I remember ranking up to be super easy but i've been having some troublesome games.In a recent game I had not been touched by the killer at all, did literally every gen, been chased at least once and pallet stun him once and healed at least 2 survivors. In a recent game i disconnected cause i was needed and i suppose it was urgent enough to warrant a dc from the game but it had me thinking wouldn't it be better if i just stayed afk in game? So i took a bit of a break playing dbd and when i came back it wasnt long before i came up against a ghostface. I dropped a pallet on him so he decided to go around the corner and do a lean stalk, he then managed to expose me and down me. Theres probably been faster people but damn i'd be lying if i said this wasn't close to a world record. I was skimming through the scoreboard pretty quickly so i only took one screenshot but as you all know you gain 1 xp every second in a match so if i got 174xp it took me exactly 2.9 minutes, roughly 3 minutes to down everyone and hook them. After my first few matches i find the power to be very fun to play with, I had a lot of moments where i was chaining hits which felt very nice. I've noticed theres been quite a lot of talk recently about ruin not actually being as powerful as people think, which i agree with. The question is which perk would be the better overall perk to slow down games. Im not gonna include perk combos that would make the main perk better like hex ruin + haunted grounds. I run Iron Will, Sprint Burst and Self Care but i cant decide what my 4th slot should be. Adrenaline is situational and can basically be a dead perk if you die early, but it has always gotten me out of nasty situations. It also wakes you up when against a freddy and pairs well with my sprint burst since it ignores exhaustion. Now today we just encountered another bug where a kate threw down a pallet on a trapper setting a trap, and then she couldnt move, the killer also couldnt pick her up, but eventually she bled out. Before i start dont get me wrong i like the change, having sprint burst pop twice in one chase is a pretty unfair thing to happen. I just want your opinions on how this will affect the meta? I recently have been getting a lot of bugs with dbd, first the game wouldnt actually close. the app itself would close but not on steam so i'd have to restart steam since i couldnt open it again since steam believed it was running when it wasnt. when i played the clown i noticed that even without throwing gas on the pallets i could easily get lunges despite survivors being at pallets, so i went to play survivor and noticed all sorts of points where i couldn't throw it down.
