I would love to have aim dressing removed....game doesn’t have auto aim
@OniWantsYourMacaroni said:
Just wanted to clarify that this game doesn't have auto aim but a mechanic which is called aim dressing.
Aim dressing basically makes sure that the animation matches up when hiting a target.
The main difference between aim dressing and auto aim is that auto aim can give you hits you shouldn't get and aim dressing can take hits from you that should have hit.
To answer your question. It's most of the time the second option and sometimes the first one.
This is an amazing way to explain it

*picks up Outlast and Outlast 2 gently*
CHRIS WALKER, DR.TRAGER, MARTA
I NEED EM, I WANT THEM
-
‘mori after 2 hooks. That way the only thing the add on saves is the last walk to a hook.’
Not a good idea as this would render the Memento Mori completely useless as its safer to hook survivors than Mori with this change
imo, all survivors should be hooked atleast once before being able to use the mori
-
First Person Camera is not a good idea for survivors as the TR isn’t directional, so this would make perks like Spine Chill almost required
Offerings would be a bad idea if one existed that changed the camera for either side
BBQ is not OP....on anybody...
DS isn’t an Anti-Tunnel perk, its Anti-momentum, it needs a rework that makes it something that isn’t Anti-Momentum
Spine Chill is actually used alot, premonition needs a rework

Rules are - 3 hooks and you are dead. Simple.
EMM - 1 hook and you will die... also it is a secret, so basically killer have one free kill before anyone will know ######### is going on. And good luck with those gens in 3 vs 1 match in sudden death mode. :)
Lets turn this around - why survivors dont have simple ultra rare offering "-1 gen to open gates". Already i can imagine killer topics about game breaking offering in games, where they fixed just one gen and escaped...
You can die in two hooks or even first hook
No rule exists on how many hooks it takes to die, only a limit which is 3, and Keys are the survivor equivalent of Mori’s as its considered a “free escape”
And probably every person who plays DBD already knows when the offerings doesn’t flip, someones gonna get mori’d

When I read the title I was gonna say “So, endgame chat:The Game”
Then I read the actual post and thats not a bad idea

Here's the counterplay for all the killers, coming from a killer main:
- Trapper: Watch your feet, stay out of tall grass when not in a chase
- Billy: Look behind you, avoid taking paths that force you into a straight line
- Wraith: Use your eyes instead of your ears, or run Spine Chill
- Nurse: Break LOS, run in a straight line when she isnt charging a blink(she's slower than you at base)
- Myers: Break LOS as much as possible, delay him tiering up for as long as you can. Myers captilalizes on bad teams much more than most killers, so keep that in mind. Don't rely on the post-hit speed boost as he might have T3 at 99%
- Huntress: Break LOS, be careful about dropping pallets/vaulting when she has hatchets
- Hag: Watch your feet, crouch over traps to avoid triggering them, a flashlight will reveal/destroy them
- Doctor: Lockers are your friends, stay out of his terror radius or get in a locker if 60 seconds have passed since his last shock blast. Drop the pallet/vault a bit earlier to counter the shock
- Clown: Drop the pallet early if he gasses you, theres plenty to go around thanks to his nonexistant map pressure
- Freddy: Stay awake as much as possible, either by skill checks(risky) or going to a clock(safer, plus gives a 30 second grace period). Drop dream pallets/break dream snares as you travel to weaken his control, drop the pallet early if he drops snares mid-chase
- Legion: Spilt up, his power is much weaker if he cant hit all of you. Don't forget to mend
- Bubba: Use windows as much as possible, as he can't break them. If somebody gets hooked in the basement, they are to be considered lost and you should rush the gens.
- Pig: Use your eyes or run spine chill to detect her in crouch, watch out for her roar. The trap is entirely harmless until a gen pops, so theres plenty of time to get it off. It also pauses the timer in a chase or on the ground
- Plague: Depends on your looping abilty. If you are good at running an M1 killer around, dont bother cleansing, UNLESS the other survivors cleanse. Keep in mind that if all the pools get corrupted, they all get cleaned and the plague gets nothing
- Ghostface: Again, use your eyes. Don't rely on the TR or Red Stain, and don't bother with Revealing him. Just run as fast and far as possible, he has no mobility.
- Demogorgon: Literally use your ears, every single one of his actions have a global audio queue. Remember to look behind you to see if his face is opening to juke a shred. NEVER vault a window if the Demo's face is open, you WILL get hit if they are good. Rememeber that while you are in contact with an open portal, you will not hear the Demogorgon's Terror Radius.
- Oni: Heal as soon as possible, preferably somewhere far away from objectives so the Oni won't have easy access to the resulting blood orbs. NEVER do a gen while injured, you will make the Oni's job FAR easier
- Deathslinger: Use your eyes instead of your ears, his TR is microscopic, especially since any good Slinger will have Monitor. Avoid going in a straight line, look behind you, and drop the pallet early
- Pyramid Head: Mixture of Hag and Demo. His trails are harmless if you crouch over them, and his M2 is easily dodged if you look behind you. Avoid dropping pallets or vaulting windows if his sword is in the ground. Also keep in mind that Torment has no effect on normal gameplay. The only downsides are leaving a short-lived trail whenever you move, and being able to be caged/morid on death hook. Most PHs will not cage unless its late game due to removing the possiblity of saving the third hook, along with not being able to see cages.
How true all of these are is hilarious to me, don’t know why
also here is one to add onto legion, try and make them miss when they are chasing you in frenzy
-
I don’t know what you are talking about
Mori’s are unbalanced yes, but not enough to break the game entirely...and how the hell does an offering break the rules?
They allow the killer to apply immense pressure quickly, however with them losing much more overall BP
Luckily, Devs are looking into Mori’s and Keys and planning on changing them
-
Good chance, yea I am not Peanits but if you mess with the files in any way you are at risk of being banned
-
Max settings here
Can’t wait till midchapter as thats when I am playing again cause I am going on hiatus
-
Bruh, wraith looks like a dementor and kapsans combined
-
So thats why Pig wasn’t getting nerfed as much, they were gonna throw her in the bad boy bin also known as the trash can

