just like the other Legion skin but better lol.
Maybe I'm being unreasonable, but I would choose a skin that has a unique concept.

Looks similar yes, but doesn't have a face-changing animation, that's what makes this one more unique.
What face changing animation? All I know is Legion already has a skin that looks very similar to that one. Hell, they're even the same relative color LOL.

To be fair the Legion one is pretty cool if they keep the face changing idea.
Legion already has a skin that looks very similar. That was the first thing I noticed when I saw the submission.
But hey, this is BHVR we're talking about.
Ignore the safari hunter Deathslinger or wooden clock Wraith skin and choose the recycled skin instead.
-
I would say it's a pretty decent chapter. New killer and map looks pretty cool.
We'll have to see how things shake out though.
-
The devs have disappointed me twice in a row with these artwork contests.
Whoever is in charge of deciding the winners just seems to ignore the really unique skins.
This contest was even worse imo. Legion already has a skin that looks very similar.
There were so many better and unique skins that people submitted.
I guess the devs only judge skins that fall within a certain spectrum of acceptable concepts.
Don't think I will look at the submissions next time they do this. Because I now know all the good skins will be ignored.

Reworked Thompson House has like, 17 or 18 Pallets lol
I counted Groaning Storehouse, and it has 16 pallets, 9 on one side and 7 on the other.
"Reworked maps" lol What a joke.
The funniest example is Fractured Cowshed. That map has always been heavily survivor-sided. But I actually think they made it stronger with the rework LOL.

Tbh I would have all the totems apply a flat regression per totem. that cant be stacked with perks like thana or dying light. That way there is a push towards doing totems, working against noed and making the games slower in general. That way the devs dont have to create a new item or anything for it as it's a established thing that effects them but can be denied by good players or players with small game
Interesting idea.
Might be too strong, but it could possibly work out.
-
@illusion said:
They really do need to rework the maps. Some have god loops while others have big dead zones. It's not balanced because there are some maps that are better for each. All of the maps need to be balanced for both sides. I'm sure that it may be a challenge for the devs, but it needs to be done.
I'm also not sure why they have completely ruled out secondary objectives. They have added them for events, so it's not like it would be hard. To rule it out means that they aren't considering ALL possibilities to improve the game.
I think reworking the maps would be the easiest route.
I would even be fine with the devs making stealth stronger on certain maps (assuming they reduce the number of safe pallets to compensate).
As for secondary objectives, it's definitely possible. The devs could also supplement extra objectives with map reworks.

@SurviveByDaylight said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/155115/the-devs-have-a-choice-to-make
The survivors need more entertaining ways to do their objective, but as far as increasing the time it takes to do their work absolutely not. It’s already too much the killer has such an easy way of killing people fast why should they make it harder to do gens?
Idk what safe pallets you’re talking about but most pallets suck lmao why do pallets have a small piece of debris on either side of them so the killer can just walk around? It defeats the purpose of using a pallet to cut the killer off? There’s already a lack of them on every map.
The map design for this game is still abysmal.
Try playing an M1 killer on Fractured Cowshed.

@AChaoticKiller said:
it's a ruff balance, not all survivors are competent so treating the game as such will make lower skilled players want to quit since the killer will be able to get more downs easier. However as it is now they can last long in a chase while the others gen rush.
I personally think they should add another mechanic similar to EGC but for the start of the game. There was an idea on this that I and many others liked where for the first 2 minutes or so all gens would be repaired at only 50% speed until the timer is up or the killer hits someone. It would give the killer a chance to either set up or start chasing and get a down before a gen is almost already done.
That's an interesting idea.
And I fully agree how tricky it can balancing this game.
I think the devs need to re-evaluate the ranking system. If you're a survivor that needs a lot of safe pallets, then I would argue that you should be in lower ranks (where the killers are less experienced).

That's way too short of a cooldown.
Then make it 50/40/30. I don't think 30 seconds is too short of a cooldown.
-
Like you said, any down should trigger it (grabs included).
Perhaps increase the range to 40 meters.
And definitely shorten the cool down. I'm thinking 40/30/20 seconds.

