Congrats. No one cares, you little manchild :)

Write it in your livejournal next time.

Why you gotta assume their gender?

  • I'm just waiting for Pig to get to Spirit and Nurses level.

I mean this can be said about any killer - except if the killer gives up because they realize they're about to waste 2-3 minutes getting looped around safe pallets

I agree to an extent. I don't play survivor nearly at the level I do killer but I can consistently get to to red ranks. When I do go against spirit I find it very hard to get her off of you.

Of course other killers would be wasting time if they stick on you and the other survivors get gens done. However with Spirit and Nurse in particular, I believe its the fact that they have such powerful mobility that allows them to stick on survivors a lot longer than another killer would because they know they have the safety of speed and mobility to get across the map when they need.

Ok guys let's nerf every killer to legion level and give them the ability to repair gens to help survivors

Honestly with how bad some survivor teams are, I wouldn't mind helping them with a gen or two.

  • So I'm a killer main and after talking to survivors in red ranks about why they dont like spirit a lot of people say the same thing they do about nurse.

Even if you can juke nurse and spirit and evade them momentarily, its almost impossible to fully escape them as you can other killers, and thats what makes them ufnun to go against.

Of course these are skilled nurses and spirits not brown - green.

You must camp and tunnel. They'll play very altruistic, so camping and tunneling will punish them.

Lol teaching terrible "strategies" is NOT the way. Camping and tunneling have their place and time, but not every single game you "Think" the survivors are a 4 man swf. There are way better solutions that will actually teach you to play the game and improve your skill in the process.

  • @Speshul_Kitten said:

Slug, it’s really the only way.

At such low ranks slugging is definitely not the only way. Even in red ranks slugging isn't necessary unless you are going against an insanely coordinated 4 stack that are pumping out gens fast.

At low ranks people probably aren't even in a 4 man swf, a lot of killers just think they are.

  • In reality it just comes with game sense. As a killer you will learn to not fall for obvious baits such as luring you way across the map, or run you to an infinite.

If you know a gen is being worked on and its pretty far into progressions and survivors scatter and there is one obvious survivor trying to lure you away, don't do it. If it is a 4 man swf like you say they will likely have a teammate who is good at running and looping, avoid this person always and go search for the others nearby the gen that is almost done.

Other perks that will slow down the game are the obvious ruin and depending on which other killers you have, Thanataphobia (Every survivor in the injured or dying state adds a slow down stack to all actions), Mangled Butcher (makes healing after taking a hit longer, also makes their blood trails easier to follow), Discordance (allows you to see generators being worked on by multiple survivors at a time), Surveillance (allows you to see generators that are being worked on once they have started regressing), Pop Goes the Weasel which you already said you have.

There are more perks of course such as Dying Light, heck even Huntress Lullaby is insanely good if you get all the stacks on it. In reality though most of this will be addressed with experience and time in the game, learning the maps, learning how survivors loop and play. Good luck though!

Even tru3 would have around 40~50% dc in his game despite doing all the stupid Build Request and not having an optimal build for most of the time.

    As I mentioned before,

I don't care about what kind of reasons you bringing up that would cause survivor D/C,

D/C is intolerable, and from my experience I see 70% D/C in my games,

    simple as that.

I understand that disconnecting is intolerable to you. I am not saying people should DC, I merely stated various reasons that the community has said over and over and over again are the reasons that they disconnect against killers.

  • @Nekoo said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/789282#Comment_789282

You are assuming I have crappy play-style with no evidence what-so-ever and personally attacking based on non-sense.

No reason can defend a D/C, period, it doesn't matter what kind of mastermind reasons you bringing up.

Go on and find some streamer with the best play style, tru3, otz whoever,

count how many of their games involve a D/C if survivor aren't swf winning.

If you're lazy how about I find it for you?

I'm not saying you do it, I'm just saying that could be a possibility. I don't know how you play, but if what you say is true that you have a 70% disconnection rate I would honestly start to think it was you and not the survivors as much.

As for you're top rank killer streamers I don't see that many DC's, because they usually play well, fair and efficiently. Not saying that they don't get DC's, but its nowhere near what you are saying you get.

  • @Nekoo said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/789272#Comment_789272

    see.

immediately assume killers brah brah brah and try to assume the reason they dc.

No one cares about your survivor rule book and salty survivor will d/c on whatever reason they can think of.

D/C is intolerable, and no one cares about your crybaby reason, be it getting found first, getting outplay in 10sec, about to die on third hook whatever. No. One. Cares.

If you paid attention to what I already said I main killer. The same can be said about your attitude. You don't care about the "Survivor Rulebook" those same survivors don't care for your tactics.

I'm not defending disconnects or survivors, but I also won't defend crappy play styles that no one likes. No one likes camping, no one likes tunneling, no one likes slugging. There is a time and place for all of those of course, but even when I play survivor I have seen killers who slug right off the bat. No one will find that fun except for maybe the killer, who lets be real, is doing that just to grief the survivors.

You are right though about being found first, getting outplayed, DC on third hook, those are just silly and salty reasons.

If you really did check my post you'll get the answer.

All killers, even legion and wraith, I posted it,

    if you really did CHECKED.

See I find it very difficult to believe that 70% of your games have a DC in them then. Unless you are literally playing like a scumbag. Slugging right off the bat, tunneling, camping etc.

I'm not defending disconnects but lets be real, a majority of the player base dislike certain play styles whether or not they are (strategies) and will disconnect often when they see these.

  • @Nekoo said:

    70%

D/C are way too common right now

You mentioned this briefly in another post you made, what killer are you usually playing when the DC's happen?

