But I like to save all my event items for the next event to confuse people, I dropped so many year 4 cakes this event an got the same ######### reaction every time some players even thought i was hacking an dc'd 100% worth the wait.

One of these days I'm finally gonna get around to using my year 3 cakes and slight/moderate map offerings

  • I'd like a killer that pours fuel on the ground and on interactable objects and can light it, kind of like a setup/trap type killer

  • Constantly blinded and bro where are you going that's the corner of the map

  • They can barely make the game once, let alone making it again...

  • Survivors are all the same with nothing setting them apart besides their teachable perks, which can be easily unlocked on other characters after leveling up the survivor, so ultimately survivors are just skins

  • I've always wanted a map that had 2 large buildings with a high walkway connecting them (so I can be immersed and sneak past the killer while they're on the ground)

  • I bring Plunderer's + Appraisal and hide the key so no ######### ass tunnelers getting ready to beat my ass before the game even starts

  • Maybe they're gonna add a new kind of indicator on the survivor hud, I imagine if it was only related to the new killer or a new perk then it probably wouldn't appear when not playing as/against that killer/perk but maybe it is still possible. If they quietly remove it without acknowledging it then we might have our answer

In a little while I'm gonna play huntress and ask people if they noticed anything weird, maybe try to gather more info about it. I'll update this comment or make another one if I figure out anything

  • I've never actually seen that. Was colorblind mode on by any chance? Even if it was idk what it could've been

  • What if...

the extra i is unrelated to the hints

    rt just stands for retweet

they give us a W tomorrow

we realize it's just to draw more attention to the saw stuff and we end up with 0 actual hints 🤗🙃

  • inb4 the I was unrelated and the rt just stands for retweet, and we get a W tomorrow because of all the saw ######### they've been doing and it's not even a hint for the new chapter

  • I doubt the hints would be about Saw Spiral because everything else they're saying about it is super obvious so why would they try to do some kind of cryptic hint to tell us what we already know

  • I never used map offerings until this map came out. Now I use them all the time just so I don't have to play on this #########

  • I get accused of tunneling and camping all the time, just because I happened to find the same person again or I was near the hook because I saw someone going to the hook

The best thing to do is ignore survivors that try to tell you how to play, they just want to trick you into letting them win and making the game as easy as possible. The best strategy is what you think is the most fun/enjoyable, so play how you want to play and don't let them control you

As far as the insults go, the way I see it is: if they don't have anything nice to say, their opinion doesn't matter

  • Same kinda thing when I play Plague and run Agitation + Iron Grasp + Mad Grit, healing builds are deleted and anyone who tries a bodyblock/sabo play will find out the hard way when 2 people are downed from full health and I walk 20 meters to the basement and still get the hook

Usually they dc and I don't get to hear their response though

  • I want it just so everyone who doesn't want it can whine and complain about how it didn't cause any of the problems they said it would

  • Nemesis because he kicks ass

  • Zombies. It's nice to have some backup instead of being all alone. kinda wish I could do more with them though

  • As survivor: If the other 3 seem like swfs I usually dodge because half the time they try to get me killed and/or leave me. More of the people who have intentionally sandbagged me have been swf than not. And they always ######### talk in the endgame chat

As killer: If they have 4 medkits and look like they know what they're doing I might dodge. Flashlights though I don't really care because they usually try to blind the back of my head, unless I'm playing Nemesis then I might because I don't want all my zombies getting ######### up

  • Don't like my Boon: Everyone Escapes Death? Just do bones noob killer

  • I like her but goddamn the BP gain is so bad I'm basically paying BP to play her

  • When the killer has sloppy butcher and they are using self care while you die on the hook 🤗

  • I would like him if his power is fun and good and unique, but I could say the same for any killer

But assuming the powers are good, if I had to pick a license Candyman would be among my top picks, just behind F13 and Evil Within

  • The sad thing about them is that you have no interaction other than killing them so they respawn somewhere else, or standing in front of them for several seconds so they change direction (only works sometimes). You can't command them, you can't control them, they basically ignore you unless you're chasing a survivor, but even then they're paying attention to the survivor rather than you

