There's no harm in waiting to see if a sale happens.
Maybe just buy Elodie now & then wait to see if the others go on sale.

I forgot to mention it when it was relevant but I love Clown's Anniversary mask, π very nice.
And I'm endlessly excited for the prestige rewards & bulk spending we'll be getting in the future.
I just... Can't help but feel like something's missing *checks pockets* oh! I'm broke! π°βοΈ π
Please give Clown a Antidote attack score event π€‘ π

Doubt it. Recent Rework have all been a bunch of small changes. Trickster rework was just a bunch of small changes. Only time a killer really had a rework that changes the power entirely was Freddy but that was long ago. At most weβre getting snares + pallets and teleporting to completed gens
Skull Merchant's rework completely changed her power
She went from having the yellow exposure radius to scan lines.
And then a scan line. π

I'm really hoping they just give us original Freddy back.
BHVR's strategy of making an obvious mistake & then committing to it for years is mind numbingly upsetting.
The only issue Original Freddy had was the 50% gen repair slowdown while asleep. All they had to do was decrease that to make survs stop complaining.
Wouldn't mind keeping the teleport though.
-
Honestly Chucky at release was fine, the singular issue he had was being able to Slice & Dice after a manual pallet scamper.
Also that window bug that let him hold Slice & Dice, but that wasn't intentional.
-
Dude, if they don't want us changing our graphic options, we definitely ain't getting M&K options.
This game doesn't even have basic controller support yet.
Console players have been making noise about this since the official forum opened, BHVR doesn't care.
-
"What's going on with the Xbox version of the game, does it still take almost 10 minutes to boot up"?
"Who cares, lets give Discord users free chapters"!
At least they're not making people race for the codes like last time.

Has anybody at BHVR explained what made them believe midday maps were a good idea?
The groggy early morning vibes original Coldwind had were immaculate, I still don't understand why it was changed.
Also getting flashbanged by Eyrie of Crows is incredibly frustrating.
Like why is it so bright?????

A pop-up would be nice yes, but the whole point of Solidarity is to make healing more efficient.
Healing isn't efficient when you have to try and convince your ally to let you heal them first.
Just have the perk grant progress to whoever the healer is, and cap the amount that can be granted. It's simpler that way.
It's not simpler that way
Nerfing the amount of healing from 70% to 50% and then reworking the perk's effect would require more time & resources than making the pop up.
Also, in-game, bad players are always going to be inefficient. It doesn't matter if there's a pop up or if they get the 50% healing instead of you.
Nerfing Solidarity because stubborn people exist is a bad idea.
-
It just needs to pop up the same way We'll make it does.
No reason for it not to.

If I remember correctly DBD Mobile already has this feature and it works with Huntress's Lullaby.
Obviously they'll have to implement their own version, but seeing how we still don't have visible perks on the loading screen I think it's safe to say they're not up to it.
I wonder what grudge BHVR has against DBD Mobile that they continuously refuse to make use of their good ideas.
I think the only way we're getting this is if the deaf community organizes a call out. π’

In my haste to make this post I've failed to actually detail what the issue is & where it occurs, my bad.
The actual 1v4 gameplay is fine, the issue is in the menus.
- The main lobby where you select characters, use the blood web, etc.
- The pre-game lobby
- The store
- And the sub-menus available in the main lobby where you check daily rituals, look at the inbox, etc.
If I play survivor it's possible to avoid the console generating too much heat.
Attempting to play The Houndmaster is where I got the overheat warning.
Waiting in queue for too long at the main lobby is what did the PS4 in. The actual game itself is fine.
-
@Memesis said:
You are aware you're using a 10 year old console to play an up to date live service game?
A 10 year old console that can run games significantly more demanding than DBD without overheating.
I could play 2v8 for several hours just a couple days ago without issue, the console is not the problem.
-
I honestly assumed it was a mistake & the outfit was supposed to be the other white rarity.
Kinda like how the art team keep making Legion outfits for Susie, but forget the part where Susie has to wear the outfit.
Poor Frank, y'think he liked it?
-
The simplest solution is the best
Survivors can stand up after being slugged for 1 minute.
They also receives 10 seconds of haste & endurance.
This ability would probably be disabled during the end game collapse like the anti-facecamp thing
-
Also, if we could get a graphic option that makes the game look like DBD Mobile that would greatly appreciated.
I love that low resolution video gamey look DBD Mobile has.
It reminds of Dementium & The Suffering
-
The 60 second requirement could be fine if the perk required a killer stun, hook save, or hook sabotage.
That definitely sounds more Moment of Gloryesque.
When the Hound Master update goes live MoG is going to be completely outclassed by Pharmacy.
-
Good.
2v8 shouldn't have giant maps, they defeat the purpose of 2v8 being chaotic fun.
-
Hamsters will bite and corner their enemies so I guess you gotta play Demogorgon.
Dissolution will help you corner people as well, try that out.

its already at 250% for a 3.5X more BP.
Exp
Experience for your player level
Survivor exclusive double experience
-
BHVR is gonna have to bust out survivor exclusive double exp & throw in a handful of cosmetic rewards for playing survivor at this rate
Without perks & killer variety, playing survivor becomes stale after a few games.
The giant maps aren't helping either, despite there being 2 killers you spend so little time with even one of them.
-
I'm a time traveler from the year 2155, BHVR just added Wesker & Nemesis yesterday.
It's so much fun slamming survivors into the zombies lol
-
All survivor items need a thorough rework & add-on pass.
Could you imagine if The Houndmaster was released & she only had 4 add-ons?
Oh wait, that's Pyramid Head.
Nevermind
-
Also maybe toy around with Better Together as well.
I feel like that perk is kind of in the same boat as Alien Instinct.
-

I wouldn't mind seeing a "unlicensed or licensed" map vote.
If licensed & unlicensed maps were separated into different pools it's more likely that people would vote for what they want instead of what will secure a win.
-
Also if the window of opportunity for the "Wasted" score event could be increased by 1 or 2 seconds that would be swell as well.