Fungoose and Umbra are I think two of the best I've seen.
Otz and True are good but they make dumb mistakes sometimes or don't know what a perk or something does. Like you have 6k hours how do you NOT have every perk/item/add-on description memorized? (This is more True than Otz).
Monto I'm pretty sure cherry picks his games. He also plays really scummy as killer, where I've seen other killers perform better than him and play fair, which takes a lot more skill. Not saying there is something WRONG with playing scummy, just that it takes less skill at the end of the day.
Zubat is good but he also plays a bit scummy. He has a complete IDGAF attitude, which again is fine, just I see Fungoose/Umbra rarely play that scummy and do as good or better than he does.
Nothing against any of these people BTW. I watch them all. But Fungoose/Umbra I think are the most skilled killers. The fact that Fungoose can play AND explain everything a mile a minute, oh boi does that take a lot of skill in an of itself, then he goes on to consistently 4k as Freddy with no add-ons and no slowdown other than Pop. That's skill man.
Yep, one reason I like Fungoose is because he will tell you plainly that the game is survivor-sided. I appreciate his honesty.

If every pallet on the map was mind-gameable that wouldn't be fair, especially because they removed the infinites, we still gotta have some safe loops or else looping a pallet wouldn't be very worth it.
I just said that I did not want to make every pallet on the map mind-gameable lol.

Okay but that's the thing, all we have left are safe loops that are very mind-gameable because they got rid of all the infinites.
Many of them aren't mind gameable once they throw down the pallet lol.

@KettleWettle said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1294248#Comment_1294248
Okay but you're basically wanting them to make every loop weak is what i'm getting at here. They removed infinite loops because well, they were OP, now we don't have any infinite loops and all we have to work with are normal mind-gameable pallets. What more do you want ?! They removed our infinite loops and now all we have to work with are normal loops ? If you can't hit me at a mind-gameable loop well then I just played well and it's a advantage for the survivors side ? Like I just don't understand.
I never said or even implied that all the loops should be weak. I said survivors have too many strong loops. Many of the maps still have an abundance of safe pallets.
And don't even get me started on the really disgusting setups where survivors can chain windows with other tiles.
All I'm saying is the devs need to remove SOME of the safe loops and replace them with unsafe loops. Survivors shouldn't be able to go from title to tile because the loops are safe.

May I ask how the game is still survivor sided ? Because I'm gonna give you two main changes that actually hurt the survivors.
- The repair speed Efficiency Debuff for each Survivor working on a generator has been increased to 15% (up from 10%).
- Great Skill Checks while repairing now give 1% bonus progression (down from 2%).
And well, i'm not even gonna get started on the map reworks because it's gonna start a whole war. But i'm just gonna say that at least every map as a total of 2-3 Dead-Zones now.
This recent patch hurt the survivors more than it helped them, and i'm not complaining but this patch made it a lot more difficult for the survivors side. I still don't understand why killers still complain about gen speed even though it got nerfed. I just don't understand. It's almost like some people want it to be literally impossible for survivors to win.
The recent patch may have hurt unskilled survivors. But skilled survivors still have way too much to work with on most maps.
When you accurately analyze the maps, you'll notice that survivors still have plenty of really strong loops. The devs still have not learned their lesson with these strong loops. Until they do, survivors will continue to have a pretty big advantage.
And the map variations with the big dead zones are still winnable for survivors. You just have to be much more efficient at looping (which includes winning mind games). This may be too much to ask of inexperienced players, and to that I say those players have no business being in higher ranks anyway.
-

I fail to see how the game is still survivor-sided when it never was for any solo player to begin with.
Solo survivors have the potential to be stronger than most killer setups. Four really good solo survivors will stomp most killer setups. Unfortunately, in most cases there is at least one or two randoms who are weak and helpless (which can cripple the team).
-
Killers have every right to complain because the game is still survivor-sided (going on 4 years now). The map rework was a nice step in the right direction, but unfortunately map design is still abysmal.
The devs have A LOT more work to do before the game starts becoming relatively balanced.
And your claim about how the devs balance around high end PC players is completely false. I wish that were the case though. Because then the devs would realize how strong survivors actually are and balance the game accordingly.
-
0^0 is classified as 1 or undefined.
Any number to the 0 power is 1.
I'm not sure how to explain it in simple terms, but you should have learned about the law of exponents:
x^a/x^b is the same things as x^a - b (basically you're subtracting the exponents)
Here's an example with real numbers:
2/2 = 1 ... right?
But 2/2 can also be thought of as 2^1/2^1, which still equals 1
So, the law of exponents tell us that 2^1-1 = 1
Now you see why 2^0 = 1
