154 Days since Uknown got skin in store (realese DLC day). Got anniversary Tome skin.
40 Days since Sable got skin in store (+ also one in April). She also has new in current Tome.
Can Unknown please get something? Why did Skull Merchant, Sable, Knight, Trickster, etc. got all skins pretty much every major patch and yet Unknown gets nothing (outside of free skin for event) in store. Sable in meantime gets two new skins. She allready has two more skins than him but they are from same patch and day.
The bias is obvious here. It's sad. Unknown has so many cool things you can put on it since its litteraly like Dredge unknown entity that looks humanoid kinda and you can dress him however you want. Wasted potential.
In case you haven’t noticed it, there is a clear bias towards survivors for cosmetics. Elodie and Felix have more outfits than Huntress despite her being in the game for 3 years longer than them.
So of course the survivor will get more cosmetics than there killer counterparts

Scouts are so funny vs Huntress, the Urban Evasion alone makes them give up chases against trash loops
and yet people said she didn’t need the movement speed boost. She moves at 85% in 2v8 and is being cooked by urban evasion.
Now imagine her default 77%. Everyday im proved more and more right on that

both are an issue and should be fixed. survivor hitboxes should be vaguely survivor shaped instead of a cylinder that lags behind them and hatched hitboxes should be hatchet shaped instead of spheres, but that will probably never happen.
And for the health of the game they never should be changed. If survivors Hitboxes were accurate and followed the survivor and there lean then looping would be much harder for them.
If Huntress’s hitboxes were changed she would go from being in the bottom 5 of kill rates to the very bottom.
-
@Hex_Ignored said:
They fixed it once but because huntress players could no longer hit a survivor by throwing a fridge in the survivor's general direction, they reverted it. So now we still have those broken hitboxes.
It’s almost like it’s not the hatchet Hitboxes are the problem?😨 The survivor Hitboxes are the problem.
-
Her hatboxes are the same since release. They were changed back in 2018 for a few weeks and they were awful and her already low kill rate plummeted even more. They are fine as they are.
-
Im still waiting on the Huntress Night Owl skin from the rift that is 2 years old. So you might have to wait awhile lol.

When not using Tombstone, just regular moris, killing someone on the floor will result in the camera taking a third person perspective. Why was this changed after so many years?
I really liked the first person perspective of Myers' Mori. It's definitely a downgrade in my eyes.
I wish all Mori's were third person. I paid for my cosmetics and they are the only time I can see them! But Huntress's is first person so I can't even see them then. 😥

Kinda a hot take but here we go.
The endurance given to a survivor when they are unhooked is supposed to be for dissuading the killer from focusing on that survivor and ignoring the rest. However survivors use this mechanic recklessly to protect others, thus encouraging the behavior this feature is sought to fight against. There are perks that already work with protection hits so why not use that to fix this and make the mechanic work as intended? After all a survivor should be punished for actively endangering themselves. I would make this affect only the basekit endurance, leave it on with perks such as Off the Record and such, as using a perk slot for doing certain things seems to be an affodable price for an action such as this.
If they are body blocking for a survivor just wait 10 seconds down them and hook them again. They are punished for body blocking with basekit BT and you have insane pressure now that they are on death hook or dead.

Well you did say you were in a spot for a few minutes. If you're aura got revealed before you got there they can remember you running in that direction and check to see if you are still there.

I think those kinds of things would break the horror theming too much. While those Survivor perks you listed can make for funny plays, that's not the primary objective of those perks.
I agree, but at the same time. Mad Hatter Ace, Toilet Paper Mummy Dwight, Court Jester Vittorio kind of killed the horror atmosphere already.

This is happening for every killer. I'm not sure what the exact cause is for it though.

Yeah, some people go an extra mile to shut you down if they disagree. Im a former killer main and i played with an SWF for a while, now i do a bit of both, and i just want a balanced game for both sides. But that also means that i get hate from both sides, as its often "them vs. us" discussions.
Yup, that's where I'm at too honestly. That's why I don't post all that much anymore, people take everything personally for some reason. Or you suggest a change and people call you garbage for wanting that change.
What's craziest to me is that you can have an opinion that is backed up by every big content creator for this game each of which having over 10,000 hours and people with 100 hours will just flat out deny it and say it's wrong instead of actually thinking about it.
And you can main a killer and be one of the best and have an opinion about a buff for them and still be called garbage. Like CoCo has 10,000 hours on Huntress and when he said her movement speed buff was fine people who have like 80 hours in the game said he is clueless and is bad.
Nobody tries to hear the other side. They are just waiting for a reply so they can say they are right again but this time in a different way.

I dont use either corrupt and lethal on my trapper.
I think we are on the same page, Lethal is really good on some killers, others not so much. The same goes for Corrupt.
But Distortion isnt even on the top 10 used perks (According to NL) Lethal is the 5th most used killer perk.
I agree. I see 1 distortion almost every single game. I personally don't have a problem with it as a concept. I just think it should be reduced to 6-7 seconds or make it to where you only get tokens in chase.
And while yes Lethal is Top 5 I don't believe that means it should be nerfed or else we should look at Windows Of Op as that has been number one far and away for ages.