There's very little strategy or decision making or skill with them because they do their own thing, it's up to you to try to make use of whatever it is they're doing or just ignore them and hope you get lucky

  • Monstrous Shrine:

When carrying a survivor, a portal will appear at the top of the basement stairs that you can drop the survivor into which will automatically place them on a basement hook (so you save time and risk of them wiggling out)

When placing a survivor in the portal, any other survivors that are in the basement will scream and become exposed and exhausted for 15/20/25 seconds

  • I wish I liked it but for me it lacks a lot of what made me like the first 2 games: character variants, sticker packs, totally different alternate abilities, each class having a distinct role, the overall gameplay loop being fun and really addicting, among other things. Despite fully leveling up many of the characters and playing a lot of both the singleplayer and multiplayer in battle for neighborville I never truly felt like I was into the game or like I really wanted to keep playing. I kept playing waiting for the magic from the first 2 to happen but it never really did. I find it kind of hard to look at it as a proper sequel, it feels more like a spinoff of the og garden warfare games than a true successor, for lack of a better way to put it

I mostly played for a period of time following the release, I'm sure they've added some stuff to the game that I haven't checked out yet but the core fundamentals of the game probably haven't changed enough to truly renew my interest in it to the same level of interest that I had for the garden warfare games

  • The way I do it is:

Long presses, like I'm going to try to escape but not actually filling the progress bar - no one is coming, someone needs to come

Quick repeated taps, not raising arms all the way, like my character is twitching or something - the killer is close, faster based on proximity

Rapid short presses in such a way that my arms are constantly flailing up and down without stopping - I'm about to ######### die and you left me hanging, or I'm bored with nothing better to do

  • I think it's cheating, but it looks like so much ######### is it even worth it

Also stuff like making bear traps pink or making the killer easier to see is definitely cheating

Perk icons and such isn't a big deal since it doesn't affect anything, but anything that alters stuff that affects gameplay is unfair

  • Even solo random teammates in dbd are miles better than the god awful trolls, sandbaggers, teamkillers, and straight up morons you get in F13

And the worst part is you can hear the Jason player talk, completely breaking all immersion. And usually they're an #########. Same goes if you're playing Jason, half the survivors that use their mic make fun of you and yell insults the whole time

If the game didn't have trolls and voice chat maybe I would've picked the other option due to having multiple objectives and survivors that are actually different and not just skins

  • I never let them hook me if I can help it because I always have that nagging feeling that they aren't gonna let me go. A lot of the time when the gates are open and people are farming I just leave because I'm afraid the killer is gonna turn at any moment

  • Anybody that isn't a licensed character

Licensed characters are like Myers, Freddy, Ash, JIll, Leon, etc. basically anybody from other games/shows/movies. There's way more than what I listed but basically if you had to pay money/auric cells to get them and you couldn't get them with shards, then they most likely can't have a crown

  • I'm probably already readied up and alt tabbed watching some random ######### on youtube so I most likely didn't even notice

Either way I'm glad there's one less medkit in the game

  • Imagine if Oni could only collect so much blood from a survivor

  • It's neat to have but I usually find people pretty quick anyways. And I like having 4 perks the whole game

  • It would be a bit easier to notice if this game wasn't buggier than an entomologist's lab

  • Half the time I go against Plague I'm like "aww man she infected me" and then 5 seconds later I look at the hud and notice that I'm not even infected

And? There are 1000s of other games that work.

I got gamepass, i got lots of options.

There are 1000s of games that aren't dead by daylight

I want to play dead by daylight, and it isn't working, so I'm gonna complain

    Also you're complaining about complaining

  • Hopefully never, I'm running map offerings every round after they turn it back on because I hate it that much

  • The dlc isn't broken, the whole entire game is. Even if we didn't buy it the game is still broken

  • Actually T3 doesn't even have a shorter cooldown, just a little bit different animation 😥

  • Mad Grit m1 spamming makes it look like he's waiting for a fist bump

  • I'm on pc and I get an Unknown error has occurred when I try go to survivor or killer

Theres the right request. Amount of zombies map dependent is a great ask. My games the zombies were as bad as the bots in the tutorials. Edge of the map facing a rock not moving. Fuking plague fountains all over again smh. At first my biggest request was tier 3 to be viable but that was until I realized how slow and clunky tier 1 & 2 are. The distance boost in tier 3 is laughable but the cool down is needed otherwise I wouldn't even use the tentacle ever on a survivor.

