SWF is absolutely destroying this game for solo-queue.
It's still bad with killer too, but admittedly it's not as bad as it was before the update, but in the process, solo queue has been absolutely victimised.
I tried a few games solo queue to see what was going on and oh my god, RIP
Alright, what do you want them to do? Ban playing with friends? You do that all you going to get is people lobby dodging till they get their friends.

The killer who can literally one shot everyone... We worried he's not good enough now?

First of all, my MMR is not inflated, it is the MMR the game put me at, even with Wesker that i have just bought, after winning some games i'm now facing strong loopers games after games.
I cannot win a single one, i'm in a huge loose streak since the patch (just some garbage win here and there tunneling) but playing as usual, withotu tunneling, i cannot win.
Even 3 gens do not last long enough.
As always, the side that can abuse broken things use them and now all lobbies are full of BNP, toolboxes with addons, Resilience and Prove Thyself.
Every killers beside nurse and blight cannot do anything now against good players.
Not mentionning the base kit BT/SB that is now way too strong in the current META.
The killer cannot do anything :
- gen regression ? doesn't work
- slug ? doesn't work
- 3 gens ? doesn't work
- tunneling ? sometimes work
Honestly what the hell is this patch ?
Got some videos or something cause I just have trouble seeing it right now.
-
I'm a survivor main but what I tend to notice is that sometimes the killer just over commits. They spend way to much time chasing that one guy leaving the rest of us to smash gens.
-
@tippy2k2 said:
Because the game is clearly toast and they have no desire to sit there for 10 minutes waiting for you two to hammer the gens and leave. It sucks for everyone but let's just move on to the next match.
More often than not, I will let the survivors do that but I've certainly had times where I just said F it and wanted to just move on at that point.
I know I have no right to get a free walk but come on a couple gens just so I can get something for my time. When they go balls to the walls when we already down two it just.. bit of an overkill
-
Wesker, I have yet to play against one that wasn't a tosser .

They kill skull merchant?

After hooking a survivor, I leave the hook (so someone comes to rescue) and patrol the nearby area until the survivor is unhooked then I immediately return back to hook to tunnel. I'm finding it's the best strategy since when I tunnel, the unhooker often follows the hooked survvior around to protect them, so I am occupying the time of 2 survivors. The unhooker also usually gives me a free hit, which saves more time. The closer the survivor is to death hook, the more survivors will come to protect the survivor. It isn't unusual for there to be 2 protectors, so I am literally occupying the time of 3 survivors at once and also getting free hits on all of them. I still end up tunnelling the survivor to death no matter what, so I am also removing a survivor from the game, which reduces all action speeds by 25%. After I hook the survivor on death hook, there will usually be a protector survivor nearby, so I literally get to start a new chase on an injured survivor immediately.
You looking for a high five or something?
-
Wouldn't be so bad if killers didn't go so hard even after a DC. I've had a game where two people dc and the killer still slugged for that 4k.
Brah

Pinhead, there is nothing less fun then playing against a pinhead who knows box locations
-
Not a fan of strong women huh? Ahah

Going against a three gen champ, those gen already take forever

@TOFFU said:
So i will camp on 5 gen with gen blocking perks as i have no more reason to leave hook and kick gen as well as no reason to down other surv and get pain res.
So i camp 1 man then 2 man.
Survs are reason this will go live
Killers cant regress , dont get reward for chase . Only thing killer gets from chase is bully from pallets and bodyblocks
Regress perks dead
Hex perks dead
Scourge hook perks dead
What choice is left ....
And this is different then what I normally face how?
-
@TOFFU said:
At least give us choice to play vs SWF or not ... I dont want to play unfair games....
If both sides play perfect survs will allways win ,- thats what called surv sided balance
As a survivor main I'm down with that as long as we get to pick what killers we would like to play against too

I want both sides to be treated equal, which i am not seeing. Lately its been 1 killer perk after another one thats been destroyed to the point of no usage. This has not happened to a single survivor perk yet.
No not give me iron will or spine chill. I still see both of those a lot in my games and both of them are very usable and good perks.
Idk I see those killer perks used a few times in games. Are they strong as they were? No but killers in this game tend to be a bit dramatic and claim any nerf makes that perk less then useless

He is, he is oppressive but not exactly strong.
Basically better variant of pig.
According to that last data post wasn't he one of the best killers in the game? Yeah seal team six might cakewalk him but come on do all survivors have to be compared to a full stack of top tier swfs

Pinhead is weak?!

