Seems kinda bugged. One player has an enormous amount of points in my matches. Didn´t get a pattern here.
For your BP gain - you always have to look upper right to your actual points.
Remember with how much you start the match and see what you have once back in the menu.

They should consider to enable some perks for free at the start.
The game is getting less and less new player beginner friendly with the grind you have to do.
Also like Otz suggested they should make some new common perks.

yes, it has counter play but mostly for a swf which is not as common as people are led to believe. That’s it. That’s all you get.

I get this combo so often at the moment and normal players can´t handle it.

It is not your hardware it is the game.
I noticed that the game seems to need a very broad internet connection. I play on Ultra with a much weaker PC but i use FSR and lowered the resolution a bit with about 60+ fps.
My stutters mostly occur when more action is happening - totem/event effects - hooks - killer effects and so on.
At these points more data is sent/received which seems to be my problem. I have a very stable 14 mbit. Ok for all but maybe to low for DbD.

Maybe the usage will slow down after the event.
At the moment i see this constantly in my event games. And as i am mostly playing with normal players most games don´t end well. I can´t say but my escape rate is really low. Players dropping like flies.
And simple rule - if u see something constantly it is probably strong.

Absolutely not.
This is a rare occurence of some players still can have fun and be nice. It is a welcome change from some of these mean players that try to spoil everything about this event.
Got some today as well - i would love a farming killer sometimes.

I play on the ps4 and I don't have any problem with it, even without headphones i can easily find where the hatch is the moment I ear it 🤷♂️ maybe I just have more playtime or something

Hatch is already pretty rare. If you get lucky hatch - you get lucky hatch. That´s it.

This new combo of WA+FD is insanely strong.
This has to be tuned down in some way or another.

Again today.
I was last surv - was killed - nothing happens.
A few seconds later - to endscreen - Vecna and me shown as disconnected. At least it dindßt get stuck completely.

Yes, i also think this perk or this combo is really a bit too strong.
Just played against some killers who have it and boy… no chance - it is like they constantly see you.

Then play killer.
But for real - all you need is prestige 3 for the perks to be available.
Then you can go for prestige 6 for the bloody costume - but this is already less important because for most survs there are better cosmetics around.
I go for 6 at the licensed ones without extra cosmetics.
As Lokii said, there is no benefit for a high prestige. Some argue that you get dodged or tunneled even harder if you are higher prestige.

I thought this was on purpose because with all the multipliers you get that in one trial.
Now it needs like 3 games.

I don´t get nice killers very often. And i don´t get that some can´t slow down a bit if the survs are clearly massively under your level.
If you play both sides you know how this feels.

Already was in the last events. Just complete the event tome and you earn the currency to buy them.

Yes, that would be great. And much much more player friendly.
But i guess it will not happen because they want all the connections and account data and that you watch the streams.
Don´t use Twitch so i don´t get all of these.
It is better (for everything) to just learn to don´t fall for fomo to much.

There is in general to much aura reading and endurance in the game by now.
But as they can´t go back it will get more in the future.

Somebody has to teach good sportsmanship again.
It is simple - don´t give up - try your best. Even if it is hopeless. I sometimes escaped hopeless trials - feels really good.
And sometimes you earn the killers respect because you don´t gave up.

PC/Steam. Had this too yesterday. Vecna on autohaven.
Match ended with 4k. Suddenly froze and had to be closed via Steam.

Vecna - on one of the autohaven maps i think.
Match was over - he killed us all.
We chatted and after three comments the game just froze. Had to stop it in Steam directly.
My game is usually very stable.

If you play DBD regularly - you really complain about a few games which are not sweaty kill fests? Ok.

I only play solo q.
I play at different times and switch between killer and surv randomly.

Only at the start - she is older at the end.
The speculation is because of the Nemesis stats with the Zombie Apocalypse and we should try to kill Zombies - if Walking Dead comes i think it has to be the main cast first.
… also maybe - true survivors are many - Rambo, Ripley (got that), Tomb Raider (only the new version), Solid Snake… (David Hasselhoff Kung Fury :-)

I have a question about lethal - I tend to almost always be the one that gets targeted with lethal lol does the game preselect a single person at the start or does the killer get to choose who it applies to? (Or does it show all survivors auras and killer can choose who they go for?)
I’ll definitely do the double back method you described!Yes I tend to play with some friends who are much more balanced and some who are comfortable to take chase (not in a toxic way) so I find myself fulfilling a particular role - being a stealthy healer and use for the people, boon exponential etc.
I do enjoy watching both survivor and killer YouTube videos though! I find killer videos to sometimes be more educative as it provides an insight into the mindset killers have.
I’m glad to also get your feedback and other vets and members on the forum as players on YouTube sometimes (understandably) do things that I can’t pull off or regardless of the perk or theme of the video boils down mainly to being good at looping lolThank you so much again!! 🍰✨
Lethal shows all auras. Unless you have Distortion from Jeff - this perk hides you from aura reading.
Good perk because there is a lot of aura reading perks in game.
You can look up Youtube videos because i think some don´t know how often the killer can see them.
The killer chooses where he goes - usually the nearest one or when there are two or three together.
A Huntress often just throws hatchets at the auras directly from start.

I play both sides on PS4 and PC at the moment but in a more casual way. Doing tomes and challenges are more important than trying to escape. But i also have over 3.5k hours which is pretty crazy and more than i ever had in any game.
This game can consume so much time - and also this is a game where imo you get better the longer you play.
Unfortunately i think you learn a lot of survivor play by playing killer. Because you see what confuses you the most or what surv plays get you the most. Also you see all the mistakes surv makes.
So i try to give some humble advice:
try not to get found first - a lot killers use Lethal pursuer which shows all auras at the beginning of the match - just walk a few seconds in one direction and then go in the other direction and if you hear a heartbeat immediately - hide somewhere. Only a little bit away from you starting position, because there he saw you.
If you run you leave scratchmarks where a killer can follow even if he don´t see you. So here and there try to walk a short distance to distract a killer. You can see the scratchmarks from pretty far away - especially if you walk on the edge of the maps - the scratchmarks cover the wall and are even more obvious.
Some survs unnecessarily do fast vaults which causes explosions. If you don´t need to, don´t do it.
Special thing about doctor - he sees the ilusions, so he knows where you are.
I almost always run Bond from Dwight to see my teammates, and often kindred (see aura of killer near hooked surv) too. Good information.
Hope you have a good looper on your team (that alone wins games)
Watch youtube videos :-) There are so much good tutorials on how to do stuff. Even if you can´t pull it off it is nice to see what you can do.
SImple chase trick is to just run straight forward if you hear the killer - it takes some time to catch up - some leave you then. (Not Nurse, Blight or Legion..)
If you teammate is hooked across the map and all stay on their generators because it is almost finished and no one is saving the game is very often lost.
Last second saves often don´t work as intended - timer runs out - one person runs to the hook and gets caught and chased and the other ones are to far away. I have seen this so often.

When i play Chaos Shuffle it is pretty simple.
If my team is good with some good loopers and the killer is not, we get our gens and 3-4 escape.
If my team is not so good and the first goes down pretty fast, we often get in the bad rescue hook cycle. Then often nobody does gens anymore and we don´t escape.
So - Slowdown would be needed if the team is stronger - and not needed if the killer is stronger.
The ever balance problem for good and bad players at the same time which is very very difficult.
