Decisive Strike is getting nerfed i believe this upcoming midchapter patch and they're still working on changes to hatch to prevent hatch standoff so we just have to deal with it for now.

I see what you mean with the perks, there needs to be changes to these perks. Sadly though there will always some selection of best perks in the game cause of the competitive scene

I don't want this thread to get de-railed, with the whole thread revolving around just those two or three perks. So I'll just let it be. The above mentioned things are a much bigger problem than those perks right now.

But camping and tunneling can be countered without swf, if you go for the save and see the survivor getting camped, just leave and go do gens, and with tunneling my counter to it was stated above, unless you're stating that he is camping AND tunneling then yes i agree there is no counter. The "going for a weaker target" is a good point you bring up that i did not mention myself. Do you care to elaborate with why bbq & chilli and self-care are fine as they are? Also i have forgotten to bring up gen rushing which i will add my opinion on it to the list right now

i run ruin simply cause of the fact that it slows the game down. even if they work through it and can land great skill checks it doesnt give them the boost. And pretty much 100% of the time there is always 1 survivor who is going to try and find it. Even if it is found they are wasting their time getting rid of the hex while i chase survivors. These seconds count

- dont know, havent tried it yet
- its the same as a playing normal, every sound including survivor sounds are still available to you when using her power

Thats a good point, I mostly do that when i come across a legacy and a normal surv doing a gen, i also basically ignore teabagging object of obsession users at the start. I know they're just sitting at pallet town and not doing gens so i dont need to worry about him

I mainly tunnel in certain situations. When i hook someone i go patrol more gens but stay near the hook, about a few meters away from heartbeat trigger so i can come back. Generally if i find another person i will chase them, if not i go to the hook and if i find someone i chase them. But if i find the unhooker healing the hooked person, you bet your ass im gonna go for the injured one, It's simply picking off easy targets. In any situation really if i come across an injured and healthy survivor i will go for the injured one, it isn't just when someone got off the hook. Which is why i prefer to call it "securing a kill". The only time a survivor really has a right to "complain" (quotation marks because even then they shouldn't complain cause they helped their team and got lots of boldness points) is if they managed to successfully loop you the entire game, You need to know when you're tunneling too hard. To sum it all up, ignore it. tunneling is a good strategy if you do it right, the survivor should of been thinking about what they could of done differently to not get caught in the first place or try to think of a better escape plan if caught, rather then just basically say you're not allowed to kill them yet.

To sum it up what basically annoyed me was how he kept going back and forward through gens and not giving chase to survivors, and even when he got 3 down he didnt bother to hook. If he simply went back to check then sure thats fine, but he just went back to keep knocking down the 3 gens and let all of us get back up to continue the cycle

he could of ended the game super early when 3 survivors were down but he just went back to the gens and sat on them, he wasnt trying to play the game until we actually managed to get close to completing them

thats not what im angry about, that was my exact thought process, my problem with it though is that he kept it up for an entire hour and just sat at the generators. Dont go getting angry assuming im just complaining about not winning, i doubled pipped from that match. he had multiple chances to hook survivors but he just went back to the generator. And whats with the harsh attitude? I'm not trying to start a fight, i play quentin and huntress almost equally. It's just sad that someone would go out of their way to spend an entire hour just sitting on a generator

He occasionally managed to down someone, but he didnt hook them, he just went back to the generator. because of this 2 people bled out. i got hooked cause the nurse FINALLY gave chase to me, the last guy did the gen and got out

To be fair i didnt really think much of it. I thought it was fair game, he was defending the 3 generators in the middle and hitting us when we got near it and then ran back. My friend was getting pretty frustrated and the other 2 solos where pretty angry aswell. I started getting frustrated cause he kept this up for a full hour, we could not do anything cause he was playing nurse and could teleport to each generator. simply put it for about the first 10 minutes we did all the gens and cleared the area, then the next 50 minutes was us trying to do the last gen. What made it worse was that he had overcharge so he knew when we got back on gens occasionally
