The moment they fix these, they'll have to deal with Nurse's balance and that's not a conversation they're ready to have, when they can barely release a functional patch.
They should have some insensitive to fix them because clearly they only care about the bugs that give advantages so I'm hoping they take a look into these bugs and actually fix all of them this time, I know they fixed the looking upwards while fatiguing bug, but some of these bugs have been in the game for actual literal years and in particular its the ones that I see every game as Nurse that I really wish they would fix or at least give some indication they listen.
-
I don't think she should have that speed, but I do agree that the bugs should be fixed bhrv still hasn't listened to any feedback Nurse mains gave and all the bugs that were listed still haven't even been mentioned. I honestly would say maybe just maybe if everyone made enough threads they will finally do something to fix the bugs, like every time an update or patch comes out I check the patch notes hoping they fix at least one of the bugs, but that isn't the case ever. ill never forget the disappointment when I found out that they got rid of the bug that made one of Nurse's addons stack speed and didn't bother to fix anything else while they were at it, the second blink bug is still in the game after how long?
-
I own all the killers and survivors, my main killer is Nurse and my main survivor is Feng.
You can main as many as you want, I honestly play a lot of the other killers, but I say Nurse is my main because it's the killer I feel like I'm the best at using.
-
Nurse is the embodiment of bugs at this point, I'm still unhappy that they only patched out the one glitch that helped her and left the rest of the bugs.

They most definitely are trash. I am a 1000 hour nurse main- she has 4 addons that are useful.
I don't understand why people are hating on Nurse again, it's silly that they are bringing up the same argument as last time even with Nurse so toned down. The worst part is that people pretend to know all about Nurse like they actually spent the time to play her, saying things like the addons are all super good and pretending like the addon list isn't bloated with meme addons that serve no purpose other than fill up a slot. :(

Did you just say nurse add ons are trash ? 🤣
not going to lie there are only 4 addons that are worth it for me personally, most others are just meme addons or too situational to bother with, plenty of Nurses have spoken in the past about this, but the addons for Nurse were very toned down and are awful.

He kinda still is. Overheat isn't nearly as big of an issue as people like to make it seem. It's more the janky biggy animations. Which you don't even notice after awhile. And no more instant saw. He's still a very very strong killer
Yeahh.. I don't know about that one, I have only seen 1 hillbilly after the rework and honestly, the match didn't turn out that well for him, you can basically just stick around window loops and as long as you don't run out of pallets you have no threat from his chainsaw because of how easy it is to dodge since dedicated servers came around. Honestly, I have seen bubba get more chainsaws than hillbilly it used to be the other way around, but bubba is now the stronger of the two lol.
-
I would cry because it would probably make Nurse even buggier to play than before, and honestly, they would probably give her the same treatment as a poor hillbilly and nobody will ever play her again which I doubt most people here would care because they want to face weaker killers.
-
I am torn between a new cute Nurse skin and a new spooky Nurse skin, because I do wanna be fashionable and be able to dress up cute, but at the same time do I want to look scary because I'm the killer? Decisions decisions. x-x

@DoomedMind said:
I think people have to play him like Nurse :
You put your gateway just next to the survivor, immediately face him and shoot the chain. Every PinHead I saw put their gateway too far (imo) from me, so with a good 360 it's easy to dodge, but if the gateway it just in front of me...
Now that I think about it, PinHead is excellent to practice before playing Nurse, maybe.
It's really weird playing pinhead as a Nurse player, I tried to go into him with that mindset, but the gateway is really clunky on console and awful to position. I have had more luck placing the portal towards where the survivor is heading than on top of them. Just because sometimes the chain sometimes just veers off in the wrong direction at close range without letting me control it at all and other times that isn't the case, it is very unreliable for me at least.
-
I use dead hard all the time on survivor its my favorite survivor perk because it simply makes me feel like I have a third health state and when I get injured I am not afraid at all. Its not the most balanced perk in my opinion it is very very strong. I only really use it because when I try other things my I usually don't last as long, I only play solo so hopefully, I will get better teammates from the new system so I don't have to rely on myself.
-
I don't really want to play that many matches / I don't really have that much time for playing and I just wanted to show what happened from the new system, other people can go into it in more detail.

By the looks of it you got two hooks and either a Mori or a trap kill. I can't imagine why you deranked though. 3k on a killer you haven't played before with 0 perks is actually pretty good.
I had a bit of trouble slowing down the game, I just feel like I only really got 3 kills because they got too aggressive with gens as well as the fact I got a trap kill. Someone escaped as soon as I opened the gate and I forced them out. I definitely should practice more on pig, I don't really know what perks are good on her or if I should spend the bloodpoints at moment on getting pig to lvl 50. Thank you for the compliment though I really appreciate it, I was mainly seeing what I would be matched with since I never really used pig even though I had her.