I always considered meta Huntress to be a full suite of aura perks and add-ons. Aura reading is so strong on her.
Aura reading is very strong on her and meta if you can hit long range shots consistently, which the majority of Huntress's can not do. Full aura will do you no good if you just see where survivors are and run over to them and engage in a close range chase while being a 110% killer, she is too slow to work that way. The real meta will forever be 2 slowdown and 2 aura or 1 slowdown and three aura for her. If you see Huntress's running full aura either they are insane and can win with that build OR they are practicing and trying to get better at snipes, orbitals and so on.
According to nightlightgg her most used build is full aura and only has a 52% kill rate. Meanwhile her other most used builds that have grim, pain Rez and dead lock have 70-90% kill rates.

@[Deleted User] said:

And if the killer have no aura reads it is a wasted perk, all game.
Corrupt is good if you are slow to get a down or need survivors to come to you. I would rate them both good in different situations.
But if you really think that Lethal is so bad as you claim, why do you care if it get nerfed? you wont use bad perks, right??
I never said it was bad I said it is only insane of 5 killers, of course it’s a solid perk. And yes, yes I do use bad perks because I’m not a Meta perk robot, I like to have fun.
And you can guarantee that roughly 90% of games will have a form of aura read in it according to Nightlights stats. So while it can be wasted, both sides have perks that can be wasted.

@[Deleted User] said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3779158#Comment_3779158
Then distortion isnt any good against any but those 5 killers??
No matter what killer i choose (perhaps with Doc as the exception) i get great value from knowing where the survivors start and go to in the beginning, so i know where to apply pressure. - on top of that, it extends aura readings and that makes it even better.Corrupt intervention is much better than Lethal for a majority of reasons.
And no Distortion is still good because if any killer brings 1-2 aura reading perks then they have 1-2 useless perks all game.
-
Lethal Pursuer is crazy good on like 5 killers. Other than that it’s mediocre. Trapper with LP is still garbage.
-
The problematic part of it is that it can either be garbage and not do anything. Or it can be insane and completely reset a team that was kicking your butt all game.

The thing is getting worst when she is starting to team with the other killer using her vc & when nobody was spotting her when you are just unhooked from the Cage…
oh well, there is 2 killers. Them teaming up is perfectly fine and actually not optimal at all. True there isn’t much you can do at the unhook but she is also the slowest killer in the game so her getting to the unhook is very difficult.

Huntress stronger than Artist, Singu, Wesker, Chucky, Twins, Oni, Xeno, Plague (?) is where I lost interest to it.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. I think I put PP head one step above as well since he can deny all hook perks for survivors, zone pallets and windows the best in the game, and deny pallet and flashy saves. The tunneling king for sure.

The Huntress
- Free character
- You aim, you shot, you kill/injure on sight
The Unknown
- Have to be unlocked/payed
- Has bouncing projectilve that you have to think of
- Has small AoE projectile that can hit though walls
- Has to hit you twice with your power within few seconds otherwise the first shot is reseted back to 0.
- Direct hits does nothing (hindred effect has no impact)
- You have to use more brain power to use shots
- Can be more easily avoided than direct faster hatches
- Can sometimes teleport somewhere I quess
They both do pretty much the same job.
You’re grossly underselling unknown. He’s not great by any means but instant map wide teleport is insane. Not to mention you can place it anywhere you want as long as you have been there first. Don’t forget double hits which very few killers can do.
I’d like to point out the highest ever win streak on Huntress is 101 meanwhile Unknowns highest is just under 100 and still going. He’s not awful by any means.

And to me that's a problem with people these days, people forgot how to lose without Raging or they just don't see humor in the situation , is it really healthy for those people to play a game like this with such a fragile mental state that they can't handle a bunch of pixels bopping up and down on a screen?
Well when you have a bad day at work or in life that can cause you to not tolerate things you would normally.
And it's really not that hard to just leave the game and not tbag or not hit someone on hook. I have played thousands of survivor matches and I have t bagged at gate a grand total of 2 times. Back when I was brand new and the killer was tunneling. It does nothing but annoy people so why do it at all?

Anything in game is fair play, people can leave their feelings in the real world where real problems are happening, everyone is just here for fun and if for some reason you or me or anyone else isn't having fun or feels bullied it's totally up to those people to remove themselves from things or situations that cause them a mental strain
Easier said than done. Some people play this game to have fun and unwind after a hard day at work. Using a goofy build to have fun only to destroyed by a sweat squad that wait out the full EGC spamming loud noise notis. Its never bothered me personally, but I understand why it bothers others. I have been playing games for 20 years, so you just get used to it. But not everyone is like that.
-
It's hard to say. I feel like he needs a buff but the stats sometimes say otherwise. We need new official stats from DBD honestly. According to DBD's last official stats Ghost Face has a higher kill rate than Huntress at Top 5% and General MMR. People were outraged when Huntress got buffed and they will probably be outraged if Ghosty gets buffed.
Do you have any ideas for buffs for him?
-
I really love Mori's and want to see more of them for each killer. Imagine if Huntress had a special mori for downing a survivor on death hook past 24 meters. That would be sick
-
Jane has already been in one of these bundles, idk about Haddie tho. These are green skins on discount and as a result probably don't sell that well to begin with. So putting them on sale might convince people to be like "ehh, why not?"
I personally have never bought a single green rarity skin except for the Huntress ones
-
@Skitten56 said:
I just wish they would put more cosmetics in the bundles that are from past rifts that have not reached the store yet. Normally they come to the store about a year later, but there are a few cosmetics I've been waiting on for over 2 years now.
It feels pretty bad not to have access to a cosmetic I wanted just because I wasn't able to play for a rift, and then have to wait literally years without any idea of when it will come to the store. It would be nice if BHVR had a consistent schedules for this or was more open about the process.
Ive been waiting on the Night Owl skin for Huntress for 2 years now. And what's weird is about month ago they released the rift outfits for Gabriel and the singularity and those rift outfits are only 6 months old