Lately survivors have been just giving up at a much higher rate lately. Anybody else experiencing this?
I’d say 65ish percent of the time, the first person I hook just drops themselves, causing a domino effect of quitters.
I even changed killers from blight to see if that was the issue; and nope, survivors still giving up and quitting. I’ve started slugging anybody who tries to give up early on as a way to discourage it. Why even Que up if you’re just going to quit on your team?
Props to the survivors that put up a fight regardless of the situation.
I don't condone it but God do I understand, nothing fun about playing a pinhead for example who knows all box locations. Or playing a bubba who just camps.
-
I have spawned in the killers terror numerous times a night and I've spawned in the killers view twice that I can think of
-
5 games and haven't won one... Those are rookie numbers I've gone 17 games and not escaped one haha

The year is 2026 gen now take 5 minutes to complete. Killers still complaining about gens flying to quickly

This isnt a Survivor exclusive issue, nor is it an issue exclusive to Dead by Daylight
All multiplayer games suffer from this, and everyone knows this. Posts like these only serve to antagonize the other side, and its getting old
I disagree with asking to stop making posts like this because they are fun to read.
I do agree with that it isn't just a survivor thing. I got killer hitting my body on hook and I asked why the bm. He's like you brought flashlight so if you don't play nice I don't. Got the same thing later but the guy was calling me a try heard cause I brought a tool kit. You can't make these people happy.

Not quite. Gens are 90 seconds, tier 3 self care vs Sloppy takes 80 something
You bring self care I'm going to assume you are throwing hahah

Well of all the perks that killers would complain about... Yeah I didn't think it would have been AMN

@NerfDeadHardPLZ said:
- Devs will give love to m1 killers
- Devs will remove Dead Hard or nerf it to the ground
- Devs will nerf Medkits/Toolboxes and COH
- Killers will destroy blessed totems once they snuff them
- Gens will have constant repair speed ( no more gen rushing perks )
- Corrupt Intervantion pre nerf will become basekit
- Every Hex totem will have second life by default, undying will add 3rd
- Cleansing tottem will require 30 seconds, same as blessing
- Opening End game doors will immeditaly regress to 0% if they are not opened within 5 seconds of being touched
When Devs start maining killer and get good at it, they will realise all the problems the game have
Wait so if I get scared off door I got to restart the whole thing. Brah?

Everyone in post-chat likes to complain if/when they get tunneled, and treat you like the worst human being on earth. Here's a question that should hopefully challenge your conceptions about the game: why is it wrong to tunnel?
Tunneling is objectively the most optimal way to play the game, because the pressure is split amongst 3 people instead of 4, and it makes a 1 or 2 gen remaining scenario mathematically winnable. One downside of tunneling (if you wanna call it that) is that one survivor in particular isn't having fun being targeted.
Now, here's the thing, and this comes down to the anecdotal. Every time I'm playing a killer below B-tier, and I decide to play "fair" and not tunnel, I'll typically get 2-3 outed, maybe even a 4 out with bodyblocks, and I will get mass teabags at the exit gate. This is a massive slap in the face; the survivors are openly being toxic against a killer who didn't use the tactic that most consider the holy grail of toxicity. This provides me (as well as other people) with an added incentive to tunnel - if a higher chance to to win wasn't already enough.
It can be argued that playing optimally (or being "sweaty") when the people on the other side aren't doing so is toxic. However, how do you establish how a group of survivors intends to play? If you figure out too late that they're not messing around, the game may already be lost, with the last 3 gens being on opposite corners and the survivors being on first hooks. Even thus, it can also be argued that most survivors nowadays are learning to play the game in a very optimal way by default.
So again, in the current state of DBD, why is it so wrong to tunnel? Survivors certainly aren't shy about splitting up on gens across the map, doing 4 different ones on 4 different corners of the map, as well as bringing loads of second chance perks, and stacked medkits, and BNP toolboxes, and taking hits. If it's okay for survivors to play as optimally as possible, why is it looked down upon for the killer to do so?
According to the devs you are free to tunnel but don't expect survivors to shower you with praise for your chosen tactics.
It's effective but scummy, like camping in a corner or spamming fireballs. Yeah gratz....you won... Good for you.