Yeah I really hope they will make it possible someday, I'm kind of tired of all the issues that are console specific I already have a PC and I only really play console nowadays to do dead by daylight when I feel like it, but honestly, all the problems occurring just really ruin my enjoyment so I haven't really been playing as much.

They’re going to fix him.
Play against him and you’ll see his potential. Max out his perks- they’re pretty good. Give yourself time to learn him.
It's not even about not being able to learn him, he is just plain broken on console the new update doesn't work with last generation consoles. :c
-
Never mind, I just played against a killer that wasn't pinhead, its nemesis all over again. whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
-
He is really unfun like people were saying he was kind of like Nurse, but I'm not seeing it at all, it is incredibly hard to aim the hooks on console the base turn rate is actually horrendous, and his abilities just in general are underwhelming. ill wait until he gets some buffs, then try him again.

You don't want this game to balanced. got it
Wow, thanks for twisting my words, really can count on people on dead by daylight forums to be toxic in every capacity. :)
How does saying my worries = don't like balance, I don't get you, people, at all? Its honestly one of my biggest dislikes about this community, they always disregard other's opinions all the time because they want to be right, but they can't comprehend that sometimes other people don't want to make the game swf oriented and love the surprise and random nature of games. But no you want to make this less random and more know everything all the time. and people agree with you is the funny part, is there nobody that enjoys the random nature?
-
Nurse
-
There are already perks in the game that help survivors coordinate better with teammates not to mention swf, if pinging was added into the game it would break the game because no doubt the unknown aspect would be destroyed because you could spam pinging to alert the other survivors that the killer is chasing you or to locate where all the survivors are on the map. Even if it wasn't just see through the walls pinging it would still not be as good as just simply bringing perks that already do that. :c
This isn't one of those games, it's an asymmetrical horror game, not an fps or a team vs team game and why change something like that when the current product works just fine in it. I much prefer not knowing exactly what's happening it adds a degree of randomness that without the game just turns simple and basically just distracts killer every game to delay time. I wanna have hard endgames and have moments of uncertainty whether or not I should focus on gens or go save the person who is hooked I don't like swf, for this reason, it makes the game simple and boring. (Though I can still enjoy swf because it's fun to play with friends every once in while.) :)

It was so funny I was like oops I deadharded behind some rocks, guess ill get beat up, but the poor Demogorgon was so confused. x-x

Because he allows survivors to be active during a chase. Killers like clown or slinger just require the survivor to not think and do the most effective tactic.
Billy requires you to be on your toes constantly and is very threatening due to his one shot if you mess up. Even with all that he still doesn’t feel unfair though
This makes me a bit sad though, I don't think I have seen a billy for months since his rework I kinda miss him. :C

If you’re consistently countering nurses those aren’t good nurses you’re fighting.
Also she’s the most fun killer to be chased by for you not everyone enjoys having little to no I put in their chase
To be honest, I have to agree with Orion on this, it is way easier I noticed for people who play Nurse to counter Nurse players. Even I have had trouble and instantly can tell who knows about Nurse's weaknesses because they actively play into that and know how to counter you by either denying you information feeding you false information or skillfully denying you hits when you should have gotten them because they read you. :)
For me going against nurses are much easier to do because I play Nurse and know how to play into Nurse's weaknesses if more people knew or played Nurse this wouldn't be an issue of her being too powerful in the eyes of many. In my personal opinion yes there are super great Nurse players, but the vast majority are just average and aren't all-knowing they can be countered you just need to know what to counter them with. :)

