Actually it does the higher u are in the ranks u earn a bonus and more bloodpoints

And the fact that you think this is true shows you're still a noob just like the ones you complain about LMAO 😂

  • Nothing is toxic except post game chat , if something in game has got you triggered that's on you. Nothing in game you can do is toxic unless you make yourself believe that and just because people have fun when they play doesn't make them a noob3 or ochido wanna be unless of course you get in chat with them and they try to talk like them too

  • @PiedPiper365 said:

Seriously why should we killers let new people live and lose a rank and let then gain a rank to face killers that they wouldn't stand a chance against??

Seriously I'm having fun I just got the demogorgon, and I'm rank 10 but there are times a go against rank 20 that's not my fault but u can bet I'm gonna kill them all unless they impress me whether it's making me laugh or make me like them. So y'all survs that keep complaining bout we shouldn't bully them well guess what nothing is going to change and we're not bullying them we are doing our job😁

I literally seen a thread about a killer that kept getting 4k and he was BULLIED bout it but he didn't let that bug him he laughed them off and commented back and I'm proud of the dude.

Jesus, this is what the forum has come to now... Acting like you're a god because you as a rank 10 can stomp a rank 20, I guess red rank survivors like myself should show no mercy and be as toxic as possible against you rank 10-20 low ranks just because we can right? I bet you try to pull your little killer rule book out when the roles are reversed and you get smashed and looped to infinity

Balanced Landing is downright broken when used properly on certain maps, but if you use it, Shelter Woods is exactly where you're going. Dead Hard is fantastic on all maps at all times.

Dead hard is too easy to bait to be the best exhaustion perk, you should've been around when exhaustion recovered in chase I would probably agree with you at that point and time, but right now Balanced Landing is a way better use of a perk slot and actually works when you want it to as oppose to Dead Hard where there are plenty of times it doesn't even activate and you get smacked

There are some multiplayer games that let you flip the bird. My head hurts too much today to remember them, but they exist.

Lol it would balance this game (joking) all because people would be too busy flipping the bird and no gens would be done!

It would certainly add clarity to the intent of the action! Lol

I mean why not? I would laugh more than be upset if I saw that in game and it's not a children's game , if you're allowing your kids to play the game you can't be upset at what happens because it was never intended for someone under 17 to play anyway and if you get mad at something that small God help you if you ever play red dead 2, GTA v , call of duty or any other game with far more toxicity than this one

You can say the same thing about raising a middle finger in America in real life. I mean, raising a finger is supposed to make me angry? How could someone moving their finger possibly be antagonistic?

The intent behind the gesture is what is important. People have adopted the simple raising of a finger to imply and convey certain negative things, and eventually people learn what the real message behind the action is.

So yeah, pointing can mean nothing, or it can be adopted by survivors, since they have so few ways to communicate in game, to mean something else entirely.

You're right, now I want a middle finger emote in the game , sounds amazing

  • @JawsIsTheNextKiller said:

After all the complaining by survivors that killers lobby dodge, have you noticed that survivors with pings of under 50 are lobby dodging now that they can see the ranks of their team mates?

    Double-standards.

Really? So with broke matchmaking ,e as a rank 1 should have rank 17-20 randoms on my team? No thanks I really don't enjoy someone quitting as soon as they get caught or just throwing down a pallet before the killer gets anywhere near because they think it will make them break it before they start a chase and don't even realize they alerted the killer(literally had someone do this and that was the answer I got)

  • I was playing with all red rank survivors last night and we kept getting rank 20 killers with nothing , I'm not sure what is going on at the moment but it was kinda funny at first , now on the other hand it's kinda boring when you have to go down on purpose to get decent points

  • @Mochan said:

The people who are suggesting to just straight nerf SWF (impossible actually as SWF doesn't have any actual game mechanics) and buff killers are usually just killer mains who don't know what they're talking about and just had a bad game (usually not even at the hands of SWF) so they are mad.

That's not to say SWF isn't a real problem, but it's blown way out of proportion. On the other hand, in the interest of advancing the game the reasonable suggestion in my opinion is to buff solo survivors with aura-read perks. For example, make Bond and Kindred baseline. Rework these perks (like Kindred could become a variant of Camaraderie where the rescuing survivor uses the perk and slows the hook down if he comes near the hook).

Then balance killer around the newfound perks. this levels the playing field a little between SWF and solo, making it less of an issue.