I think decreasing the cooldown is kinda risky because it would kill some mind games from the killer side, but they could test it
And I honestly forgot dark sense was a thing lol
If the killer lets you stand still for 2 seconds at a mind game-able loop they deserve to lose that mind game.
I understand your concern though, maybe the perk should only work outside of chase?
-
They should make it take 2 seconds.
It's more efficient than giving the perk a new effect.
I like your idea though, it outclasses Dark Sense, which means the design team would need to buff or rework that perk too.
-
Lore wise it would make sense that the killers (except Trickster) would tune out survivor's hook screams.
There's really no good reason why their brains would waste calories processing that information.
That accessibility page in the options menu is looking pretty empty, really wish somebody would add stuff to it.
-
Dude, it's Deathslinger, let him have something nice.
Are you gonna bring up Clown's pay to win straight razors because they're smaller than the default knifes?
Edit: I assumed where this post was going before it was finished, my bad.
I still stand firm in my belief that Deathslinger deserves nice things.
-
Man
Hitting a survivor while invigorated gives you 0 blood points.
That's crazy
-
Okay so... With 30 days left until the current rift expires & and the teasers we got for Dominus I think it's safe to say we did infact get 200 extra nodes of space for no reason.
Absolutely tragic we didn't get a deep rift version of David's rugby outfit, that haircut & jacket are so nice.
Hey! 5,000 blood points per node is just as good right!

He got a rework with the chucky patch. No recoil, moves at 4.6m/s, gets main event in 8 blades instead of 30 but has slower throw rate and removed ramp up and takes 8 blades to injure. Because of his decreased lethality, his memento blades add-on is basically a must have, as it straight up increases your throw rate by 10%.
For what purpose? Did they explain?
Having no recoil is nice but that alone doesn't warrant such debilitating changes.
Does main event deal more laceration damage?

Read the title of your thread. It isn't "hooks are too spread out". You are making a crazy comparison between hooks and pallets. The two have nothing to do with each other. You are only weakening your argument. If your goal is to reduce hook distances then you are failing to achieve your objective.
"The two have nothing to do with each other"
Ironic of you to tell me to reread my title when you clearly weren't paying attention to what I just said.
I'm not going to come onto the forums and insult people's intelligence by saying hooks are to spread out when everybody already knows that's a problem. Even you knew that's what my gripe was without having to be told.
As for hooks & pallets, they are resources necessary for progressing the game, you can't do gens without somebody taking chase, and you can't sacrifice people if there's one hook at main.
If you actually read anything I've posted you'd know I'm taking issue with how plentiful survivor resources are while I'm expected to overextend myself for one hook state.
-
@AmpersandUnderscore said:
So are you also saying that pallets should respawn a minute or so after being used (like hooks now do)?
Or are we going the other way, and hooks are now broken permanently the first time they're used (like pallets)?
Either way, this sounds pretty ridiculous, given that there are literally no map resources for the killer to 'use up' anymore.
"this sounds pretty ridiculous, given that there are literally no map resources for the killer to 'use up' anymore."
There was one hook I could use at main building, the fact it regens doesn't matter when the survivors can break it during my pickup animation.
"hooks are now broken permanently the first time they're used"
Works for me, at least there will be hooks I can use. Would the hooks be broken permanently if they got sabo'd?
@Dreamnomad said:
This is an ill conceived notion. These are two separate topics. I shouldn't have to say this but hooks aren't pallets. They are not equivalent objects and should not be viewed as such. If your argument was simply, "hooks are too spread out". Then I might be inclined to agree with you. At the very least on certain maps it really can be an issue. The Game map in particular has been a problem for me in the past. But it would be absolutely absurd for there to be an equal number of hooks as there are pallets on that map.
My complaint literally is "hooks are too spread out" and "pallets & windows are not spread out at all".
Spread the hooks the same way pallets & windows are.

I genuinely didn't know this guy had a first & last name, I just knew him as The Tall man.
I saw the title of the thread and sighed, like "Who tf even is that"π
Good thread, hope you get the killer you want!
-
I'm pretty sure BHVR will be adding more deep rift cosmetics over time.
Why else would they give themselves 200 deep rift nodes? Also there's two nodes around the sixties that are empty for no reason, I'm assuming David or Victtorio's deep rift stuff goes there and the leftovers bleed into the extra space.
I understand this is BHVR we're talking about, but I'm certain that's what they're doing.
Maybe they'll even start making deep rift versions of older rift outfits that were released before the deep rift existed?
-
When you're running as Oni holding forwards on the left stick makes it harder to turn.
He runs forward on his own you only need to turn left & rignt.
Aside from that, yeah, Oni is astonishingly bad with a controller. I'm not even sure how to describe it.
It's like playing Mario in any Mario party game, the game itself just hates you.
-
Deep Rift versions of default outfits & Community outfits.
How cool would a Deep Rift Mr. Puddles be?
-
I still can't believe we lost 2017 Freddy for this, it's like something out of a nightmareβ¦
-
They should've made it take longer to teleport depending on how many status effects you're afflicted with.
Blindness, exhausted, and you're being chased by a guard? 3 seconds of standing still at the threshold before you can teleport.
I'm not sure how hard that would be to code though.π€
-
The sky blue????

It "feels" like the Trickster community is being ignored?
idk man, I can see them ignoring you guys in real time and I didn't need to feel a thing.
Get well soon Tricksters π€π