"Can you not like chases that don't involve the running in circles genuine question."
Not in Dead By Daylight, considering the chase involves looping and always has.
"Also, the chases in this game have never always been about pallet looping, it is just something the player base added to the game and the devs expanded on it."
The community figured it out near enough week 1. It's always been in the game.
"Also, there are killers the circumvent pallet looping and they still have chases that don't involve running around constantly."
And they don't chase. I main Pyramid Head, one of these anti-pallet killers, because I don't enjoy the chase, I enjoy the feeling of power from the total beatdown completely in my control.
" Like do you not consider a trapper running a survivor into their trap to be chasing? Or a hag trap as chasing, a lot of killers are too slow to run around in circles that's why they have unique powers to circumvent that weakness."
Trapper is a default M1 killer who gets looped. He chases.
Hag doesn't chase. There are no chases vs Hag, that's her entire power. Set up a Web and win. All 110 and slower killers do not chase survivors because they can't be looped with the exception of Trickster.
My comment was deleted first by me backspacing the tab and by the forums taking away my comment. x-x Gaaaaah what I was trying to say was sorry if I sound really confusing and a bit dumb I am still waking up it seems. I didn't mean to make it sound like pallet looping doesn't exist I more meant to say its an option in a chase at least in my personal opinion. :) I view chases more in like the beginning when a killer finds a survivor and the time the killer either hits or downs a survivor, I view pallets, vaults, and mind games as options to extend chases as well as perks. The reason I love Nurse is she is able to more so if you can use Nurse correctly take a lot of the sureity out of pallets and vaults. It's more of a mind game killer because you have to place yourself into the survivor's mindsets like I usually when I play Nurse have to figure out the playstyle of each and every survivor, some survivors have the same style while others prefer doing different thingies. It's all about making lightning-fast decision making off of those playstyles and mind gaming the survivor into playing into your hands. :)

But that's the whole reason why some of us find her fun her unique playstyle and the way she completely changes the game is what I enjoy about Nurse, I love chases and it makes it so fun to out position survivors to like get into the survivor's mind and beat them up. >:)
I honestly never liked the pallet running in circles I can't for the life of me enjoy it so I always played Nurse in fact Nurse was the first killer I got into because I loved the idea of the ability it was really hard, but really really fun even when I lost. The nurse was also the first killer I P3'd and I still play Nurse even now. :)

dont know why you are getting your panties in a knot, my answer is legit, its nurse, you dont even need perks with her so use whatever you want or use nothing at all, if you know how to play nurse perks matter little

was maining Nurse for a while, I have like 200-300 hours on her, if you are new to her I would suggest running corrupt, pop goes the weasel, sloppy butcher and bbq. it makes you learn things because if you don't land blinks you won't get value out of your perk (except corrupt, but it's mandatory imo). and when you get semi good at her, I would run something like corrupt, undying, ruin, tinkerer (imo it's the sweatiest build you can have as Nurse). the startruck thing is funny and really decent sometimes, but I think it's pretty niche while playing against rly good players, which you get once in a while
Thank you very much I will definitely have to try a lot of these at least once to see if I enjoy them, yeah Nurse was the first killer I played when I started in like mid-2018 I believe I don't quite remember when, but I really enjoy the way she plays. Yeah, but when it works it works really well adds a lot of pressure when survivors get overconfident. :)

I honostly have nothing original...I use Corrupt, Pop, Ruin, BBQ. Its funny because i can land my blinks when i want to now for the most part and dont need the slow down i dont think. But at the same time i never feel confident when playing her. Even if i dont miss a single blink
I don't think I have ever tried that combo on Nurse, is it good? Typically I don't really prioritize the gens which is silly, but it's how I play. x-x Honestly that's okay, I honestly feel like Nurse takes a lot of effort even once you mastered her and I still feel as though each game that I'm not super confident in my blinks, and I pretty much exclusively play Nurse so you arent the only one so don't feel bad. :)
-
I play solo the majority of the time you do tend to get survivors who arent really about the team aspect, especially since the challenges came into the game, I've noticed that some survivors prioritize getting their challenge done and I can't really fault them for that. In reality, there is a lot of factors involved that you can't get from just seeing statistics. :)

They still could balance around the top 1%. It'd just make the game feel worse for solos but that's probably what you're on about.
I agree that you can't balance DbD around the top 1% without absolutely hurting the games overall health and this isn't even needed. DbD is no hardcore competitive e-sports game and that's fine. People need to be a bit more chilled an stop thinking that DbD is the new League of Legends or CS:GO and just accept that this is not a tournament worthy game, even though there are tournaments for... amusement I assume... held.
What you could do though is that you can bring solos closer to the level of coordination SWFs would be capable of and then adjust the killers/survivors accordingly to that. This would narrow the gap of the top 1% and the average match making. This again would make your average solo survivor team a bit stronger while also making killers a bit stronger against sweaty SWFs which then again would make killer less frustrating to play and in return there would probably be more people playing killer which would lower the Q time for survivors.
I think that's a reasonable request to make and it would benefit killers as well as solo survivors.
I exclusively play solo the majority of the time as a survivor, I really don't want to have what you have when you play swf like with aura reading and all that, I like the random nature of each match not knowing where everyone is and where the killer is. I enjoy bringing in perks to help me find more information or deciding if I want to be better in chases. You take out all the choices and planning, you leave a lot of perks useless, like what's the point of strategizing if you are just going to simplify it for every game. It's more boring if you make every match swf level swf is boring and sucks the fun out of the game for me. :c