I still think giving survivors built in Bond and kindred will drastically buff SWF , an example let's say you're being chased and you're trying to explain where exactly you're at to your friend to flashlight, well with that buff they no longer have to go hunting in the direction you told them they can visualize better than you telling them, also so now instead of being cautious going to the hook having some sort of unknown on where exactly the killer is even when being told you know right where they are and can see what they're doing and they didn't even have to run a perk to make those things 10 times easier, people say those perks are useless but I know people who run those even in swf to make it easier on everyone just because you can tell your team one thing and the killer immediately do something different then what you said but when you can see exactly what's happening you have that much more information without sacrificing anything

  • @Xboned said:

The most sensible suggestions I've seen involve buffing solo survivors up to the level of SWF, then buffing killers up just so they don't fall behind.

Imho, SWF shouldn't be nerfed or removed, it should be embraced and balanced around.

It's extremely hard to do that correctly without buffing swf though, technically you're buffing survivors I thought the same thing before but in the end it only makes the survivors stronger and then we're in the same predicament with killers being slightly behind where they should be , at this point I'm starting to think the game is impossible to totally balance without one side or the other having too much power

  • That honestly surprises me , I figured ol bubba would feel like he's in a Nascar race with all the circles he gets ran in

  • @Kenshin said:

survivor, because its more fun and not stressful like killer, at least at high ranks.

Eh it really depends on what killer TBH , I don't find it hard to play spirit at high ranks

We don't ban for alt accounts unless they're being used for ban evasion. Everything else is down to the platform you are playing on (though if you have multiple profiles on a PS4, for example, that's well within the rules).

Ok I just wanted to make sure because I didn't want to get banned after I just bought all the dlc the other day

Do you use two or more forum accounts? If yes, you're going to get permanently banned because you are not allowed to own two accounts under any circumstance. However, if you only use your forum account, and yours only, then you're fine! 🙂

Would probably ask a moderator to clarify about your situation, here, I'll tag a wholesome person:

    @Rizzo90

Of course this is my only account I'm talking about on my game system if my son signs into his name and plays dead by daylight which I bought digitally on my name but it's shared between me and my family

I have a friend, give him a flash light and he will save you, Ochido was great at it, still is, and Noob3.

Well you must be lucky because anytime I see someone with a flashlight they try to save me, miss and then continue to try and blind a killer looking up right by the hook that just slugs them, hooks me in front of them down and doesn't leave , those things have caused me to die way more than saved me TBH

  • @moonlunn said:

If there’s an “infinite loop” with a perk I wouldn’t consider that an actual infinite loop there is a room in the new map that has 3 pallets and a top floor you can run up and vault off of so I can understand the how that room gets takes about a lot

Exactly my thoughts, also if they have a perk to counter it why nerf it ? If it were the other way around the killer would tell survivors to run the perk and "git gud", but there's a double standard and I'm not saying @Horus is that way but most killers want the game adjusted to where they could run any killer and never have to change loadout to deal with anything, to them its unbalanced that they have to change anything to gain a strong advantage over the survivors and I disagree with that , if you don't actively switch builds you deserve to get 4man escapes for being so basic 24/7 and thinking nobody can figure you out

  • @Horus said:

So i heard from multiple people and alot of dbd tubers that theres an infinite loop (also to many pallets but thats for a different thread) if you have balanced landing where the 3 pallets are

can any ptbers can confirm this and if this is true does it need to be subject to change?

Balanced landing allows you to run loops that otherwise wouldn't exist , if there's a pallet it's not an infinite because you can just disregard the pallet and it gets thrown and if it's a window just run bamboozle and it will shut them down .

A perk to run the loops and a counter perk that can shut them down , seems like a fair trade each uses a perk slot to make it happen and bamboozle is more useful because BL is situational and doesn't work on all maps and bamboozle does

  • @JawsIsTheNextKiller said:

I have seen plenty of posts that say, "If you can't loop you are trash", or "if you can't hit great skill checks you are trash" but realistically, there are plenty of players in the red ranks that can't loop or can't hide, or can't flashlight save etc. It doesn't make them bad. We just have different skills.

I played a solo game where two other solos both got facecamped and both held on for the entire 2 minute duration to let me and Claudette do the gens and escape. Those are the players I have the most respect for.

@JawsIsTheNextKiller Flashlights dont even work at red ranks, I see the occasional save but I've never watched someone just annihilate the killer over and over again with it

  • Run deliverance , ds, and adrenaline. Jump off the hook , d strike and run the killer until adrenaline pops

  • @terumisan said:

If they make claudette's clothes way brighter than sure since on certain maps she's literally invisible

She hasn't been invisible since they updated the lighting , if you still have trouble you may want to check your monitor settings

  • Gideons is already a good survivor map if you know how to run the tiles, bad survivors don't like it because they can't find ruin 5 seconds into the match , the only thing I will say is sometimes generator spawns are terrible and you will only have one upstairs gen sometimes forcing the killer to just stay downstairs and let the upstairs gen get done to couple them all in one area

  • I'm not being impatient I'm asking if we should even be expecting it this month coming up as they've said before or if this new announcement banner means it will be more like October, it's fair to speculate without being impatient

  • @Peanits said:

It's still August, not even September yet. There's still plenty of time.