Ranks are something to work for. And they use rank for matchmaking but half the time its a rainbow lobby lmao
I recently found a lobby that was me (rank 1) against really low rank survivors
(See above)
But in DBD, ranking up isn’t that hard on either side and along with the matchmaking that is a miracle if it does its job.
However, like mentioned in the post I said, a dev confirmed that Mori’s and Keys are being looked into around the same time as the Billy nerf reveal
-
Anything that isn’t a FNAF chapter.
The killers power has to be revolving around the characters lore, but Springtrap is missing multiple of these, same with the other anamatronics. He would only work in a game where the OBJ was to kill the survivors before a timer ends (As provoked via the timer system in FNAF), which doesn’t fit this type of game, along with that he doesn’t have a weapon, he literally scares you to kill you. Mix these together, and you will get a killer that straight up has no weapon and has a power that is put onto a time crunch.....thats not a killer

mark has played this game before I believe

What console you play on I'm on xbox and we can really debate about this in the party. Also a good slinger can either have good aim or ads spam and make you juke and lose speed and distance.
Arent jokes supposed to be funny? Idc whether you are a survivor or killer main you are speaking nonsense. Pyramid head I mentioned in my previous comment go read that.
Xbox actually, FPS is horrible when spamming the hell out of ADS and playing Demogorgon on any red forest map is a deathwish.
Also no, not all jokes have to be funny, I was literally singing and you took it seriously and I actually am not speaking nonsense as I actually used to play Pyramid Head, just like old bubba he is rewarded for survivors mistakes, infact thats his power, he literally punishes survivors for a mistake.
Nerfing Pyramid Head would be like Nerfing Legion again, you would just be throwing away them purpose of his power and making his ranged attack even more worthless, including baiting

Ok so as you do that "to the left to the left to the left" you lose speed and he gains distance for an easy m1.
And pyramid head same applies if you do that you will lose speed and they catch up and m1.
Mate you missed the joke
Deathslinger is easy as hell to dodge and if you are running in a straight line you are getting shot
Pyramid Head is literally huntress but without hatchets and can go through walls, tight corridors and trying to stun him while he is in his power will kill you
They will only zone you if you fall for it or become predictable as hell
Hit me with the Killer Main treatment and I will gladly say I an taking a break from killer as the FPS on console is killing me
-
@azame said:
The devs dont care currently they keep making killers with no counterplay other than guessing except demo is fine.
How to counter Deathslinger: to the left to the left to the left
How to counter Pyramid Head: crouch or move to the right to the right to the right
-
I assume you mean by “brown action” as in (Censoring bad word) your pants