Chocolate_Cosmos beat me to it, but typically when we create a Killer with multiple powers, they each tend to be weaker or more situational to compensate. In this case, although he has three forms with their own abilities, there's a right time and a wrong time to use each one. The added flexibility of having various powers to adapt to any situation is offset by their strength being slightly lower than traditional single power Killers.
We definitely don't want to give a Killer several full strength powers. Power creep isn't something we want either.
PLEASE LET HUNTRESS CLIMB AND RUN THROUGH TREES!!!!!😫

To solve this we should give all killers second powers. Here's to hoping that the Huntress can climb and run through trees like the predator in hunting grounds.💀
-
Did we all just forget Felix Richter won and got a Community skin from Hunnybe4r? I actually went and checked out their art because of that skin.
They should not waste a community skin on a character most people never play. They should save it for some of the most played characters so that way they can maximize there profits and allow the artists work to be seen by a lot of people and attract people to their art.

On the contrary, wilful association with hateful bigotry - acceptance of it and funding of it - is contemptible.
So yes, collaborating with Scott Cawthon and financially supporting him is in fact an endorsement of him.
Whereas if one felt strongly that LGBTQ people should not have their rights threatened, infringed upon, or destroyed, one would not do that.Well its a good thing he is not a hateful bigot at all as addressed in a video from game theory; where Scott did not realize the charity he donated to, had that stance. He did not donate to the charity with the intention to stop LGBT people. He donated only because of his political stance. Just like people can like and vote for a president and not agree with every policy that that candidate endorses.

Keep in mind Terminus from Wesker has only showed up one single time in over two years and that was a whole year after its release.

While nurse does ignore god pallets she definitely does NOT ignore pre running and W keying.
That will provably never happen. Give Huntress the ability to vault pallets and sprint and THEN and only then will you have a killer that fits that description.

Ah okay I understand. I wonder if there was ever a survivor that could resist The Entity's mind control?
It could be mind control but I’m not sure. Vigo created the hatch which the entity didn’t want to happen I don’t think so he would be an example. Unless the entity secretly wanted it to happen.
-
I only played it for the achievement, but after I got the achievement I tried it a few more times. Although if a survivor jumped in a locker I would just hook them and move on.
I usually use tombstone piece because I think it’s really funny to instantly kill someone who hasn’t seen me all game. And I think it’s hilarious when it happens to me.
I never hide in lockers as survivor because it feels incredibly lame to do that but I also don’t let them have it for free.
There is no code but if he sits at a locker waiting for you to get out it’s probably for the achievement.
-
It's apart of the rules for the trial. I don't think anything actually hurts any of the killers. A pallet wouldn't hurt nemesis. Nor would DS. But the entity allows the survivors to make certain weapons and makes it stun the killer so that way the survivor can get away and increase the hope of the survivor, thus giving the entity more food since it feeds on emotions. I would assume Survivors don't have a choice where to stab the killer. Just like how they all can just repair generators despite never having worked on them before.
Everything that happens in the trial only happens because the entity allows it. With the exception of hatch as that was created by Vigo and not meant to exist. Survivors don't actually fight back fully because they can't. Otherwise Leon would be going sicko mode.

BHVR can do whatever, they just shouldn't make queer acceptance part of their brand, and then work with someone who contributes to harming queer people.
Well said, they can do whatever they want. Business is business at the end of the day and it's hard to say no to millions of dollars. Especially when you have to pay people so they can feed their families.

Putting his IP in the game doesn't mean they endorse his viewpoint, it just means that his views and actions don't bother them enough to say no.
They shouldn't say no either. Every person is free to do with their money what they want. Besides Bhvr makes money for this that could go to LGBT causes.
-
What if the survivor has really good perks?
-
You can collaborate with someone and not endorse their viewpoint. Scott knows DBD is openly pro LGBT AND donates to LGBT charities. And this license puts money into Bhvrs pockets that in turn could be used for the causes Bhvr supports.
Scott isn't letting Bhvr's pro LGBT stance stop a collaboration and Bhvr is doing the same because they are mature people.
Business is Business.

He is the creator and deserves the money for his creation being used, so he will rightfully get it. And Putting his content in the game is not an endorsement of his viewpoint obviously.