To be fair, we do always say that you shouldn't count on trends. Just because a PTB comes shortly after a trailer one time doesn't mean it'll always be like that.

I realize this but I was asking if something was wrong because out of nowhere you guys just say no official time has been slated but announced before that it would be sometime in September, my question was has that changed or is sometime in September still to be expected without an exact date? I like many others are just curious because I don't want to get hyped for something that's gonna be more than a month away @Peanits I hope you understand what I'm trying to ask

  • That's why they made bamboozle and also the new demogorg perk , there are counters people just don't want to use them

  • You have to switch that to your primary and then switch it back to the other , it happens to me from time to time, I have 2 PS4 as well

  • Honestly the whole banning on the forums is a joke, people shouldn't get banned off here for having disagreements even if they do cross the line at times because these people care enough about the game to get upset arguing about it, the mods should just be there to tone things down when they get out of hand or delete threads that don't belong, and you're a prime example because you just admitted another account you had was banned but yet you're still here and even if they ban the one you have now you can just make another one and here you are making threads again

  • It's definitely possible if you're acting as a flashlighter while she's cashing someone else but doing while in a chase I damn near impossible, you have to burn her while she's charging a blink so the easiest time is when she swings and misses the survivor gains distance and she has to charge the blink longer to catch back up and if you're hiding in the area you can usually pull it off but be ready because you're now the main target

LOL you have no idea about nothing I do or don't in this game, or what I can or can't deal with

I'm commenting from a game design standpoint, which you clearly know nothing about.

You only would have a problem with the design if you couldn't beat it , otherwise you wouldn't complain so again git gud

*insert stock Survivor answer of* "Use THIS perk the developers shoved in the game to band aid fix a bad game mechanic that may or may not help you at all, and/or play THIS specific Killer. Otherwise, LULZ GET REKT!"

It's not my fault you aren't as good as you thought and need this forum to change your diapers for you, out of all the maps you want to complain about ironworks and the ONE window in the building, why? So you can get a 4k without thinking ? The strode house is the only thing that needs changed, ironworks complaining is you being a sore loser

Dude, there is counterplay. I USE THE DAMN COUNTERPLAY ALL THE TIME.

That doesn't mean it's good design, that doesn't mean it's valid or healthy gameplay, and that doesn't mean it has to stay the same.

    Stop being willfully ignorant.

Stop crying because you refuse to get better , all I hear is I'm done adapting and need my hand held , grow up

  • @gantes said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/637828#Comment_637828

No chase should be unwinnable or close to it for either side.

It's not unwinnable, exhaustion doesn't recover while sprinting anymore and you have bamboozle to block windows off , spirit to mindgame, and nurse ignores windows , there is valid counterplay but the same people will ignore it and complain because they actually have to use their brain to play and not be a zombie pressing m1 over and over

  • @JovialCub said:

So, you think that not respecting pallets as killer is "Bad Game Play".

    You're fired, NEXT!

And there you are proving my point , the fact that killers dont respect one of the only true defenses a survivor has in a chase speaks volumes, im not saying that having disregard for the pallets is bad gameplay I'm saying that eating the pallets and not getting a hit in absolutely is bad gameplay there's no other way to see it ... You got stunned had to break the pallet and they got more distance on you because you made a mistake , killers should have some sort of respect for a pallet because it's one of the few defenses offered to survivors and having gens pop on you while eating pallets isn't good gameplay and I actually think while a survivor is injured they should have a debuff because people don't run fast when Injured that doesn't make sense in a game like this

  • @Locker_Monster said:

    ...No?

Imagine this on slower Killers like Nurse.

Sometime eating a pallet is not a 'bad play' but a gamble; you assume you can lunge and hit the Survivor.

Sometime you down them. Sometime you down them AND eat a pallet. Sometime you just eat pallet.

Lowering the Killer's move speed FOR THE MATCH is bad. No.

The nurse is the last person that should be eating pallets of any killer on this game, if you eat pallets as the nurse something is wrong with the way you're playing her

  • That's only works if survivors choose to cleanse otherwise it's just like any other m1 killer

  • Injured because the killer had you in their grasp

  • Or you could just cleanse all five totems instead of wasting time doing three just to leave the others alone, my only argument to this is that the killer can still use the movement speed and one shot ability unless ALL the totems are gone and leaving even one or two up could be what causes a teammate or two to be sacrificed if there's a chase in progress or you don't have the totem cleansed fast enough before the killer gets to someone , it's a decent idea but I'd rather know 100% that NOED isn't there