Why this game doesn't have a concede button baffles me to no end

Just got done playing a match against a Deathslinger. At first he slugged for the 4k which is pretty typical nowdays and he patrolled near the body . Then when he saw i wasn't coming he hooked the guy and i tried to find the hatch. He found it first and instead of closing it to start the EGC he stood in it and waited for me to come to it. I then stood by the exit gate as many survivors usually do when this happens. This went on for at least 25 minutes essentially holding me hostage in a game he already WON just because he wanted extra points. I got tired and came to him and then he closed hatch and procedeed to slug me to death. I already did an ingame report and opened a support ticket. Does BHVR usually do anything in cases like this or do they just ignore it? No killer deserves a free kill and no survivor deserves a free escape but this is well beyond the point of normal gameplay. He could easily close hatch and come straight to the exit gate to catch me since there was only one exit gate which i could feasibly be in.
My brother don't complain about killer bm here. This is only a complaining about survivor bm board

This ^
The hate for slugging is irrational at its core. I’d always rather be slugged than hooked. There are multiple benefits to being slugged of which there are none to being hooked.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion but yours is just nutz. /jk
Any game I would rather just get hooked. Hey killer! You won! Gold Star! Now can we all just get to another game , I've got limited time play and you treating other players like a boy treats ants with a magnifying glass is killing the the time I've got so lets just get this over with.

Deal, as long as I get something that prevents survivors from suffering killers bm like sluggin to bleed out

Because in this game a good survivor team will lose 5 matches in 1000 played, if they get unlucky RNG that's it, everything else is skill issue on survivor side why they losing
Any evidence of this? Or is this a trust me bro, kinda thing?

Its called skill gap on survivor side my friend
But if all these killers are apparently fighting seal team 6 I was wondering who I'm playing against. Also it's always hey survivors won well they got super perks and items. Killer 4ks well that's just skill issue dafuq

These killer mains hahah. They are like o the killer is an innocent bystander in this they didn't want to 3 gen it just happened.
-
I'm on like a 4 game losing streak right now. Someone tell those killers they are supposed to be crap and let me go.

I think it's one of the those grass is always greener thing. Play some survivor and I swear there isn't a pallet any where on some maps

you think that might turn into a popularity contest?
Every killer would be polled weak if the forum is any indicator. Kills isnt the best way to balance but im not sold on anything else right now
-
Going to sound trolly and snarky but I do hope they nerf dh I want to see the next why I didn't 4k perk
-
Buffing the guy who can take me from health to dead in one shot...
-
God I hate Wesker aside from Pinhead he's my least favorite to face. I hate everything from his goofy run to his stupid vacuum grab to the fact he won't shut up. That office quite works well.
If I had a gun with two bullets, and I was in a room with Hitler, bin-Laden, and Wesker, I would shoot Wesker twice.
-
Grasses always greener? I had 5 matches to night 4 were 4ks. We don't know anything till they give us someone data

I don't want this to get to complex. Ghostface for example would be very annoying if I had to solve a damn puzzle while working on gens

Vital? You use that word but I don't think you know what it means

You can ask 3 killer mains that question and get 4 different opinions

Killers are trying to mess with you, there is a sound but it's not like a sonic boom that some people here are hinting at. It's really easy to miss that sound on a gen for example. Best counter for spooky boy is looking for that shimmer if you can get a flashlight he's got burn too.
-
Sorry man CoH is one of the best counters to three geners
-
Well lose a few and come down here with me, I see killers get 4k about 5 or 6 times /10 . No survivors use dead hard or run much gen rushing ( might get a pt or something). Eruption right now is seen maybe every 4 or 5 match/ 10 and I can't remember the last time I saw someone tea bag at exit. You get the ######### killer but it's the exception than the rule. IDC what people say low mmr is kinda nice