that's all well and good but are you looking at them for prolonged periods in SH? for me it's prohibitively annoying, i have to look away from the screen or accept the headache
it's like a toned down strobe light before/after every match
In certain hallways, yes you could be on higher difficulties as they could probably eat 8 shotgun shells on hard, but if anything you can block the Lying Figure using the killer portraits. However they can twitch that fast, maybe even faster, for much longer in Silent Hill 2 while they are on the ground
For me however, I could watch it twitch all day, however people with motion problems are a different story.
-
Farmer John is my favorite, one of the few that gets me to laugh pretty hard
Least favorite is Jaee (I think thats how you spell it), Don’t like him for reasons I will not disclose on forums
-
Jesus if you are gonna be like that then let me do the same
Devs are showing they are listening while you are acting like a child when they get something soft from a christmas present, you really need to remember what a PTB IS
IT MEANS “PLAYER TEST BUILD” FOR A REASON AND CLEARLY THEY SRE CHANGING HIM AND JUST LIKE PEANITS SAID ON A THREAD YOU MADE AND RESPONDED TO, THEY ARE CHANGING HIS ADD-ONS
Edit: Being tired really hurts sometimes
-
My build is weird but I like it
Fire Up, Bamboozle, Thana, Devour
Because vaulting fast
-
the Lying Figures are the same way in Silent Hill, they twitch alot.
Atleast they are not attacking...
EDIT: forgot the not
-
I just send them something across the lines “in order to lose to trash, you have to be worse than trash”
-
Uhh, Bloodlust is used to confirm that eventually the survivor will go down or get hit, and removing it will bring a spike out of killers that are strong inside and outside of the chase, I.E killers like HillBilly, Nurse, Demogorgon, etc just so they can apply pressure to generators faster or even purposely exit a chase. And reworked maps still have powerful loops, just the extremely powerful ones are gone. Along with what I said, indoor maps will definitely bring issues as these maps usually have alot of vaults (Lérys and Midwich) which will indeed require the killer to have BloodLust to catch up to the survivor faster so they can defend generators
-
I agree, it should also be something on twitch as I am pretty sure only 3 people own a stadia
-
Try being grateful that devs even changed him and are listening to us instead of yet again yelling at them.
Now like I said 20 times, this is a PTB, EVERYTHING IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE

Given this is a WORSE repeat of the nurse they won't.
Also they completely ignored all PTB feedback on the nurse "Addon rework" so nurse "Addon rework" 2.0 billybogalu won't be any different.
Devs mentioned they liked the original billy alot, more likely for it to change and if not, they’ll change the overheat so chainsaw sprinting is more common. BHVR wants this game to last for a while so they are always listening

Omg are you kidding me rn? Imagine someone believes the ptb feedback will make big changes happen. What you see I'm the current PTB is exactly what you will get on live build. They will do miniscule number changes and that's it.
You tell me to stay optimistic as if this is the 1st ptb we ever got. So many PTBs in the past showed us that feedback is not taken serious. No matter how many people come up with logical and reasonable feedback changes (even with videos showcasing issues and big streamers talking about) they don't listen to it.
Not kidding bucko, people can change and that includes the BHVR team, not being optimistic is pretty bad as well, give them another chance at redemption
-
ah yes, she must reach 80
Outside of that it depends on Meg’s lore and if it fits her
-
Well...Forced Penance isn’t limited to the basement and I have actually done some fun stuff with Mad Grit and Forced Penance

we saw the ptb and hes an c tier killer now
See the message above. Just remain optimistic that BHVR learns from past mistakes
-
So like Revenant’s Silence from Apex? Hell no
A Killer’s power is what makes them unique in every way, unlike items
If killer’s could have their power disabled and force them to be an M1 killer would make Nurse actually horrible
-
@DwightOP said:

Told you. I didn't need to try the ptb but only my brain to predict how's going to be. And after testing the ptb and watching others doing it I was absolutly right
Still a player test build, if the change stays when reaching the live build then thats when the issue comes in, believe me its fully possible BHVR learns from mistakes. Just stay optimistic

And number 4 in the anniversary post was just a number 4.
Well if it was an SCP hint it would have said (DATA REDACTED), the Pyramid Head hint was from how they positioned the 4, as Pyramid’s head could easily be shaped as a 4

Doesn't matter, there's nothing unique about survivors thanks to teachable perks.
Thats where you are wrong kiddo!
Every survivor has different sounds and voices, along with this they are either quieter or louder
Also cosmetics make survivors unique as well as no other survivor has the same one

@CertArn said:
He is not a killer.
He kills splicers to protect the little sister, that makes him a killer

I like what we have now, as it makes you have to think what perks you want to bring and prevents combinations that could possibly break the game

Please? I bloody love Bioshock

What? I don’t think a killer got nerfed in 4.0.0 and Bubba just got buffed with Billy’s nerf

If its getting so old then why don't idk.. AVOID THE THREAD. YOU'RE LITERALLY ASKING FOR MORE BY COMMENTING ITS YOUR FAULT. Like it doesn't make sense, you say these threads get old yet you keep on clicking on them instead of ignoring them. Is it that hard man?
I didn’t say these threads are getting old I am saying that people stating devs don’t care is getting old. Its not always a thread title either, could be a comment, could be anything. Its getting really annoying that people seemingly just ignore changes that happened after a PTB from community demand and go after all the times devs didn’t change something.
-
just like the previous cakes, they can still be used
-
Just an Add-on pass as a killer shouldn’t have a common add-on thats better than the UR add-ons
If he does get buffed it needs to be towards his portals, and allowing him to pick them up
-

I like playing Legion. He's more competitive then people admit. Four second stun or not.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1415326#Comment_1415326
I understand that, people can find fun in him but others are different, imo he is the most boring due to them just feeling like a survivor with extra steps, however others can find him fun due to how easily pressure can be applied. He isn’t the worst as he probably has the highest snowball potential I have seen