It doesn't change the cooldown, just the animation. It's almost like they wanted people to think it's better than it actually is without making it any better

  • Dear god I hope they leave it disabled permanently I'd rather wait for the dc penalty than play on that piece of garbage. All I know is I'm running map offerings every round once they turn it back on

  • Also Lightborn because fleshbong and blast my eyeballs

  • Shelter Woods really doesn't live up to its name. And it brought some friends: Rotten Fields and Wrecker's Yard. They're all gonna give you a bad time

Hawkins is the worst though. I really hate that place. Haddonfield is close behind

    Also swamp maps are terrible

Azarov's Resting Place is 3 gen hell in solo lobby

    Dead Dawg Saloon sucks too

Lery's is also pretty annoying, but I actually kinda like Midwich even though it's basically 2 donuts stacked on top of each other

I don't think there are any maps that really make me think "ooh yeah this place" I kinda hate them all but there are some I hate less

  • Hex: Ethereal Servant

    While this hex is active:

    • You cannot pick up or carry survivors (grabbed survivors will be automatically dropped)
    • Each survivor currently in the dying state will reduce your movement speed by 5%
    • Survivors that remain in the dying state for 16/15/14 seconds will be pulled into a portal and placed on the nearest hook by the Entity's tendrils

All the hex's positive and negative effects are removed when the totem is cleansed

"This world serves me just as much as I serve it"

    Infernal Contraption

The first (and only the first) generator you perform the damage action on will be granted the following effects:

    • The generator is highlighted in yellow as long as it is above 0% progress
    • The first time the generator would otherwise be completed it will explode and lose 50/55/60% of its progress
    • After the explosion the perk is deactivated for the rest of the trial

"You'll never fix that damned thing"

    Hex: Hero's Burden

Each time a survivor performs any of the following actions, they gain a token:

    • Healing another survivor
    • Rescuing another survivor from a hook
    • Rescuing another survivor from the killer's grasp
    • Taking a protection hit for another survivor
    • Sabotaging near the killer causing them to drop a survivor

Each token inflicts a 1% stacking Hindered effect on the survivor. Once the totem is cleansed, all survivors' tokens will degrade at a rate of 1 per 10/12/15 seconds

    "No good deed goes unpunished"

  • Sole Survivor: Any time another survivor is dying or hooked your aura can't be seen. Each time a survivor dies you see the killer's aura for 10/12/15 seconds

Boil Over: Also limits killer turn speed while carrying (like ph sword)

Buckle Up: People you heal off the ground also get a 20% speed boost for 3/4/5 seconds

Breakdown: It's permanent but only breaks the first hook you are unhooked from

Premonition: Make the audio warning come from the killer's location instead of an omnidirectional noise

This is not Happening: Great skill checks appear in the middle rather than on the edge and are 30/40/50% bigger, skill checks are 10% more likely to appear

Up the Ante: Rework how luck works to give it some other effect or change what it does, it is an antiquated mechanic

Wake Up: Open gates 80/90/100% faster. When you open an exit gate it is revealed to other survivors, and other survivors opening an exit gate are revealed to you

Solidarity: People see that you have it when interacting with them, downed survivors give you full conversion instead of half

Red Herring: Doesn't switch gens until you use it or gen is done, can pretend to activate killer perks like Discordance or Tinkerer (doesn't really make them undetectable, it only appears to for the killer) if the killer is using them

  • I kinda wish there was a perk that prevented generator notifications/special auras for the gen you're working on. Maybe Technician should do that instead of basically letting you sabotage generators

  • I got Temple of Purgation 4 times in a row with no map offerings yesterday

I kinda hate that map now
