  • Point 3 is a known bug, few people have had that :)
  • I'm a survivor. I often play SWF. And I completely agree with OP
  • I think they're brilliant ideas personally
  • It's still showing since my PS4 update ???

Just played two hours as survivor, came across 4 separate cases of killer/survivor cooperation farming.
SO frustrating when you try and have a fun evening with some friends.

Maybe they could just halve the cost of everything in the bloodweb for these events instead? Same net gain in bloodpoints:items ratio, but I don't think there'd be as much dickish gameplay

Not sure how that would change the way people would play. It's essentially the same thing.

It's a different kind of mind set. People think "oh stuff's cheap so I can play normal and still afford what I want in web." Instead of "must do everything I can to be a point pig!"
    EXACTLY my thinking

  • Aw cmon let's give the Devs a little kudos for adding little flourishes like the themed music. It's a load of work they didn't have to do :)
  • I used to play it all the time. Ironically, it becomes weaker at Tier 3 as you get more "false positives".
  • I used to run Spine Chill. Ironically I found it much more useful at Tier 2 than Tier 3. I guess it suffers like Whispers in that the increased range actually gives away "false positives". I personally don't think nerfs are needed
  • I must admit I'm cautious about the SHEER AMOUNT of changes coming in all at the same time. Even very slight changes can hugely affect the game, so I'm worried when all these survivor nerfs/killer buffs happen at once the games will be significantly less fun to survive in. It's just because all of these numerous changes are all going in the same direction at once
  • I absolutely play stealth, and love it! It's just a shame the game is moving away from that so drastically (Freddy, Evader etc)
  • Hype's dead now.
On console our most recent killer is The Pig, from January.
I reckon there will be lots of people who would have "impulse purchased" Curtain Call on release as the anticipation is always HUGE before a new killer. But with the PTB and console delay, we've all seen the killer loads online, the new map, Kate,- it's all old news now.

Same will happen next time too, even with just the PTB delay. The hype gets killed as we see it all online before we can buy
  • Dc results in 15 min ban and 5 depips. And the loss of your addons, ofcourse. The game would be very different and much more enjoyable

I like the theory of an instant time ban. A pain for intentional DCs but reasonable for the (what should be very occasional) genuine disconnect
  • Killers have survivor skins, and survivors have killer skins
(Although I'm sure there's a million technical reasons preventing this 😂)

Well, in that case the threshold would be harder to meet. For the joystick just needs to be MOVED for it to register.

Interesting, it might even different for different people then because it's very specific for me and the bar disappears if the movement is slightly off-horizontal. Interesting 😀

Wiggling is baby easy on console. It has a threshold, don't tornado the freakin joystick, just turn it at grandma speed.

But alternate buttons like PC would be better. L1/R1 for example
  • Love Myers, because he causes tension and fear!

Whilst camping is obviously not against any rules, it's tedious gameplay. Just saps the fun and energy out of a game

Actually it can be quite refreshing after a long and frustrating chase to relax in front of a hook, accepting that you cannot win everygame due to the balance and just waiting to go in the next game

Haha, I've not once felt that whilst being camped in a year and a half 😂
  • I'd fully welcome a rework of his core ability. He's SO unfun to play against. Invisible= free hit. Then bloody aura reading.
  • DCs. Both killers and sore loser teammates
  • Whilst camping is obviously not against any rules, it's tedious gameplay. Just saps the fun and energy out of a game
  • I completely agree. I'll be the first to admit, I SUCK at killer. Terrible. Played today for a daily (probably the 4/5th time I've played killer) and even the survivors took pity on me..... anyway I PIPPED. I couldn't believe it, I only hooked one of them after finding them in a locker and managed to hit them 3 times (each time I lost them and they healed).

It's so difficult to get good emblems as a survivor, and seems insanely easy as killer.

I can't stress enough how bad I suck at killer

  • Interesting point. Personally, I'd love to see some variation in layout. Even maybe internal walls/rooms. Variation prevents predictability

  • Just in DBD's defence, Myers still gives me that nervous, heart in throat horror every time. He still scares me even after this amount of time

  • I think by the name "camping" it implies you stay put WAITING for something to happen. If they're there already, you're not camping
  • I think it's give and take. The "wiggle" when caught is definitely harder on a control
  • The $10 ones are only the "super cool" skins for each character though-  there are lots of cheaper ones available. I do think the uniqueness of these $10 skins warrants the price tag, to keep them rarer in the game. If everyone ran them, they'd soon become common and less special
  • Personally, I love Unbreakable, but I don't run it because, as people have mentioned, it's quite rare you actually get to use it. If the activation time was reduced slightly, far more viable.
  • Invisible, aura-reading Freddy. Simply a mechanic that just isn't fun to play against. My heart sinks when I hear that lullaby.
  • <font color=#4DD1CC> This is coooool! (Hope this works xD )
  • I dont like the entire concept of closing the hatch. A survivor needs HOPE to make the game interesting- if not, why not just disconnect?!
My suggestion instead of closing the hatch:
    * Survivors can't be grabbed jumping into the hatch.
    * Survivors receive exposed status if within audio range of the hatch.
    * Cannot crawl into the hatch within 10 seconds of entering the dying state.

On a side note, I personally think survivors shouldn't be REWARDED for using the hatch- it should be an emergency exit. My suggestions:
    * No bonus escape points for using the hatch.
    * 25% normal survived points
*Killer gets a nominal amount of points for "forcing" a hatch escape.

This way, it's not a positive option- it's a way of saving your items and scraping a few survival points.

There's probably a million reasons why this wouldn't work, just a suggestion :)
  • At the moment, wait times. PS4 player for about 15 months, it's EXCRUCIATING waiting for games right now. :( 25 mins and not one yet
  • I'd like to see stealth rewarded more.
I assume the Evader category is there to stop survivors hiding from the action entirely.
I'd like to see stealth points linked to objective points. Reward stealth WHILST completing objectives