I ask because I main killer and mostly play everything except the top 3 red rank killers (Nurse, Spirit, Billy), and I don't see many DC's unless I'm playing Hag and people cant stand that they got basement hooked and see it as a GG.

  • I posted this in the wrong thread and meant to post it here.

The biggest reasons why I see people DC as survivor is if they are going against Nurse (Many feel its impossible to escape her, even if you evade her really good nurses at red rank will literally stick on you like glue), Spirit, Iridescent Head Huntress, Billy (insta down, incredible speed / map pressure), camping and tunneling.

I play killer mostly but when I do see killers DC its usually due to an SWF bringing Haddonfield offering, or ruin getting taken out instantly.

Oh also as killer I have seen teammates sandbag each other such as trying to pass off the killer on someone else when the other player has no idea, the sandbagged player will DC sometimes.

I agree that DC'ing has become more prevalent but honestly the root cause is the issues above. You can say tunneling and camping are legitimate strategies, but in reality no one wants to play against that, in any game ever.

  • Ill have you know Pigs are the nicest killers out there!

  • In very low rank most survivors are really bad, especially against killers who use tools and traps such as hag and trapper.

They don't understand that your ability is to teleport back to a trap activated. If that so happens to be at a hook so be it. They just see it as "camping", when in reality it's their fault for not clearing the trap ahead of time, or looking out for it.

Hell, they can even use a flashlight on it to destroy it.

Okay, so you think this behavior is okay while just hiding all game isn't.

I'm sorry, I am detecting some kind of double standard here.

Slugging is okay, getting t-bagged by the killer is whatever, I don't even get triggered by survivors doing it. However there is no double standard, you however reek of double standard, on every single post you make, you are so blindly survivor favored it's quite ridiculous.

Survivors who hide the entirety of the round when there are two left, and neither of them playing anymore by trying to work on gens is holding the game hostage. A killer should't have to load into every game with 3 or 4 detection perks just to combat these types of toxic players.

If the game was made to your preference survivors would escape 100% of the time and gen rushing would be okay and the killer would have to sit there and watch you do it.

    We've all had bad games.

I've had many games where I'm last to die, Killer just plops me on the floor and teabags me (by doing the up down looking movement) or some such until I bleed out.

Why aren't the devs doing anything about these killers?

Cause that isn't holding a game hostage.

I do not think swf provides too much of an advantage, so I can say that. I've had plenty of SWF games where the killer is either just plain better than us, or we play in a way that isn't necessarily the smartest but we do it because we're playing with friends. Not all friends are at the same skill level and that can make a game go downhill very quickly.

Theres a difference between red rank SWF groups and brown-green swf groups.

Who cares if they don't type GG at the end of the game. Are you actual serious right now? I play on PS4 so no one types anything. I never realized how lucky I was? People wanting to play games with their friends...imagine that. Honestly you guys sound miserable playing this game why don't you either stop or try playing survivor yourself if you hate going against SWF so much? And I've definitely had the rare game where random teammates decide not to be selfish and actually work together for a change. I would bet the killer thinks were SWF but we're not. It just happens sometimes.

Oh I do play survivor, I still don't like SWF though. I have nothing against playing with your friends, however in this game it causes way too much of an advantage to the survivor side. But you can pretend it doesn't.

  • The only thing you will see people say is "we just want to play with our friends bro". Yet those are also the same people that won't type GG unless they all escape.

  • Any time I see an immersed P3 Claudette join the lobby with a key or a map I will always bring franklins and I will always try to kill them first. I do this because majority of these players literally hide the entire game, don't work on gens, dont save others. They literally just try to hatch escape every game.

I would rather let the other survivors who aren't afraid to play the game live then to allow that Claudette her escape.

I live in the west coast as well, so if the devs by any chance read these comments they at least know those servers working ok.

Some people have complained about Nurse not working properly or something, but I'm watching Tru3talent play Nurse just fine right now, and he's from EU.

Yeah someone else mentioned that they were fine on the east coast as well so im assuming its central america thats having the issues.

most of the feedback I have read and seen is "they are better but still bad" im not the only one not playing until they turn off dedicated servers.

The only people you will see complain are the people that are having a bad time, doesn't make them a majority. The people complaining probably live far from a server. I have had zero issues whatsoever here on the west coast.

  • @ColonGlock said:

All my games were smooth as butter tonight as killer on the East Coast USA.

I'm telling you, all these people complaining must be in the middle of nowhere. I have had zero issues today at all in California.

  • I've literally had zero strange games today at all as killer. I think the only people having bad games are people that aren't close to servers.

  • They must have been in a SWF, the only reason why you should get that big of a gap in ranks.

  • There has been a ridiculous bug since 3.2.1 where as a Killer survivors will randomly disconnect from the game within a couple minutes of game start. To the survivors it says the killer disconnected, but the game is still ongoing with whichever survivors didn't disconnect.

I haven't been able to play a normal killer game since the patch.

  • Don't even get me started, tech support has literally been zero help on this issue. Since the patch came out I have not had a killer game where at least 2 people didn't DC within a few minutes.

  • If they were random crashes I would understand that. However I and totally unable to play any killer games because three survivors will drop from the game (not by choice) within a couple of minutes. This has happened every single killer game since 3.2.1.

I'm also not using Dying Light at all.

  • I'm bumping this due to still having zero help from the support team and hoping someone else has ran into this issue.

  • Yeah usually I experience my first two survivor disconnects right after a gen or two get popped, then boom, two DC, third probably disconnects cause he sees other two left, and then there is one poor guy sitting there like #########.
